Always excellent service. Kind and compassionate. Day before yesterday I brought in my foster dog because his leg had been injured. I didn't have an appointment but they were really nice about it and as long as I was willing to wait they would take care of him. Such kindness and compassion for our furry earthmates.

They are my Mom's regular vet and they are amazing. But if your baby is gets sick call them as soon as they open up. Extra slots fill up fast to be seen.

I like to KNOW who is directing care for my Furbabies😊- (These are the people you Trust with pieces of your heart)😸🐶🐩🐈🐇🐕My first visit I was Pleased I didn't feel like I was *sit-wait-rush thru-pay-NEXT!* The front end staff needed info I didn't have on previous Vax's-So they contacted old service-and got what they needed. -Dr. Manning performed Exam/Updated Vax's /Flea&tick meds, Skin Tests, Blood Tests - and they were Patient with my "75lb Muscle-Pup with a tongue". 🐕 I am looking forward to getting to know her & the staff more. He has an appt in a few weeks for his neutering. I'll update soon after.

Wonderful and helpful Vet and staff. They will answer any question and concerns you may have about your pet. They were able to squeeze my puppy in their schedule less than a week. The atmosphere is very friendly and clean as well, which is a plus in anyone's book. I would most definitely recommend to anyone who maybe looking for a vet home.

Took my dog Pluto here as I wasn't very satisfied with what Banfield were offering. We had a great experience here, the receptionists are very friendly. The Vet and their assistants were very knowledgeable and happy to help. Everything was explained very thoroughly and their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. We saw Dr. Manning, she was amazing. It's clear to me that the people at this Vet care very much about their patients

Took our kitty here because she needed her tail looked at. The girls at the desk and tech assistants were very kind and considerate. The Dr took her time explaining what was needed and why and possible outcomes. $54 dollar office visit plus medications and a kitty collar added up to $154. Not sure what the average cost is to compare that total with. Guess bottom line is the end results with Fancy.

Very small but friendly clinic full of adorable little furballs, pets. Plenty of treats to calm jittery dogs before they go see the doctor. The ladies up front are very nice and true animal lovers. We got two dogs their rabies shots, tags, heartworm meds, and check up for about $500. They also see cats.

We've been going to this vet for our past 5 animals so all in all that's roughly 20+ years. They're incredibly kind and have always shown our dogs love and respect especially when it's time to say goodbye. Staff is friendly and they're knowledgeable. Prices are fair enough (relatively speaking in terms of how much a vet can be), and they're always willing to work within your budget/ help you go on payment plans if need be. There's another vet across from this one but please always go to Friendship vet.

Overall pleased with my experience taking my Cat Ollie in for weight loss. The Vet took it seriously and ordered the right tests to figure out what was going on with him. Reasonably priced too. Definitely would recommend.

They are very sweet and they always treat my Bailey the beagle very nice. She usually hates going to the doctor but loves this place! She got so nervous she peed and the reception lady was SUPER nice about it and said it’s okay it happens all the time! Everyone here is so nice and patient with us. There is one lady who works the front counter who knows exactly how to calm her down, which is super hard after a car ride! I love this place so much and they are very reasonably priced.

I love this vet !!!! been going here for a few life times of, some of the best pet friends ever. they will let you know if your cat of 29 pound needs to go to the gym . But understand you don't starve a lion.... When that day comes and the words that can bring us to our knees have to be spoken .only after they have done all possible . I’m sure the professionals are amazing from what I read on the review. But the girl that just answer my phone call was less than helpful. Seem irritated at the questions I need to ask and I don’t understand why.. until I spoke to her the way she was speaking to me was I able to get a couple questions begrudgingly answered. I do understand the public can be annoying with questions that they may not be able to answer. But gd it’s my dog and I’m worried about him. Ease my my?? No she did not.

Took my dogs there for a few years. The staff is very nice and Dr. Cisco is really sweet & knowledgeable. However, another vet misdiagnosed my dog twice and she ended up needing surgery. And Dr. Braun treated me horribly one day making me wait nearly 2 hours to write a prescription. Finally, I left at her request to return in 2 more hours... as soon as I got home 10 minutes later, she called to tell me the prescription was ready to be picked up! She acted very spiteful toward me for some reason. Therefore, I left. I don’t want anyone with a mean disposition caring for my animal.

We have been going here for 3 years since moving to Norfolk. The techs and vets are so nice and they love our labs like their own. Friendship vet watches our dogs while we are out of town and gives baths and nail trims also. 5/5 *

I have a kidney challenged dog who has been going to Friendship for over 5 years now. They spayed her, chipped her and have seen her through some pretty rough times. I've never had a bad experience with any of the Vets, or staff. All are friendly, knowledgeable, well trained and efficient. I inherited another dog a few years ago and he now goes here as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solid and reasonably priced Vet for their non-human family member(s).

I don’t know why there are no many negative comments from Karen’s. Well Karen if you know your dog is sick and you also know that. Friendship veterinarian clinic is not an emergency clinic. So therefore they are not open after hours. So They told you to go to the emergency clinic. If you’re asking well “when should I go to the emergency clinic” the vet says it’s up to your discretion. Obviously if you know your dog is sick you should go ASAP. It is not friendship veterinarian’s fault you have no common sense. However I would just like to say I’ve been going to friendship veterinarian clinic for 20+ years. I have never had a problem. All of the doctors receptionist and kennel staff are absolutely amazing.

I've been a client of this vet for many years, their exotic knowledge is fantastic. They have taken care of my hedgehog for her life and are taking very good care of my ferret every time I bring him in. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they care. They only suggest options of treatment rather than force. No upselling or anything like that. Its nice to know there is a small vet like this for the large scale populous. I highly recommend this vet for now, and years to come.

Very friendly staff, easy to get an appointment or advice. I would definitely recommend Friendship Veterinary to anyone looking for a new vet. My only reservation is that so far I haven't felt that any one vet has tried to get to know me/my pet. This is a tradeoff I'm definitely willing to make for convenience of appointments, etc--but even when my appointment schedule is regular (followup appointments and so on) I don't think I've had the same vet twice.

I don't come in often but the vets and vet techs still recognize my two cats every time they come in. Both of them are FIV+ but the vets have never tried to scare me into paying to medicate minor problems or do unnecessary tests because of it, and they've always offered follow ups. They seem to thoroughly look at my cats' medical histories before seeing them, and they're always on time for appointments. I really feel that the staff cares about every pet.

Staff is very friendly and take great care of my dog Kylie! Prices are very reasonable and we have never experienced any problems here. They have two front doors and a divided waiting area which is great for us because Kylie doesn't usually get along with other dogs. Kylie is very nervous and the staff moves very slow with her and makes the appointments as stress free as possible.

As usual, expert, honest, and loving care for my pet. HOWEVER. There’s the usual note on the door saying that vaccinated people don’t have to wear masks while unvaccinated people must have a mask on. When checking out, I discover that the unmasked person checking me out is also unvaccinated. Dumb in a public health sense and against their own rules. I’m vaccinated, but work closely with someone who has autoimmune problems. Get your people vaccinated! Or at least require that mask!

They're all extremely knowledgeable and even remember and recognize my dogs every time I've come to visit for their appts or to get their flea meds, even if it's been a while!! :) Very reasonable prices for very good care.

Usually we don't see the same vet here but so far they have been great. My dog is fearful of strangers and skittish but the staff do an excellent job with him. Recently, he had an X-ray and the staff got it done without making him overly nervous. I'm always surprised at how easily they get things done for him. Where other vets have had to muzzle him for something as simple as an exam, friendships staff is so calm and cool that is never necessary.

I was extremely impressed with Friendship Vet. The entire staff from the front desk receptionist to the vet tech to the head vet were all extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. Everything appeared clean and I never felt rushed. Alot of other vets I've seen will rush you out of your appt. So they can move to the next patient, but they definitely don't do that here. Every questioned was answered and the whole visit felt sincere. I absolutely recommend this place.

I chose this vet because I read the good reviews on here. I asked if they deal with chinchillas and they told me which day they would have a vet there who owns chinchillas herself and is good with them. Dr. Williams examined him in front of me and was very thorough. She was very kind and seemed to genuinely care about the wellbeing of my pet. He was very sick when I brought him in and she spent a long time looking at him, explaining his illness to me, and explaining how to treat him to make him better. In my opinion she saved his life. I had already taken him to another vet who assured me they knew about chinchillas and actually didn't, and didn't treat him at all for anything. Friendship even sent me a postcard thanking me for choosing them as my vet. Their prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of this vet. I have no complaints at all.

Found a lost kitten (three weeks old) and they were able to get us in same day despite a full schedule. In addition to treatment for the dehydrated and underweight kitten, the vet tech, Liz, gave a tutorial on feeding the kitten! I've never worked with them before, but they're my go-to from now on! (If anyone was worried, momma cat showed up that afternoon with a clipped ear ... the local TNR folks must have picked up, and in the one day Friendship got her kitten treatment and dewormer!)

I have used this vet for many years. They have seen all of my new kittens and puppies into the old age. They have cared for them when they were well and when they were sick. And when my pets could do no more, they eased them out of their misery. They put up with the crazy pet owner that could not figure out how to make a sickly dog better. You won't get better care for your pets.

The secretary seemed all over the place, overwhelmed. The wait time was long, which can happen, so not that much of an issue. But they dont do exams in front of you, they take them in a back room, to limit exposure of covid to staff. Didnt like not seeing my pet get examined.
