Our 7 week old roitweller puppy caught parvo, the staff ensured home treatment was affordable in my budget but ensured it was a effective tx, then provide free follow up assessments on her condition, first follow up visit really wasn’t sure she was going to make it BUT NEVER NOT ONCE DID THE STAFF THERE EVER GIVE UP, we switched up some medicine but the next free assessment our roitweller puppy is in the clear and SURVIVED despite the high mortality rate in this breed …. We can’t thank you enough for never giving up and continued giving excellent medical care to our fur baby, sincerely from the family of Tiny Caesar

My senior cat had become I’ll and lost weight, could barely walk, and slept more than normal. I took him to Swaim’s. The staff were very kind and listened as I tried to describe how he had been, and how long I’d noticed the changes. They sent me home with medicine. I took him back a couple of days later for his check-up appointment. Unfortunately, he wasn’t any better and I had to accept it was his time to cross the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone was very sympathetic and gentle with my little Rhett Butler, who purred the entire time. I guess he knew I was doing what I could to make his crossing easier.

My cat Red and I just got home from our first visit and I couldn't be happier! Red's appointment was for a routine checkup and a nail trim. I filled out the appointment request online and they called me the next day. The staff is amazing! They were very kind and gentle to Red. They answered all my questions and concerns professionally. A few months ago I took my little min pin/chihuahua in to seek some better options for his heart worm treatments. I had gone to a different clinic before and was struggling with his treatment costs and how we were treated. I was scared for him not knowing anything about heart worms and if he was going to be okay and make it. I looked up a few places and asked around and heard many great things about swaims. I went ahead and gave them a shot. They booked Loui in pretty quickly and gave me an affordable treatment plan for his heart worms. Not only were they affordable but they actually cared and were so kind. Every time I bring Loui in they are all so excited and absolutely love him. Swaims made sure he was going to be okay and educated me through the whole process. They were attentive and always gave me updates. Fast forward to now and Loui is heart worm free and healthy. Huge thank you to Swaims they saved my little baby's life. <3

Friendly and compassionate people. They worked in our beloved cat Pete in on a MONDAY. Couldn't get him in anywhere else. They were very nice and I think he got the best care they could give. They were able to do a curb side visit, which allowed me to stay outside while they took care of him. The vet called to prior approve any treatment after she explained his condition and how she wished to proceed. A very pleasant experience, and I don't think that Pete even minded it that much.

Clean and friendly. But I don't feel they go over everything they have in the animal's file before they ask if you want a test done. I was told that my animal didn't have a certain test done by his last Veterinary. So wanted me to reschedule one again. I said no because I knew he had, had this test before. Then when we were finished and left with the detailed information page sure enough it was giving to him correct not by his last Veterinary but by them a few months before.

Literally went to this place at 415 on a friday to pick up meds for a friends dog. There was zero parking and the line of "to be seen" dogs was out the door and around the corner. Either this is the best vet or they have the best docs. I was pretty impressed which ever it was...

12/21/21 Job well done yet again!! My sister had to take her pet in today and make the difficult decision to put her pet down today. The staff were all AWESOME during a very difficult time....Great place for walk ins or I recommend setting an appointment. Wonderful with my pets. Went out of their way when I had to put my dog down. Have taken multiple pets here for Years. Just an update. They treated my baby like their own for years. They were so helpful when I had to put her down after 16 years. Thanks again everyone!!!

The people that do the shot clinic are amazing!!! I have a 100lb boxer/pit mix that is a very strong girl, so I can’t control her and am scared to get her out of the truck. They will come to my truck and give her shots, then today I didn’t have my hubby with me so I asked them to cut her nails in the truck, there was a very nice man came with me with a lead rope, got her out of the truck, walked her over, and waited with us to get her nails cut, then walked her back and put her back in. They are always very sweet and patient with my dogs and that is greatly appreciated! And the cost is great and it’s really helps not having to pay a office visit! Keep up the good work!!

This place cares for my cat ! They do what they can with the money I have. They want my cat to live. In 2014 took my cat Ace in had liver problems and they saved him. This time he has liver problems again. They gave him a shot and I took IV home give him daily. He been wanting to eat chicken. Oh and they sent hone a can high in protein and other things. I feed him about 3 times a day. He is doing better now LOVE this place. They live our animals and care about us to.

I've been so pleased with the service I've received from this business. I can't afford to go to the vet closest to my house. I heard about this place from a friend. I first came in with my dog having ear infections. We are currently working on this. However, recently my dog had an ulcer in her eye and needed to have it removed. They were so compassionate to my dog and I. It was really difficult for me but they remained calm and explained step by step what would happen. Also, Lucy and Desiree at the front counter are so sweet. They take walk-ins. Check this place out. I don't think you will be disappointed.

How can I possibly put into words what the team at Swaim's means to my familyother than they are like family to us? We've been a customer for 30+ years now and will never go to another vet! We have so much trust and love for the entire Swaim's team! The care and love they show to our Maggie (and us too!) is so evident. In the summer of 2021, Cassy and Dr. Propst showed Maggie so much love both before and after Maggie's spay surgery. It's not difficult to see why they chose veterinary medicine - they're tops in our book! Cassy is so incredibly special to us. I don't know what we would do without her. I've used this vet for about ten years. I've always had positive experiences. When they did renovations a few years ago I believe the office visit price went up but that's to be expected. It's still cheaper than anywhere else, and the doctors are always great. I use the vet supply more than the clinic nowadays. They have great prices on maintenance meds for cats and dogs.

The Vet's and staff and super nice. They're usually pretty busy but the wait is worth the care you receive. In the summer is when they have their low cost vaccine clinics and those are a money saver! I recommend all my friends and family looking for a vet here.

Don't go here if you DON'T love your fur baby..because, they will hug you and love your babies and grieve with you when they pass. I have been going here for 20 years now, exclusively. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. The staff has been kind, professional, and very loving to all my dogs. My current one, they are very patient with her. I have seen them over the years, consistently, care for animals when the owners didn't have the means to pay for service. They have always given me the less expensive option, while still giving the best possible care. I have gone there multiple times to buy the medicine for new born pups, I've rescued strays, and they have been kind of enough to give me discounts. I am deeply grateful for the care they have demonstrated in front of me, consistently. I don't want to overdue it, but this place is amazing, and I encourage everyone to go there. Only thing, be just a little patient and respectful, they are usually very busy, because their hearts are so big, they take care of everyone. Just keep that in mind. Blows my mind sometimes how disrespectful people in the waiting areas can be sometimes, again that's just some people, nothing to do with the staff or company. tl;dr This place is a solid 10/10 I love this place, and I have 0 doubt my dog will be taken care of, and the price will be the most affordable in the state. Can't recommend enough

We had our chihuahua tested through the Bella foundation on Saturday and found out she was heart worm positive. We went in without an appointment on Monday. Yes we had to wait quite a while since we didn't have anappointment and we were the last patient they say that day, but the staff still took their time with our baby girl and took the time to explain her treatment plan to us. The prices for not only their vet clinic but also supplies of all kinds are a lot less expensive here and the staff is always nice and they live animals. You can purchase everything from dog/cat/horse food and also buy the serum to give your own booster shots to your animals, like for folks that live on a ranch or farm. They know their stuff

He made a wrong prognosis and set medical cost at very high amount. I went to another vet. Simple ear infection. Low cost . Taught me how to do it myself. I will still go to swaims for products. Went to the Saturday vaccine/dipnclip very hot, not enough shade to be standing in line for an hour+, should've had more clerks. Took longer to sign in than to get shots! Maybe have sign for newcomers to explain layout. Was told to get in dip line then told dog needed shots first so had to get back in other line. Couldn't stand all that time so sat in truck and almost missed the dip!

We nought our shots for our fogs and the first of th series for the puppies as they went with their new pemers we wld give thrm tbeir shot. We had a few visits at their vet...very nice very affordable.just am all around hood businedd. Wouldn't know what to do if they closed. I love the service and the way they treat my Chihuahuas. Been coming here for about a year now and every time I leave with my mind at ease. When my penny got parvo they gave me hope even though her chances of survival where very low. They walked me step by step on what to do and how to help her get better at home and penny lived =) They always explain to you things clearly and make sure to answer all of your questions. One of my best friends recommended Swaim. Our 17year old dachshund had Convolesed and was blind and deaf and unable to use her back legs and we made the decision to euthanize her. From the first call I made to Swaim I was treated with kindness and compassion. I didn’t have an appointment but they got us right in. The whole process all be it sad was made somewhat better by the caring staff of Swaim. Would highly recommend.

I had to get my dog in to a vet for flee issues that I couldn't control and his hair loss due to FAD. They advised me that they had a walk-in clinic Saturday from 9am-11am so I said I would be there close to 9am. (here's your 1st sign, she informed me) The young woman advised that I should be there at 8am when they open to get on the sign-in sheet because they fill up quick. (there's your 2nd sign) Boy she wasn't kidding. Even though I waited the hour prior, they got me back and out in in an hour and a half. Now while you may think that is a long time, it was a first visit and I had questions and wanted to get to know the doctor. Also, they had an emergency pet who had been backed over by a car. I think their staff (Lisa and Marielena) are warm, inviting and knowledgeable, Dr. Stevens was fabulous and everyone else I dealt with were wonderful and helpful. (there's your 3rd sign...) I have a much happier dog now and I can't say enough good things about Swaim's. I don't care if 'young vets purchased the business', everyone their is great. I'm going to be a repeat pet parent. If anyone complains about the time spent there, remember this...they are giving you and your pet the time to educate and help you understand what is currently going on and the time you need to ask questions and get answers. So if you don't like waiting, go back, get what you need done and get out without any other communication so the next person doesn't have to wait. I'd give them 5 stars but realistically, no one is perfect.

I love Swaim Serum, they're awesome! My fur baby has been through some stuff that has made him snappy when scared. This visit we muzzled him but before it was over he was best friends with, and let the nurse carry him around without the muzzle. They also take the time to explain the meds he needed and how to use them. (Ear infection) I recommend them to everyone I meet with fur babies.

My dog is 11 years old and her baby is 6. She got pregnant by a dog twice her size. She is now a happy, healthy dog. I had to take her here, and had little money. The doctors here did everything needed including a baby bottle and formula for her puppy, a emergency hystrictomy and C-section. My dog would not be alive if not for this clinic. My animals have been patients of Swaim my entire life. I have never had a bad experience.

Wonder full place had to go 3 times in one month, had a cat that woke up one morning , he was not doing well, a new feline flu has come out and its so new there is no curen lost him that day it broke my heart the veterinarians as so wonderfull. She held me till i got control of my self. Then a week later my female dog want to be a big 🐕 and went after a bigger dog wound up one the loosing end tote her ear almost off again they are wonderful. She doing good but still trying to pick on bigger dogs. They work with you, they are a loving family of veterinarians been going there with my furr babbies since i was a little girl love them, belive in them and wouldnt trust anyone else my babies thank you so much and appreciate everything the do

We went to their special animal clinic (held mthly during the spring n summer) which has reduced rates for dog and cat shots and yrly treatments. They are magnificent in how they treat all the aminals, to their unique professionalism shown to the crowd of folks who waited, in the rain, to be served. This is truly a public service for everybody on fixed incomes! I recommend them highly n will go again next year and the next year after that!

Caring staff and the vets actually seem to care bout your fur babies. The are willing to work with you to do the most for the pets even as far as telling you when something is not needed instead of doing like other places and just padding your bill.

I've been taking my dogs here for quite some time and they are the cheapest and most caring vets I've been to. One of my dogs started having seizures and when I took her to our previous vet they said there was nothing wrong with her. She almost died. I took her to Swaims and they immediately put her on meds and she has been fine ever since. Even though I have to wait sometimes since you cannot make appointments, they are worth it and we won't take our dogs anywhere else.

We buy our puppy shots there. They have a veterinarian office there for your animals also. During the spring and summer they usually do a shot and flea dip one Saturday a month. They have the shots at a reduced price during those Saturdays. We usually get our dogs rabies shot then.

EXCELLENT STAFF!!!! Friendly and knowledgable about everything from dog food to farm supply. Veterinary team is willing to work with people who are on a budgeted income and will not try to upsale you anything that your pet does not need. Prices are reasonable. The wait in the clinic can be very long sometimes, but its well worth the wait. I will never take my pets anywhere other than Swaims!
