The process of buying and installing hurricane impact windows with Karoly Windows and Doors has been smooth. The vice president, Brandon, helped us decide which windows would be the most appropriate and showed us why a full frame window replacement was preferred. He wasn’t a pushy sales guy and didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. He also knew certain things about the building code and explained them to me while making install suggestions. He was so patient with me. The windows arrived after the ETA which was a bit disappointing. The ladies in the office always kept me up to date which I appreciated. We had a very positive experience with Karoly Windows and Doors from the salesperson through the installation. Our home is older, and the old aluminum frame windows and patio door were not energy efficient by today’s standards. The Karoly Windows and Doors estimate we received from Brandon was informative and reasonable in price, given the high-quality product and the excellent energy ratings. We replaced all windows and the three-panel patio door hurricane impact windows and impact doors. The installation crew completed the job in four days, as estimated. They did excellent work, carefully removing the old windows, installing the new ones, and sealing and trimming the edges. They were conscientious and had an impressive attention to detail, including matching the existing stucco texture seamlessly around the newly installed patio door. I met with 8 different window companies looking for the right one. Karoly Windows and Doors in-home was the best out of the 8. Brandon was so nice and he wasn't pushy about making a sale. He was knowledgeable about the products, installation, permitting, and building codes. I received an estimate that day. Karoly Windows and Doors emailed me a well written estimate with all the details the next day (very professional). I signed the contract and waited for the windows. The ETA for my windows changed which was frustrating but I understood because suppliers are having trouble still from covid. The staff in the office did an awesome job communicating with me (very proactive). On the day of installation, everything went well. The installer team was nice and courteous. They respected my home and the clean up was good. The city inspector complimented the job. I absolutely love my new impact windows and I am so grateful for a simple process. The quality of the three impact doors that we purchased and installed is very good and our inspector said that he had the same doors put in his home and has been very happy with them. I love my new impact windows. I had them installed, and I give five stars for both the product and the service. The windows are beautiful and let in so much more light now. Even better, my house is much quieter. I live on a semi-busy residential street the road noise has been reduced considerably. The windows are very nice looking, much better on both the inside and out than the builder grade windows from the 90s I had before. And much easier to keep clean. As for the installation, the crew did a fantastic job, was well organized, and had a step-by-step process set up that made the installation go very smoothly. They were even able to deal with the problematic framing of a couple of my windows without missing a beat. They were very good at cleaning up after themselves, leaving no mess behind inside or out. And most importantly, they were professional, well spoken, and polite and answered all my questions. I highly recommend both Simonton windows and Karoly Windows and Doors.

We are happy with our new impact windows and doors from Karoly Windows and Doors. We have a large house (5,000 sq. ft), and we had 20+ windows replaced along with 8 doors (4 hinged and 4 fixed). Several of the windows were HUGE (almost 2-story) with half moons. The installers were thorough, responsive, and communicative throughout the installation. The installation was excellent! Not only did they do a fantastic installation, but their professionalism was next to none. Every morning they covered and protected everything. At the end of each day, they thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed, and tidied up the entire work area. We are pleased with the whole process. Karoly Windows and Doors was great from the initial sales/fitting assessment and the installation. My only downgrade is based on the length of time from the down payment to installation. It was about seven months between signing and installation. Supply chain issues are just like anyone else these days, so there is not much anyone can do about that. WOW!!! I had a good experience with Karoly Windows and Doors. This company's main focus is customer service, replacement windows and, door replacement. I had all our exterior doors replaced and windows replaced. The installation went well! One window had a small defect and the office staff contacted me right away to let me know they have requested another one. They did a fantastic job not only on the installation but clean up as well. Wonderful experience from start to finish beginning with Brandon's visit for the estimate, the helpful office staff (Angela & Alejandra), and of course the great installation team. Our experience was great from start to finish. Brandon guided us through the choices to replace windows in our old home and responded to our concerns and issues. After the order, they kept us informed of delivery dates and worked with us to schedule install dates that worked with our schedule. Installation of the 14 windows took two days, and the crew was on time each day and installed all windows with care and minimal disruption, even with two small kids running around. They handled all issues and came up with solutions where there were issues. After each window was installed, they kept the area clean and free of debris and cleaned up the whole site well at the end. Karoly has installed 11 high-quality storm windows so far in my residence. Of all estimates I got he was the only owner to show up, and he took final measurements at the 1st visit, as opposed to sending someone out later after quoting to re-measure when the order is placed as with everyone else. Pricing was competitive. It took 10 weeks for the installation date and so far everything went perfectly, installed in 1 1/2 days. The installers were organized, careful and continuously cleaned up behind themselves. The windows work well and look great. Very satisfied.

Owner Karoly is a hard working man. My initial quote was done more than a year ago really late into that evening. I couldn't believe he was still out on the road. His price is good but I did not go with him just because of the decent price. I saw good reviews on Angie's list and I trust these reviews. He has very good installers and they work hard. They are punctual professional and very attention to detail. The only thing I would like to point out is that they are a bit hard to communicate due to language barrier but that is not their fault. I wish I could speak Hungarian! The office staff are extremely responsive, professional and friendly. Danalyn and Cynthia will stop whatever they are doing to help you and address your concerns. Requested a quote from Karoly recently for a full replacement of 23 windows and 2 doors on a 2 story home with impact everything (Irma scared the crud out of me). Scheduling was easy, and the owner Karoly himself comes out for every sales call to discuss options and take direct measurements. No follow up appointment required for measuring - he handles everything up front. Within 2 business days I received an exceptionally detailed quote via e-mail, with all the technical specs, for Simonton's StormBreaker Plus windows. The price was very reasonable, and in line with pricing I'd already had to negotiate down from other installers I was considering. Ultimately, I decided to go with another installer for this project, but it was an extremely difficult decision as my experience with Karoly was excellent overall. My decision came down to a couple of very minor factors - but I very much appreciated the detail received and straightforward approach. I would not hesitate to recommend Karoly Windows and Doors to anyone who is looking into a window or door replacement - they are definitely worth talking to.

Incredible results! I ordered 9 white in & out double hung replacement windows (3 sliders & 5 casements, 1 picture window). The communication with the office was top-tier. One of my windows arrived at their warehouse cracked, and they immediately called and informed me of my options. We decided at the end of the call to reorder the window. There was an issue with the prebuilt casing box for my kitchen window due to the tile backsplash, which turned a 1-day job into a 2-day job. However, the installers were excellent at planning and communicating and came back the 2nd day for an hour to complete the job.
