Working with WMD was nothing but a positive experience. The whole team was very professional and talented. We worked with Darren to choose capping which would match our gutters/downspouts, and the ending result was the windows looked like they were always there. Throughout the project Darren also re-evaluated our specific needs and actually saved us $500 by recommending keeping the original window sills in place. So we didn’t have to pay for extra materials and labor. Only a quality company who values their customers and has integrity would do that! We loved working with a family run/operated company as well. Window Mechanics Direct (WMD) completely transformed our 100 year old home. We had 70 year old steel siding which was in disarray. WMD worked with me on so many little particular details and the many changes I had made during the design process. Darren was easy to work with and completely saw my vision and was able to have his team execute it beautifully. WMD installed new siding, new custom molding around the windows and doors, installed new doors and windows, and built a custom portico over our front door. Mike's skills are out of this world and his attention to detail is phenomenal. Nancy is so easy to work with and her skills are on point. After reading all of the good reviews i reached out for an estimate and i was contacted the same day by both Taylor and then Darren and from there we set up the consults and i booked them for the job. We wanted a sliding glass door installed where there was a Window and it was not an easy task. Mike showed up every time he said he would and they worked hard. Also, they cleaned up everything as they went along which I really appreciated. At the end of each day they were here i got an update on what they did and what else needed to be done and in about 4 days this job was complete and my door is in! We are very happy with the door as well as The service we received. I can’t recommend them enough. Im relived that i was able to find a good company, that stands by their work, shows up and gets the job done, all through a google search. I will be using them again!

I usually don't write reviews for companies I hire to do work on my house but I was so impressed with Darrin and his crew I had to give a review. I had my front bay window replaced on January 20, 2022. Darrin and his crew of two were here first thing in the morning and got right to work. They were friendly, professional, and careful with my property. They put in long hours that day to get done as much as possible stopping when they ran out of sunlight. When they left they made sure to clean any dirt from the install inside my house. Darrin came back the next morning to caulk and he did such a wonderful job. The window is beautiful. Everyone I dealt with in this company was professional and friendly. I got estimates from a few other companies and got the best price from Window Mechanics. If and when I have to replace more windows I will definitely be calling Window Mechanics to do the job.

My wife and I were looking to get 12 windows replaced in our house. We received 6 different estimates and chose Window Mechanics Direct because: 1. Their estimate was far better than the others we received 2. They were the only business that continually followed up with us after we received the estimate to proactively try and answer any questions we had about the costs/ scope of work 3. We changed the scope of work and they quickly provided an adjusted estimate Once they were hired for the window replacement, Darren with Window Mechanics Direct immediately ordered the materials and provided us with an estimated timeline. Darren started the job the week he said they would which was important because we had taken off work that week. Below are some of the things that made this a great customer experience: 1. Darren introduced us to all of his crew, which I liked because it didn't feel like I had a bunch of strangers working around my house a. Everyone in the crew was friendly as well 2. They took care to place down matts and blankets in the walkways so they didn't damage the floor or track dirt when walking around the house 3. They carefully removed the old windows 4. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it Overall great customer experience and I would use them again if need be. Everything is quality, from top to bottom, but its the little details that really put me over the top. We had used WMD in the past for some smaller projects, but this one was by far the largest in terms of cost. They really did not disappoint! Darren is great to work with over the phone, always available for a quick phone call to check in, even when its late and on the weekends. My work schedule doesn't leave me much availability, so it was a huge relief that he could so easily work with my schedule. And I definitely kept Darren busy with a lot of phone calls! Our door frame was rotten leaving a big chunk of hole on it. We were ready for a big spending to repair the entire door set, but Darren from Window Mechanics Direct provided us with another option, which was to cap the door frame with a guarantee that "It would look beautiful, water tight and give our door some extra years". The repair work was done by his uncle Bill, who did a marvelous job with an excellent result as promised.
