Sunburst Windows completed a pretty extensive window replacement job here east of Honolulu in Kailua. It was so professional and they did a great job. We home school our 7 kids so managing this big project was going to be a challenge we thought. They communicated with us throughout the process keeping the challenge minimal. Their workers came in uniformed and were very friendly to be around. They were respectful of our belongings and time. They covered everything they thought need covering. I thought how they created their work spaces inside the home keeping the dust out was awesome and functional. My kids loved talking to the workers while they were here. These windows look great and was a nice upgrade to the home. Thank you Sunburst Windows for making this experience a great one! I will for sure recommend your company when it comes to Honolulu window replacement companies.

Thank you Sunburst for the installation of our beautiful Milgard windows. We finally took the plunge and replaced those old jealousies with a safer and easier to clean windows. The installation was fast and the crew were very thorough from beginning to end and took special care to keep everything clean. Everything went as expected. We knew our glass door was going to break anytime so we order with advance. Took the time it was supposed to, and when it arrived, they came and did it very professionally. Did not even noticed it happened OTHER that we finally had a NICE AND AMAZING DOOR (and window). They even came back to paint the trim to make it amazing. I know is was a little more that buying a door from HD and installed it, but the service, the quality and all the process make it worth

I've been asked to write a 5 star review, but cannot, because the work is not done. We have paid in full. In fact, I'm sitting here at 1130am waiting for contractors who should have arrived at 9am to finish trimwork on one of the two sliding doors they installed. The big picture timeline for this project was estimated at 6 months, most of that being the time for the doors to be produced and shipped. That turned into 8 months, then scheduling for installation took almost 2 months. One screen door arrived bent in multiple spots. That is estimated to take another 2 months for replacement. Not the place to go if you value timeliness or dependability. So far, since I was asked for a review, I would say it looks ok. Perhaps the company should not ask for reviews, let alone 5 stars, before the work is done.

I replaced all 20 windows on my home with design and recommendations by Larry and Ryan. They were both friendly and professional and made sure the job was done right from ordering, measuring, design to installation. The window installation crew, of Afa, Kekoa and Will were fantastic. They were on the job for five consecutive days and were personable, and caring. They would consult with me while they were installing to make sure I was satisfied with the fit and look of the windows. I truly felt that they cared about their work that they were concerned that I would be satisfied with the work. We are about a quarter way through my whole house window and patio door replacement project with Renewal by Andersen Hawaii. Wanted to provide a quick update. We have renovated many homes over 40 years and worked with many crews. This installation crew is highly professional craftsmen who are the best we ever dealt with. They are finished carpenters not window installers. Their work is truly amazing. We got lots of quotes before selected Andersen. We selected Andersen for several reasons; quality of product and warranty. Their warranty (been in business selling windows forever and will be here in the future if there is a problem.) In my last house, when I had an issue, the company was out of business and so was the warranty. Won’t be case with Andersen. The price was fair, the windows/doors were superior to vinyl or typical replacement windows, the installation crew is phenomenal, great support staff and a warranty I can count on. I highly recommend them for your next window/door project. You will not be disappointed.

I replaced 17 aluminum glass louvre windows in my home- original to the home in 1982. I am very happy with the new slider windows and Larry provided all the answers to my questions about the product and price. I contracted with Renewal by Andersen to replace my 2-panel sliding glass door with a much larger 4-panel Andersen SGD. Larry responded quickly and developed a comprehensive quote. Although the door took a long time to arrive in Hawaii, once it did, the install crew was professional and efficient. They were very careful to protect the house interior during the construction. It was an extensive job requiring a new header, and external trim work. Larry kept in touch throughout the project and responded quickly to my messages. The end result is just gorgeous!

We went to the annual BIA Home Building & Remodeling Show and we discovered Renewal by Andersen!! A diamond patterned grid caught our eye and would match perfectly as a replacement window alongside our existing diamond pattern windows. Larry discussed our options and meticulously measured our existing windows to make sure the custom Andersen windows would fit. Being an older home with settling and off square windows did not deter the installers. They took the time to make sure any existing problems would be taken care of before they installed the new windows. Ryan and Frank are to be commended! After researching window companies for months I discovered these guys. They responded to all my questions immediately and professionally. Their product is honestly amazing! My entire house has been refitted with their gorgeous, dual pane anderson windows and doors, and I am honestly in awe of how amazing they are. Before having Anderson windows I could often hear street traffic but now, nothing. The SmartSun windows allow the most gorgeous light in while blocking those damaging UV rays and you can actually see the difference. I highly recommend Larry and promise you, you won’t find a better company or a better product.

We had Renewal By Andersen Hawaii remove and replace all 31 of the windows in our home (many of them quite large). What a dramatic difference to finally get rid of the cheap single pane windows installed by the developer when our house was built 18 years ago, and what a big improvement to the appearance of the house! The RBA composite windows are outstanding: very thick, solid and substantial, unlike the many much flimsier vinyl windows being marketed by others; the RBA work great; cut down the solar radiation dramatically and lowered our air conditioning bill significantly. The biggest advantage of the RBA over all of the vinyl alternatives is that they can provide a solid color other than white throughout the whole window. White windows would have looked awful on the earth-tone colors of our house, and all of the vinyl competitors, even when offering a different color on the outside, still leave many portions of the window frames a glaring white visible from the outside. RBA is in a whole different class, and quite frankly, all by itself in that class. Our Terratone color windows are beautiful. They were not cheap but the value was superb. Compliments to the installation crew who were not only able to do a new construction type of replacement of both window frames and windows (rather than simply leaving the old corroding frames in the wall and inserting new panels in them like many companies are selling), with all new flashing and sealant, and all new window trim on the exterior, but was also able to build out shadow box frames on the interior to allow re-installation of our plantation shutters. The old windows were less than an inch thick while the new RBA windows were a solid 4.5 inches thick. This did not leave room to reinstall the plantation shutters inside the wall recess. New sills with a shadow box constructed of brick molding around the opening, however, provided the necessary depth to allow re-installation of the plantation shutters with the same inset look. I highly recommend RBAH. The quality is superb.
