I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this clinic. From a first time dog owner of 1 to a 3 year dog owner of 2 they have become a trusted family keeping my littles safe and cared for. Prices are more than fair and the care is exceptional. No procedure is ever completed without consent and without clinical call to action with a direct follow-up call not only from the front desk, but from the physicians in the room. I have had a mixed success with this vet. Where yes some of their surgery options are more affordable there have been a couple things that have concerned me. Recently I had recommended my sister take her dog their for his dental and she was there for his physical this morning. Her dog has ALWAYS been anxious. We got dogs from the same litter but hers has always been the one that’s been a little harder to handle. He’s fairly fearful of strangers and this was his first appointment with a new vet. She described the vet grabbing him and making him scream and squeal and not allowing my sister to calm him or assist at all. The vet then vent on to scold her about flea and tick medication when it was irrelevant to his appointment and the same vet had never once said anything along those lines to me and my dogs. The vet trip my sister described sounded like a nightmare and now I’m conflicted because my dog has surgery here later this week. I think maybe the vets should show a little more compassion and understanding especially with new clients. I won’t be recommending this vet any longer.

Dr. Plagman and all the staff are excellent and made my pup feel welcomed and loved. They were extremely efficient as well and we were in and out in 15 minutes for minor ear issue, including the diagnosis/lab time! Price was more than reasonable. Absolutely will not hesitate to go back if necessary.

We have been taking our pets here for 10 years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The reminder cars for their appointments is very helpful since we would probably forget. They generally have flexible appointments and they can get you in within a reasonable time. We have referred several of our friends and family here.

We took our puppy to Prairie Creek to get neutered and have all of his shots taken care of. I was very nervous about taking him - he doesn't like when we leave, and he sometimes can get a little anxious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I called at the beginning of the week and was able to get in that same week. They took my puppy and he went with them just fine. The pickup time was so convenient - the window from 2pm-7pm made it completely stress free to go pick him up. Dr. Carr said our puppy was very well behaved, and so lovable. What pet owner doesn't want to hear that?! Very reasonably priced and pup seemed at ease with the entire staff. Absolutely thrilled with the experience we had at Prairie Creek. I know where we will be going from now on!!

Dr. Jamie was amazing in assisting me with my kitty. I had brought her in because she wasn't eating, losing weight, very lethargic, and all around didnt seem well. They got me in the same day I called. And after a terrible visit to an emergency vet, I call back to see if Dr. Jamie could look at my kitty again. Her schedule was full and yet she still squeezed her in. Did the blood work and my poor baby had severe kidney failure. I opted to ease her pain and put her down and Dr. Jamie was so caring and helpful through the whole process. I'm so glad I found this clinic. And even though I lost my baby today I am really satisfied with the care she had received even up through the final minutes. All of the staff was amazing and supportive!

Dr. Carr is wonderful! When our female boxer was a puppy I hadn't even met him and had to call him in emergency at 10pm b/c our breeder had us give the puppy a shot. She went into anaphylactic shock right away. We've been with him for 5 years and just recently brought another boxer home from a rescue center. He answered all of my questions about the new puppy and made me feel at ease. Prices are very reasonable!! I highly suggest Dr. Carr!!

I needed a tider and kennel cough vaccination done on my pitbull rescue. The front desk was unsure if they performed tiders (which is a blood draw to determine valley fever levels) and called me back immediately upon finding out. When we arrived their front lobby was big enough that my boyfriend could take our dog away from other potential dogs vision. The dr who worked with us was so great, Hendrix even approved because he made no peep as the dr gave him his shot. I think it’s also worth mentioning our dog is 9 years old and was abused for the first 7 years of life, and by the time he made it to the shelter he was so bad with people and other dogs that he was a day away from being put down. He has warmed up to my bf and I over the years and a few select others- but he can smell a vet from a mile away.. Hendrix still shook while in the office, but never growled at the Dr., which is HUGE. If you have an aggressive dog, you know what I mean.
