I had a appointment for 2pm today..then, I read the reviews., and was skeptical about taking my vehicle to have my windshield replaced. Nevertheless, I went anyways. I was greeted by a couple of employees. The customer service was very professional, even offered snacks while I waited. Overall, Robert !!(Tae or Tee sorry he went by another name) the technician was truly Awesome!!!. I left a little after 4pm and a completely satisfied customer!!! Thank you all!!!

Everyone of staff were helpful and polite. Knowing they work long hours and are stretched with difficult tasks, they still smile and talk nicely to customers. Take time to listen and look at all problems before just taking and doing whatever to your car. Will use again.

UPDATE: I'm removing a star because of a weird distortion in the glass in the corner of the driver's side near the bottom. I would take it back and am sure they would replace it, but feel it should've been done 100% the first time...and just don't have the time and patience. My safety features do seem to work well with their calibration in shop, so that's a plus! Noah and the team here were extremely nice and professional! I needed my windshield replaced and it also required recalibration of my front cameras and I was in and out in less than 2 hours. Extremely respectful, great work, and they guarantee their work for life. Thank you team for the quick and high caliber work!

My estimated wait time for windshield replacement and recalibration was 2-3 hours and I was out of there in less than two hours. All of the staff members were friendly and welcoming. My technician was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I’m a high mileage driver and I’m sure I will see Safelite again soon. I couldn’t have asked for an easier process. Thank you!

It all started with a rock hitting my windshield and it was a few inches across. Then thanks to Alabama heat it just kept expanding to halfway across my windshield. I scheduled my appt for my off day. So that morning I got a call from the tech saying he was extremely ahead of schedule and would it be okay if he came early!! (that never happens) So Kevin comes about an hour earlier, fixes my windshield in about 45 mins.

Excellent experience. Quick efficient service. Courteous. The only reason I didn't rate at 5 stars is you can't pay for it by using more than one credit card or a form of payment. Also if you're paying for for yourself there's no discount. But over all great service I would recommend them.

I got a rock chip on my windshield and called Safelite to have it repaired. When I spoke with the lady she was very knowledgeable and asked all the appropriate questions to figure out if my CHOO was repairable or not. Come to find out mine was not. So she then asked all of the appropriate questions regarding my glass and the options I had to verify that I would be getting the correct windshield. I mean at this point I’m blown away!! I came into the shop to have my glass replaced was greeted by a happy smiling face and she checked me in, a technician came up and explained to me what he was going to do and described the process. Again blown away!! When everything was completed they brought my car around and walked me outside to verify everything was perfect! I will and forever continue to use Safelite as my repair/replace services! They are knowledgeable all around and care about their customers 110%

Changed review after manager reply to tell my whole experience. First off though, I've had 5 visits to their shop and 1 replacement where they have come to me. Waiting room is stellar free sodas, coffee, snacks, water, comfortable chair, ample seating. So I had a recent appointment. They had 10 people already there some being helped and it appeared they had one walk in. I was helped when I walked in and checked in. I waited 2 hours before anyone helped me, the employee came to get my keys and apologized for the wait and that he just didn't see the notification on his phone that he was assigned to help me...odd, but whatever I just wanted to get it repaired and get out of there. He took my car, he was able to drive my manual car thankfully. 10 minutes goes by and I went to smoke, that's where I saw him outside smoking behind their facility. We made eye contact and he slowly backed up behind his car so I wouldn't see him. He returns my car after ~35 more minutes. You could visibly tell and feel the chip was not fully filled in. I was tired of the long wait and left, figured I'd dealt with them numerous times prior and maybe I'm crazy. 1 week later I walk out to my car on see a foot long crack. I agree with the managers response, but in my opinion (with my lack of any knowledge for windshield repair) I believe the employee that helped me did a very poor job. I leave the 5 stars because I do think my 4 visits that were amazing make up for this one experience.

Nice experience. I showed up around 830 on a Saturday for a tiny chip repair. Didn't have to wait but a few minutes. Waiting space was nice, clean, with comfy chairs and a good coffee selection. Office staff was nice and helpful. And, importantly, they fixed my windshield well.

The lady at the front desk was so so nice. I felt like my business was actually appreciated rather than a burden. I chose to drive here an hour from home because my car needed a windshield replacement and which requires recalibration of the Honda Sensing technology mounted on it. I was pretty bummed it couldn’t be done in my home town, but I’m so glad I went with Safelite! My windshield looks great and sensing is working great so far!

I was able to book an appt online, without having to consult with anyone at all. I had the option to pay up front or wait to pay in person. Upon arrival, check-in was a breeze (provide name and a tech came out to greet me within the minute). Showed him the area to be replaced... he explained the time that it generally takes but that he'd try to get it done before that and he was successful! While I was there in the waiting room, the receptionist (hate I don't know her name) was by far one of the kindest, sweetest, most professional service people I've ever encountered. Not just in speaking directly with me, but all other customers face-to-face, on the phone and also with her colleagues! It was a joy just to listen to her interactions with others. Customer Service makes ALL the difference in an experience (chick-fil-a)! I hope to never have to use them again, but in the event that I do... I won't hesitate about it at all!

I had a great experience with the people here at Safelite! I originally made an appointment to have someone come out and replace my window but received a call that they were not able to get my part in time. To compensate they kindly took some money off my initial price. The next when they were scheduled to come out, in my confusion I accidentally cancelled my appointment. The staff there were extreme understanding and got me an appointment for first thing the next morning and took even more off my final price. All the staff I came in contact with were extremely kind and friendly, I will definitely come back if I need another window fixed!

My driver's side window was shattered yesterday afternoon, so I called my insurance agent who got me scheduled for a 9AM appointment this morning. I was there promptly at 9, was greeted by a very helpful person and told to wait for a technician. The technician arrived about 9:20 and walked me out to my truck. He was very friendly and clearly communicated what he would be doing. He told me it would likely take around an hour, but was finished in 45 minutes. The window works great and the overall experience was quite positive. Apart from the initial 20 minute wait, it was an excellent experience. I would recommend them.

After a surprise rock popped up and cracked my windshield on my way to work, I was incredibly irritated but scheduling an appointment with Safelite was so easy! I scheduled my appointment for 11:00AM and upon arrival, I was quickly greeted and checked in. There were several people in the waiting room ahead of me so I immediately thought "This is gonna take forever" but I was surprised that after waiting only 15 minutes for a tech to assess the damages, he took my keys, took the car back and got to work. The entire wait period was maybe 45 minutes, but the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Definitely recommend this group!

It was very busy this particular day so there was a wait. I will say i got the windshield chipped at 1pm on the interstate and it was all fixed by 5pm on the same day! They even fixed two other spots i didn't notice but it was necessary and covered by insurance. I would recommend them.

I had an appointment between 8 and 12 to fix my windshield. At about 7:30, the technician called and said he was on a tough job and would be running a little late. He said he would show up around 11:00, and he did. He was very courteous and professional. He explained what he was going to do, made the repair, and cleaned up my car when he was done. He went over my warranty, and explained what to do and what not to do with the new windshield, such as not driving for an hour, no car wash for 48 hours, etc. Top rate service!!!

I started an Allstate glass claim on Saturday. I elected to go with Safelite, Allstate's partner provider, after reading the reviews on this site. I was sent a confirmation by text immediately and, though I was not near my phone, I saw that Safelite had tried to call as well. Today – Monday – Chris, my technician, arrived just a few minutes after the earliest possible time he could have according to my schedule window. He called beforehand to make sure he had the right windshield to accommodate the options on my Suburban. When he arrived I asked him if my gull wing door (an accessible vehicle modification) was going to be a problem and after considering it a couple of minutes we both agreed that I might need to schedule a shop visit. I went back into my office. After another couple of minutes, Chris called me back to tell me that he had worked it out where it would be possible to replace my windshield without a shop visit. I unlocked the door for him and went back to work. In just about an hour he called me to let me know that everything was finished. He made sure I understood the warranty and he was careful to give me instructions that it would be safe to drive after two hours and that I should hold off on going to the carwash for at least two days. I thanked him for the extra effort I know it took to reconfigure his tools and to climb over my center console no telling how many times to get my windshield replaced. Chris was extremely professional and courteous. I couldn't be happier with the job he did. I had a windshield replaced about 10 years ago and it was a sloppy job. I was dreading going through that again. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. I would highly recommend Safelite, and Chris, for a windshield replacement.

Let me be clear ( lol oh cmon you didn’t get that ? ) Customer service is ten stars but actual work is 4. Now , it’s more than likely the windshield crack but the repair didn’t help a ton and I can still see the damage. The repair is to keep it from spreading tbh. The customer next to me had the same outcome. These folks are wonderful and they are quick. I want so bad to give five stars but I feel the workmanship could be a little better. Thank you Safelite for your help. I do get the feeling many folks are difficult and don’t understand glass integrity and the owners explain it a dozen times a day - actually I’m going to five because I can feel the owner’s frustration in this arena and it is actually deserved.

So, it is things I look for at a company location such as the atmosphere. The area is clean. The quote I set up online was the exact amount I paid in person. Plus, I got $20.00 off my purchasing price using Groupon promotion. I would have been paying $177.94 I paid $157.94. I had a 2000 GMC Jimmy windshield fixed. Literally, the whole windshield was replaced. It was put in correctly and not crooked. I sat there for about 1 hour. While, it was getting installed. I rate this company five star satisfactory. I went for my service on February 26, 2018.

My visit with Safelite was prompt and comfortable. NOTE: When visiting this location my GPS took me left instead of right at the end of a culdesac. Turn right and you will pass over a small bridge before reaching the building. Complimentary drinks and plenty of seating was provided inside as well as fast service. The estimate of wait time was an hour to hour and a half and I waited for a little over an hour. Only complaint would be that I would have enjoyed dealing with this company a lot more if the technician that I scheduled online to come out had actually shown up!

The tech that can out was nice enough. Considering he was only here for 5 minutes. He had to leave because I didn't have enough space in my garage for him to work. When I checked the no box for the question "do you have a covered place?" I would assumed that I would be told to come to the shop. But no they proceeded to send a guy out anyway. Then he call tells me I need a dry place for him to work. So went to my mom's house, I clean out the garage. When he got here he says the garage is to small. Originally had Safelite come out to my work to repair a chip in my windshield and the tech did not explain anything and ended up making it worse. HOWEVER, I went to Safelite and the manager looked at it and said he would take care of it right away. It was the easiest process and I highly recommend these guys. They replaced my windshield and it’s perfect. Great customer service and they were quick and efficient. I recommend going to them though in case something goes wrong. Lesson learned.

Window had something bounce from the road and impact causing a small hole and thousands of shards to wind up inside the car. Patched :-) it for rain and made appointment. Because of where I live versus where I work it was much more simple to take my car to them for repair. They replaced windshield, VACUUMED out my car and seats where all of the glass was and did it all in about 45 minutes. Completely professional and I would use (hopefully not need!) them as well as recommend them again in a heart beat. Keep in mind the Oxmoor location gps does not take you to the most accurate location. So you may have to call to find them. I have read a number of the other reviews on here, but completely opposite from my experience.
