Had an extremely pleasant time here. I love how it not only looks clean but smells it as well. It's really well put together for the animals and not overcrowded. You can tell they are taken care of here and well loved. They do not rush you so you are able to spend time together and see if you are chosen. Fun displays of toys and other items you can purchase. Application is easily filled out there online. This gal chose us almost immediately! She was so friendly and came right to us. Wanted to play and lots of pets. She walked into my granddaughters bottom storage of her stroller and let us know she was ready to go with us. Now, she's home with us and it couldn't be a better fit! She's a 14lb love ball of a lap kitty! She is exactly what we as a family were looking for. I know there is a new family member for just about anyone there. Thank you OKHumane Society!

Took our girl in for a spay, the curbside drop off and pickup is so easy! Her procedure went very well, her aftercare instructions were detailed and there was even a 24 hour vet line to call in case of emergency. Thanks for the great service!

We took our 4 yr old pitbull baby to the spay & neuter clinic to get her spayed and chipped, and they did a great job and handled her very well. She healed up quickly from surgery and we are very happy with our experience. 10/10 recommend!

I came here as a last resort as my 9 yr old baby girl was suffering from Pyometria. She needed emergency surgery but money is funny rn and we couldn't come up with the funds. This place was very compassionate and tried to help in any way they could. Unfortunately due to unforeseen complications they were unable to do the surgery. But they referred us to another surgeon with a fully equipped operating room whom also helped with no talk of money at all. Unfortunately my girl passed during the surgery as she had cancer and removing the tumor caused excess bleeding that couldn't be controlled. Our family is very grateful for their compassion and understanding. They made us feel that they too cared for our girl and wanted the best for her ❤️

So incredibly happy with this clinic. I could not afford the cost of neutering at my regular vet and I did not want an unwanted litter, the entire process was so easy from booking online to their curbside drop-off and pick-up! They are very efficient, effective, affordable, and kind here. Will be bringing my female dogs in to get spayed here. Kylie was our dogs tech, she was fabulous! I was concerned about drop-off because he has a history of not doing too great at the vet. She was patient, calm, and didn't rush him until he was completely comfortable. He walked right inside with her! I cannot reccomend this clinic enough, nothing but positive things to say about out experience! They are worth the wait!

I have three beautiful little dogs and could not other- wise afford all the care they need and deserve. I also donate small amounts by mail when possible because it's such a good cause. I called to ask about a free spay/neutering clinic that I heard about from a news segment.I pushed every numeric option that the Interactive voice response gave me, and left messages on every answering system, because I have a fur baby that needs to be spayed, vaccinated,and microchiped,because of covid and not having the money to do so, I'm disabled and have a one income family. I thought that the news segment said that a free clinic providing all of those services was taking place over a 2 day period. Long story short, I was wrong about that. But I received a phone call from every person that I left messages for. Unfortunately I still don't have any money for those services and no free anything taking place. But they were very quick on calling me back.

We've been coming here for many years because we're are so impressed with the care of our kittens. Spay and neuter is all they do. Durmaglue... no staples, Tattoo to confirm spay. Pain shot for after care, rabies as needed. Friendly staff that knows us, attentive to our needs and our pets needs. We recommend them all the time! BEST PRICES ANYWHERE! We took 5 feral cats to be spayed and neutered. They make you drive up, fill out your paperwork and then they take your animals. Be prepared, first thing in the morning is extremely busy! Picking the animals up wasn't too bad. Just when we did it, it was raining.

Quick yet slow? 4 stars for the service and one star short due to timing. I had an appointment from 1:00 to 1:30 for my puppy. Her vaccination was scheduled ahead of time and I was instructed by a worker there to go into the office. I had a dentist appointment at 2:00 and was happy with the time I had chosen for my fur baby's vaccination. (At this point, there were only about two vehicles in line for curbside) Upon entering the office, the receptionist kindly sent me back in line because the worker had instructed me incorrectly - I needed to be in line for her vaccination and I needed to get there quick because as soon as I turned around, another two vehicles had pulled into line. "No problem! They must have appointments too!"... I got in line and a second vehicle pulled in behind me... WHEW! RIGHT ON TIME. And now we wait!... 1:00, no big deal. I just got in line... 1:10, um, the line hasn't moved... 1:25, ok, the line isn't moving... 1:32, I'm biting my nails at this point... 1:42, I was getting ready to GO because I HAD ANOTHER APPOINTMENT! But luckily it was my baby's turn (1:43). She went in and came back out in under 5 minutes, I kid you not. I was so thankful for how quickly she slipped in and out, but I was scared of losing my appointment and my deposit! Understandably the deposit is not a lot, but with these times, every bit helps. Also, The workers really are doing their best due to servicing appointments in between surgeries, so that is understandable. Thank you for your help! Next time, I'll just have to get there a whole lot earlier. Thank you for taking the time to read this entire novela. Have a nice day!

I brought in a stray/feral kitten, they fixed him, snap tested him, gave him vaccinations, treated us professionally. He is now trying to adjust to indoor life, they were very kind and helpful! I told them my plans for the TNR & how I was determined to convert this wild boy, they offered advice on that and if we needed to release him as well.

My experience today 8-18-22 was not very good I waited almost 45 minutes from my appointment time to be seen as my dogs waited in a hot car. I tried calling several times to do the check in , it was ridiculous took almost 20 minutes to get somebody to answer the phone.. You really need to work on a better system . It needs to be easier for them to know that we are there and to see us at our appointment time.

I love any place that cares about animals as much as I do. I was there transferring ownership of a dog that we adopted and they let me know that we can have any of our dogs and/or cats vaccinated with them for about half the cost of my regular vet. They also do spay and neuter and nails.

Very professional and a great place to have your dogs and cats spayed or neutered. Just drop them around 7am and you can pick them back up around 5pm. My lab was back to running around in the yard the very next day and seemed to be in no pain at all after the surgery.

I cannot stress enough that the Spay and Neuter Clinic provides affordable pet sterilization that is vital for our community. I would have prefered a longer wait to schedule and recieved higher quality care, however, than a high volume drop off and pick up since their lobby is closed. We were not instructed to buy or provided with a cone which was necessary after the procedure, and my vaccinated kitten appears to have caught a cold from another cat at their facility. I would highly recommend and encourage a location opening in Edmond, as well, as I drove 2 hours round trip the day I recieved this care for my pet.

My pup went there for a spay. It's been 6 days post op and the surgery site is still so swollen and feels hard, almost like a sponge or something was left in it. May be scar tissue but it looks and feels terrible. Thanksfully my pup doesn't seem ill. Cost is wonderful, but in ways I wish I would have went to my regular vet.

When you get there, make sure to call the number in the window even if you have a scheduled appointment. They currently are only taking appointments (no walk-ins) due to COVID related concerns. They were very prompt and courteous with us and our pup. The only thing I wish would have been different is if they told me where the microchip was put at on my dog. I didn't find that information within the papers I received. Overall, still 5-Star service.

Fast and efficient, as long as you follow all of their instructions and prepay before pick up, the whole process is extremely speedy! We waited maybe 15 mins? And the cost was extremely affordable. They're doing amazing work down at the Humane Society:)

Took my two kittens here to get neutered. I was able to get a voucher from Best Friends of Pets for discounted neutering and rabies shots from OK Humane and I'm so glad. They treated my pets with such care. I did pay for extra pain medicine (which they gave to my cats there) and for a flea treatment. Overall, I paid $35 for both of those things. The only downside is that because of COVID-19, you are not allowed inside so you must drop off your pets. Drop-off was from 7-8am, and I had to sit in line for about an hour before anyone came out to get my cats. Pickup was from 5-6pm and was much faster. My experience was wonderful overall.

Really great place for low income pet care. They are incredibly affordable and took really good care of my dog. They provide pet prescriptions at an affordable price all you have to do is order them online after they have seen your pet once. They do vaccines and others stuff besides spay and neuter.

They are great! I spayed my dog here and I can't even see a scar anymore. It's been close to a year since then. They do charge you for any pain medication or the cone that goes around there head. But it's minimal compared to what you have to pay at a regular vet. I did not see any complications from surgery. And now she's a happy dog with no worries! I will be taking her soon for her regular shots.

These people are fantastic. The staff was nice and efficient; the lady at the front desk during drop-off and pick-up was quick, courteous and knowledgeable. Despite there being a lot of people, she treated everyone and their animals with care. They did a wonderful job with my cat, who is older. The prices at this place are beyond reasonable - charging what they do shows just how much they care about animals and their well-being rather than money. I have nothing but good things to say about this place!

Very kind staff, I have had 2 cats spayed by them so far and one schedule for tomorrow! The only downfall is how busy they are, so be prepared for a line to drop off/ pick up your fur babies. Other than that, 10/10 would recommend for a low cost spay/ neuter clinic!

For a low cost humane society it was clean at the front and easy to spot. Went in for some puppy shots and it took a while till she was asked for. About 25-30 minutes. The staff were nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable and enjoyed having a little bit of small talk.

Considering how crowded it was during drop off, they got to us really fast. They were really intensive, friendly. Pick up was pretty fast as well, they were friendly and busy but still took the time to explain post op procedures. It took a little longer than I expected for our little dog to come out to us and they explained that his incision is inflamed since he was licking it in his kennel. I wasn’t too thrilled about that, which is why I didn’t give 5 full stars, but I also understand that they’re very busy so sometimes they may not be able to really look after a minor thing like that very well. As long as it doesn’t cause future complications and I’m sure that they had more serious issues with other dogs that had their attention. Very affordable, was able to get his vaccines, microchip and flea preventives at the same time. They had paperwork during pick up that explained everything, had information about the chip, and had his tags for the rabies vaccine and chip. If you didn’t already choose to get a e-collar (cone) during drop off, you have the decision to get one during pick up. It was an extra $10. Total for everything was just above $100 which is very affordable. He had a little bit of a smell to him when we got him back, but I’m fairly certain that’s from the flea preventative / flea stuff and since we didn’t get his glands expressed, it’s also a possibility that his expressed at some point from stress. TLDR; All in all solid 4/5 stars. Everyone was really friendly, explained everything really well. Bought a cone during pick up. Affordable prices for all services. Dog had a small smell but could’ve been from the flea preventative or from him getting stressed out and expressing his glands.

We went to have one of our dogs neutered, so we went in the morning to drop them off. There was a bit of a wait, but that's just how it is in the morning. They were quick and efficient though so it didn't take too long there. The staff are friendly and the prices for the shots or procedures are pretty affordable. I had a pleasant experience with them.

The people were great, but after making a reservation online that included all the information for my cats I found upon arriving that I had to fill out paperwork for each cat all over again. If not for that, I would have given them another star. They treated my cats well, and the cost can't be beat unless they are having a sale. My regular vet charged to spay one cat the price I paid here to have five cats spayed or neutered. No problems after the procedure and the staff gave me complete instructions on my cats care and problems that could occur, and what to do if that were to happen. I definitely would recommend this place. Low cost vaccinations also.

We always enjoy coming to this location. The staff is nice and allow you to spend as much time with the animals as you need to see if they are a good fit. We adopted a cat today (Randomly) with no intention of bringing a pet home. The facility was clean and the staff was knowledgeable of the history of the pets. My experience was great! I had my cat Tux nuetered here recently. They took awesome Care of him, very professional and timely, too. The appointment day is so quick, and easy. Drop off and pick up (same day!) was a breeze, and the employees at the desk were helpful informing us of Post-op care. Tux is on the mend and healing well, back to his regular self already! Plus, you can’t beat the prices. I will bring my pets here in the future.

Very friendly staff! Given the state of things, they’re basically a “drive thru” clinic now. Drop off your furry babies in the morning and their good to go in the afternoon. Olaf was fine afterwards and almost jumped back out the window to say goodbye to the vet tech that brought him out. Would highly recommend this place for all your spay/neuter needs!

They are awsome there, I'm having a few dogs to go and get spayed and neutered as well as micro chipping and rabbies. They have done a great job with my animals that have already been seen. They do a good job and the ladies are super helpful and answer any questions you have.

I took my 5 month old puppy in to get spayed a few months ago. During the process though she had some post-surgery issues stomach and other issues. They were super great about answering when I called after hours. They also let me send a picture when she developed a bump by the incision to make sure it was ok. I ended up taking her in just to check and they didn't charge me anything at all. She was fine and just had a bump from exercising too much. The only thing that was bad is they use glue instead of real stitches so you HAVE to make sure you keep the incision dry. Also, PLEASE pay the extra money for the numbing medication and PLEASE keep your dog in a crate as much as possible (basically all day) or they will get concerning fluid filled bumps. It's worth it to do this stuff. Overall, it's really cheap and my dog's incision looked great according to our family vet on her 10 day post-surgery checkup. The only thing I would suggest is muzzling your dog if they don't like other dogs and being cautious bringing an anxious dog. My puppy is anxious so it was emotional for her to be taken into a waiting room filled to the brim with other animals waiting in line. I'm just happy she got spayed and is healthy though.

It saddens me that people do not claim their pets. Mine was taken and I vist as often as I can in hope's I'll get the chance to be reunited with my fur baby. To many of these pet's are being euthanized because people are not being held accountable. If you have a pet, please realize they give you unconditional LOVE and this is how you repay their loyalty. It was easy to make the appointment online. I recieve food stamps so I received a discount on thier already low prices (just mention you recieve benefits before you pay to get the discount). My cat healed perfectly and is much happier now :)

I just want to say that what you guys do for the community is amazing. Thank you so much. I searched for a while trying to find a price for neutering my dog that fit my budget. I kept finding $125 and up until I found y'all. My baby is happy and healthy, got nuetured, pain medication, and his nails clipped for only $67 with you guys. Thank you so much!! His first day home after the procedure yesterday he slept for the most part and is his natural self today with his appetite back and everything. Took my dog to get spayed here. Checked the online website to see what was needed. I also called to make sure that all I needed was the rabies shot. The woman on the phone was very informative. She advised me there would most likely be a line at 8:00am so I got there early. There was only a total of 5-6 people outside waiting once the doors opened. The staff was very friendly and caring towards my dog when I dropped her off. They called me later that afternoon when she was ready to get picked up. The woman gave me a form with post op instructions and phone numbers to call if any complications arise. This was the best service I've gotten. I would definitely recommend!

I've had 4 cats get spayed and neutered here. The lower prices helps alot. I haven't had any issues with the outcomes of the surgeries. I just monitored them and crated them for a few days to make sure that they were healed. It was hard to get in for an appointment, but it is worth it.

I took my adopted schnauzer here for his shots. They were VERY nice and polite. The prices were a tad confusing. On the website, it said premium vaccination package was $50, but when I asked about it, she just said everything was a set cost. For example, HW test $20....etc. Vaccinations are so pricy and I had trouble navigating online to find the best price. Humane Society was definitely the most affordable even with confusing prices listed online. I made an appointment online with $10 down payment. Once I arrived for my appointment, they came out to my car and took my dog in and he received his checkup. If you are wanting additional services such as X-rays, etc.....you will have to go somewhere else. They also offer spay and neuter for around $70! Help out the pet population! For those contemplating pet ownership, please read: 1) do your research! Puppies are adorable but are SOOOO much work. And ALL puppies grow up to become annoying teenage grown up dogs. You will want to throw them to the curb, but you can’t! They are your Responsibility for 12-15 years! If you don’t have the time to invest in a puppy, consider the older guys. They are so much cooler and relaxed. They just want a place to lay their head for remainder of their days. If you adopt, your adoption fee covers: spay and neuter, immunizations (for puppies costs $500-1000), and any other costs associated with owning a pet. Pet rescues will also take the pet back if it doesn’t work out. They don’t want you taking the dog to a shelter. Breeders just want your money and care minimally whether or not you are a responsible pet owner. 2) if you decide you HAVE to have that $2000 AKC registered pure bred, FIX them to prevent more dogs being euthanized! Taxpayers have to foot the bill for all of our animal shelters and euthanizations! I imagine if we had a hunting season for dogs, there would be an uproar.....that is essentially what we already do, except we do it quietly by euthanizing them. I realize this is a review on Humane Society, but I’m willing to bet they appreciate me advocating for responsible pet ownership!

I take my dogs to get shots here as well as had a successful neutered boy and my girl puppy is recovering from a spay that is going well. They have an emergency number that I called at midnight for a concern and received a call back in mins! Very helpful and amazing prices compared to everyone else. Staff is amazing and so friendly. They care about the animals.

I cannot praise this place enough! We were able to get two kittens neutered and vaccinated for rabies at a cost of $74, which is what it would have cost for ONE of them at the vet. This was possible because of monies provided by PetSmart. They will neuter cats aged six months and under at a discounted rate. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and professional. The cats are both doing great. We will be absolutely be returning here the next time our pets need medical care.

Helping me with neighborhood cats. Owner of so, so many feral cats passed away and have come to my house to eat. OKC Humane Society has been wonderful in helping me stop the over population of the cats on my block. Great vets. The receptionist who answers the phone and emails is the nicest person I have ever encountered. Thank you for being there for me and all the kittens and cats that will not starve or have to live a miserable life. Only if my entire neighborhood could get on board. Spread the word and save unwanted dogs and cats from being euthanized.

My cat came out to me with dried blood all over his manhood, and no e-collar so of course I had to go to the store to get one because cats need to clean! But honestly that’s not much of a problem, but the fact that I paid for a nail trim and they didn’t do it makes me wonder if they really did the vaccines too... even with the extra pain meds he is super sore and it’s very red but I mean the cost was very affordable so idk. If you can afford to go to your established vet, I would. But if you’re like me and you’re poor, it’s not too bad of an option.

This is a great place to take upur cat or dog to have them spayed or neutered, it is affordable and they provide very good care for your pet, they also provide clear instructions for aftercare. The only downside is that you have to schedule appointments about a month in advance as they are so busy, but if you plan ahead this should not be a problem.

My grandma takes stray cats from the neighborhood. They spay or neuter them and give them vaccinations for free. Then you can either pick them up yourself or thet will release them. No euthanasia to these pets!!! Great community service done with genuine love and care for animals!

Staff were so helpful and caring for our pup who had been abused/abandoned. They took time to make him comfortable with leaving us and he came home in what seemed to be no pain at all. He was ready to play and run (despite Dr's orders ) the very next day.The day before he got neutered petsmart groomers kicked him out after just trying to brush him, these ladies and gents he had nothing but kisses and excitement for. They could not have done better. Don't let the "no anesthesia" myths or the odd location put you off. Your dog is fully medicated and the building is clean and equipped. These guys do the work of angels and treat your animals like their own. ***let me also add our "pup" is 87lbs of crazy when provoked. Lol.

I knew when I entered I should have not been such a tight wad and spend a few more Dollars and have my boy's neutering done at the local Veterinarian. The place reeked of cat urine, they rushed to put a leash on my dog not even knowing what his temperament might be...all went well though. They provided no cone around his head to keep him from licking after the surgery before I was able to pick him up, which wasn't long after. He came back with ticks, which he has never had in 3 years. Thank God I had him on Bravecta. I took him to the local Vet that same evening from what appeared to be a open wound from not stitching completely. He was leaking blood. I was given a very large cone to keep him fro licking, medication for diarea and antibiotics at the local Vet. Day 3 and he is still dripping blood, put shorts on him and have bed sheets all over the house. Bottom line is this, if you can afford it go to your local Vet do so, if not by all means use them.

Rather pungent and bossy about your dog needing to be leashed. Jumped out of chair to come leash our pets before asking us if we had a leash. This truly is a get what you pay for scenario. Yes you can save some money here but you may be concerned when they take you pet in the back but do not allow you to join. The caged dogs yelping that can be heard from waiting area is not the most happy sound to listen to.
