This past year Southeastern Door & Window replaced our less-secure French doors on the front of our house with a single, solid, alder-wood door with a speak-easy. In addition to our new front door, they also replaced all of our original 20-year-old windows with smooth-operating vinyl, dual-pane impact resistant windows. I cannot say enough about the team of professionals that made this project happen. Stephanie was a pleasure to work with and took care of the entire project, from carefully measuring our old windows and door, to staying on top of material delivery dates and keeping me informed about when her team of technicians could be expected to be at my house. We did have a couple of glitches during the install but Stephanie quickly fixed things and kept the projects on track. It did take several months for our door and windows to arrive but they were all custom made to fit our house, so I had no problem with that. In fact, all of our new windows and door fit precisely, a direct result of the extremely careful measuring Southeastern did at the start of the project. I would happily hire Southeastern Door and Window in the future. I also have a neighbor, Kent - he had his windows replaced a couple of years ago by Southeastern and he is still very happy with his windows. I've attached a couple of photos to give you an idea of how things turned out. My wife and I especially love our new front door. Bob in Woolmarket

Beautiful store nice and neat, All the associates were very kind and courteous and helpful. What surprise me the most Was The store owner is very personable And easy to talk to. Did not know he was the owner until after he left, If I could nominate that store for being the best store on the coast I would. Customer service outstanding.

I WANT COMMEND THE WORK THAT YOUR INSTALLERS PERFORMED AT 300 N. BEACH BLVD., BAY ST. LOUIS, MS. RECENTLY. THEY WERE EFFICIENT, ORGANIZED AND DID A DAY AND A HALF JOB IN ONE DAY. APPLYING WINDOWS AND TRIM TO ORIGINAL STUCCO WALLS ISN'T EASY. IF I WAS STILL IN FULL CONSTRUCTION BUISINESS, I WOULD TRY TO STEAL THEM FROM YOU. Enlisted this business to replace a door and windows on my house. Took about a year to get the door and windows in. They never ordered the screens that were on the contract so that took another 3 months to come in AND I had to follow up every 2 weeks. Shannon kept telling me they have everything in the system and that they would contact me as soon as they arrive but they changed their system and some point and my screens were in the warehouse for weeks without anyone noticing or contacting me. They only looked when I said enough is enough - otherwise, they would have happily taken my money and walked off into the sunset. They kept blaming everything on covid - 1.5y into it. Truth is, they just took bigger projects. The windows look great from the inside looking out but the trim work on the exterior needs attention. The installers cut the trim about an inch short. I called SouthEastern months ago to look at the shotty work - a guy came out and agreed it needed to be redone but I haven't heard from them since Halloween (which is going on 3 months as of time of writing). I called several times but can NEVER get a hold of anyone to address this problem. I also requested quotes for several other door/window projects but never heard back. I found another contractor to replace the remainder and he was really great to work with - DM if you want a reference. If you're a homeowner just looking to make improvements on your home, you DO NOT want to use this company. Maybe they're good for contractors or builders - def not for homeowners. 2 windows (Anderson Architectural) cost approx. $11K and the door was around $5K. So, 2 windows and 1 door - this is not the type of work or service I would expect when purchasing premium products. 1 star for the windows, 1 star for the door After all these months, the crew finally came back to redo the trim and I'm revising my rating b/c of that. It would be 3.5 stars but, you know, can't give half a star here.

Southeastern Door & window gave me an expected delivery date after I placed order I paid half of invoice then. Then they called a couple of days before delivery to remind me they were coming and time. They arrived on time, introduced themselves And started working. They were very professional, put down blankets to contain any miscelaneous debris inside window. The new window. Is fantastic! Not only does it look great, but is sturdy and matched the rest of windows. When they finished they leaned up inside and outside.. Then thanked me for the business and offered to help with any other needs . I paid balance of invoice. Now we are completely happy customers!

Southeastern just got finished with my install and it turned out great. After our sales guy left for another opportunity, Jennifer, the operations manager personally took on our account and kept us informed on the window and door delivery schedule to the absolute best of her ability. There were supply chain issues with the window manufacturer that we chose (PGT) but it was out of Southeastern's control. Couldn't be happier with them as a company, always professional and courteous and so was the install team. Would recommend them for sure!

A few years back when we decided to replace our windows and doors in the house, our choice was Southeastern Door. This is a decision we have never regretted. The front door handle had broken and needed repairs. Upon contacting Southeastern Door for help, they gave us the same respect and support for repairing the door handle as replacing the windows and doors all those years ago. This was impressive! Kip worked quickly and efficiently in diagnosing the issue and had it fixed in record time. The same professionalism was demonstrated on the smaller job as the more costly job. It is Southeastern Door after all, so we should not have been surprised.

The installers were friendly, on-time, professional and when they were finished they cleaned up and you wouldn’t have known they were ever there! The whole experience was wonderful! The sales staff, the guy that measured, the guys that installed, all were so kind and so professional. The day of install, he wasn’t 100% sure about the way the plantation shutters should go due to the size of my windows. He called Sheri (sp?) and she made a special trip to my house to make sure he knew how she intended the install to go. I ABSOLUTELY love the shutters and my new kitchen window! I wish I had the $ to do several other things! I would like to mention Jennifer too, she made personal calls regarding COVID issues and made sure my appt didn’t get pushed back one minute longer than necessary. I appreciate everyone involved with the process and I LOVE the products!

Primary Solution

Wooden doors look awesome when they are installed on day1, they are terrible after that. Dont every buy one unless it completely protected by shade. I loved ours, but they are just not practical if your door gets any sun.
