Been my vet for 30 years! I support the changes and growth and appreciate the fact the service is still the same!! Dr V and Dr Wilson have built A great business and I will continue to patronize this place- Thanks guys for always having compassion for my furry family!! I highly recommend for multiple reasons but what I love most is the fact they will get you in and out on a moments notice- I recommend everyone know them before you need them!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!!!

This was my second time going to this place. I’ve been in so many places trying to find the right doctor for my baby but everywhere they are caring about the money and not the pets which is really sad considering that our pets are innocent souls and they are depending on us as humans. I haven’t had any issues with my baby in 3 years since I have him but I wanted to find a caring doctor just in case. On 09/06/22 I went with my baby boy BRUTUS which is a Rottweiler, as an emergency but Dr. V wasn’t there so I got Dr. Lucas which was more than I expected, very kind, caring, he was listening at everything I said and answering my question very detailed, he did everything he could to figure it out what was wrong with my baby. I felt so good and released to see that there are still some doctors which they care so this will be the place to always go if necessary . The nurses were great as well. Thank you team!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

We’ve tried a view different vets but these guys take amazing care of our babies. We have a tendency to adopt old, stray cats and give them a quiet place to live out their days and when they need treatment this is where we take them. They’ve always been caring and show. Genuine interest in our cats so we will keep bringing them back here.

In February I had to put my fur baby sissy down she was 18 and Dr Baker and his staff were very helpful and very sympathetic. This current visit I adopted a rescue dog and Dr Baker had him check him over to see if he was really good and his health wise which I got an excellent review on him and that's our Toby

My family and I have been using this veterinarian for over 20 years. They have been thorough and attentive to all of our pets. They send out reminders for your pets for follow up and immunization schedules. When my dads dog ended up with parvovirus (as a puppy) they did everything they could to save him (they allowed my dad to come in and spoon feed his puppy). They care deeply for the pets and families they service.

Always available to accommodate your pet needs. My boy broke a nail in half and needed immediate care. My vet wasn't available for a week, Cheyenne got me in same day, cared for the wound at a very affordable price. Friendly staff. I've been using this facility for years for my pet needs

Amazing experience! My daughters dog needed emergency surgery for pyometra but my daughter could not afford to get the surgery done because every vet we talked to wanted between $1900-$3000. Also there was no vet we could find that would even be able to do surgery for at least a week and our dog did not have that kind of time. After being on the phone for many hours, with many places and having no luck at all, I finally found Cheyenne Tonopah animal hospital and gave them a call and it was immediately a different experience than every other place I had called! First of all I was not placed on hold for 30 minutes right after saying"hello" instead I was able to tell Hunter what was going on and he was very nice and sympathetic. He told me that they were pretty booked up but if I didn't mind being on hold for a few minutes he would go talk to the doctor and see if they could squeeze us in. True to his word I was only on hold about 5 minutes. He let me know that they could get us in, and he quoted me a much lower price so we made the appointment. I drove all the way from California to meet my daughter and take her dog in for surgery. Everyone at the hospital was Amazing! Dr. V did an awesome job, our dog had the surgery, and she is now home and doing so much better! Thank you all so much for taking care of us and our fur baby so well❤️

I have been using this vet service for about 20 years or so. I loved the friendly atmosphere and great value for what I paid. Now I wait in the car for them to come get my dog and do the same when I pick her up. There is no interaction with the doctor and the prices have risen substantially. The staff is always really nice and they take great care of my dog but I miss the service we were accustomed to.

The staff was wonderful. They listened to all my concerns and questions. My only concern was my babies were new to the clinic and I was not allowed in with them to see the clinic, meet the techs or doctors and make sure the dogs and myself were comfortable, but I would recommend the clinic because the staff was so great.

Last week my dog got operated at a different vet and I have had so many issues on her healing, so I called back to Cheyenne Tonopah hospital to see if Dr. V still worked here and my luck he does! So I brought my dog to him got a second opinion and although we have to wait for the lab results I have no doubt that I have made the right decision to come back!

I took my dog in because her nails on her back paws grew into the paw (so sad 😞). I was kind of skeptical when they took her inside and I had to wait in my car. Dr. Lucas came outside himself to let me know what was going on, which I thought was very professional. A few minutes later they brought my dog out to me. Even though my little Frenchie has no tail, you could see the imaginary one wagging. She was so happy. I will be bringing my dog back to this place. Thank you so much!!!

So I've recently taken one of my outside cat's (Slinky), here for a leg injury he incurred while interacting with one of the many other cat's in the neighborhood. It was an infected puncture wound that needed some extra care as well as an FIV test to make sure he could freely be introduced my two house cat's. The doctor's and staff have been friendly and helpful which is great when having issues with one of your beloved pets, so that was nice. The initial visit for the minor surgery, (meds and sedation included) was around $1,100. A bit pricey, but acceptable. The FIV test was $139. I've never needed one of those for any cat I've dealt with so I don't know of that's really a good price or not. So all in all a fairly expensive and unexpected vet bill. However; I am happy with the experience and I'll give you guy's a five star rating when your construction is complete and I can come in with my pet's.

They are still under construction, so you still can't go in with your dog. I have one dog that's a rescue so she won't be going until construction is over. Also when the doctor calls you, to discuss your pet you don't remember everything you need to ask.

We just adopted Jasper (on the right) and they have taken such wonderful care of him. He was injured prior to us adopting and they took care of his broken leg and he is well on the road to recovery. We've been using Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital for years with our older dog. I believe it's the most affordable vet clinic in Las Vegas yet very professional. We brought in our rescue puppy yesterday that had multiple health issues, broken toe and needed a surgery on his eyes as poor thing wasn't able to see for months.. Dr. V did an amazing job addressing all it's health problems in just one visit. Mochee was able to see right after he woke up from the surgery and now is on a path to a fast recovery and healthy happy life. After having Dr. V out for 2 weeks and going through two sister Golden Retrievers' moderate to severe medical problems with a couple of the other veterinarians, I thought it could go poorly. I was wrong. A small goof on placing a lab test in a file caused a wait on getting results was the only hiccup. All three veterinarians were kind, professional, and caring. The lay staff was very kind and accommodating. This is especially tough with Covid still around and their hospital/clinic still finishing refurbishing. Kudos to all and as a retired veterinarian, I am happy to refer you to this clinic and staff.

This place just rocks. The staff is very very helpful. My dog’s regular vet on the east side is always so busy and has very limited Parking space so I had to go to Cheyenne Animal hospital. Once when my male Pit swallowed a chew toy and caused a blockage and had emergency surgery and the other time when My female pit pulled a muscle in her rear leg.

We are newer to the area and did not have a positive experience at the first veterinary clinic we brought our pets to. When our dog had a torn dew claw that needed immediate attention, we knew we didn’t want to bring him in to the previous clinic. We scoured reviews on Google and decided to call Cheyenne Tonopah AH. They told us to bring him in right away. The care team was so kind and comforting to not only our anxious pup but his anxious mama (finding a new vet is stressful!). My husband and I waited in the parking space during our dog’s procedure and we’re also impressed with how all staff members interacted with other pets and their parents in the lot. The vet and technician was very thorough and answered all my follow up questions kindly and patiently. When our Moose came out with a wagging tail, I knew we had found the right place!

I would recommend this vet. We moved to Vegas 2 years ago, and had not found a vet we liked yet. Their process was very smooth and everyone was so nice and caring. My dog had a hurt paw, I did not believe it was any type of fracture as we watch him very closely. The way it was presenting looked much like an infection. Dr. Mendez was very calm and kind with our dog and examined him throughly. He recommended medicine but gave us the option of if we wanted an X-ray at this time. He did not push it on us, like I have seen in other vets do. He answered all our questions and concerns. We opted for just medicine at this time and to see how it went. He was very understanding of our decision. So thankful for this vet we will be using Dr. Mendez as our vet here in Vegas until we leave. Also, pricing is very fair. We paid $157 for 3 medications and an exam, and they offer military discount on everything except medications and vaccines.

If you have to take a pet in... (which I dread doing) at least they were nice and gentle with my little man... he didn't seem traumatized at all and I even had some girls from the back come into my room to compliment me on my well behaved cat. The Dr. explained everything thoroughly and didn't charge me for things I didn't really want to do... I really appreciate the honesty. My pet was seen in good time but everything was done in the parking lot. The exam was with a vet who called me from the building after seeing my dog. This is completely unnecessary at this point. Someone is a little psyched out about this Covid. How long is this going to go on? 99% of businesses are open normally with no problem.

Dr. Lucas is amazing. You can tell her truly loves animals. He took time with us and made out elderly dog feel as comfortable as possible (she hates being at the vet). My boxer needed to have her ears checked out and an infection taken care of. They still do the covid thing where we wait in the car and call when we get there and they come out and they just take the dog now which I'm not real happy about that or I don't really like it because I want to be there when the doctors checking her out. Normally I'm in and out of there and everything goes smoothly today I was sitting in my car for over 2 hours waiting for her to be taken care of. I think someone should have told me I could have left or how long it was going to be and I can make the decision but anyway not a good use of my time.

Cheyenne- Tonopah has the most caring doctors and staff of the many, many vets I’ve seen over the years. They don’t try to run up your bill with unnecessary tests or charges. They give you all possible treatment options and let you choose what is best for you. They will patiently answer as many questions as you have without ever rushing you out. They truly care about the wonderful dogs and cats they see. You can tell by their demeanor towards them they love each one. As for the staff, they are all kind and caring towards the sweetie pies they see and their parents. They are superior at their jobs, both the veterinary assistants and the office staff. They treat you like family, not just another person to deal with. Everyone is friendly and the staff turnover seems to be zero percent as I have come to know most by name, and I’m terrible with names. If you want nothing but the best care for your baby or babies, please give this fabulous place your business. It’s a converted home off Cheyenne and Rancho. No fancy unnecessary art work or flowing fountains, but the people inside this veterinarian office treat your pets and you like royalty. I know this review sounds sappy but I’ve lost more than one dog to inept vets and am so grateful to know that will never happen again.

I had a great experience at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital. The staff was friendly and I was able to get a same day appointment. My pup ripped his dew claw. The vet was great! She came into the room with great energy and was able to clip the dew claw without any unnecessary sedation...She was also able to clip all of my dog's toenails (which has never happened!). I was in and out of the office in about 30 minutes. The service was very affordable as well. I will go back!

Great and caring vets and techs. My cat overnight became very ill. The vet discussed several possible treatment courses and worked with me to decide what I wanted done. I was not forced or shamed into doing any tests I did not want to have done on my cat (something I'd experienced before at a different vet yrs prior with my dog). I have been coming to this vet for about 6 years. In the last three weeks i have been in more than all my trips combined. I usually see Dr. V or Dr. Wilson and they are both phenomenal!! I couldn't say enough about how great they are. Over the last few weeks I have seen just about everyone and I even got to meet one of the newer doctors there, Dr. L. I was actually unaware that they brought anyone else in but I just wanted to say how wonderful she was as well. One of the times i came in and saw her my baby wasn't feeling well and she knelt down to the ground and stayed down there petting him the whole time she was talking to me. My dog does not like going to the vet but when she did that he went straight to her, tail wagging! I also want to give a shout out to some of the front office staff; Hunter and Kay are amazing! They are always beyond helpful and go out of their way to make your visit and/or phone calls pleasant. It's always a great experience to bring my animals to this vet a good people they're nice good prices and very helpful even on the phone they will help and recommend and advise and sometimes it's not even them advising you to bring your pet in to see them it's a way to fix it at home to save you some money. The only thing that I would change is the amount of time it takes to charge an individual after service has been rendered. That's the only thing I would change. Maybe same person who brings animal to the car charges at same time idk. Regardless that one little complaint is nowhere near enough to say anything bad complain or not do business with this great veterinarian hospital.

We have gone to Chey-Ton since 1992. We had moved to a new home and our cat got very ill over Thanksgiving weekend-Chey-ton was the closest vet. Dr. Wilson, (one of the original vets and owners) took her home over that weekend to nurse her. That is unprecedented in my book! Unfortunately, our cat had terminal kidney disease and didn't make it, but we knew that this place and vets were special and caring. Dr. V is a god in my book. He is so good at explaining what's going on with your pet without sounding patronizing or arrogant. The support staff is always polite and caring as well. This is the ideal for your pets care.

When we moved to Las Vegas in 2014 a co-worker recommended this veterinarian and we had a good experience each time. Often times the staff was short in the office and rude over the phone, making us feel we wanted to switch at times. Also, we were not called back after inquiring about a procedure our pet had there. Another time we were offered a medicine to be given in the office and I said yes, come to find out it cost more than 3 doses I could easily give at home. That was not upfront and we did not appreciate the extra charges. I always felt my dog was being safely treated though and that is important.

Just moved here to Vegas. Got frustrated after I called two other vet clinics nearby that placed me on hold for more than 5 min. Then, called Cheyenne Tonopah clinic and my call was answered immediately. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. At our appt. The wait in the clinic was quick even though I had to fill out first-time-patient paperwork. The receptionist was so friendly and answered all my questions. Dr Wilson seemed like the kind of doctor that genuinely cares about your pets and your concerns. He was attentive and super nice. My daughter felt like he really cared about her new puppy. We also brought our other dog, Scrappy, so we could introduce him to Dr. Wilson and he checked him out even though we didn't make an appt for him. This place is the small town family feeling and understand that your pets aren't just pets, they're family too. I was surprised when I got my bill it was less than I expected to pay, unlike other vets that gouge you unnecessary fees. My fur babies and I Will be coming here from now on. Was mandated to bring my arthritic 12 year old boy in before the office would authorize a refill of his pain medication. Car trips are difficult for him, even with our ramp. Surprise! We have been taking our dogs to see Dr. V at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital for the past 9 years. We absolutely Love all that Dr. V and Dr. Wilson have done for our beloved dogs all these years. We even moved to the other side of the Las Vegas Valley and we still travel 45 minutes to an hour (one way), just to see the vets at Cheyenne Tonopah. Whenever I need help in getting a prescription refilled or just to ask a question, I know I can call Dr. V and he will call me back just as soon as he gets a chance. We have had to put three of our dogs to sleep due to an illness and old age. Dr. V helped us in a caring and loving way. He felt our pain and sorrow just as much as we did. The office staff has always been very accommodating and friendly. Our entire family could not imagine going to any other vet. Thank you to the entire staff at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital!

After much research I was referred here to have one of my pets put down. For $100 they allowed me to be in the room with her as she was going to sleep. Everything was lovingly explained and the genuine love and concern was evident in the faces of the staff. They work with a local crematorium who will humanely spread her ashes over the pet cemetery. Some vets charged twice as much, others less but without the humanity of a somewhat decent "goodbye". It was my first time having to put a member of our family to sleep. That being said, it was as kind as it could be. I have other pets and this will be my new vet ❤

I've been taking my furry kids (both dogs and cats) here for years. They are great! Most recently we had to bring our cat in...losing hair at his hind end and open wounds. Turned out he had a 104 fever and a huge abscess from infection all across his back section. I was presented a couple of options on how to handle it, and chose to do the surgery. I left him there overnight, they did surgery in the morning, and I picked him up in the afternoon. They're currently helping me with the wound/incision care at no extra expense which is SUCH a huge help! I have never doubted their knowledge or advice, and they are fair in their pricing. I highly recommend the folks at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital!~

Unfortunately, we recently had to euthanize our dog. I called and asked for Dr. Vanderlinden to discuss details and get an understanding of the process. He promptly returned my call and spent time gathering information and asking delicate questions. As I recently had major surgery, it was impossible for me to take our dog to the office. Dr.s V and Wilson are amazing. Dr. Wilson felt my dog's knee and said she had a torn acl. Because the surgery was $3000, I got a second opinion. The other vet suspected torn acl, but could not confirm without $400-600 for xrays. More recently, I took my cat to see Dr. V. He had to stay for a few days to have his kidneys flushed, but the Dr knew right away what was wrong. My cat doesn't like strangers, but he climbed up on Dr. V and gave him love. They are definitely my mammal vet. I only wish they had a reptile expert there too.

This would have been 5 stars except the fact the receptionist was short, rude, dismissive when I explained why I was there. She never once said "hello" with a smile. Matter of fact I never saw her smile at all, even when I was making casual jokes. I may not be funny but a courtesy smile is well received. When I walked in she said " how can I help you " in a monotone voice with flat facial expression. When I said I just spoke with you in the phone... " she interrupted and said " oh ya, fill this out" ... Just not very welcoming to a first time client with a sick dog. There are many pet hospitals in the immediate area and I could have gone to another. But all in all I am glad I overlooked her attitude because Dr. V. Was welcoming, smart and had my dogs best interest. Thanks.

CTAH has been my vet for over twenty years. I have had to take some of my pets to other vets because I used to foster and had to take them to their vet. I can honestly say no other animal hospital can compare to CTAH. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!

This hospital was absolutely wondeful to my poor little dachsie who paralyzed at that time with a ruptured disc. I was having trouble expressing her urine and I called the hospital 15 minutes before they were supposed to close. They told me to bring her in. We travel from Summerlin to No. Las Vegas and would never think about going anywhere else. We were referred 13 years ago when our Sparky came down with encephalitis and Dr. Jim would come outside to the vehicle and treat him daily with an injection. Let me start by saying I was at craig road animal first which i have went to on and off for 17 years and today i finally got fed up this time because i was already there for 45 min and when asked when i was gonna be seen was told another 25-30 mins (their was alot of irritation already because when i got there there was only 3 people but anyways i called Cheyenne Tonopah and they told me they had no wait (i expected a little bit of wait due to how a walk in works) but i was in and out in 25 min!!!!! And they had schedualed clients, and i had paper work to fill out , oh and the best thing is when the bill came i wasnt shell shocked!!!! There staff and drs are amazing!!!! I will be coming here for now on!!!!!
