My 3 year old Husky has never been a fan of the vet. Always nervous and scared. However due to a health crisis I made the switch from my last vet and could not be any happier that I made the switch to crossroads. The team that worked with my pup and I was night an day from the last. They talked to her, played with her, and helped her feel comfortable before trying to check her. I’ve never seen her so calm and happy at a vet before. Not only that but due to the serious health crisis my pup went through I had a lot of questions that the doctors and techs answered for me and didn’t seem annoyed and explained it very well. I would recommend crossroads to anyone looking for veterinarian care.

Crossroads Animal Hospital is one of the best vets in NH I have been with them for over 20 years they are very compassionate and caring for your pets as well as you as a pet owner. They have helped me through some very tough times when I lost my companion dog Mickey and then lost my other 3 dogs with in 6 months from old age. The staff was right there to help me through that tough time the doctor even stayed in the room with me to comfort me as I said goodbye. Everyone there is so caring and understanding I cannot say enough good positive things about the staff at crossroads animal hospital. I have referred many of my friends and family members to them.

Everything from beginning to end was wonderful! i was running a little behind for our first visit which gives me such anxiety because I value offices time. I called to let them know I was about 5 minutes away, the receptionist was so sweet and understanding. I was so impressed and my heart made warm by the level of care I felt the staff at Crossroads had for my dog, Coco. Thank you for making an anxious dog mama feel more at ease and for going above and beyond for my best friend. He had a rather intense dental procedure and the vet tech told me she held him when he woke up cold, cleaned up his face after the procedure and even dried and brushed him, all things that she did not have to do, but chose to anyway for me and my dog.

After my regular vet sold his practice I decided to give Crossroads a try. First of all, the waiting room was spacious so my cat didn't need to be uncomfortable by having to wait right next to a dog. I was seen just a few minutes after my appointment time. The vet tech was very sweet to my cat. When Dr. Insalaco examined my cat, he was very gentle. He didn't rush through the exam and took his time to explain everything to me. I appreciated that he called me the next day after hours (9:00 pm) to go over blood test results. Overall, my first experience with Crossroads was positive and that of a nice clean practice with friendly and competent staff and good follow-up.

I would like to extend my appreciation to Crossroads Animal hospital for the care that they gave my cat Rita over the years. Approximately five years ago she was diagnosed with kidney disease. Their recommended treatment cured Rita of this disease. Last week I noticed that Rita had lost weight and wasn’t eating. I brought her to Crossroads and after X-rays and other tests it was determined that she had to be euthanized. They took the time to explain the process and allowed me to be present for it. Clarissa Spadanuta and the technicians assisting her did a great job in carrying this out. I would also like to thank Kelly McCarthy for treating Rita over the years. Crossroads has been our vet since 2002. We have been though quite a few pets in that time including two dogs and four cats who are no longer with us, and two dogs and two cats that are currently being cared for by Crossroads. They are professional and personable, and take the time to really listen and get to know your concerns. The staff, from front desk to the veterinarians, are fantastic and truly care about their patients, human and furry. And, as heartbreaking as it is, they truly show compassion and care when it's time to say goodbye. I've seen them with tears in their eyes as we say goodbye, which truly means something to me, because that's one of the things I remember from that day, and knowing it's not just another euthanasia to them, but a blow to their hearts, too...it matters. I truly appreciate everything they do, and I highly recommend Crossroads for anyone looking for a new vet.

I had an excellent experience at Crossroads! I recently moved and have never taken my dog to a new vet, so I was nervous about going somewhere else--I shouldn't have been. My pup has had some increased thirst and an uncharacteristic accident, so I called and they were able to fit me in the same day, which was amazing (it would take at least 2-3 days to get in to see my old vet). The receptionist and the techs were all so sweet and my shy rescue actually didn't seem terrified! There was even a cute little welcome sign in the exam room with my pet's name on it--such a nice touch. Dr. Hertel was knowledgeable about recent studies and obviously keeps current with research. He wanted to wait for a urinalysis before putting my pup on any medications unnecessarily, which I appreciated. He also noticed her vaccines are due soon, but didn't want to do it this appointment since we're still trying to figure out what's going on. He said to make a follow-up appointment and they'd waive the office visit charge that time! It's very clear that they are not trying to drain your pockets, but actually provide the best care for your animal. Definitely take your pet here! I'm very happy I switched.

Everyone at Crossroads is amazing. We have been driving from Methuen to bring our pets there for 15+ years because of the caring, compassionate doctors & techs there. They go above & beyond at all times, and we couldn't be more thankful! When we had to make the decision to help our 15yr old pitbull stop suffering from her cancer, they opened the office early for us and had a room ready with dim lighting, soft music, lots of comfy blankets, etc. But the part that will always stay with me is that the doctors came and cried with us!!

I had been taking my cat there since I moved to Londonderry in 2009. I would recommend Dr. Wyett or Dr. Grove. They are both professional and really care about the animals and their pet parents. Sadly my cat had advanced kidney disease and at 17 years old crossed the rainbow bridge in their office. Dr. Grove couldn't have been more compassionate. My cat passed peacefully in my arms, first falling asleep with a sedative. She made a very tough day bearable. After almost a year, I got a new rescue cat and I will be taking him to Dr. Grove or Wyatt at Crossroads.

This is absolutely the BEST office around. Dr. Hertel is so knowledgeable and kind, he goes out of his way on days off, and after hours calls us to check in on our dogs when they were sick. They will squeeze you in when they are full to avoid you having to go to urgent care, overall this is absolutely the best vet hands down.

Dr. Ensalaco did a superb job removing a cyst from our dog's eye lid. It looks beautiful and cleaned out! There were no infections. The dissolvable soutures are still there only 2 doing its job and the surgery was 4/13/20. They listened to our concerns and respected our wishes. We got a follow up call to see how he was doing and the Tech Assistant was friendly from beginning to end to ease our nerves.

Be sure to call ahead for any of your prescriptions a couple of days. You will have a bit of a wait to check-in pick up prescriptions and to check out. It's worth it it's a very professional place that takes care of your animal and helps you learn how to take care of your animal at home as well which saves you money. They're not out for your money.

If you are looking for a Veterinary Hospital you absolutely must go to Crossroads Animal Hospital in Londonderry, NH. The doctors and staff are exceptional in their field. Every question or concern that you could possibly have about your pet will be answered. Always respectful and never rushed during a visit for any reason.

The doctors and tech's very pleasant, large check-in/waiting area. Checking out waiting time most times take awhile 10-15 minutes, they installed these plugins for animals with stress but most times they are empty. All minor negative issues very happy over all.

I agree with the overmedicating. I wish they knew more about the herding breeds and the collie. Their brains cannot handle it. i have records on file about her mutant/mutant genes. she needed shots BUT not all at once. she went lethargic and it was unnecessary if they paid attention to detail and breed medication rules.
