I feel like I can’t NOT write about how wonderful and caring the staff at Holladay Vet are. Our 2 year old corgi Max unfortunately had a cracked and infected tooth that needed to be extracted. We decided to wait a little bit longer to get it extracted so we could have the surgery with our dog’s vet versus going somewhere else to get in sooner. I was such a nervous dog mom having him be put under anesthesia because you never know what will happen. When we got to check in, Dr. Pratt’s surgical technician Kim met us in an exam room to get Max checked in and answer any questions we had. She took her time making us feel comfortable, and awhile later (we didn’t feel rushed at all!) we were on our way out leaving our baby’s life in their hands. And we felt so good about it. Kim was so knowledgeable about everything we asked, and made us feel so comfortable that Max was going to be in good hands! Throughout the time he was at the vet, they texted me updates and pictures on our little guy. And that helped so much with my dog mom anxiety! Even when we picked him up after surgery, they took the time to explain the post-op care and made us feel empowered to take care of him to the best of our ability. I also need to brag about Dr. Pratt. He is so kind and comforting. Any time he has needed to call about Max he has explained everything to me in a way that I fully understand and also made me feel like he cared so much. He’s compassionate about being a veterinarian and it’s obvious he loves all of his patients. He has such good bedside manner (if that’s what it’s called for a vet!) I feel so grateful we have Holladay Vet as our dog’s vet. They are caring, comforting, and kind. They care so much about their patients that I would feel comfortable leaving my pup in any of their hands. I would recommend them to everyone!!

Kodi my beautiful big baby boy. He's a powerful Pit, and I can't say enough great things to describe the service both of us received! Our doctor was amazing and thorough, the young lady that bandaged and dressed his very painful paw was patient and sweet.Kodi is under 2yrs. and is over 85lbs of pure muscle. Both the ladies were tiny and between the three of us his bandage was done beautifully. Holladay was the only hospital that made adjustments to be sure to get my baby the professional medical attention he needed! I'm very grateful to the amazing staff that aided in every aspect, to helping with in&out of the car,to trying multiple cones, and all the way to getting him back into the car. I'm very impressed and they even worked out a plan so I could afford his treatment. Thankyou so much for all you've done for my sweetheart & me. And all on a Saturday. He's now resting comfortably and happy to be home. I recommend highly "Holladay Veterinary Hospital" definitely went above&beyond!

Dr. McClain and the vet tech Sierra Stout helped my pup out. They were amazing! I really hope Sierra Stout gets a raise/promotion/recognition… something because she truly cares about animals. She was literally on the ground with the little cheese treats to calm my pup. My pup has anxiety at the vet, but this was the calmest she’s been. She truly is a compassionate person! 10/10. Best vet experience ever!

I really appreciate the clear communication I've had here. Professional, giving concise details. I have visited quite a few veterinarians and these guys are more personal with a higher quality of care. They are not the cheapest guys in town but that has to do with them taking precautions towards your animals care. They saved my cats life really reversing a terminal situation. I trust them to always do their best and are capable of doing so.

This place has such amazing reviews for a reason! I’ve never been to such a great vet before. Some vets don’t seem like they care, but here you could really tell they did. My two cats get very scared, but the two women (I apologize I forget their names, I’m terrible with that) talked so sweet to them and gave them their favorite treats. They were understanding of my concerns and gave great advice, not prescribing them anything they didn’t need. The main waiting area was completely empty and they were mindful of keeping the only dog that came in away from my cats, then got me into a room very quickly. I’m so glad I took my babies here, I’ll definitely keep going there forever!!

I want to start off this review by saying I came to these amazing people on the hardest day I've personally faced in my life. My best friend of 15 years Zoie had to be set free from this world and I choose them to help her. From the start till today I've had nothing but the greatest experience working with these angels in skin. My fear coming in was them asking what she was being seen for. However they knew from the moment I said her name what we were doing that day. No questions asked they moved us to a room and did their own check up on Zoie, she unfortunately had a couple mishaps and they didn't hesitate to get her a new blanket and offered any assistance. They treated us and her with upmost respect and dignity the entire time Zoie was the best friend anyone could have. She had been my emotional support animal from the start after me and my mother escaped 7 years of torture; that said, these absolutely beautiful people showed her the gratitude she deserved. The clinic is spot on and everyone welcomes you with open arms, they truly care just care about your business, they care about you, and they care about your family members, they simply give the world in every way they can. If you're looking at here for the next visit or as a life long vet clinic, I wouldn't hesitate. I trust them with the final moments of the best part in my life. You can trust them with anything. If you're looking for reasonable prices, this is the place, if you're looking for professionals who treat you and your pet better then your spouse, this is your destination. If I could I would rate them 100/10. I seen multiple places for Zoie in the past, nothing even scratches the surface on how grate Holladay vet clinic is. Truly I mean every word in this review and I will spread the news. I had choosen Zoie to be cremated, they quoted a month to receive everything and it was here before the end of month. They have amazing options for a memorial including 4 or 5 different woods, room for her name and a quote to remember her by as well paw prints and more. They even had taken the time out of their day to sign and send a letter expressing their sympathy. It's a little but huge thing in my book. I have no doubt they can handle anything you need whilst keeping you calm and aware. To the building of amazing individuals; thank you for everything you do. You are all one of a kind and the best people I could have asked for. I wish all of you the best as you have done for me and my best friend. A little miscommunication with the front office staff (obtaining records and whatnot), but other than that, we had a great experience. I’ve never been seen so promptly in ANY doctor’s office. The staff was pleasant and Dr. Crawford was amazing! It was my first time coming to this office and meeting Dr. Crawford and it’s safe to say I have found my permanent veterinarian. She was thorough with explaining everything and giving recommendations without coercing me into any sort of treatment. Highly recommend!

We love Holladay Veterinary Hospital! My golden retriever, Finley, has seen Dr. Pratt a few times for check ups and other things as well as office staff for routine heart worm testing. He is always greeted with so much love from the staff (which of course he absorbs like a sponge because he is an attention-loving golden). I feel like Finley gets great care there and I never have to worry that he’s in good hands. 🙂 Definitely recommend if you’re in the search for a vet for your fur baby!

Great place! Helped my cats by giving treats and using a calming spray on the towel and gave us a good few minutes before the exam for the cats to get comfortable with the room. Great vet and tech. I love Holladay Vet. My cat is never friendly with visitors at my house, but for some reason, he greets the techs and the vet like they’re his best friends. They are always kind and gentle. I like how easy it is to schedule appointments and the email reminders when we’re due for a visit.

This vet clinic is amazing. They really work hard and do their best to minimize the stress pets go through. When they saw how anxious my cat was waiting for his neuter, they bumped him up in the schedule so he could be back home quicker. I've worked with Dr. McLain at another veterinary hospital and am more than happy to vouch for the amazing medicine she practices. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

We can't thank Dr. Sam Crawford enough for how well she has treated, and understands, our lil' senior dobie-mix girl. She was treated for bone cancer last year (amputation+ chemo at a specialty clinic) but now that we are in post-treatment care, we wanted to take her to a place that could make her feel comfortable (she's very anxious) while at the vet. Holladay Veterinary Specialist is that place. Dr. Crawford made sure the room was comfortable for our three legged companion and we had a great conversation about her condition and what to look for as she ages. Highly recommend!

Our little Snorkie Copper is a rescue we adopted back in December. We had him in for his annual dental cleaning. It is probably the first cleaning in his life, because his teeth were quite dirty. I’ve only been a customer/patient here for a few months as my dog is still a puppy, but I’ve been so impressed with this facility! The staff is always very professional and helpful, and Dr. Milstein is a great vet!! It’s very obvious that she is up to date on new research and is very knowledgeable, and she also was very sweet with my scared puppy! Even times when we’ve gone to different locations for care (24/7 ER and Spay/Neuter Clinic) the staff is so helpful and has called to check up on how poppy is doing. This facility has a really great team, and doesn’t come with a premium price! My bills are on par with other vets family animals have gone to, and I feel that our care has been above and beyond my expectation.

The staff here is always so kind and helpful. We go here for regular appointments but my pup also got neutered here last week. Dr. Pratt's team texted me updates and pictures leading up to surgery and once my pup was recovering. Always such loving care for my pets. My dog never gets scared or nervous when he's there, just more curious. They trimmed his nails great, no bleeding and my dog wasn't nervous with them. They let me schedule a time that would work for me, not sure the normal 9:00-5:00 hours. The Vet was outstanding and explained everythign in terms I could understand. They even sent over the records and visit discussions so I could keep them in my own file. I would suggest them to anyone!! Their facility was clean and you could tell they take Covid precautions, even though some people feel the risk isn't there anymore. They are still concerned not only about pets but their customers and employees.

My kitty Pippin has been coming here since we first got her when she was a kitten. We got all her shots, and just did a spay and microchip this weekend. We did the kitten plan they offered which was nice paying month to month for everything for Pip rather than all at once. Besides the amazing medical advice and attention she got from them- the staff here is just superb. Me being a first time pet parent I feel a little anxious wanting to do the best I can for pip, and they have eased so much anxiety. They recommended food, medicines, treats, and literally any dumb questions I have. I can attest that every dr, nurse, and front desk person has been a literal Angel. Holladay Veterinary Hospital is the best! My husband and I will never take our boy anywhere else! The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They always work with us to get appointment times that work for us and if we ever need a urgent sick appointment.. they have always been quick to find us an appointment as soon as possible. Our dog always feels comfortable and never anxious about a vet visit. The vets are very knowledgeable and have always helped us get to the bottom of any of our dog’s illnesses. We first took our dog here to remove a large tumor growing on his chest and the surgery was done very well. We were impressed and have never gone any where else. This place is awesome. The staff here are really great. We have an elderly dog and for a minute there we visited this place pretty frequently. They are always so nice and gentle to my baby girl. They've treated her for everything from vaccines to tummy viruses and recently some foxtails that got stuck in her foot. When I call for advice they are straightforward and honest with me letting me know the services that they can and cannot provide. And if they can't provide something that we need they always refer us to other great vets in the area. I feel very safe and knowing that my baby girl is in kind competent hands. This is hands down one of the best vets I’ve gone to. The amount of time they spend to make sure you and your animal is comfortable is above and beyond. Wow….I made an appt just for a checkup and deep and dr. Miyoshi made me feel so heard. They were so patient with me and They took so much time answering all my questions. I had a traumatic experience with my previous kitten and they were so understanding. Deep went over and beyond and was willing to get me a new room because of my own past issues. they both were so sweet and nice to my kitten. My kitten is crazy and leaped on deep from behind and he was so nice about it (sorry deep!) I had a really great experience here and would highly recommend dr. Miyoshi and Deep!

The doctors and staff have always handled my animals with kindness, as if my pet was their own! I have been coming for over 10 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Last night I had my two cats in for wellness checks and blood work on the oldest. I expressed concern that we not add additional stress ( my son’s dog is visiting) by forcing the test if he “wasn’t having it”. They brought him back and said we would do blood work another time. My cat’s welfare was more important than the $$. They will take all the time you need to answer questions. They are the best.

What can I say? They are the BEST! I had my previous pup with this vet for 13 years and they treated us incredibly well, accommodating to schedules, kind to both myself and my pup, knowledgeable, educated so I could make decisions rather than throwing only expensive options at us for things that came up, sensitive with his end-of-life care… and just had our new pup in for his first visit. The vet tech Emma was knowledgeable and generous with her time, the vet Miyoki (she is new to me) was also kind and knowledgeable, just like the other vets I have seen in the past here. Their pricing is pretty standard, I’ve never felt like they were asking more than fair. I would choose them over and over again.

I love the care and professionalism we get at Holladay Veterinary Hospital. When my newly adopted little poodle got an ear infection that was compounded by him scratching a hole in his cheek, they got me in on the same day I called. Took my boys here to be neutered after a friend referred me. The ladies up front are so friendly and welcoming. The office is very clean and open Sundays. Dr. O was great, she took her time answering my many questions and helped put my mind at ease. One of my dogs had a testicle in his abdomen, she did a beautiful job with the removal and both my boys are recovering well. I highly recommend them.

You won’t find a better Vet in Utah. They know their stuff. My golden retriever has suffered from allergies and skin issues. My other vet didn’t even know he had an ear infection let alone allergies. We changed his food and have gotten everything under control. Dr Pratt Is one of a kind. If you’re questioning whether or not try take your loved one here. Look no further. I promise you won’t regret it.

A credit card machine in the exam room? We waited Four hours in an exam room for treatment for our poor, sick, stressed pet. The vets are caring. The front desk staff is exceptional. Cannot escape the overwhelming trend of running the meter for testing to pad bills. I had to literally demand treatment. It is excellent care but it will cost you. So far I'm $2000 in and my pet still has a serious infection.

I came to Holladay after my beloved former vet retired. I have been taking my cats to them for 4 years now and have been happy with the service. I love that they have extended hours, making it much easier to work around normal work schedules. I've seen two vets there, Drs Conway and Miyoshi, who are both great about listening and taking the time to make sure you get answers and resolve any concerns. It's a busy practice, so routine visits are sometimes a month out, but I've always been able to get in quickly when there was an immediate health issue. My cat has a chronic condition, which has been well managed under their care.

I’ve been taking my frenchie here for the past 5 years and I can’t say enough good things about the place. Stevie has seen several vets in the office and all have been fantastic. Her main vet, Dr Miyoshi, is exceptional. She takes the time to learn the personalities of her patients giving her great understanding of when they’re feeling, “off,” or sick. Dr. Miyoshi also takes the time to make sure that you as a pet owner have a firm understanding on your pets diagnosis.

We have been taking our very spicy JRT, Bella, to Holladay for almost 8 years now. I’m pretty sure she has seen (and tried to bite, and snotted on) everyone who has worked there during that time. Despite the behavior of our spoiled princess (and the obvious inability of her parents to teach her better manners), the entire team at Holladay has always been wonderful to work with. The doctors (most especially Miyoshi, Conway, Olschewski, and Pratt) have gone out of their way to explain procedures, care plans, results, discuss options, and make sure all of our questions and concerns have been answered to our satisfaction. They have always been very transparent and up front with pricing, which, healthcare is a business like anything else (Vets shouldn’t be expected to eat dog kibble samples, friends!) but prices are comparable to other facilities - despite this practice being far superior IMO. With the recent renovation, we are now able to settle the bill in the exam room, so we don’t need to wrangle our little monster in the waiting area while also trying to pay - I love that they have done this! Brilliant! We trust Holladay with the most important creature in our lives, so that should say something. Thank you to the doctors and staff, we appreciate all of you ❤️

I love this place! I love the staff they are all extremely nice, courteous and professional as well as fun to talk to. Took my kitten Eugene here yesterday to get microchipped and get his rabies shot. He’s my first cat and it was his first time at the vet so it was just nerves all around. The moment the receptionist said “hello” I could tell just by the tone of voice that I had found the place I had been looking for. We have used this Veterinary Hospital for our sweet puppy since we got her in 2018. She has had regular check-ups, shots, and was spayed here as well. We are very impressed with the staff and how they truly care for all animals. We happened to have a couple of experiences that were initially concerning, but received a very personalized and immediate response after giving feedback on a survey. We can tell that they really listen to their human clients, too! We are very pleased with the care our dog received before, during, and after her spay surgery. It is also super convenient to be able to get medications and other OTC products here at the same time.

I recently moved to Salt Lake City, and I took both of my dogs to Holladay Veterinary Hospital to establish care. Due to COVID 19, the practice is doing curb site check in and drop offs for all visits to limit crowds and abide by social distancing recommendations. Although it was tough leaving my dogs with them and not being able to be with them during the appointment, the staff was absolutely wonderful and trusting. They explained everything that they would be doing during the visit, and they called me several times during the visit to ask clarifying questions and to go over their recommendations. Dr. Crawford was wonderful about explaining some thoughts and recommendations for our golden retriever.

I’m truly impressed! I’ve never taken an animal to the vet where I couldn’t be by their side. Dropping my precious fur baby off at the curb seemed very weird and cold to me at first. I am very understanding of all the covid precautions needed during this time and I am learning to accept a different way of life. I had to trust my gut... Upon arrival I called to check in. I had no trouble getting through someone answered and started to take my info right away. I believe her name was Kali. Kali reassured me that the best care was going to be taken with my pup. When they were ready for my fur baby I was able to bring her to the door where I met the vet tech. I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name because she was amazing also! She confidently and sweetly took my girl and again, took the time to reassure me they would give her lots of love during her visit. I was then called by the vet while I waited to discuss the pups first visit. Dr. Crawford took the time to explain EVERYTHING and allow questions. I never at any time felt rushed or pressured to make decisions. I felt Dr. Crawford was very genuine and professional. They genuinely care about your furry family and will do ANYTHING needed to make sure they are taken care of and get what they need. I would have lost my little one if it wasn’t for their team! The only reason I'm going to the vet hospital is for Dr Conway. I followed her from another vet hospital. She is wonderful. She took care of my sick older dog last year and when it was time, helped me send him to heaven. Now I'm taking my puppy to her. She truly cares about my pets, and me, and takes extra time to answer all my crazy questions. I'm so very grateful for her. As for the rest of the hospital, the prices are on the higher side-they charged me $22 for a nail trim yesterday. I have also heard the vet techs in the back talk bad about my puppy multiple times. She's a puppy, of course she isn't going to sit perfectly for a nail trim. She's still learning. Also, when I picked her up after her spay I heard the tech tell my puppy to "stop being weird" when she was getting her out of the kennel. When they have these feelings towards animals, these poor animals can feel this and will be fearful. I expect more from a place that charges so much. They should be treating my dog with love and kindness. At ALL times.

My wife and I have had amazing experiences at Holladay vet. We have two dogs we take there, and so far we’ve worked with Drs Crawford, Conway and Miyoshi. They’ve all been extremely helpful, informative, and considerate. I cannot imagine taking my pets anywhere else. Update: Dorian Tate needed dental surgery and ended up having most of his teeth removed. Dr. O was recommended to me by a friend and I couldn't be more pleased. They made sure he was very comfortable and he is doing amazing. I brought my cat in over the weekend to look at a dental issue. The staff was very friendly and clear about the cost of the services. We recently bought a hound puppy, and took him in for his first vaccinations. The following day, Mortdecai was puking and pooping blood fairly consistently. In a panic I called the Holladay staff to inform them of Mort’s reaction. This was the SECOND time every staff member actively listened, was empathetic, and thorough not only in their response, but recommendations. Within a couple hours they had Mort hydrated and ready to come back home. From the Doctors all the way to the front office staff - this is the BEST interaction I’ve had with a vet facility. Our family dog (15 years) had a rapid decline in her health and wouldn’t stand up for over 4 hours. At first we thought she was just being stubborn but when we realized she wasn’t my mom called to see if they could get her in to check on her. Unfortunately they were booked out and wouldn’t have an appointment until the following week (it was a Friday when all of this happened). We knew we couldn’t wait that long and thankfully they were able to get us in the same day. We had to make the difficult decision to put her down and everyone was so kind through the entire process. They didn’t rush our decision or make it seem like we were wasting their time. We had her cremated and they were still so kind when I went to pick her up and weren’t harsh about the situation at all. When I called to have her brought out the technician (I believe his name was Jay) he was so kind and it may seem odd to be so happy over something so small but he said, “Okay I will meet you at the front door to pick her up.” The level of autonomy that is given to pets here is phenomenal and I am beyond grateful to the staff and team here for their amazing attitudes and understanding of hard situations. They will take care of your pets without the judgment that other vets in the valley will and are willing to talk about all of the options available without trying to sway your decisions.

I took my 11 year old cat here after some concerning symptoms didn’t resolve on their own. I was an given an appointment time within less than 24 hours of my call. The front desk staff were polite and helpful. The techs were great at communicating procedures and answering questions. But my real shout of goes to Dr. Conway. I CANNOT say enough good things about her but I’ll try: (1) she was quick to return calls and give updates, (2) she gave easy to understand diagnosis information, (3) she was patient while I asked a lot of questions about alternative diagnoses, alternative treatments, medications, etc., (4) she answered all of my questions thoughtfully, thoroughly, with sincerity, and compassion. I could not have asked for a better team to take care of my cat. I originally chose this location because it’s close to my house but now I will continue to use there services and recommend them to friends and family because of the excellent care and service I received. I recently transferred to this vet after leaving another location that seemed especially pricey. Not that any vet visits are particularly cheap, but Holladay Vet Hospital is definitely reasonable. This is very important to me because I am a student living off of loans but still want to care for my pet! I really like that they do a printout of potential costs/services and go over it with you. There are no surprises about costs or what you agreed to since it is discussed beforehand. This lets me make an informed decision keeping my pet and my wallet in mind. I ended up running some lab tests and they got back to me with the results very promptly, and suggested the next course of action now that we had the lab results. I believe they are honest and care for my pet. I would recommend Holladay Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for good and affordable pet care!

My little kitty was having a coughing fit and I wasn't sure if it was something to be concerned or not about but I was literally told, "If you're concerned, we're concerned." And that made it feel like they really care about their patients there. They gave her an overall exam and called me with next steps – laid everything out, listened to everything I had to say, answered all my questions, talked through pricing, and gave me several options as next steps. Zoe even got a little treat while she was there – how cute. AND! The best part is, they asked me to send a video of the coughing fit, so I sent it but they called me even after hours to let me know they couldn't open the video and asked for another way to send and view it which we talked through with success. All around... they care so much and Dr. O is incredibly understanding and listens to everything you have to say with care. 10/10.

These guys are great; I've seen several of the vets here with my dog, and all are kind, compassionate, professional, and clearly know their stuff and care about their patients. What makes them a particularly great option in my mind is their hours and their availability. Twice now my dog's had issues or injuries come up, and I've been able to walk in here without an appointment and see someone right away. Yesterday my dog managed to break one of her claws pretty badly while playing at doggy daycare; the folks at the daycare called me in, and gave me a card for a local emergency vet they recommended, since it was a weekend and outside business hours. I knew Holladay vet was open though, because their weekend hours are AMAZING, and drove straight over there to see if a tech might be available to take a look at my dog. The person on reception quickly checked for us and took my dog back to be seen... a short time later, my regular vet came out with my dog, her foot neatly bandaged, and gave us the lowdown on what we need to do for continuing care. They not only didn't charge us an emergency visit fee for stopping in without an appointment, they actually charged us less than a regular office visit, and it kind of sounded like everybody in the office was involved in distracting my dog while the vet worked. :D I can't say enough complimentary things about this office and everyone who works there, and even my dog who is generally timid around strangers seems to love everybody here. (Her biggest problem with a vet exam is me keeping her from incessantly licking the vet's face. :D)

Yes, each visit is pricey, but all vets are. Dr. O took the time to call pharmacies in the area to find the cheapest place I can get meds for one of my dogs. Phenomenal office. We started going here when we lived in Murray after a few sub par visits to other vets. After we bought a house in Utah county we still kept coming up to Holladay because none of the vets offices in Utah county compared. We have an extremely high energy dog (Vizsla) and Dr. O does a great job with him. He just had surgery on his neck from a fox tail infection and the whole staff was incredible and they were priced fairly. Worth the drive to keep coming here.

I've lived in Millcreek for almost year now and I was still commuting to Bountiful to the Animal Care Center for my 3 Pomeranians and if you live in the Bountiful area they are awesome. However, this past December proved to be the breaking point for the commute for an emergency with one of my babies. After all was said and done I was directed back to SLC to have an ultra sound done anyway. SO, now being 4 months into the new year I decided I should maybe make Millcreek my actual home and find a vet closer to where I am living. I like to shop at Sprouts over in the same shopping plaza as Holladay Veterinary Hospital. I had no clue they were located there until about a week ago when I was stopping at Starbuck's (also in the same shopping strip) and saw a sign on the sidewalk that reported what their hours were. I went home, Googled vets near me and viola! I had a new doctor. Their online appointment maker site is fairly nice. However, I wish there was a way to cancel it the same way. I arrived as requested, 15 minutes early, only to discover the power had been out an hour or so earlier and their computers were down. No big deal. I had to fill out paperwork anyway. We were escorted into a room. Morgan, a vet tech came in and took all my information about my dogs. A few minutes later Dr. Yoshimoto (I know I haven't got her name right) came in and was awesome with my "kids". I needed a vaccine and I thought my Josi was in bad shape with her mouth and needed a desperate dental cleaning. As it turns out my oldest pom, Henry is the worst of the three but Baxter actually has a molar completely broken off. I need to digress a little bit into Pet Insurance right here if I may? I had pet health insurance last year for all 3 of them. It cost me about $160-$170 a month. It included a wellness plan so I got all vaccines covered. This year they doubled their rates on me and their explanation as to why made sense but I can't afford DOUBLE so I canceled it. Holladay VH offers Paw Plans that are 3 different levels of coverage and cost. I signed up for the highest plan for each of my dogs which is about $75 a month. It covers everything I need and want. They didn't even have a sales pitch I just picked up a brochure in the room and read about it. Now, after all of that, I've got a nice vet, the cost is about the same as it was in Bountiful, I have a plan that works for us and I feel good. Two things I wonder about tho' in this office. First, they are still running on Windows XP which was all the way back to 2001 almost 20 years ago now. I guess if still works then use it. The second thing I noticed as I walked in the door was all the paper files for patients. My own personal medical doctor still had paper files until she was forced to move elsewhere and now she uses a laptop. I just hope there will never be a fire or flood and that it is all backed up somewhere off site. Everything was awesome across the board. I am truly happy! I can never do too much for my dogs, ever. Unconditional love is hard to come by you know? :)

I was unsure of a diagnosis from my usual vet regarding a broken tooth in my 9 y/o boxer and wanted a local vet who had additional dental training and found Dr. Pratt at Holladay Veterinary and he definitely fit the bill. Called late Friday and got a Saturday 9a appointment! I can’t believe we were able to get an appt. that fast, especially on a Saturday morning. Even better, they are open seven days a week 7a-8p. The location and hours are convenient, the facility is clean and welcoming and I got right into a treatment room. In the first five minutes I was with the vet tech, I was so impressed with her knowledge and the way she interacted with my dog. Teeth are a hard thing to examine in a dog! Shortly thereafter, Dr. Pratt joined us and examined my dog as well – not only his teeth but a general well-checkup on his eyes, ears, hips/joints, etc. He is very nice, personable and was very caring towards my dog – allowing all the kisses and sniffs that come with meeting someone new. Dr. Pratt spent time explaining the dental issue, what needed to be done to correct it and then answering all of my questions (which were a lot). I never felt rushed and he was very thorough. We had dental surgery and Dr. Pratt kept us in the loop throughout the day and upon pick-up we met with him once again to go over the procedure performed and aftercare. Prices are competitive, if not less than other vets out there. I am not one to shop for a cheap price when it comes to my dogs – whatever it takes is what I’ll pay, so this wasn't the reason I sought their services. It was a nice surprise, however. I am so very impressed at the Holladay Veterinary Team, especially Dr. Pratt with his demeanor and knowledge. If you are looking for a caring, knowledgeable, friendly vet, definitely visit Dr. Prat and Holladay Veterinary.

Holladay Vet hospital was very patient and graceful when diagnosing our 11 year old dog with cancer. Whatever the name has been, this place has always been like our “home away from home”; when I come to the clinic with one, or all of my furry kids, the feeling of being welcomed as part of a family is so comfortable, all of the staff is always willing to share with us the happy, and in so many occasions, the sad moments too. Dr. Pratt has been our “primary family physician” probably for around 20 years (it has been so long I had lost count), but when he is out on vacation or seminars any other doctor from the staff is always more than happy to see my furry kids in emergency need. We have known many of the techs and groomers for many, many years and all have become part of our family, as well as the new comers from the merge. I was more than happy to follow them when they moved to this location. I have always liked the way that ALL not just a few, but ALL of the staff has a warm welcome. Always inviting to my animals. Even when I am early and let them know i'm ok waiting they always put me in a room, no matter what. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!! A few years ago, my soulmate, Max, was diagnosed with an agressive form of cancer. Dr. McDonald, was amazing, throught the year and a half that we battled with this disgusting disease. It was nice to see someone who was more interested in the animal and person than the money that was coming throught the door. Max got to the point where he liked Dr. McDonald. She always had a treat and a kind hand when he came to see her. She was even able to help me see that he had fought a good battle and it was time for him to move on to his next stage. She gave me the number for an amazing soul who could come into my home and gently help us send him over the Rainbow Bridge. It was because of Dr. McDonald that I feel that I did all I could for my little man. I will forever remember how she was with him and I both. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I will forever take my animals here if they keep employing the type of people they have there now!!
