I’ve gone to this vet the 4 years I’ve had my dog and they are incredible. We usually just go for her yearly checkups. This past week she had a bad eye infection & I called them at 7:50 and left a message and they called back soon after letting me know they had an appointment at 10 I could go to. Not having to go to the ER saved me money & saved my dog from having to go to a new an unfamiliar location. They are so sweet with her and she knows she is loved and cared for there. I’m so grateful for them!!!!

They even call in to check up when your pet is sick and go above and beyond to make you both you and your pet are comfortable when visiting the office for a checkup. Best vet ever they care about the animal and the owner. They take the time needed for your pet instead of rushing through the exam. Your pet is definitely safe here they are open 6 days a week and great hours. Prices are well worth it, reasonable for the care and pretty standard. I cannot say enough good things about this vet! I have been coming here for 3 years, ever since I rescued my dog Nova. Through 2 major leg surgeries and a whole lot of anxiety, Northside has been nothing short of amazing to work with! They always make a point to validate my concerns and to work with me and Nova to assure she has the least stressful appointment possible. Having Nova as my first dog also means I have tons of questions; which the staff never fails to answer respectfully and leaving me to feel more comfortable as an owner! We love Northside Animal Hospital! We recently adopted a dog who is extremely nervous and can be difficult to handle. They were able to accommodate us each time we’ve been in and can muzzle our little guy with no fuss! I would recommend this veterinarian to anyone. Recently went here when we adopted a cat. The staff is fantastic. I initially called about scheduling an an appointment and the woman on the phone was so warm and took the time to answer my questions and actually chit chat some. The veterinarian staff members are not only knowledgeable, but they legitimately care about you and your pet. I would highly recommend Northside for your pets.

We take our sugar gliders here. All of the staff are friendly. One of our gliders sustained a foot injury recently and we had to take her every couple of weeks for 3 visits total. The same vet saw her each time and was wonderful. You can see that she cares about people's pets and takes time to explain things. We will continue to go here.

This was our Sphynx cat's initial visit. In these challenging times, the vet tech came out to our car and made us feel very confident in their abilities before taking our kitten inside. After the exam, the kitten was returned to us and the vet called on the phone and explained all she did and saw. She answered all our questions and we did not feel rushed.

Northside has been my vet for a long time. They saved my big orange tiger cat and years later, when he was at the end of life, a vet and tech came to our house to put him to sleep. It meant a lot to us because he hated going to the vet and we wanted him to pass peacefully at home instead of scared at the vet. They really care about your animal.

The facility itself is small but the staff are excellent in the care of any pet. I use this facility for my ferrets because I love the exotic vets and it is close to my home. It does get a bit busy like any other vet facility but the staff are friendly and you always seen to feel comfortable.

If I could give 10 stars I would.I've been bringing my Cats here for the last 10 years. Everyone from the Techs to the receptionist are So kind and courteous.Call you to see how your cat is.They return your call everytime.Recently I adopted my boy Bear. Noticed he had bad breath. Brought him to get checked.Dr.Krogman was concerned he might have something more than dental issues.She ordered blood work to be sent out for presence of Bartonola. Never heard of it. Got a call from her week later.My boy Tested strong positive. She was dead on !!! I'm currently giving him Antibiotics each day for 30 days.He is doing fine.I am so grateful to her knowing my boy Bear will be fine after course of treatments. Thank you Dr.Krogman your the best !!!

You can't find a better exotic vet in the Manchester area. They have not one, but two vets who are very experienced with rats and always err on the side of caution. I have been taking my rats for the past few months and I've overall been pretty pleased. They even trimmed my boy's nails when they neutered him! Excellent rates for the quality service they provide. The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is that the front desk staff are often pretty rude, unhelpful, and dismissive, and it hurts my feelings. I may update after my boy is completely healed from his neuter if anything changes.

I've been taking my cats to Northside since I moved to Manchester in the early 90's. The entire staff really care about the animals they treat, and they always seem to be up to date on the latest research. One of the things I value is that they respect their customers - when I tell them something isn't quite right with one of the cats, they listen and take it seriously. At the same time they're realistic about treatment options, both in terms of what it means to the pets quality of life, and in terms of whether the human can afford to try them. They explain them, and let you make the best decision possible for you and your pet. I wouldn't take my furry kids anywhere else, unless they needed emergency care at 2AM, or a specialist.

This place is a no-frills old fashioned veterinary clinic where they take excellent care of your animal. I have seen everything from cats to hedgehogs and rabbits. They specialize in dogs and cats, but will treat anything. Their techs and vets obviously love what they do and they won’t rob you blind or constantly upsell. They saved my big tiger cat when another vet had traumatized him to the point of death. I will only bring my animals to these people.

They are so incredibly knowledgeable and are really looking to do what's in the best interest of your pet. I have been to vets that try to squeeze every last dime out of you, and never once have I had that experience at Northside. Great staff, great clinic!

I can only account for Northside Animal Hospital's ability to work with rabbits. There are 2 veterinarians who I've worked with for my bunnies. Dr. Krogman is quite competent with rabbits and has a good bedside manner. She's not always up to date on the latest veterinary journals, but she's a quick study and will review articles if you bring hard copies or email them. Dr. Agulnick is reasonably competent with rabbits, but lacks in the bedside manner department and sometimes neglects that the animal's primary caregiver is her greatest resource. At times she seems overconfident and has routinely prescribed medications and supplements for my rabbits that were flavored with poultry or beef, insisting that bunnies will voluntarily eat them if they're mixed with banana (beef-banana is my favorite flavor...) when I called to point out this error in judgement. This adds an additional layer of difficulty to an already stressful task. I've had to make a separate visit to a vet closer to my home to get fruit- or honey-flavored compounded meds which shouldn't have to happen. I still take my rabbits to Northside, but I request to see Dr. Krogman when scheduling an appointment. Beyond that, I find the facilities clean and the staff were helpful and compassionate. They have on-site parking and the main entrance is not wheelchair accessible.

Both of my dogs have been clients of NAH. Fantastic staff both tech's and Vets. When my first dog, Blackie, developed urine problems Dr. Winnie tried many options to discover what was causing the problem. When it became obvious that surgery was necessary, Dr. Winnie found a tumor that was not removable. She rigged at catheter until I was able to get back and say goodbye. Everyone mad the process bearable.

Came two days in a row with my pet and although the vetinarian and vetinary assistants did a great job I did wait over 20 minutes both days to be seen. And I came on time. Having a 7ft long boa constrictor in the waiting room gets quite a bit of negative attention too, which I find unnecessary seeing as it is a vets office and you should expect to see animals there.

My cat was nervous going to the vet and ended up urinating in her cage I transported get in. The tech went ahead and cleaned her up, cleaned up the cage, and gave us a spare towel to place in the bottom of the cage in case she had an accident on the way home. The only negative thing was the prescription food was a little expensive.
