They are super nice. But watch out they want to neuter/spay your pet no matter what you are getting done. And they will make you or they'll deny services. That's what happened to our cat. And since he hot neutered he started being aggressive. We didn't even want him neutered.

Two of our dogs where spayed here. Staff was fantastic towards us and our furbabies. Even took great concern and care when one refused to wake up because she was sleeping so good. A quick nail trim to rouse her did the trick!! Will be using them in the future!!

All the ladies I have met here are so nice. Very informative when you ask questions. I highly recommend this place for vaccinations for your cats or dogs. They also have a lowered cost for spay and neuter packages. For my spay on my toy chihuahua with all the vaccines and micro chip as well is way under $200. They even make sure to give extra pain meds for afterwards. Ours is scheduled for May when she gets a little older. She's already had 3 vaccines and has done very well. No adverse reaction. And the staff are very good with the animals. They are super sweet. They talk to them. They hold them very gently. I highly recommend them!! Best vet I'd been to in a while and one who doesn't price gouge on spays. I called around. A local pet place, I won't say the name wants $450 to start on a spay and that doesn't even cover any vaccines or pain meds or the office visit. At Safe Haven they just charge flat rates for stuff. They definitely don't rip you off. I've been 3z times now and seen alot of animals coming in and out. They do a wonderful job and I'm very thankful they offer discount care for your pets. Thank you all for being so kind and very professional. I'm glad my puppy is in good hands.

I took my neighbor’s pittie here to be neutered. It’s a very organized process whereby you drop your pet off and you pick them up in the late afternoon. You pay a nominal fee. With this process available, there is no reason for not taking advantage of this service and getting your pet sterilized and reducing the number of puppies and kittens in Oklahoma. We all must do our part to reduce the number of pets that end up in the city shelters and some who don’t make it out.

Visited for the second time today for drop in vaccinations. Found a stray dog behind a dumpster, Arrived at 8:50; they start vaccinating at 9, was outta there before 9:50. The little guy had heartworms; test is only $15. They treated him & sent us home w/ meds, several months of treatment. Total bill $120. My vet I'm sure would've been several hundred. Love these people; very caring! It is just a short drive from OKC but so worth it.

This is a low cost clinic where you can take your dogs and cats to get them spayed and neutered. They also have low cost vaccinations. For vaccinations, they allow walk-ins from 9-3 M-F. Anyone can use this clinic. You do not have to be low income to use Safe Haven.

Great place they're always busy but they're always trying so hard to get everybody taken care of. I've only had positive experiences here. Brought my 12 year old dog in that was having skin problems. She's a big scaredy cat, but everything was nice and simple. They took great care of her. And I'm already seeing an improvement just after a few days.

I think they were very nice to both me and my pet. The prices were also a lot better than I'd originally hoped. I had to wait like 3-4 months for my puppy's spay appointment but I consider it worth it. Their vaccinations are walk-in and very affordable (you might have to wait cause it's walk in though), I'm looking forward to trying it out. Careful on your first step in the building though- apparently it trips a lot of people.

The services and prices they offer them for are awesome and the staff is great and friendly too! Though I do have to say I am a little upset and disappointed after picking up my pup from a neuter. He had such HORRIBLE shave burn 🔥 and several decent size lacerations in his genitalia area ( apart from surgery ) from the shaver. He's ok but more attention and care is needed when they do the prep shave.

If you have an OKC water bill you can have your pet spayed or neutered for free. If you live in other areas it is only $45. All the services are affordable. Staff is friendly and I will always recommend them and go there from now on.

This place is very wonderful if you are needing somewhere to vaccinate and spay or neuter your animal but you don't have the funds for a vet bill. They help you out that's for sure. The ladies there that I talked with were very polite and remained so even with how busy they were. There were also a few rude people because when you are there you have to wait outside and line up til they call your name and people didn't like that very much but the ladies kept their cool. When I went inside it was very clean, the tables they have you sit at are numbered and are clutter free and clean as well. I loved the artwork they had on the walls. They even sell little outfits for your pet as well. The only thing I didn't like was the parking. The road is very dangerous because where Safe Haven is located is right past a curve and people speed around it but I know they don't controll how fast people drive. I suggest parking at the building across the road. It's much safer to get out of. Do not park on the right side (south side) of the building as that is their employee parking. It's a tiny place and they have to be able to get in and out as well. There was a lady that got upset about that too..All in all very solid place and will be bringing my pets here in the future.

Very nice people. I gave a friend a ride to Safe Haven to have his dog spayed. They seemed to really care about the animals they were helping and the owners too. I can't recall if it was free or sliding scale. They start early as I remember. At any rate they did a great job and even followed up afterward.

The vet did amazing work. The older lady that I think was a tech. She was awful. She kicked my carrier to move it towards the door. These are my babies and they just had surgery. I was Furious with her. I went to the vet about the issue and she was very kind and said that she would deal with the problem so all in all they did excellent work

First timer and I absolute love that place already! Going as walk in I asked the front desk vet to see if I can have my two male cats spayed ASAP and she respond to me that they were booked until the end of March but, I expressed my self to her how important it was for me to do it soon, because of my landlord was going to charge me 800 plus my rent included I couldn’t afford that. besides letting go of my two cats since I had them small as my palm it was going to be hard for me. And she quickly went through her computer and she booked us an appointment the next two days! I screamed inside of excitement and I left with happy tears. And now my baby’s are safe with me at home and thanks to that vet! 🤧😘😘😘😘

Really great staff and very great pricing. Often a little bit of a wait since everyone is a walk-in and they're always super busy. Don't try to reach them by calling, they WILL NOT answer. Just leave a voice mail and wait for a call back, you can't really do anything else but that.

Very efficient even tho we brought 5 cats/kittens from 3 diff human families. They were in 4 carriers) They managed to keep them all sorted and organized. We paid for 5 girls. Found out 3 were boys! They promptly refunded the difference when we picked them up. Its a bit of a drive-we came from Yukon but 30min isnt at all bad! They are doing good for the overpopulation of cats n dogs! Highly recommend them!

Took our dog here to be fixed and have his shots and got chipped too. Folks this is NOT a typical vet clinic. That is not to say that it's a bad place just don't go in expecting a regular vet.. They are cheaper than most vets. My dog had 0 problems. I will come back and have shots and chip done here.

Safehaven is our go to clinic for our rescue animals and our personal animals! They truly love the animals there and offer such amazing affordable prices for all their services! The staff is amazing and treat every dog and cat with kindness, respect and compassion! They are very high volume, so the process can be quick but if you have any questions they are more than willing to stop and help. We are truly grateful to have them as a resource for low cost care and they are our primary clinic we use before we see our full service vets. They have cared for hundreds of our animals, including those that have behavioral issues and accommodated us whenever possible. They are willing to help in any situation if they have the ability too! I couldn't be more appreciative or speak more highly of all they have done for us as a rescue. Love this place. Staff is always great to me and my dogs. Love that Oklahoma County residents can get free neutering and spading done here. My dogs did great after thier surgery's there. I love the walk in bases for vaccinations from 9am-2pm on Saturdays!!

This is a great business for affordable pet care. Most of my experiences here have been wonderful. My last experience was not wonderful due to conflict with the manager, who was disrespectful. I brought stray cats in for neutering. I received a call the day prior to confirm an appointment for the following day. I brought my cats at the time listed as opening time. Wait was about an hour, not bad. I brought the cats in the clinic and the manager let me know drop off was between 7-8am. When I told her I wasn't told the time to bring them and had to catch them, that the website said 9am, she was immediately defensive. Refused to consider she may not have told me what time to bring them in (during our 1 minute phone conversation) or that I didn't hear it due to partial hearing loss. She attacked my ability to be punctual though I arrived earlier than the time I thought was for dropoff. I would be banned if I was late again and she continued a tirade without letting me speak to inform her that the cats had not eaten or drank anything or that I called back the day prior to confirm what time to arrive. But did not reach anyone. She may be very kind, usually, and possibly is great at her job. Customer service is stressful and exhausting so I understand being done with certain client issues. She did ask the vet if she would still accept them and she did so I thank the manager for that. But in this instance, she presented an unnecessary, exaggerated response to my statement about not knowing what time to arrive. I was not rude and did not yell at her or continue to argue. I'm curious how she treats clients that are actually rude and uncooperative. If you are uncertain about any information you are given, confirm while you are the phone with them or this may be your experience as well.

Cheap low cost veterinarian. They have plenty of pictures up offering their prices. It's the $85 for dental cleaning for spayed and neutered pets that gets me in every time along with the low-cost spay and neuter and low vaccination cost.

I have spayed more 20 feral/pet cats and 5 dogs there. I have had not one single issue. The ladies in there have always been nice...busy...but still seem to joke and talk to the babies. They are quick, efficient and I have never had any issues with aftercare. I will continue to use their services in the future. Safe Haven is where I get my pet's vaccinations. The people there are very caring and friendly. I was sorry to hear that okc has not continued to fund the free spay and neuter program with them. The only problem I had was they checked that my dog had heartworms and in scribble that out and checked that she tested negative and now my vet thinks that I tampered with Luna's heartworm test that she received at safe Haven so I have to pay for another one

I took my dog here to get neutered, the staff there was extremely friendly and caring. A week later my dog started having some coughing issues. I called and left a message on a Sunday, I got a phone call back from the office, then a couple minutes later from the dr. on the same day. I will recommend Safe Haven to everyone. Staff are doing the best they can, as they are very, very busy. I was there on a Wednesday to get my dogs vaccinated and despite the heat, 2 hour long wait and rude pet owners who jumped in front of you when numbers were being issued, Christine was a sweetheart...cheerful, vibrant, enthusiastic and quick and once we were inside, we left in 15 minutes. In 2020, I booked in August to get an appointment in Oct.. Its very far away(if you stay at OKC- almost middle of nowhere). I was there at 7.08am, yet there were atleast 20 pet owners ahead of me. Ensure you carry your OKC water bill to get spaying/neutering surgery free. Note: warraces, Midwest city, bethany etc cannot avail of this free service. Only OKC. But despite being free, you still need to pay $10 for pain meds. Strongly recommend getting an Elizabeth(e) collar ($15) after surgery as pets will start to lick at wound within a day. Hats off to the overworked staff for their great attitude and assistance.

Took my dog here this morning to have her spade. The staff was very friendly and quick to answer all questions. She took my dog back to get started almost as soon as I walked in the door. Very easy and simple paper work. The spay is free for OKC residents and add ons are very affordable. My dog was pregnant as well, so I know the surgery was a lot more complicated and messy. Overall my wife and I are very pleased. They did a great job from the surgery to the customer service. I'll definitely be bringing all animals here from now on. Thank you all so much!

This is a very good clinic for people with low income or people who just get tired of paying expensive prices for a vaccine’s for example they have dental cleaning for $85 that includes the Anastasia. They sell heartworm medications very cheap and Vaccines are extremely cheap and if you’re Oklahoma City resident you can get Spay N Neuter free if not it’s $45. They also have a location Tuesdays and Wednesdays of every week at Northwest 16th and Rockwell. And that’s from 9 AM happen till 2:30 PM Tuesday and Wednesday each week. Debbie is one of the main people there absolutely love her been going here for a very very long time and I really don’t go anywhere else

This is the spot to go.....I walked in at 9 on a Saturday, was greeted, given paperwork, questions of mine answered, my dog was vaccinated, I paid, and was wished a GREAT DAY.......I was out the Door by 9:25. Our regular vet, would have charged. 75,-125 dollars. And required a physical etc. I will now bring any and all dogs of mine to Safe Haven in Spencer. I only have 1 disappointment, that they don't carry the Leptosporosis vaccine............I will have to go elsewhere for that. If any one doesn't know about that it a vaccine that prevents Leptosporosis..a disease that can make both animal and human very very sick....the disease comes from when our animal drink stagnant water or water that a wild animals per has tainted. I'd possums. Raccoons. Rats. Other infected animals... Okay I'm done LOVE SAFEHAVEN
