First visit and first impressions are WOW! Facility is clean, there is a separate waiting area for kitties which is nice so the dogs and cats don't agitate each other. There doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover so when you call you talk to the same people and that's always nice. The fees are reasonable compared to other vets in the area. I needed a new vet and I'm very pleased with Lakeview!!

Pulled in to pick up my sweet Rocky from boarding (and her first heartworm treatment) and caught the staff loving on her while on a potty break. Can't say enough good things about this place!! They are also incredible with my reactive dog Lucy who has struggled with going to vet but did so well with them! VERY thankful for lakeview!

This is my go-to veterinarian. They are a fear-free clinic, which means when your pet comes in they are showered with love & treats to make them feel comfortable and calm. They keep a list of which treats my dog does & doesn't like and references it each visit. She comes in for her shots & I never have a problem. They answer my questions & fit me in for last minute things. When they are closed they recommend the 24/7 Blue Pearl Pet Hospital & they called me the next day to ask how it went. They care well for pets in their speech & actions. I trust them a lot & today my dog is getting her teeth cleaned by them. Looking forward to the results!

I had a first time, new patient appointment for vaccinations scheduled at Lakeview for my fur baby, “Cat Stevens” on a recent Monday. However, on the Saturday before, i woke up to my cat meowing incessantly and curled up in a ball of pain. When i tried to examine him he hissed and swatted and i couldn’t tell if he was injured or what. The Blue Pearl ER vet was unable to take any additional cases due to high volume, but God bless Lakeview as they had decided to stay open late that day for emergencies. They took fabulous care of my difficult and “unfriendly” cat. This was my first time setting foot in Lakeview and although they were extremely busy with emergency cases, every employee that day treated me AND Cat Stevens as though HE was their only patient. I left him in their care feeling confident he was in good hands. After his exam i was contacted with the diagnosis and given my treatment options as well as a cost estimate. They also offered to vaccinate as well to save me a second trip on Monday. When his treatment was finished they called me for pickup and when i arrived the vet herself spoke with me at length. The cost was reasonable and quite fair for such excellent service. Though i don’t enjoy pet emergencies, i must say the entire experience was excellent. This is the most professional staff I’ve encountered in my 55 years of pet ownership. (BTW, Cat Stevens would like to apologize for his salty demeanor and he gives everyone there a five claw review! )

Had to take my mom's dog after he got attacked. They were really nice even though I was a walk in they took us right back. I feel like the vet lady was very honest and even helped us out with the price. He had to be put down but they let us be with him.

Dr. Cramer was awesome. We came for a second opinion about our cats mass and he was engaged and knowledgeable about all the potentialities. Guided us through the required testing and shared the what and why behind it all. Add in respectable pricing for procedures and surgery and you have a winning combination. Our experience will have us bringing in all our pets for any future needs.

Our 9-year-old Beagle tore both ACLs in May 2022. We checked around the Metro Area and found Lakeview had great reviews. They also were lower priced as compared to other providers that could perform this surgery. We are so thankful we brought him here. Dr. Cramer and the entire staff were so kind and compassionate. It took 5 months and 2 surgeries to get him all fixed up. Copper is back to running, playing, and chasing squirrels. Thanks Lakeview Animal Hospital.

The got me in for first visit same day and very professional and exceed their fear free advertising so I’m quite impressed. My boy Otis had to have knee surgery and they did great job. Otis did great other than Licking staples out but they still took care of that with no shaming for me or Otis. 5 stars for sure for ALL staff and Doctors.

The first time I came, my cat was already in organ failure. Dr. Cramer was kind, gentle, and caring in her final moments. When we needed a vet again, we remembered him. He is knowledgable and patient. When we discovered our dog had cancer he was determined to help us save her. We appreciate his hard work, devotion and tenacity. Five stars are not enough! I have been taking my cats to Dr. Cramer since they were kittens, and could not have found a more knowledgeable and honest veterinarian in Oklahoma City! I didn't know what an AAHA Accredited hospital was before Lakeview, but I am thankful they are dedicated to providing the latest technologies and medicine to their patients. I LOVE the entire staff at Lakeview, they are always so welcoming and go above and beyond for my cats. It's such an amazing experience every time we visit! I'm very thankful for their Fear Free techniques, as it has really calmed both of my cats when we need to come to the vet. I recommend all of my friends and family to Dr. Cramer, and they have even driven from out of state to have him perform a TPLO surgery on their dog. We are so excited they are building a new facility next door and can't wait to see it! I wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else but Lakeview Pet Hospital!

The staff is so nice. I really appreciated everyone from the front desk, to the assistants, to the vet. They tried the least invasive option for our pets broken paw before recommending anything else, and only after that failed gave us options that made sense. The prices are more than fair for the level of care. 10/10.

If you are trying to decide where to take your pet, look no further. It’s often easy for people to look at another person’s pet as just that, someone else’s. Not here. Every single person I encountered treated Mr Goliath like he was their own for his entire life. He has seen many vet offices over 14.5 years and I only wish I could have been coming here his whole life. Absolutely the friendliest and best experience he has ever had. Thank you so much! Dr. Krammer is , hands down, the most competent veterinarian I've had the pleasure of taking my dog to. My boy is a 15 year old pb . He needed surgery for a mass removal. Huge mass removal. Dr Krammer is not only competent, but a very good surgeon. My dog was really comfortable w him and my boy likes noone new. His staff is incredible. They are never put off by questions, very patient and compassionate, on the phone or in person. 30 years of vets and I have never , in my life, been to a better place. It didn't exist , until now. Can say with confidence this has been the best experience I have had with a vet's office. I brought my sick border collie in late Saturday afternoon. I did not have an appointment, but they saw my pup anyways. Dr. Cramer was very thorough. He brought the blood results into the exam room and went over them line by line and had a plan of action for every possible outcome. Everyone in this office is extremely kind and helpful.

We brought Cee Cee in with a diaphragmatic hernia and she looked like she only had less than a day left to live but Dr Cramer is awesome and had her fixed up and back on her feet more alive than ever in one day. Best vet ive ever used. Pricing is mid to high but with justification. Extremely knowledgeable staff, very helpful, does a great job making sure your pets are comfortable and well taken care of. Prescriptions can be filled with just a phone call, same for appointments. If you want the best treatment for your little ones, this is the place.

I can't say enough about Dr. Schmitt and her dedication to our kitty Max. It seemed like everything was going wrong and we were turning to a dark place but our family wanted to fight for him and she was ready to do it too. She went the extra mile in ways I can't even begin to explain. When he wouldn't eat, she brought a can of tuna from home because he likes tuna juice on his food. When he had a seizure and I had a total freakout, she was there saying we could still save him. The whole team was quite simply the sweetest most thoughtful people I've ever had look after my pets. Krista and Sarah were so gracious and caring about our multiple phone calls and requests to face time when we were out of town. We will forever be in their debt for the care they bestowed on our family.

We have used Lakeview since we moved back to the OKC area in 2019. We have worked with Dr, Tori, Dr. Florance and most recently with Dr. Schmidt. I have enjoyed working with each of them. Dr. Schmidt really helped us when we were in a pinch after our dog had surgery and needed services the following weekend when the surgeon's office was closed. She went over and above to help us after hours and was very kind and patient in working with us and our dog. Our other alternative would have been to wait hours to see an emergency vet as our dog was in dire need of attention. They have just built a beautiful new facility which is fear-free which means they have gone to great lengths to provide an atmosphere that will be as stress free to your pets as possible. The staff is always helpful and friendly and they are good to call and check up on your pet(s) after vaccinations or procedures. They are also one of the few vets in the area that are part of the American Animal Hospital Association which requires very high standards for their members.

Wonderful place!! This was my first visit with a 6 month old puppy and the team was great! I didn’t catch the assistants name, but Dr. Florance worked so well with my little man. This was establishing care with a new provider and will be my recommendation. Price wise was what expected. What I didn’t expect was rebates added to my flea/tick & heartworm meds! That brought the invoice down.

We absolutely love the staff at Lakeview! Our sweet Charlie girl had gotten a UTI and I was so scared when I saw blood in her urine. Dr. Cramer ran some tests and walked me through how she got the infection, how to care for her and how to prevent it in the future. He even took the time to let me look under the microscope and talk me through what I was seeing. I was so impressed! They didn't have any bags of the special food for sale, so they gave me enough to get me through the week until they got it in stock. They never price gouge on services and the staff from Dr. and Mrs. Cramer to the techs and the front counter are all so caring and loving with pets and owners alike. We found our Vet for life!

I had to take my cat in for an emergency, he was suffering from Congestive Heart Failure. He was a very sensitive kitty and the staff at Lakeview Pet Hospital treated him so well. I cannot fully express the momentous amount of gratitude that I feel for the staff at Lakeview. Even with me being a sobbing mess they never made me feel silly, and I never felt like my kitty was treated poorly. I will NEVER take my pets anywhere else. We have taken our kitty, Bruce, to Lakeview for years, and they have always been wonderful. This last visit was even moreso, with their "Fear Free" practices on full display! Bruce was most comfortable on the counter, tucked into the corner behind the sink, but Dr. Florance and our nurse (I'm terrible with names but she was AMAZING!) were able to do his check up and blood draw right there were he felt safe. He hardly even knew what was happening. They distracted him with treats, ear scratches, and soft, comforting words the entire time. It made such a difference to have him stay in the room for the exam where I could be close to him and he could know I was there. They spoiled him like he was their own, and made the visit much less stressful for me as well! Everyone is so kind, comforting, friendly, and personable, and they truly care about the animals they treat and they deeply understand how much pets mean to their families.

Best place to take your pet if they are difficult to handle. My Shepard mix is fear aggressive but they have no problem calming him and making him mind and feel safe! I would highly recommend them! Except they are very pricey.

We've had Lakeview as our pet hospital for our Trevor after our old vet retired. They were always so understanding and made Trevor feel as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately we had to put him down due to his age and illness as he was 19 and was in a lot of pain. They waited for us patiently to say our goodbyes even though it took us past closing time. They made sure that he was comfortable and even gave him some chocolate kisses. My husband and I were so heartbroken but they made us feel like they truly cared. They even sent us a card for our loss. They truly went above and beyond to take care of our Trevor and us. When we are ready to adopt again we will definitely come back to them.

I can't thank Dr. Schmitt enough for her loving treatment of my girl and her taking care of my needs as well. I have only been in the area for about 2 months and my sweet girl (11 years old with PTSD) was deteriorating in her mental ability to cope with the transition. Sadly, Dr. Schmitt had already seen her multiple times during our short time in OKC. Together, after going through realistic options, we made the tough decision that the best choice for my girl was to end her suffering. Dr. Schmitt let me hold my sweetie for the entire procedure, allowing me to tell her how much she was loved, what a wonderful girls she was, that she no longer had to live in fear, and she could finally be free to learn to be the puppy she had never been allowed to be (she spent the first 2-3 years of her life in a crate). Losing my girl is one of the most painful experiences of my life. Dr. Schmitt was as compassionate with me as she was with my girl. Though my experience with Dr. Schmitt is limited, I can't imagine a better doctor to be with me during such a difficult time. I need to thank the staff for making me feel welcome from visit one and for their incredible support as I went through this.

I have to say Wow! Lakeview is by far the best Pet hospital I have ever known! Both Dr. Cramer and Dr. Schmidt are amazing! Dr. Schmidt is incredibly kind hearted! I can't sing enough praise of Dr Cramer and his Lakeview crew!! ❤️❤️ They LOVE animals, and IT SHOWS! They care about your pets and want them to be as healthy and happy as possible. My poor Dobby was dying from an obstructed urethra, back in the snow storm we had. After being temporarily stabilized by an ER that quoted an exorbitant amount to fix him, we had to leave and find somewhere else in that mess! We got turned away time and time again, until Lakeview advised that they were not an emergency center, but would do their best to save him. And they did! For literally, less than 20% of what the first place we took him quoted. Even better than the price is their mannerisms. Their clinic is CALM Y'ALL! Poor Dobby has always been petrified of everything and everyone. I was afraid the time away from us would actually kill him.. he's was THAT bad. But he was in great hands, that pride themselves on being a "fear-free clinic" ( and have awards to prove it I think!). Dobby came back healthier, thankful, calm and far more brave than I could have ever hoped. And it's all thanks to Lakeview Pet Hospital, and I will never take my babies anywhere else!! The pics are from his first night back with us- look at that smile!!! He is just resting that sweet face on my hubbys hand and was purring so strong that I thought he was gonna catch on fire!! Lol Just eating it up! And the other is his brother letting him get close since he was sick. Lol 🥰

Dr Tori has treated our animals with the utmost care and compassion. I am extremely happy to have her as our vet! No matter what issue arises or what kind of animal we have, she always provides excellent info and is very confident and knowledgeable. I will continue using her services. The clinic at Lakeview is amazing.....from how we’re initially greeted, to interacting with the owners. Highly recommend Lakeview!

If you hear "torn ligaments" or "TPLO" come out of your vet's mouth, I'd strongly recommend having Dr. Cramer perform the surgery to repair it. It's been over a year now and my 110 lb pride and joy is still jumping around like a Spring chicken.

We have two English bulldogs. One is pretty well behaved, the other can be a real handful. Even coming in at almost 90 pounds and very anxious everyone at Lakeview works with him wonderfully. One of our pups needed knee surgery, so we brought her here. Vet did an outstanding job. Our pup healed faster than projected with no problems. When it came to the follow up visits, there were multiple occasions where we had to reschedule, but the office staff was always kind, understanding, and accommodating. After this experience we have now made them the primary vet for all of our animal family members.

It is important to us that the clinic is accredited--not many are! The staff are attentive and friendly and seem to genuinely care about us and our pet. Dr. Kramer is amazing. If you’re looking for the perfect veterinarian for your fur baby look no further, you will not find a veterinarian clinic more caring, knowledgeable or skilled then Dr. Cramer and his team at Lakeview. We live in Colorado so unfortunately can’t take our dogs there for routine visits, but we drove our Corgi/Golden Henry to Oklahoma City to perform TPLO surgery after he’d started limping and it wasn’t getting better. Dr. Cramer took the time to explain exactly what was happening (partially torn ligament), what he would be doing during the surgery and what Henry’s recovery time would look like. Henry had become very depressed and he put my fears at ease that this was exactly what we needed to be doing to get him back to the happy go lucky, rambunctious guy he normally is. The day of surgery went great, Henry was already wagging is tail as he woke up after surgery, and Dr. Cramer reviewed the X-rays and showed us how well everything had gone. He also had done a full blood work panel and discovered that Henry’s potassium levels were elevated and even though it wasn’t part of the surgery took the time to explain why that was happening and make a recommendation to change food, possibly saving us lots of money and preventing health issues down the road. Henry was sent home with great pain management and was already so much happier even just one week out. We’re 8 weeks out from surgery now and Henry has made a full recovery and is back to being our happy little guy. We had a 4 week and 8 week x-ray with our vet in Colorado and Dr. Cramer reviewed x-rays and confirmed that everything healed up great. I can’t thank Dr. Cramer enough for his skill and passion for helping animals and their people. I am also super impressed with Lakeview’s new state of the art building, there are no details that weren’t thought of. I appreciate that they are a fear free location and keep dogs and cats separate at all times. I was able to tour the new building during their open house and was so impressed by the level of thought put into everything from their surgery room to the boarding facilities. I highly recommend you see Dr. Cramer if your dog needs TPLO surgery, it was more than worth the drive to OKC for us and if you’re lucky enough to live in the area for routine care you’ll not find a better team of people to care for your pets.

This is the most exceptional vet experience I've ever had, hands down (my pets would say the same if they could!). During the first visit, I immediately understood why it has a perfect 5-star rating. The experience was phenomenal. Every one of the staff were so friendly, warm, and genuine. The doctor was caring, personable, thorough, and patient. He explained everything in great detail and in a way we could easily understand. He was very professional yet conversational and open to questions and discussion. I didn't feel rushed in any way whatsoever. I felt like he treated my cat with the same care and concern he would treat his own pets. My fiance and I have never been more impressed. Although we know otherwise, it truly felt as though we were their only customers given the time and attention we received during our visit. They didn't try to "sell" us anything or pressure us into doing anything other than what we came there to do (annual vaccines/physical). My pets are like my children, and I wholeheartedly trust that they are in the very best possible hands at Lakeview Pet Hospital, where the staff go above and beyond for pets and their owners. They are even building a cats-only facility soon in an attempt to reduce fear and stress in their cat clients (no dog smells!), which I believe is a testament to the level of care and service they provide. This office is amazing. My dog tore his ACL and my current vet could not handle the TPLO surgery. I was referred to Dr. Cramer by a friend and the process was so easy to get my dog scheduled for the surgery. The most recent trip we saw Dr. Thomas and Patricia, they were very sweet and patient with my pups antisocial tendencies. Our girl muffin has been very sick and even after visits to the vet she wasn't getting any better we found out she had a heart murmur and taking meds for that but still wouldnt eat well Russell kelly wanted a second opinion we knew there was something going on other than her heart murmur well Russell found Lakeview hospital and was on the phone calling and they got her in right away after her exam Dr. Cramer called and told us of his findings and said she needed surgery for the mass they found on her abdomen and he moved his schedule around to do our girls surgery at 3pm and he told us the risks because of her heart murmur but after talking to the doctor and hearing it in his voice we knew our prayers were answered and God sent Dr. Cramer to us and we waited and waited for surgery to be over and when we got that call and it was Dr. Cramer and he told us he not only got the mass that was the size of a softball and she made it through surgery and was doing awesome we knew he is and always will be a Godsend we are forever grateful to Dr. CRAMER and his staff. I cannot give enough kudos to Lakeview Pet Hospital! I live in SE Kansas and my 3 y/o female French Mastiff tore her ACL/CCL last year. I called local practices and they were prohibitive by either being too costly or too business-like. I happened across Lakeview and called them. I was SO impressed with how sweet, understanding and caring that they were! I made an appt - I live 4 1/2 hours away - and they accommodated us to an extent that is hard to believe, considering I'd never been there before. We arrived for her appt one afternoon, they xrayed and took blood samples, etc and kept her overnight (my hotel room was 2nd floor), did the surgery the next morning (I came in that afternoon to love on my sweet, post-OP baby!) and we took her home the next morning. Since then, we haven't experienced any toe-touching, no limping, no post-op infections. She's been rearing to go since we got home! The staff is INCREDIBLE. The doc spent atleast an hour with just us - explaining the procedure, pain management, what to expect post-op. He coordinated with my local vet for follow up xrays that I sent via my phone to see how the healing was. 8 weeks after surgery and she was almost completely healed! Honestly, 4 1/2 hours (one way) seems an extensive amount of drive time but knowing that my fur baby was in such EXCELLENT and skilled hands? PRICELESS. I wish I could give this hospital more than 5 stars. I'm still so very impressed with the warm, caring, compassionate persona of this entire facility. Amy and Matilda

I’ve know the tech Caleb for the longest time. Everyone else up there for years after taking my two kiddos up there. The vets love animals and do right by them. I’ve gone for emergencies and for regular visits! Never once had a complaint! Woman up front at reception are just as kind. A staff can make or break the vet for clients and they are doing just as good of a job! Edit below: 01/24/2021 Lakeview Pet Hospital is home. It is an extension of the family. The receptionists are professional and kind! The first call is always welcomed, whether it's a medication refill or check up. The ladies are always willing to help. The vet assistants and vet techs are kind, confident in their training, and professional. Everyone at the clinic echoes the fear-free clinic value. I have had the pleasure of interacting with each of the vets at the clinic. They are very experienced, always furthering education within the field, they listen to parents' concerns, ask probing questions, and always develop a plan for treatment/follow-ups. I have not had a bad experience here ever. COVID 19 has the clinic taking appropriate precautions for their team and clients. The clinic offers curbside for all needs. After you call the receptionist for a checkup or sick visit, the tech/assistant comes to get your sweet kiddo. The exam is done then you receive a call from the vet who discusses treatment and exam findings. The service level is just as high as it was before covid. It is no secret the clinic is growing. The new building located next door has been making more and more progress. The staff has expanded, but each member is just another perfect addition to the clinic. Braden is a newer employee. He came out to get my girl, who was a bit worried about going into the vet, gently soothed her and shut the car door after taking her in via curbside service. It melts my heart to see the interactions between the clinic and my k9. Dr. Cramer also gives in to those sad puppy eyes. The pup puts on a good show for the vet's treats. Luckily the clinic has low-calorie treats! Hopefully, if you are reading this, you are put at ease knowing this is a special clinic where your pet is safe in their hands.

And you know how it is so rare as to be almost non-existent that you find a business in which all team members possess all three elements? Well, exciting news vet seekers! At Lakeview Pet Hospital, no matter who you get, you will be extremely pleased (and dare I say very appreciative) to consistently experience knowledgeable, thorough, AND nice service. This is especially remarkable for an enterprise that must of necessity often deal with strong and intense emotions, yet everything the team does and says is with grace and compassion. The client service reps, Krista, Sarah, and Bobbie are so kind; they always remember what my pet is being treated for and ask after him. They also call to check on him, and they are patient and comprehensive with all questions and concerns. Dr. Schmitt and Dr. Cramer are amazingly impressive veterinarians; it is very apparent that they are both highly skilled and up-to-date with current research and evidence-based practices. Most of my interactions have been with Dr. Schmitt, but my parents have dealt mostly with Dr. Cramer, and I can absolutely confirm that both doctors are tremendous in scope, knowledge, and “bedside” manner. While I have never had extended personal contact with the vet techs Caleb, Cassidy, Angela, and Dryden, the groomer Janice, or the practice manager Alicia, I imagine they are as superb in service and knowledge as the others since my pet always comes back to me safe and calm, and I have never had a single issue or concern with the practice. Again, it is so rare and surprising to find such a holistic and extraordinary business. I thoroughly and completely recommend Lakeview Pet Hospital.

At Christmas 2009 a puppy named Brutus decided our house looked like a good place to live, and we decided that he was the perfect addition to our family. We chose Lakeview Pet Hospital for Brutus's vet because they were close to work, but they became so much more than just "convenient." They were the only ones we trusted with our little guy. They gave him the same love and attention they would give to a member of their own families. Whenever I would leave him, I knew he was in good hands. For ten years, the staff at Lakeview Pet hospital took excellent care of Brutus--from his annual shots and checkups to regular grooming. When he started suffering seizures, they got him on the right medications to manage his condition. And as he grew older and his health declined they were there to give him the senior care he needed. And in the end when his poor little body was consumed with cancer, they kept him comfortable and did all that they could, and they cried with us when it was time to say goodbye. I can never say enough good things about these wonderful people at Lakeview, but this simple review is my testament to how much I appreciate all they have done during the past ten years. My dog, Beans, was having issues with his paw and I was able to request an appointment online the night before and I was promptly called the next morning to set my appointment. They were able to give me an appointment the same day and I had a minimal wait timeonce I was in the office. While all that is important, I was thouroughly impressed with how they handled my grumpy dog. He is a little dramatic and the Dr was incredibly patient with him. The tech/nursing/front desk staff were beyond helpful. At one point I could hear Beans crying and on multiple occasions they came to check on me and make sure I was ok. After the examin and nail trim, the Dr came in and explained everything that was going on with my geriatric dog. All medication was explained so well and I know exactly what they are for. Lakeview Pet Hospital is very professional, fairly priced and treats the clients like family. I will only take my dog, Beans, to see them and receive his care there.

10 stars, but they only allow 5.... We're going in for TPLO #2 this week and when I realized this would be necessary I made no hesitation in calling Lakeview. Dr. Cramer and his staff exceed my expectations on every visit. I love that every detail and the science of what is happening to my dog, and how the surgery will work is explained to me since knowing the science/process reduces my anxiety as an owner. Dr. Cramer and the staff treat my dog like family, even when she gets a bit noisy and anxious. Recovery from TPLO #1 was effortless and my dog felt better before she was even fully recovered due to the outstanding care provided to her. It was as if she didn't even realize she'd had surgery. I have no anxiety about going through the process again because I know she will be well taken care of and will be able to move even better than before.

In February, my 13yo Shar Pei's face, muzzle, and neck swelled up for the first time in his life. Of course, I panicked and took him to a local emergency vet that I knew was open so late. After $800 and six hours, they essentially gave me an admitted guess and diagnosed him with Familial Shar Pei Fever. This diagnosis required an immuno-suppressant drug that costs upwards of $200+/month for the rest of his life. Mind you - my boy was in perfect health up to this point and all of his blood work came back good. I brought my Shar Pei to Lakeview (my first visit ever at this office) for a second opinion before we committed to such an expensive, long term treatment plan with pretty bad side effects. Within minutes of meeting Dr. Cramer, he called BS on the diagnosis and explained that my dog had none of the symptoms for it, was 13 years older than the average age of diagnosis, and told us that he absolutely did not agree with the diagnosis and strongly suggested against the immuno-suppressant drug. He recommended we try a few weeks of antibiotics and steroids first before jumping the gun like that. And you know what? HE'S PERFECTLY FINE AND HEALTHY NOW! I had never even heard of this vet's office before. A friend of mine works up there and had mentioned something to Dr. Cramer about my dog and the second he heard of the diagnosis I was given, he urged me to come in, squeezed me into his already completely full schedule, and saved me from having to put my sweet old boy on medication that would've ultimately caused more issues (and cost me thousands in the end). I am so unbelievably grateful to Dr. Cramer and my friend Cassidy for recommending me to come in! My Shar Pei is my best friend. I'd absolutely trust Dr. Cramer with any of my pets. It's obvious he truly cares about the animals that come to see him. I've already recommended this office to several people now and will be using them again in the future. 1000% recommend!

Bud and I have been taking our westie, Buster, to "Lakeview Pet Hospital" since 2017. When Buster was 8 months old he was electrocuted, Being that it was early on a sunday morning, we took him to Blue Pearl Pet hospital and was shocked they didn't know what to do for this???. We called Dr. Cramer praying we could reach him. We did, but he was on his way to church in Stillwater . He not only turned around and met us at this hospital, but he knew what to do to save our precious fur baby's life!!! Dr. Cramer has extensive surgical training that we were unaware of!!! He is such a gifted Veterinarian with skills they go beyond anyone would know! He will be our veterinarian for life! He went beyond the call of duty to save our puppy's life and now he is taking care of our little 11 week old westie, Bianca who is our newest member of our family.. I can't say enough about Dr. Cramer and his entire staff...They not only are all highly trained professionals, their hearts are pure, kind and humble to everyone they care for !!!! I highly, highly recommend 'Lakeview Pet Hospital" to everyone who wants the best for their beloved pet!!!

OMG! Thank goodness for Dr Cramer and his team!! My Ruford had been suffering from chronic diarrhea for more than 2 years with 3 visits to another animal hospital but with nothing more specific than irritable bowel. The other place wanted a biopsy on his intestine, which I refused as Ruford is 18 yrs old... We had boarded our healthy females with Dr Cramer, and they were examined and had their vaccines updated. Dr Cramer took the time to discuss their exam results in detail. This we found very impressive! When we asked about Ruford, he said he would be glad to try to help him. He and his team were very good with Ruford, though he was a bit feisty over certain things! However, Dr Cramer gave us a more definite reason for Ruford's plight, and he gave Ruford an antibiotic shot and some recommendation for food. Ruford is indeed finding relief! Dr Cramer and his team are wonderful! They are sympathetic and understanding of our distress over our fur babies - and they handle them with love. The atmosphere is more clam and soothing so our pets and we can feel less stress. Ruford wasn't stressed and was calm as we were leaving... Dr Cramer and his team are wonderful - this is where Ruford, Bella, and Lucky will go whenever they have need of medical care. I have recommended Dr Cramer and this hospital to my friends with pets! I can't say enough good things! Thank you, Dr Cramer, Krista, Sara, and all - you are the best!

I can not express how grateful I am for Dr. Schmitt at Lakeview Per Hospital for saving the life of my 10yr old Schnoodle - Zoey Belle!! Dr. Schmitt had diagnosed her with a blood immune disease, she kept an eye on her and gave me the options of what we needed to do. It came down to either she could get a blood transfusion or we can try to treat her with meds. When her blood levels dipped down to a dangerous level Dr. Schmitt told me she needed the transfusion and knowing I had a tight budget she was there to help me along the way with options for me. My Zoey had the transfusion and the whole time she was at the emergency hospital where this was given she called and kept very well informed of what was going on daily. When she was released it had progressed into kidney failure and she turned diabetic. Dr. Schmitt was very concerned about my finances and helped me along the way to take this the cheapest way for me. She taught me how to treat at home with fluids under the skin for the kidneys and also how to given insulin at home. Zoey had become very sick with the meds for the blood immune disease to where she was on her death bed - Dr. Schmitt figured out it was the medicine and so we took her off of it with hopes she would get past all this. With Dr. Schmitt reaching out to me each morning and night to find out her blood glucose levels and how she was doing was so comforting to know my Vet has real love for her patients and was also so concerned for me as well!! Because of Dr. Schmitt - Zoey is doing fabulous today and totally healed and normal!! I couldn’t be more grateful for the love that Dr. Schmitt has showed us through this horrible journey we went through!! Lakeview Pet Hospital and the whole staff from all the girls at the front who were also concerned and asked how she was daily - and Dr. Cramer have all earned a gold medal in my heart!

My cat got loose and was attacked by a stray dog, she was in bad shape. I frantically went to the vet by my house, they couldn't see her and suggested I go to another vet, they couldn't see her either. So at this point I'm freaking out, I thought I was going to have to put my cat down. By luck, I happened to drive past lakeview and pulled in immediately. Dr. Schmitt was able to see my cat, lily, as soon as I walked in. After assessing everything and calming me down, Dr. Schmitt got lily into emergency care. She personally would call me to give me updates at least once a day for lily's 5 day stay. Even coming in after hours and on her days off to check on her. Remarkably, lily has fully recovered and is back to being the loving cuddle bug that she is. All thanks to Dr. Schmitt and the lakeview staff. They've gained a lifelong client and I will always refer my friends and family to them!

I was able to drop Gracie off before work for an unscheduled visit. Dr. Cramer fit her into his busy schedule. Gracie had been toe-touch down or holding her left rear leg up for 4 days (after chasing a feral cat). The good news is that Gracie did not break her leg, but she does have a Grade 3 sub-luxating patela. She's on Rimadyl twice a day. She was very glad to go home, but she was very well taken care of during her stay. Gracie is an 8 year old 6 pound Chihuahua. I have been going to Lakeview Pet Hospital since 1979. I don't know what I would do if I had to find another place to take my pets.

Long story short, Dr Cramer accurately diagnosed our 98 lb 6yr old mixed breed with Addison's disease after 2 other vets diagnosed kidney failure with no reason and no plan other than fluids & special diet.
