Less than 2 minute wait time. Great front office staff. Dr. Sander is great, too; knowledgeable about his sensitive German Shepherd skin & has helped him so much! The only issue was his nails. Sebastian wasn't able to have them trimmed, even on sedatives & in a muzzle. But he is a very large, aggressive GSD! I still HIGHLY recommend Camelwest; they're the best! ❤️🐾❤️🐾

We had an awesome experience. The staff members are very organized and give excellent care. The doctor spent time with us to answer all our questions and concerns. Very detailed oriented to our pets needs. The entire facility was very clean and tidy. Everyone we dealt with gave us excellent care. Our dog was very calm and relaxed with the care they provided. It was nice to have everyone spend that extra bit of time to make it a positive experience for our dog. Thank you for such an awesome experience. You gave our little Maddie excellent care!! I came in with my two puppies on the wrong date. Luckily they had an opening and were able to see us 25 minutes later. The two ladies at the desk were great, the doctor was amazing and very helpful with any questions. Everyone was super nice!

Prices are fair! They don't pressure you into any unnecessary procedures and the vet even gave me a much cheaper option to get medication for my puppy because I was on a budget. Scheduling appointments is easy, communication is amazing but most importantly they care about our animals. I will definitely be back

We’re so very sweet when we had to put our sweet doggie down a few months ago, helped so much with his care and when we got a new puppy, they took all the time we needed to help us. Dr. Nicole McCready DVM and her staff are, amongst other things, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. The facility is spotless They made it very easy to re-establish care with them and also to facilitate Devon’s cardiologist. The latter, being a two day event to fit and remove a heart monitor, went smoothly and seamlessly. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would, All the above stands plus today it was again a seamless experience facilitating Devons Cardiologist for his six month echocardiogram.😊🐾🐾❤️ lo

I moved to Arizona on April last year and needed a good vet practice for my two senior pups. I found Camelwest Animal Hospital had very nice reviews and gave it a try. I'm very happy with the quality of the service. The front desk ladies are awesome always being very sweet, patient and very professional. Vet techs and doctors are also very knowledgeable. So yes, I would definitely recommend them. Also recommend that you have a look at their multiple wellness programs where you can cover multiple services for a decent monthly fee. Since usually these types of services are average expensive for everyone, this is actually a great idea to work towards prevention, your healthy pet and your peace of mind. And no, this is not an ad. It's just that it's relieving to have a place where you know that you can trust your babies to the team.

I did SO much research when I got my first dog. I wanted to take her to a great veterinarian to make sure she got the best possible care. She was the first dog I got on my own. Everyone at Camelwest loves my girl! And she loves them too! She's always so excited to see them. So, when I got my second dog, I bring him here too. I always recommend them to everyone I talk to. They are all amazing! Update: It's now been three years. I have two dogs now. My second puppy is a nervous little dude and everyone is so wonderful and patient with him. I highly recommend them STILL!

I have been bringing my dog here since 2013 and they have been amazing, I came in recently because my frenchie started eating rocks from the back yard. Thankfully there were no obstructions:), while I was there for her emergency visit I had my new puppy with me and the doctor was able to squeeze an exam in for him since he needed his next phase of immunizations so he would be on time. This vet clinic is awesome. Dr. Sander is very kind and empathetic while also being direct in her medical care for her patients. We recently had to put down our beloved senior pup Maggie and Dr. Sander was extremely supportive and warm throughout the entire process. This choice and Maggie's loss has been painful but we could not have asked for a better vet in this experience. She really took the time to comfort our Maggie and myself during the euthanasia process. Nothing felt rushed or "just like another procedure". The receptionist was kind and empathetic to us during this experience as well. I bring my cat here as well and will continue bringing my pets to this clinic and recommending this clinic to others.

Took my cat to have the vet look at his ears. I made my appt online which was super easy. When I arrived it wasn't too busy. Only one other person with a dog in the lobby. The staff at the counter were very friendly. Dr Carrie Saunder was great. She took the time to thoroughly examine my cat. She asked questions and the appt did not seem rushed. Any tests that were needed she gave a price before, which is helpful for people on a budget. Overall I'm very happy with my experience at camelwest and will be bringing my pets here.

It was good. I think you should go with the $70/mo plan if you plan on getting all of your shots, but if going for one visit to check out your animal, the one visit is good if you don't plan on getting all your shots.

I love Camelwest! The facility is very clean and calm. The exam rooms are well kept and comfortable for my cat. Raven is very shy but I could tell she enjoyed her time there. I didn’t catch the assistant’s name but she was very lovely and so gentle with Raven. Raven saw Dr. Flick and she was very nice and professional. She was able to answer all my questions and keep me informed on what needed to be done in the future. Dr. Flick was also very gentle with Raven. 🤍 She did not push anything on me or tell me that I needed this or needed that. It was all suggestions, which I liked! The only problem I had visiting here was the check-in woman was kind of giving off a bad attitude. No greeting, but an annoyed look on her face. I wasn’t comfortable with it. The other front desk lady was very nice though. Thank you, Dr. Flick and Camelwest!

I've been going to Camelwest Animal Hospital for 6+ months. Camelwest was recommended to me by a neighbor because I am new to the area. Dr. Sanders and her team are incredible. When Valkyrie and I go to her appointments, the front office personnel is always kind, courteous, and attentive. This process has been on-going more than six months (my fault not the doctors) and has featured life-or-death decisions. Dr. Sanders always offers various options, as well as the benefits and drawbacks of each so there are no surprises. We have a long road ahead of us. And I can't imagine being able to do this without Dr. Sanders and the staff at Camelwest Animal Hospital.

Good vibes from the moment we arrived. Receptionist was friendly and efficient. Waiting room was not crowded. Place was clean, actually I think it was the cleanest vet office I’ve ever been in. No obvious urine spell. We had to wait a few minutes but when the Dr. arrived she spent a long time with us discussing possible treatments for our senior dog. I was very impressed and will be back again.

I'd give more than five stars if I could, and I'll never go anywhere else. Incredible staff that genuinely care for your pets and go out of their way to keep them comfortable. Our Great Dane is prone to seizures stemming from horrible prior vet visits elsewhere, and it made it impossible to go through the door of any vet without causing another. A family member mentioned Camelwest, and we called. Camelwest has been so unbelievably kind and flexible to work around our dog's needs, and she's began to warm up to their staff. I can’t even express how much peace of mind they restored for me today. I had a sick puppy that another clinic told me I would have to wait in my car for two hours to be seen. Not because he was sick but because they don’t allow anyone inside until it’s time to be checked out. It’s 91 degrees out and the top was off my Jeep. I couldn’t go home and I lived less then five minutes away. Thank goodness I found camelwest animal hospital. They didn’t have any openings but they took us in immediately. The technician, Arianna, was so kind and patient, and omg, the way she was with Dean just made my heart so happy. Dr. Flick, was incredible. I was never pressured into tests we didn’t need, food they thought would be better or guilted for thinking I could fix what was wrong on my own. Carrie Sander and her team provide exceptional service each visit. I have a dog and cat that both go to their offices and every visit is worth the cost. They take time to go over what they did, how they are doing and provide options if they need additional work or medicine. The have also supported me outside of the office which you don't get very often with vets. I highly recommend using Camelwest for all your pets needs. They will take care of you and your pet how they should be taken care of. I will never go to another vet.

She treated our specific case with a lot of care and dedication. *All vet clinics are all curbside appointments* That being said, sounds kinda lame right? Doesn't really do justice on taking your pet to get check while you're not in the same room...but actually the docs are very responsive and give you call while examining your pet simultaneously. so if I would recommend having a list of questions prehand before taking your pet in. They did a phenomenal job and took the time check my beagle. Great care and always loving

I appreciate this vet office for the reasonable prices attentive care and professionalism. They are not overprice. Animal care is expensive but the prices are affordable and effective. I had a quote for $600 for dog X rays here they gave me meds, consultation, and x rays under $350. Thank you for the vets and vet assistants that keep my dogs healthy

I have always had great service here. I have taken my Aussie here a few times. From the moment I walk in the office to when I leave, it has always been so easy. The Receptionist, the Vet Technician and the Vet are attentive, patient as they listen to my concerns. They accommodate and care to the needs of my dog like I expect. During this Covid epidemic, I have to admit I was a little bit concerned how this was going to go with a first time patient. The Vet Tech came out to my car, greeted me, wrote down notes and then met my dog. This was going to be my border collie Stella’s first visit here. It went amazing. I took notice as Stella walked away from me on a leash like it was no big deal. I watched as positive reinforcement was so inevitable given by the tech. After awhile I received a phone call from the Vet with a full update and my questions answered along with suggestions of what to be aware of. That’s a big deal for me because I don’t like surprises. Upon the tech returning her to me, she gave me all the documentation needed in case of any issues. Stella was was not stressed in any way shape or form after having her immunizations and full check up. The Vet Tech brought her back to my car and loaded her in her crate. Stella even gave her a paw/hand shake. What a great experience! Thank you! Kudos to you all at Camelback Animal Hospital!

This was my first visit here and I loved it. Everyone was so understanding of my dog that is petrified of animal clinics. With COVID I wasn’t allowed to accompany him into the facility, leaving me very nervous how he would feel. The staff was so sweet with him and called me numeral times while he was there and I left feeling 100% comfortable with them. I have a 120 lb Cane Corso and it takes a delicate balance to be able to control his strength and comfort him, but the team at Camelwest did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone.

Camelwest is one of the best vet clinics I've worked with in my life. They are always attentive, thoughtful, and compassionate. From routine care to end of life care, I have been able to count on them for stellar veterinary care for my dogs. I have worked with all three vets and each is wonderful; and all of the staff are amazing! We recently had to put our oldest dog down and they could not have been better! Through one of the more painful experiences of my life, they were compassionate and caring. They got us in right away, took good care of us, and checked in afterwards to offer sympathy and support. For my other two dogs, they provide excellent care and always give me all of my options in terms of both best veterinary care and cost. I love that they are always thoughtful about finances and don't push the highest cost treatment. Right now, I live fairly close. So they are also convenient for me. However, I will continue to use them if I ever move to the east valley. They are the best!

Since you know, it's covid time. Their way of handling the pandemic is great! When they came out to the car to pick up my 10 yr old orange tabby, who is on a leash. They took the time to get him comfortable and carried him inside. The dr called me immediately after the checkup to give me an update. She (Dr. Sander) was thorough and gave me options for my senior cat. I decided to do a blood panel even though signs of him being healthy were all there. The pricing of the blood panel was fairly decent. We figured, test results won't be back until after the weekend, she ended up calling me that Saturday afternoon with the results of the blood panel. Fastest I have ever heard back from a vet! I definitely recommend them to anyone that needs to their fur baby in.

This place is amazing, as is the staff and the veterinarians. I am new to the area and my dog needed medical attention. I called them around 12 noon and they said that they would try to fit me in at 1: 30. Said it could be 15 minutes or it could be a couple hours depending on how busy they were. My dog was seen within 20 minutes. The staff and the veterinarian were extremely loving and caring. My dog is extremely shy and nervous they did an excellent job at making her feel at home. This is definitely the place that I will continue to take my dog in the future.

My dog has had a few ear issues and the vet really wanted to make sure that the bacterial infection stayed away rather than coming back with a vengeance! I called to see if I could schedule a same day appointment at 11am when my dog showed severe signs of limping and pain. My normal doctor is out of town so I made several calls in hopes of getting her seen the same day elsewhere. This was not an emergency and if I could not be seen the same day then I was fine making an appointment for the following day. Alice was very nice and said she could work me in at 215 but I would have to wait longer than if I had made an appointment. I was prepared to wait because I was thankful to get her in. We arrived at 2 pm, filled out paperwork and sat until 4:05 when I decided I could no longer sit on the wooden benches and hold my extremely full bladder. While waiting I was never informed of how long I was going to need to wait but I was aware that they were busy. My problem with this experience is this: DO NOT schedule a work in appointment if you cannot work them in. I did not think it was appropriate to keep me waiting for 2 hours and I had a bad feeling they were going to charge me an arm and a leg if I was eventually seen and my appointment pushed past 5pm. I have no idea how the doctors are and I'm sure they are great. Just beware of a same day appointment! They only care about the previously scheduled pets. EDIT: Bumping the clinic from a 1 to a 3 after receiving a call from Alice apologizing for the wait. They do care about everyone.

I just recently started taking my cat in to the Camelwest Animal Hospital. They have been absolutely kind through everything. I had a bit of a complicated schedule and they worked hard to work with me on it to make sure that my kitten got the best care that he could get. There was one small thing that they couldn't help with, and instead of trying and making it worse they recommended me to a specialist to fix the problem. The receptionists, nurses, and doctors are all very kind people that truly care about what they are doing. Also the free coffee is a plus! If you start going here I definitely recommend doing their monthly plan. They have a lot of stuff all in one package that gives you everything you would need for your bestial best friend.

We brought our kitten here after finding out he had FeLV from a different vet. We were scared and wanted a second opinion. Before he was even tested Dr McCready took us into a room and calmed us by answering questions and providing a plan of attack. Our other vet of 15 years didn't even have their Dr break the news to us let alone talk to us. We have 4 cats and 2 guinea pigs and we moved our family here! All our cats were tested and vaccinated right away. Something our other vet never mentioned. Today we took our cat Sally for a tooth cleaning and possible extraction and we are well above satisfied! The quote was right on! The staff was friendly and caring! The call from the Dr explaining everything! And my Sally came right home and ate, groomed, and a little light playing. Camelwest is the best hospital around, no doubt. We originally took our dog Zeus here very worried. We had just moved to Phoenix and knew nothing about the area. This place was close by and had great reviews so we decided to give them a try, and we’ve always gone back since. We saw Dr. McCready about some unknown issues our dog was having. Every single time Zeus had a problem, we made sure to request Dr. McCready! Although nothing could be found at that moment, we later found our dog had a severe neurological disorder. Dr. McCready went out of her way to do everything she could! We walked in as soon as they opened without an appointment and she worked with us every step of the way. We ended up having to put our boy down but we knew that she cared. It was peaceful and, although a sad moment, we knew she was knowledgeable and did what she could. I would recommend this place!! We miss our Zeus but Camelwest made our passing of our boy that much easier. Thanks so much!!!!

This is the first review I have ever been compelled to write. Dr. McCready and the other staff are absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend anyone with an exotic pet to take them there. My little guinea pig had become very lethargic, wasn't eating much, and lost a lot of weight; we were so concerned that it was a URI (upper respiratory infection) that we called Camelwest and tried to get an appointment for that night to have him looked at. The woman we talked to said that they were all booked except for the next day. I guess she could tell how nervous I was for my Stiggy's health because she said to come in as soon as we could that night and they would work us in. They went above and behond what they needed to to make sure that he got the best care possible. Along with the wonderful help and the extensive knowledge of Dr. McCready, we were able to find out that Stiggy had Pneumonia and were able to treat it right away. Our 1 year old Chi was instantly at home & relaxed (unheard of for him) He was also at home with the vet, Dr, McCready. (again, unheard of) Dr, McCready was fantastic, very professional, very knowledgeable (yes I kept peppering her with questions) she did not mind a bit.
