It took a long time to get this door that was installed today. The installer, Brandon did an excellent job. We noted that he performed several tests to ensure the door fit perfectly and was weather tight. He took time to explain to us that the door we bought was not just pretty; it has a lifetime guarantee; and that the manufacturer chose only trusted distributors to sell their doors. It’s good to know that our wait was worth it! Brandon is an excellent representative for your company!

The installation went perfectly! Absolutely no complaints on their work. The product is gorgeous but the time and the communication have been very disappointing. We were told we would have regular updates but that has not happened and the only time we hear anything is when there is bad news with the latest being our product was not in fact present for installation which in fact was not told to us until the very morning of our scheduled install. We received a call a week prior to install stating the product was in and installation could finally occur after our 6 month wait. We got a confirmation the day before and a call the morning of to let us know the window trim would not be available in the bedroom but the patio door was ready and could still be installed. I asked that the product on hand be installed because it was being replaced due to damage and with the upcoming cold weather it was a necessity. She assured me it was cosmetics that would be missing. It was not explained that the windows surrounding the patio door were also missing trim pieces. It was assured to me that the trim would be installed in about 3 weeks. The windows and patio door with its trim were installed beautifully. When quality assurance called the following morning she was unclear about how long the missing product would take and was Ill prepared to handle my discrepancy. I’m waiting for the office to get in contact with me to find out how long the product will in fact actually take to be completed.

Scott & Adam from Grandy Pines Construction did a fantastic job. They removed 3 large windows and the casings and replaced them with beautiful new windows and casings! We will definitely use them again when we buy more windows and doors in the future!

Really excited about our new door! Our techs Bob and Marty did a great job on the install, despite the odd configuration and crookedness of our 1950s house. The door looks WAY better than our old one and opens/closes so smoothly & securely. The door manufacturing and delivery process did take a while, but Rusco was great about providing updates and got the install scheduled as soon as the door was available. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding experience with Minnesota Rusco. Cody, my sales rep, was transparent through the entire process and realistic on what I should expect. They played no pricing games with me, and I got exactly what I expected. Dmitriy Gumenyuk and his team installed my windows and did a great job. They were courteous and did a great job. The cleanup the did was excellent, and he was happy to apply extra caulking to an area I was concerned about when they finished up. Very pleased overall, and I'd be happy to do business with them again.

Alex and his crew were amazing and professional. Job was difficult being a 101 year old house where NOTHING is straight and they handled it like champs! -Edit Siding project now finished as well. Outstanding job despite multiple delays related to temperature, material availability and crew availability. Wintertime is rough time to install so anyone that goes through with a winter installation should keep in mind there are many unforseen things that can happen. Rusco took care of us at the end.

We had our side door and frame fixed and Rusco put in a new door and storm door. Brandon Dickson installed it and did a fantastic job! He spoke with us at the beginning of the install and made us feel comfortable with the plan. When it was done, he walked us through the features and information about the doors given how air tight it was. We were blown away with the craftsmanship, since we have an old house and Brandon had to do a lot to get the door and frame to Rusco standards. Impeccable work and great customer service! Rusco was not the cheapest option, but it was the best. Between the consultation through the date of install, Rusco stayed in contact and provided updates without us having to track them down. 100% recommend.

This review will cover two different projects that took place three weeks apart. For the first, Scott and Tyler were very professional and dedicated in their work. This was a time-consuming window installation project that took over eight hours. They were here a few minutes early and throughout the day's work provided explanations and updates as needed. They were able to get everything completed except for some interior trim that needed custom size pieces that was not discovered until installation day. I would recommend their work in the future. My new windows look gorgeous! For the second review, Bob and Marty were very punctual and got my new front door installed in an efficient but thorough manner. Highly recommend them in the future.

Two brothers from Rusco did 9 windows for us. They were extremely professional. Very communicative. They were extremely clean. Drip clothes all of the floors inside our home. The caulking job looks perfect. They started at 8am and were done by 2pm. I will be requesting the brothers to do the other half of our windows next fall. Highly recommend these guys.

There was far less stress and chaos than I had anticipated for this type of work, replacing 6 windows in a near-50 yr old home. Misha Sasha and crew were tremendously efficient and didn't leave any mess behind. The triple pane windows are beautiful! Misha showed us how to open, close and open for washing, and I was in awe of how easy it works. I actually look forward to washing them in the future, especially those on the upper level. Scott and Tyler arrived at the scheduled time. They laid down protective tarps in my house to protect carpet, floors. They setup scaffolding being careful not to damage shrubbery. They removed the existing window and installed the new one. They also installed all new trim, interior and exterior. Scott showed my how the windows operate and how to remove screens. Tyler vacuumed up the mess and left my home as they found it. I am very pleased with the entire process of working with Minnesota Rusco from start to finish.

I had my kitchen cabinets refaced, drawers completely remade and countertops, sink and faucet replaced. They said it would take a few months. It took what seemed like about a month. It went so fast! All of the installers were super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Even the plumber they sent was absolutely fantastic to work with. They explained everything as they went, were always on time and cleaned up very well afterward. My kitchen looks amazing! I can't say enough about how much I love the work. :)

From the minute they walked in they were friendly, professional, and helpful. They were more thorough in sealing the windows than the original contractor. They were very knowledgeable on the windows and the installation and they took the time to tell us how and why things were done. Kevin and Mike were both at my place today to repair an entry door that was installed on 1/13/22 that was no longer functional. Both of them worked together by taking the door out to square everything up again and to re-install the door so it is once again functional. Overall, we are satisfied with the end result. The installers - Misha & Sasha - did a great job and everything looks fresh, clean, and tidy - FIVE stars all the way! The windows themselves are triple-pane and we can already notice a difference in the efficiency of the windows. Dealing with the Business Office with Minnesota Rusco is frustrating. Best advice I can give - if you have questions, call your sales rep. The Business Office has never returned a call, voicemail, or email. Our sales rep on the other hand - he was very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and on top of this whole project (Thank you, Jonathan M!)

We had three bathrooms remodeled. Due to supply chain issues, it was 9 months before the installation started. Customer Service kept us informed of updated deliveries and answered all questions we had. The installation started on time and progressed smoothly to completion. Brian Birch, the installer, went over and above to resolve any issues that occurred during the installation. He kept us informed of what to expect on a daily basis. We were impressed with his craftsmanship and were pleased with how the bathrooms turned out.

In working with Rusco, we met Dennis, he installed our new kitchen cabinets. We were told 4-5 8+ hours days to do the work. Dennis explained what was going to happen and actually did the work in 4 days. He stayed extra hours when needed and made sure things were secure for the evening and ready for the next day. He set up a work space in our garage and encased the kitchen area to make it contained. We had access to the refrigerator when needed. All in all, a very positive working experience. We love our new cabinets! Thank You!

I used Rusco to update an existing bathroom. The installers David and Juan were great. They were on time, worked especially hard and cleaned up any mess they created. They are a great team! They are the reason for the 5 star rating. Rusco customer care isn't the best, they are unresponsive and are having difficulty arranging for installation in a timely manner. I waited 8 months for the installation. I know everyone is struggling with staff but feel the situation could have been handled better and more efficiently. Messages were left for the project manager that were never returned. Some questions went unanswered. The subcontractor for the electric left a mess and couldn't get out of my house fast enough. When they installed the fan, they left about 3 feet of hanging venting in my laundry room. They drilled holes and just left the debris. I had used Rusco several years ago and found them to be exceptional company at that time, I believe that has changed.

This wasn't a an easy job, but the installer Brandon Dickson was spectacular. Awesome work and when he left it was as if he hadn't been there at all, except we had a new door. Everything was neat and clean. The only reason he didn't go riding off heroically into the sunset was because he got the door installed in our old, old house in a timely manner way, way before sunset.

We used Minnesota Rusco and their subcontractor, A&R Construction Company, for remodeling a main bathroom, the master bathroom and the laundry room in our townhome. John and Zack from A&R Construction were fantastic! They were on time every day for the three weeks that it took, they were meticulous about the work they did, they went above and beyond in fixing little things that we wouldn't even have realized needed fixing if they hadn't said something. We definitely recommend Minnesota Rusco and A&R Construction Co. for bathroom remodels. As to price, we feel that the job was not cheap but then neither was the workmanship cheap so we would say we got what we paid for. We did have to wait nine months from the time we contracted with Minnesota Rusco until the job was started but this was in 2021 and the pandemic was still having an effect on the supply chain and manufacturers.

The installation of our windows went great. Scott & Tyler were both easy to work with and did an amazing job. They went over some issues we had with the old windows(original to the house) and how they would do the new window install correctly. Windows and casing/trim were pre-made and ready to install - however - 3 windows' trim work required a more customized solution which was pulled off perfectly. They did not cut corners in their work, they took the time necessary to do it right. One concern i have is with management and accounting. While waiting for the loan process (not through rusco) , we received calls from Rusco that were downright nasty and rude! We had no control over how long the loan process would take and they were on board with this and in touch with the lender since the beginning. They were only focused on how they were getting their money. Even after things were in motion and windows scheduled for install, another person called to ask how we were paying, which made it clear there was no communication amongst staff at Rusco. They never called during the installation like they claimed they would to see how things were going. Make sure you do everything in writing with rusco or they will say it never happened! (good advice for any business transactions) Other than that, looks like a great product (haven't had them even a month yet) and great installation crew.

I submitted a service request for a new screen door and storm door that were installed recently. Mike P. was right on time. He was very helpful, informative and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the Insulation issue with cold air coming in on the storm door. Sealed around where water should not be able to come in around screen door frame, unable to text, due to freezing temperatures. Seals on screen door frame were cut short during install. Mike requested necessary parts to fix. Mike was able to answer other questions I had, I would highly recommend Mike.

Very solid work. Did a great job of explaining what they did, how the doors work and clean up. Would highly recommend! Would also like to add that we needed to have a tech come out and make an adjustment to the handle on one of the doors-Tyler H came out and got us all fixed up-another 5 stars!

I used Minnesota Rusco to replace eight windows in my house. The installers, Pavel and Vlad Kosovon (and a third whose name I forget!) Were at my place at 8:15 sharp, set up and got to work promptly. They were extremely efficient and professional, and had the project completed and cleaned up before 7:00 P.M. The windows look great and are a huge improvement. I'd absolutely use these installers on future projects.

My experience was mostly great. The Rusco team kept me informed of supply delays and updated on ETAs. My one complaint would be that I had to call three times in order to speak to someone in accounting when I had questions, my first two calls went days without response. Once the supplies were in, the installation was quickly scheduled and handled well. Dave Loehrer Construction Inc was efficient and respectful and did a lovely job on our new tub/shower.

Because we have very high expectations (and standards) we had MN Rusco come back probably 10 times over four months to fix or replace many components of the new kitchen. Everyone talks a good game, but I happen to believe that you don’t really know a company’s customer service until you see how they handle a problem. In this regard, MN Rusco was excellent. Their sole focus was to do whatever it took to make us happy; and now we love our kitchen. Yes, it was disappointing that it took longer than expected to get the job done. But, would I use them again – absolutely!

We have had drafty windows for so long that it’s now very noticeable how much energy we were wasting! We always had to have the thermostat set at 75 during winter, but now I had to bump it down to 72 due to it being to warm! We could always here the traffic from the busy road near by, but not anymore!! The guys that installed everything were very friendly and made sure that everything worked and looked perfect!

I feel the whole process from ordering the project to installation was relatively pain free. We signed the contract in the middle of January 2022 and installation took place in October. The company kept us informed during the initial phase when the components were being manufactured. I think installation could have occurred sooner. A text we received in August sounded like the components had arrived and a scheduler would give a call to schedule installation. We didn't hear anything so I called in September. Installation was quickly scheduled. This may sound like a long time, but we were in no rush to get the job done. The installers were friendly and patient with us. They explained the work to be done each day. No job goes unpunished though. Unbeknownst to everyone, the removal of the tile on the wall exposed concrete and wire mesh. This obviously required extra effort, but the removal was still completed the first day. The concrete extended under the floor linoleum. It was intended to leave the floor untouched, but due to the removal of concrete, the gap between the linoleum and the finished walls with sheetrock was wider than expected. The molding I supplied did not cover the gap completely so we ended up putting in new flooring. The field manager came and the solution was remedied that day. As it turned out, the new floor looks better than the old floor and the finished look was great. The completed job looks professional. I would have MN Rusco do another job if ever needed.

The bathroom remodeling required a number of skills, and Doug brought them here. He and his brother, John Borgeson, made a great team and we are very pleased with the end results and the means by which they performed the remodeling with such minor inconvenience. Also worth mentioning was the fact that it was a bitterly cold week, and it didn't hamper them in the least.

Alex and his crew did a high quality job installing windows for our whole house. They were friendly and overall very professional. Editing this review to reflect the ongoing service after 5 months. Communication between the various teams at Rusco just isn’t that great. We had an open service ticket immediately after install because a picture window on our front bow was broken on arrival along with a couple incorrectly made items. They opted to leave the window wrapping off (exposing all the excess insulation) because they weren’t sure whether they’d replace the glass pack or the entire window. After multiple calls trying to get information about wrapping the window no one seemed to really know what was going on. The install team (for the incorrectly ordered windows) and a separate service team (to replace the broken glass both saw the unwrapped window and couldn’t believe it was left that way. Finally after that episode the original installers came back and finished the wrapping. All this took somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. The windows look nice on the house (all the outstanding issues took about 4-5 months to resolve) and the customer service team is pretty easy to work with. We have seen Kevin and Tyler twice from their field service team and they have been excellent and very knowledgeable. However there are major issues in communication and coordination between all the internal ”headquarters” teams at Rusco and it’s just left us feeling like the entire experience was average.

Overall, I’m disappointed in how long it too to have this project finished. I placed by order in September 2021, the windows were installed last spring (March 31), the door was installed the Friday before Labor Day and the repairs/punch list items were finally completed last Friday, Oct. 14. That’s too long!

MN Rustco uses pressure sales tactics to get you to sign the contract now. If I hadn’t already had other bids for the bath remodel in hand it would have been difficult. They also tried to collect the final payment days before the final work on the contract was completed. Note it was completed. Work: demo existing wall title and flooring, replace the tub, vinyl floor tile and Koehler Lux Stone tub surround. Leave walls paint ready. They were up front that the work couldn’t start for 5 months, but it took nearly 8. Calls to/from customer care resulted in mixed messages, one call to me claiming they had all the parts except some shower shelves and therefore could start the work, upon call back customer care claimed the other call was in error and materials were not available! Poor communication by the project coordinator: I had no clue when the next subcontractor would be reaching out, again told to waits at least 7 days before calling back. Also, failed to notify subcontractor about additional work needed due to demo work damages. (One phone call did get that resolved quickly.) Materials used were good but the finished look was poor. Corner trim showed gaps where water/soap could build up and it just look cheap/bad. It took complaints and demands of a solution to get Rustco to agree to put another solution’s corners into the surround. While not matching it did match the top and side trim pieces in basic white. Jason Storm, the installer, did great work with what he had to work with. I would give his work 5 stars. It is the rest of the experience with Rustco that I wasn’t happy with.

The Best thing MN Rusco did was hiring FMF Construction to do the instillation of our remodeled bathroom. Both Matt and Troy were great. Knew what they were dong, Worked hard with their craftsmanship to make sure everything came out perfect. It was an enjoyment to have them in out house. The material we had put in the bathroom is very nice. Now, what I so far, have not been happy with is the communication at MN Rusco it self. A project that was made in the first few days of May 2022, and was told that it would be put in in Sept 2022, just was done now, Jan 2023. I understand at this time it may take longer to get the items. When I got a call the beginning of Sept, I thought they were going to set a date for installation. I was wrong it was a call stating they were right on tract for them to call me in Nov to set up install in Dec. Sorry but to me that is not right on tract. I then received this same call every two weeks until the begging of Nov. The calls stopped at that time. Beginning of Dec I called to ask where things were at. I was told everything was in I would get a call soon to set up install. I received that call closer to the end of Dec. Next, the toilet was marked on our slip to be removed. No we said we would remove the toilet but we still needed one. FMF construction did get it picked up and in before they were finished. We are waiting for our lights as they were not sent as there was a mixup on them. This all left me with mixed feelings about MN Rusco. Again Hiring FMF Construction to do the instillation was the best thing they did. I am so happy we had them in our home doing the a wonderful job on our bathroom. They do take pride in their work. The worst thing is the communication at MN Rusco main office with their lack of communication. Now the only thing I have left is to paint my walls this weekend.

The Smith Bros did the installation. They made the experience enjoyable and completed replacement of 2 patio doors and windows in 3 rooms in a timely manner. When the doors were installed the installers noted that one of the rollers looked defective and placed a work order for the repairs. Mike was quick and also did a few adjustments to make it easier for me to lock the doors. Will definitely do more business with Minnesota Rusco. Mike P returned to correct a problem with the lock on one of our new sliding doors. He also installed the stop kick on the 2nd door so that we can lock the door in a partially open position. The handle turned out to be defective so Mike replaced it with a different handle so that we could use the door while waiting on a new matching handle. Mike P and Tyler came out today to install the new door handle and adjusted the lock so that it works smoothly. Thanks guys!

We had some issues with our sliding screen for the patio door. Mike P came and made the proper adjustments so it would stay on track. He also installed locks for the screen doors that were not put on initially. A new screen for a double window was added to replace the single one put in initially. We also noticed in three screens that were too tight and pulled the edges in which could be an entry for bugs. New ones will be ordered. This is a manufacturer issue and not Rusco’s fault. Mike P is great to work with. He does it correctly and efficiently. No time wasted in ensuring we were satisfied.

A new front door was installed in Dec. 2020. I noticed snow and cold wind enter into the inside doorway. The door did not close at all unless I used a screwdriver to assist the lock to fit properly into the frame. A quarter of an inch gap allowed cold air into the inside entry. After numerous calls to Rusco over time, this year Kevin was sent out to diagnose the situation and come up with a solution. He promised he would come back with a plan. He made good on his promise and brought Mike and they teamed up and "made a square peg fit into the round hole". It took detailed measuring, brainstorming, and patience and finally we had a door first did not line up, now fit tight, properly, the latch fitted properly and best of all the Storm Door had the tight fit to keep bugs out in Summer and Snow in Winter. Wow, I am amazed at Kevin and Mikes Team work. They even took time out to reassure Maggie, Border Terrier. Answer and explained all my questions and left their work area - inside and out- very clean. Our first installation of Rusco windows was in April of 2021. We waited a very long time because of the pandemic to get them. The Smith Brothers were our installers and they did an excellent job! We had over half the windows in our house replace, along with a front door and storm door. The salesman was spot on with the exterior door color and choice of Awning window in my kitchen. We have very large living room windows, and the Smith brothers did a great job with the demo and installation for a very large job. They were only missing one piece of trim around one window, which Rusco had to come back TWICE to remedy, because the first time the stain did not match what was already installed. The wood grain in one of the sills also is sub par to the others by comparison. QC at the factory needs to double check the product going out for what the price we are paying. Love my windows overall!

After a 7 month + wait for our front entry door we were pleased to be contacted about its recent arrival & that the quality control people were checking it over for order accuracy b4 scheduling its installation. The installation went without a hitch. Bob & Marty did an excellent job and cleaned up after themselves b4 reviewing the installation with me. Here's where this experience goes sour. The door was ordered with full side lights on each side. It came with 1/2 side lights. The inside door hardware was in error as well. Now we understand Rusco doesn't manufacture the doors, but to be told that a quality assurance check was being made b4 the installation was scheduled, tells us someone is asleep at the switch. Customer care has been contacted, but know time frame given to correct the issues nor any indication anyone will be out to look over the problems. Neighbors on either side of us have had their front entry doors replaced in the last year by other name brand companies. Both turned out miserably & that is why we had hoped that Rusco was going to be the stand out company. So much for that thought, guess this is a pervasive issue within the industry that the consumer has to live with.

We selected Rusco for three reasons. They've been around for decades; they only sell top quality windows and they use their own installers. Our installers were a father and son team, dad has been with them over 25 years and the son for 7 and that tells us something about the company. Our windows came with a 100% lifetime warranty on the frame, glass and screens and the warranty is transferable one time. They're beautifully molded vinyl, no wraps, no coverings and they have triple pane glass. I was going to help them carry the windows into the house but good grief I was shocked at how heavy they were, so I just stayed out of the way. Now, keep in mind that you will pay a premium price for that quality, professionalism and warranty but you likely know that going into this anyway. Do we have any regrets... nope, not one. Covid and slowness of Materials slowed my project. The team doing the initial remodeling (Matt, Troy and Wyatt) were excellent. They demonstrated good working knowledge of their task. These were lack of baseboard materials, questions regarding electrical routing to supply medicine chest lamps and the delivery of the wrong medicine chest. These the "crew" either addressed or instructed me on procedure. These problems were then addressed by Rusco.

The kitchen remodeling project went very well, the only issue we have is with the counter top installation which has not been completed yet. But it's an outfit that sub contracts with Rusco so it's not their problem. Otherwise we are very happy with the work they did and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Last year we had all new windows and siding , as well as garage doors and gutters installed by Rusco and were very happy with the work so we decided to use them for the kitchen as well and we are not disappointed. Update to my reviews; our kitchen still isn't finished, cabinet doors weren't sealed and a door for the pantry hasn't been delivered to Rusco. The veneer on the cabinets also hasn't been sealed against cooking grease etc! We're becoming very angry, this is not how a business should work. The other work, windows, doors, siding, soffit, facia gutters went well but they've really fallen down here after all the money we've spent with them I'd like to think they'd fix this problem in a much more timely manner. Next move is an attorney..

About 8 months after signing the contract for a LuxStone shower, we have a beautiful new bathroom. I will say that the experience with Rusco was overall very good. They are a professional company with a dedicated support team that regularly checked in over the phone despite not always having much to say other then "We're still planning to come on X date!". From the sales rep to the project manager, we experienced professionalism and customer service. A month since our installation was completed and we are enjoying the LuxStone product. From my perspective, it's a high quality product. I hesitate to rate 5 stars because of the length of time it took to complete the project, which I acknowledge is not in Rusco's control. Manufacturer delays led to a longer project timeline then originally expected.

We had a great experience with Rusco. They were very competitively priced compared to other major installers around us. Alex from ASIS Commercial and his team did a great job! We had all of our upstairs windows replaced (12 total) and they were able to get it all done in one day and had everything cleaned up and looking great afterward. The windows have been great so far and we could tell an immediate difference in keeping out the cold this last month. It has been great to see the nice new windows and not feel a draft coming out from around them! We will definitely look to using RUSCO in the future.

Working with Rusco has been the best decision we made for getting our windows replaced. They provide not only the best quality of windows on the market but also came in at the lowest for bid when we compared between 5 other contractors and window companies! Their sale rep Aaron was fantastic to work with, was very flexible with our schedule, didn't push for most expensive styles, and in fact recommend a style that was not only a better design for the room but also cheaper. Also their installers Scott and Tyler were great, arrived early in the appointment time frame, and when they were done the area was extremely clean that you couldn't tell a window had just been replaced. If you're planning on getting your windows replaced I would highly recommend saving yourself a lot of time and going with Rusco right away. We'll using them again for sure in the future the rest of our windows!

The installation experience was great. Gary and Nick were courteous, professional and the installation itself was excellent. I would highly recommend them. However, it seems like we had to wait an inordinately long time from ordering and paying half down to the time of actual installation. (6 months). Getting half down and them waiting for six months doesn't seem like a good business practice. Love the door, though. Great product, well made and great installation. Since this was not a standard door size, accommodations had to be made and those were well done.
