I must say I had great experience with Rapid Tinting. I waited few days to see how my tints holding up before leaving this review. I can definitely say that the XR Prime Black ceramic tint is worth the purchase. I noticed the temperature check before and after. Definitely will be doing the front windshield and PPF. The owner is also very professional and nice. He wasn't too pushy when I decided to do the front windows only when I get there after finding out it already have existing tints on all the rear windows.. He also checked my vehicle and make sure the installer fix the deficiency he noticed. At first, there was soap solutions left underneath the tints which slowly faded away. There is still some left on both of the front windows and I will wait and check how it looks the next few days and update it here.

Rapid originally installed my full body Xpel Stealth Paint Protection Film back in March, 2022. I waited to write a review until after the summer. I wanted to see how the film, Rapid’s installation, and weekly car washes would hold up to LA’s hot summer days. All my car washes were done at a neighborhood car wash business and were hand washed at $45.00 each. Xpel doesn’t recommend high pressure water hitting the edges of the film. Keep this in mind if you normally take your car through an automated car wash. Before I chose Rapid, I compared reviews and prices of other authorized Xpel installers. One place quoted me $6,800.00 for the full body. I asked him if this price was negotiable because my car is a small hatchback with a sunroof, in fact the entire roof would not be wrapped because it's not painted. He said “no” and I hung up! Rapid quoted me $4800.00 and I said, “When can you start?” So, did I make the right decision going with Rapid? Yes, I did. Six month later, not a single issue. No peeling, no bubbles, nothing whatsoever. Looks just as new as the first day. The car was promised in seven days and completed on time. I highly recommend Rapid Window Tinting for all your wrapping needs. Ask for David. He won’t do you wrong.

This place is the best and quick tinting windows spot. Their life time warranty window tint is great too. They were able to replace my tints, made a appointment, stayed there an hr. It was complete! Definitely was fast but my back windshield looks terrible. **update** They fixed by back windshield it looks great and even changed it a shade lighter at no cost. Only thing I will complain about is my car has such a strong alcohol smell it’s horrible, had a jacket in my trunk that was soaked in rubbing alcohol. And another thing I will add is the owner bothered me all day to take down this review or revise it which I’ll give him the credit of being nice and fixing it for me, but I wouldn’t have to write a bad review if the job was done correctly in the first place 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went here for all the praise this place got, I counted the reviews to see if they matched with the total reviews and was off by 20 but I didn't mind as other places delete theirs by 40 or so. Anyways, I got 20% ceramic tint on 5 windows for $345 I think it was. I waited a week like the guy said to not roll my windows and wash the car. After the week, I washed the car and noticed some air bubbles on the lower left and little window on the passenger side. I brushed it off as it's something not really noticable. A week or so went by again and now today I wased the car and noticed more air bubbles towards the middle back. You can see the bubbles and then a few more towards the lower left of the picture. Sadly I'm disappointed having to put my car in their trust and paying that amount for ceramic tint for these results. Edit 4 days after this review: I went back to see what could have been done with my issue after contacting the owner. I was told that the little bubbles are a result of dust. I know of this and was told that they can remove the tint but the same outcome will happen. I found this immediately false as my first car, a 2013 Nissan is clear free of bubbles at 5% all around. These small bubbles are a result of the person who worked on it not being careful. After arriving home, I discovered a few more small bubbles on my right back passenger window. Nothing was done on this day 8/27/19

I decided on the 3m crystalline tint for my new Tesla S. I had David do all windows, rear window and glass roof. I told him I needed fast service. He told me to leave my car there and completed the job that afternoon. Everyone there was professional, nice and accommodating. The job came out perfect. I've had taken 4 of my cars here in the past. They do a fantastic job in the past but today I took an older car to get the ceramic tint done and drove 30 minutes just to tell me they wont do it. Only 2001 and up because my car wouldn't be in their pre-cut system and they don't free hand cut windows. What kind of tint shop doesn't free hand cut? If you have an older car I would avoid this place. They do tint, wrap, ppf and have a school, but doesn't know how to cut.

Great place to go if you’re trying to get the best deal on tinting your car. They were very straight forward and knew what they were doing. I even had a small issue and they fixed it the next day no problem! The owner, David is a great guy and professional at what he does. I did a lot of shopping around and this place was definitely the best when it came to value and quality, none of that cheap bubbly tint. Ive had an amazing experience at Rapid Window Tint. I already had a little experience tinting cars so I took the 5 day in person tinting course with Felipe to sharpen up my skills. Learned some new tricks. David was kind enough to print out 3m pre cuts for me so i can practice tinting my own car in one of there bays and with the help of Felipe I successfully tinted my entire car. Ending up getting my certificate of completion at the end of the week and was hired on the spot to start the week after! Its been a week so far and David and the team are amazing at what they do. My week couldn’t have gone any better.

Rapid Car Window Tinting is the best car window tinting place you can possibly go to in the Hollywood area. I went in to tint my 5 door Honda Fit, and was quoted $200 for 3M Carbon Films from other tinting locations. Although their prices were slightly higher since they use better quality films, the owner, David, gave no hesitation in matching the price I was quoted from other places. He even honored the additional Yelp discount on top of the price matching! The tinting itself took about an hour. David and Jose did a fantastic job on every one of the windows. Their attention to detail was pristine. Could immediately feel the temperature difference in my car. The blazing sun did not feel nearly as hot as it used to. Overall: great shop, friendly owner, and stellar experience. Highly recommend! UPDATE: I had to return to Rapid Window Tinting as the window rubber seal got jammed against the rear windows after first rolling them down. The shop immediately tried to remedy the seal. Additionally, they gave me a great deal on the upgraded ceramic films! Phenomenal customer service. If you've been considering getting your windows tinted, don't hesitate to give Rapid Window Tinting a call!

Came here on a whim because it's close to my home. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were very polite, very direct with pricing and very professional. They do full warranty and I'm glad to say that when I noticed one of my tints was not aligned perfectly, so i came back ....No questions asked, they pulled it off and are putting on a new one right now. This is a great place to get your windows tinted. I was looking for a place to tint my windows since I was leaving on a trip and had to get the windows done ASAP. I called several places and they didn’t want to take me in because they were “busy” When I called here, David which I believe is the owner, told me that he had a full schedule but if I toke the car he would accommodate me and get them done. I toke my car and within 3 hours he had it done and really to go. I’ve gotten window tints in other places but non have been as great as this one. The prices are very competitive and the work they do is awesome. David is really chill and guarantees his work 100%. If you have any questions he will answer them. This will be my go to shop when it comes to window tints and now I’m looking to get a paint protection job he offers to my car.

Great overall experience. Called and got in the next morning, only took a few hours and was happy with how it turned out. Friendly staff and great customer service. I tinted my Tesla model Y, and the only issue I had was an air bubble in the corner due to the windows having to open a bit every time you open the door, and after informing them they agreed to fix at no cost and with no resistance. 10/10 experience!

The team at Rapid is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and efficient. I was impressed that they told me of an issue that was common with tinting my car, and that they didn’t want to move forward with the tint if it might damage my car (until I got the issue fixed). I recommend this place 10/10. After making a few calls, David answer the phone and sounded the most professional. All the other shops lacked of energy and didn’t bother meeting my expectations. I was looking for a ceramic tint and after being educated by David, I was able to come to a decision of going with crystalline. It’s not too dark and blocks the sun 99%. You could see the sun but not feel any heat. Overall David is the man. He makes sure everything is top notch. I will definitely recommend you to my family/friends.
