I can't say enough good things (make that GREAT things) about the staff! They are always so attentive and compassionate with all the fur babies that come in! We take all our 5 babies only there and have had positive experiences with all the veterinarians! We appreciate all they do and how they do it!

Cannot say enough great things about this vet!! I usually come here for my dog’s vaccines (office visit is reasonable at $45 and shots are also reasonable! Plus they use baby needs for my dog to make it less painful). However, my dog unexpectedly got extremely sick. I went as a walk-in and was seen within the hour. Dr. Colmer is a GEM! He was very thorough and has a great bedside manner. He kept me updated every step and went over all possible treatment options. Dr. Colmer and the entire staff went above and beyond! Everyone here is so kind. Very thankful for Philadelphia Animal Hospital!

🤦‍♂️ Seven puppies and what I thought would be a nightmare not only for us but the staff as well and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! The staff was not only kind, courteous and patient but extremely informative and supportive too. Overall, I'd have to say it was the best experience I've had at a vet or animal hospital period and will definitely be going back for mom, dad and the kitties as needed! 💞 🐺🐱

I wish I could give Dr Daria Rebbecchi 1000 stars. She was so patient with my over-anxious dog and took the time to answer all my questions, which I’ve found some other vets (and people doctors!) tend to rush through. Everyone was so kind and helpful from check-in to check-out. I’m moving an hour away next month and wont even consider looking for a closer vet…we’ll take the drive 🥰

This is the best vet I've ever been to. So much so that I travel from NYC to bring my dog here now. I found this magical place when I was staying in the area during COVID and my dog had an emergency. I've never been anywhere like it -- no smell of any kind, all pets calm, everyone genuinely caring and even finding ways to save us money on diagnosis and treatment. The facility is extensive as well. I cannot say enough good things about everyone I've encountered here.

Highly recommend this place for all your pet’s care. Staff is friendly and helpful. The vets make you and your fur baby feel at ease and the prices are reasonable. If you are a last minute appointment that was squeezed in, expect to wait. It’s only reasonable.

My dog accidentally got out of the house on 12/31. She was found 6 days later and turned into ACCT. I picked her up from ACCT and immediately took her to PAH. Her rear right back leg was damaged. The wound was so bad I prepared myself to hear it would need to be amputated. Not the case. Her wound was dressed and she was fitted with a splint. She had a 3 day stay before being released to me. I expected an exorbitant vet bill. Not the case. The price point was more than fair, with her requiring splint changes for up to 6 weeks. Staff is professional with them encouraging you to pay cash in order to receive 10% off your services. The facility is also beautiful and aesthetically appealing. This is our new vet for wellness care and treatment.

Wonderful experience. I lived in the city and there were urgent care places closer to me the wait here was much shorter and then also have a parking lot. The prices are affordable. I drive for Uber and I am a pet sitter if you want to decipher what affordable is for me Both the technician and the doctor were so gentle with my cat and made it so easy for him without scaring him at all The doctor explained all the options to me and how they would work which made it so much easier to decide which treatment I thought was best for Cosmos My cat is so much better he is already up running around and breathing easy after having a respiratory infection Thank you for helping him he feels so much better

We had 2, four week old kittens we found abandoned on side of the road. We tried other animal hospitals that wanted us to wait 6hrs before they could be seen and $600. We desided to go to this place and they welcomed us without an appointment and the wait time was 45 minutes, granted we got there when they just opened. As for the cost was $154 dollars far far less then the other places. Staff was very knowledgeable and professional.

The staff is super nice, the wellness plan is a lifesaver it includes a lot of awesome stuff like vaccines, discounts on meds and tests. Fees are reasonable and the dog pool is a great perk. They offer emergency services and open 7 days.

My dogs and I have had multiple great experiences here, both for annual well visits as well as walk-in sick visits. I recently brought my two dogs, who are very fearful of being at the vet, in for a nail trim. The vet techs who helped us were SO patient and kind. They calmly built rapport with my dogs and were able to clip their nails very quickly. I definitely give this place kudos for the way they deal with nervous dogs!

This establishment is incredible, and prices are unbeatable. The staff are great and do everything they can in order to best help you and your animals. Especially Dr.Rebbecchi, he is THE BEST Doctor and actually truly cares about the well-being of your animal(s). His wonderful daughter, lol, is also a very - VERY special Gem 💎 and is great with animals. Be nice to her because she is extremely attentive. Be patient, especially if you're a walk-in. 😘

Great experience. Went on a Sunday morning as a walk-in, just before they opened. I checked in at 10, and was done by 11, paid up and all. Service is great, from the front desk, the prelim exam, to the vet’s assessment. Pricing is incredibly accessible but above all, they put an anxious cat dad at ease.

This has been my choice of hospital for my pets since they were on Lindbergh Blvd! The staff is so pleasant and the facility is always clean and smells not like animals, surprisingly, lol. They only treat what you come in for and there are no hidden fees or products they choose to push on you.

The level of care here is exceptional. Dr. Rebbecchi is amazing. He helped our dog when others could not. She was so sick when we brought her here she could barely move. He quickly assessed the situation, did x rays and bloodwork on the spot, and analyzed the lab results as we waited. After a brief stay in the hospital, she came back to us a new dog. You will not find better, more affordable veterinary care anywhere in Philadelphia.

Been going since Dec 2021. Vets have always been great. Never try to recommend anything more than what is necessary to help your pet. I appreciate them not scaring you or upselling because they can. Front desk staff seem to be getting a lot less friendly though. Not sure if they're just busier but it's not very pleasant interacting with them. I asked to see my bill before I paid and they didn't even want to show me. Just held it up where I could barely see it. If someone asks to see the bill just let them look at it. It's not a big deal. Anyway. I will be back. It's still a good place to get animal treatment. I'm not there for the receptionist after all

Staff was extremely kind and my very anxious cat was super comfortable with the Dr. They addressed my concerns about an experience with a previous vet at a different clinic and were honest and upfront with what my cat actually needed. Very affordable too - wellness exam, two vaccines, and eye medication came up to 140 which is much less than other places I've gone to. Best vet experience so far, couldn't recommend them enough.

I only went here if it was an absolute NEED or emergency. Fees are higher than many other places. My dogs get the same service elsewhere, for a lot less. The front desk staff is ok. You and your dog can also go swimming in their pool.

They have worked hard to work with clients and trainers around Cooperative Care & Force free vet care. Personally, Dr Larry Rebecchi went above and beyond to ensure my service dog was fully vetted and ready for emergency flight to New Mexico to see my parents before they passed. Without him that flight would not have been possible. Dr Daria Rebecchi has been amazing with my dog Percy who has a lot of behavioral anxiety and fears but also epilepsy. I’ve been taking my babies here since 2009. Always an amazing experience. I love this place. Last Sunday I had to put my baby done and the compassion and sincerity I felt from the staff was so loving and I could tell that they cared for my baby even in her last minutes. I thank them for their service and care. ***Update**** I got my baby’s ashes today from Paws to Heaven When I say I am in tears. My baby passed on Sunday and I was called to come get her ashes today. I knew I would be emotional because she’s been apart of my family since I was 15 years old, but when I opened that box and saw this beautiful red wood box with a name plate that read “Chocolate” I cried. It was so beautiful. It literally broke me. The certificate of cremation and The Rainbow Bridge, really are beautiful touches. I’m still teary eyes. If I could post pictures I would. Admittedly, they can be very hard to get a hold of on the phone, but once I make it through, someone has always been quick to help and extremely accommodating when making appointments, especially in emergency situations. I've been going to Philadelphia Animal Hospital for about 13 years at this point and love the care my pets have received. No pressure ever, and a really friendly, reassuring staff. I suspect the front desk is always busy for a reason - those of us who use this vet really like their service.

Came PAH when my cat was very badly injured. She ended up having to get her leg amputated, and everyone there made it as easy as that situation could be. Everyone was kind, patient, always answered my phone calls and stayed in constant communication. Also, any kind of aftercare needed after her initial surgery was covered. I walked in today because my kitty who I rescued seven years ago was out of sorts. He apparently had a stroke and when I arrived with him he was too compromised to be saved. It hurt bad. But I trusted them, and have trusted them since 2011, because they helped me keep one of my dogs alive who was hit by a car in 2011. When my dog was hit at that time another highly known emergency vet hospital told to me to euthanize my dog (who is still alive today), but I didn't, and I trusted Dr. Rebbecchi and his team. So glad that I did! Anyway, my kitty couldn't be saved today. Dr. Rebbecchi and his team are kind and compassionate. The vet tech hugged me today and let me cry for over an hour in the room alone. The doctor explained everything that was happening to me and allowed me to have time to decide how I wanted to handle EVERYTHING! I have a paw print of my kitty and I can honestly say that they went above and beyond in such a difficult time. LOVE THEM! LOVE THEM!

The doctors here are professional, reliable, and thorough, and the receptionists are great but seem to be overworked as of late. In the past few months, it's been nearly impossible to get through on the phone, and even more unlikely to get ahold of someone without a 10+ minute hold. It's far too time consuming to get an appointment, prescription refills, or any answers to questions. I used to recommend this place to anyone with a car to get out of the city to the vet, but unfortunately they seem to be unable to support the amount of clients these days.

He's a super nice guy and took the time to be thorough my cat and me, was up front about thoughts about various treatments and costs, and overall put us both (I hope, she doesn't talk) at ease. Got tests back next day, was able to get an appointment next day I called as well. Overall good experience and I'd be happy to go back.

This place used to be good been going here since it was on Lindbergh Ave but now it is horrible and so are the vets that they're hiring. I took my pup in for his shots and told the vet about some issues he was having and she literally just brushed them off as being nothing serious, when in all actuality my pup was definitely having a issue or two that needed attention. Also the receptionist is in the wrong line of work her attitude is horrible. I will return to my old vet I no longer trust this place with my fur babies they just push you in and out and take your money. They really expected me to pay for another office visit a few days later after we told the vet about the problem and she didn't address at that time.

My chihuahua had an accident -- I thought he'd broken his spine. We came to Philadelphia Animal Hospital for the first time as a walk-in emergency and were struck immediately by how spotless the place is, and how it smells nothing like pets or medicine or cleanser. It's lovely. My dog was seen by the owner's daughter, who was exceptionally kind and professional, and super sweet with our scared and injured pet. She assured us that he will be okay will minimal treatment, and then her dad came in, still proud as the day she graduated vet school. They're an adorable pair. They suggested the least costly treatments for my dog's herniated disc, and couldn't have been nicer. All in all, this was one of the most positive veterinary experiences I've ever had, and I've had 50+ years of many dogs and cats.

So far I've only had my dog get a quick check up so she could use the pool, and also obviously used the pool. It should be noted that this was in December 2020 at the height of covid, but the wait was very long (hence my docking of one star). The pool was really nice though. Even in December it felt good in the enclosed room, the water was warm, and one of the employees got a life vest for my puppy. The doctor also seemed attentive even though it was a quick check up. He seemed like he enjoyed his job, at the very least. My dog has an appointment to get spayed in a few weeks so I'll update this if necessary

We had an issue with our 14 year old dog. He had a Mass on his leg and the vet said to have it removed. He recommended this surgery center, did an evaluation, x-ray and blood work and we scheduled the visit. One month later we had it done. He recovered completely, no cancer and he is golden.

The most amazing vets we could ask for. We used them as a regular vet for our dog Piper for years, but they really have shone for me since she was attacked by another dog and has needed more frequent attention. They have fit us in whenever needed for appointments, and so kindly have let us bring her in to express her bladder at no cost almost daily for two weeks when we were struggling to do it at home. They truly care for your pet, and we are grateful!

Walked in with a sick pup and many questions walked out feeling alot better and questions answered. The doctor actually worked with me on my budget and actually cared about my pet when every other vet I called only cared about the money. There reasonable and very straight fwrd. I went to take my cat there to get an exam, vaccinations, and a neuter and everything was good at least I thought it was until I got home after picking him up. When I let him out the carrier I noticed that his nails were cut which I DID NOT ASK THEM TO DO and then seen that they cut one of his nails extremely too short like the blood vessel was cut, he barely has a nail left and it’s extremely sensitive he won’t even let me touch his paw right now. His surgery went good I believe he seems fine in that aspect although when I got him he had blood all over his tail and bottom area and every time he is laying down he twitches bad, not sure if it has something to do with the anesthesia wearing off or not but I’m hoping it stops. And I did not receive any medication for him after surgery

I took my dog here for a check up and teeth cleaning. The people who work here are so sweet and professional. They ran on time and were thorough, a seemingly tough balance to strike. The prices were reasonable. The teeth cleaning was around $400 including bloodwork and anaesthesia. I feel like I've finally found my vet after too long of putting it off!

My first visit here was a very skeptical one due to bad experiences at multiple other veterinarians, my cat had had an ongoing issue for months on end that no one can figure out along with hundreds of dollars spent....within my first two visits with Dr. Rebecchi at this practice my cat was already feeling better and has gained her weight back! My first time coming here, They need to hire better workers. Coming into the front desk a lady with brown hair talking to me while having an attitude and no eye contact back. Then, i tried talking to another worker and she answered my question while not even looking at me and walking pass like she couldn’t give me a second of her time. My puppy was having loose stool so I made an appointment with them. They requested a stool sample which I got about two days after the visit and brought it into them. They told me it would be two to three days for results so I waited for a call. I got none, so I called them. They had no results yet, and my dogs stool had solidified after the antibiotic and probiotic she'd been given at the initial visit. I'll admit, I forgot about the stool sample so, my sister called about it today. Come to find out, she has some sort of worms,and she needs medicine to be treated. I never received a call because, after giving them the correct number to reach me at TWICE, they still had my old number on file. I've had her at daycare since and now I have to tell them about the worms just in case. I'm beyond disappointed because they'd been so good up until this.

I've taken my dogs to Philadelphia Animal Hospital when they were on Lindbergh Blvd. I've taken my dogs to the new facility. Had my 13 year old Pom for dental cleaning with teeth removal. My young ratchi was having serious digestive problems and I was able to get her in. It turned out to be worms which were treated. They do nail clipping at a low cost. The new place is lovely and has an outdoor pet pool.

My cat needed his infected paw treated on a sunday afternoon..I waited maybe a half hour which the receptionist warned me of the wait. I took a very sick cat here that I found on Saturday. The vet was the BEST vet I've encountered in Philadelphia. Attentive. Supportive. Professional. I will be taking my others animals here from now on for anything serious. Sure, the care was a bit more expensive than other low-cost vet care options here in Philly, but you felt like this was someone who REALLY cared about the animal in front of them and its situation. $188 for assessment, feline/leukemia test, antibiotics, ear mite medication...could've been worse, I'm sure. The place, in general, is very comforting, clean and welcoming. Plus, what a relief they are open on a Saturday for walk-ins!!! I called around and most vet clinics here in Philly were closed or not picking up the phone. Seriously, if you have an emergency with your animals or a homeless animal, you couldn't get better/quicker care.

I switch to PAH after 30+ years at another hospital. I've been dealing with Dr. Chapman for my cats and I love his knowledge, calm demeanor and approach to my babies. The entire staff is warm and friendly. Their services are top-notch - they have a very high standard of care. I am in the medical profession, so I pay attention to the 'how and why' treatment and care is given. You aren't waiting forever to be seen and your appointments are never rushed. Their exam fees and vaccines are extremely reasonable. Oh, the office is immaculate, too. I've met and spoken with Dr. Rebbecchi several times in passing and he is a man who cares about animals and wants to give his clients the best service possible. Making this move to PAH is the best decision I could make for me and my furkids.

I have been with Dr. Ribecchi (sp) since he started the Philadelphia Animal Hospital in the mid 1990s. He and his staff are wonderful. I have seen his business grow from 1 Vet, himself and 1 Receptionist to two addtl Vets to several clerical and tech persons, and now encompasses an entire facility including boarding of animals and a swimming pool for canines. You can't go wrong by embracing The Philadelphia Animal Hospital. I super highly recommend it.

Dr. Rebecchi is the best around. We took our dog to an emergency room and they did nothing but run up a big bill and the next day they wanted us to put our dog to sleep. We called and talked to Dr. Rebecchi and he told us to bring him home and then bring him in to see him the next morning. We were very upset all night worried. The next morning we brought him in and Dr Rebecchi examined him and told us to trust him and do what he told us. We followed his instructions and our dog went today to see Dr.Rebecchi and he is 100 percent. The other place had him knocking on deaths door and if it wasn't for Dr. Rebecchi we would have lost our Rocky. Thank you for your help.
