I brought Charlie in three weeks ago for a massive ear hematoma. The office was super efficient and got him right in for surgery the same day. Everyone we spoke to or had any interaction with was friendly, caring and I definitely felt like they all had Charlie’s best interests in mind. That being said, I do have to agree with several other reviews, they are EXPENSIVE. I understand as an emergent care facility, the price is obviously more than a regular vet, this was just a lot more than I could have anticipated. Both vets that spoke with us (Dr. Dodda and Dr. Siva) and handled Charlie over the last three weeks are knowledgeable and supportive, all the techs obviously love animals as well. Everyone made sure we understood all care instructions and medications and gave us an estimate before anything was done. We fully appreciate the level of care our dog received here just wish price was a little more manageable. Will return again if needed though!

The staff was wonderful especially the young girl that took care of Pixie. I wish I would of gotten her name she was very compassionate and thorough with her follow up the entire time. They were extremely busy and she kept the communication open the whole visit. The down side of course the price is ridiculous.

Took our husky in after waking to find a cut on her head. Appointment was made easy, showed up early and they took her right in. Was very fast very good communication and worked with me well for what she needed. I love how friendly the staff was and I enjoyed the curbside since I had 2 small children in the car with me. Great experience and will go back if anything comes up with any of our pups. Was referred to vetcheck by emergency vet who felt they would do better with our situations since it wasn’t a serious emergency. Very happy with them, highly recommended.

I was able to get an appointment within an hour of me calling. The staff were friendly and great with my baby boy. They are upfront about cost before moving forward with treatment. I will be back in the need of urgent care. Madison thank you for the follow up call checking ob my boy .

Our regular vet couldn't see us, and we found VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center and couldn't be happier with our experience. We were able to call, make an appointment, and have our pup seen for her injured paw same day. The level of care and communication was amazing! Nearly 5 minutes after we arrived, they came out to get our dog and immediately got to work diagnosing the issue. The vet on staff was incredibly kind, and came out to let us now what was happening every step of the way.

I took my boy Carter there today thinking he was going to die. My heart was crushed. When I returned, The girls there were walking him around and loving on him. This is an amazing place and I would give my life for my doggie so I definitely owe them big time. I cannot tell at all how much I appreciate their understanding and compassion for animals. I'm new to this area and this will be my every time go to from here on out. If the doctor or any of you ladies read this, please know from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am. Thank you all so much. He came straight home and crashed as he is still doped up. Trust me I'm sleeping with him tonight and will be up every 2 hours to check on him. Praying hard that he will be okay but I know you all did everything you possibly could for me today and I couldn't be more appreciative.

Traveled home for the holidays and found it was my boy, Hank’s last trip home as his cancer finally took hold. The Doctor and Staff VetCheck was there to help make sure he was no longer in pain and allowed, for the both of us, a peaceful goodbye. We were greeted with compassion and understanding, that then continued throughout the whole experience. A couple months later, I received the kindest card from the staff with their condolences. It couldn’t have come at a better time, this holiday season. So nice. Super fast service. Nay was my nurse and she was so sweet and a pleasure to work with. The prices were not that bad considering its an urgent care. My only complaints is they for got to give me back my drivers license so I had to go back and get it and I was told they would email my receipt and I didn't get it. They were amazing with my Kitten though and got her right in. I literally was in and out. Will defiantly use then again if my normal vet is unavailable.

I brought my sweet, senior dog in for an emergency visit. He was greeted with exceptional care in a very timely manner. Everything was explained in detail throughout each step of his visit. I had to travel 1.5 hours to have my dog seen after hours since we do not have an emergency clinic near us, it was well worth the drive! Thank you for the wonderful care you provided for my Charlie!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the time they 1st came to my car until they delivered my dog - top notch service. They were great at providing updates along the way as well as informing you everything they were doing. They supplied me with my final bill and I was frantic and not able to pay that much. I also didn't qualify for financing. They worked on bringing my bill down and brought it down by atleast $500 to a much more affordable price. A++ in my book!! I will continue to come here if I have a pet emergency. Thank you for caring and taking such good care of my dog!

Very easy to work with, scheduling us an appointment for Saturday evening for our dog to have surgery for a deep laceration on his eyebrow. A much better option than sitting in an urgent care room for 4-6 hours waiting (had called around to ten other places and no one else allowed us to schedule ahead). The staff were all very kind and caring and did an amazing job taking care of our pup! Thank you!!

Everyone was so professional and showed interest in my dog. They were not able to allow people in due to the construction going on, but they gave me adequate time to explain my concern before taking her in. After the exam, the doctor came out and explained what he recommended and got my permission before proceeding. I was provided cost information about the appt and all procedures-there were no surprises. We were in the middle of a long holiday weekend and they called the next day to see how she was doing. I highly recommend this team!

VetCheck Fishers does what's best for your pet! I called seeking an emergent appointment, and Allie put me on the schedule but also recommended calling a specialist at another office because that might be a better option for the condition my pet needed seen for. When I was able to get our pet an appointment with that specialist, I called back to cancel our appointment and she was so gracious. I truly appreciate them putting the needs of our dog first! Hopefully we won't need emergent care again soon, but if we do, VetCheck Fishers will be who we see!!

My puppy took a pretty bad fall and was noticeably scared and hurt and these guys took him in immediately and fixed him up. The vet did a great job and his staff made Red feel very comfortable and I can tell they care a lot!

Despite being pricey, I have all good things to say about this location. They got my pup a same-day appointment and got her exams, diagnosis, and treatment prescribed within 2 hours. Staff was friendly, described everything to me in detail, and was very accommodating of my dog and her separation anxiety (no people allowed inside due to construction). Definitely a top-notch urgent care for pets!

We called ahead to check availability and were seen an hour later. Our dog hurt his leg and the whole staff took excellent care of him. We received detailed instructions on how to care for him, future care, and what to expect. From start to finish, we were there 3 hours for paperwork, exam, x-rays, treatment, and discharge. I brought my fur baby in for an emergency visit after he has been seen at another place and was not improving. VetCheck took care of my baby and made sure I understood everything that was going on and how it would be treated and need to continue to be treated at home. My baby is so much better and back to being the rambunctious, fun, energetic puppy he was before!! I can not say enough good things about this Urgent care center and I definitely would recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in a predicament where your fur baby needs tender loving care and medical attention!

Friendly staff, little wait for an appointment on the weekend. Thorough exam and treatment plan. Glad they are in our community for emergencies and care on the weekends. Pros: The people there were very nice, my dog got good care, it wasn’t a long wait time, and I was treated with respect. Cons: The cost was extremely high, over $600 to make my dog throw up the chocolate he had eaten. But I guess that’s what happens on Sundays. I saved several hundred dollars by refusing some of the procedures offered that I felt were unnecessary (IV fluids and activated charcoal).

Updated: took my cat for another issue two years later. They’re still doing the curbside thing, which I get in a way, but other vets aren’t doing it anymore, and in an urgent situation, it’s really anxiety inducing and having the vet come out and talk to you for half a second feels rushed and impersonal. Also, they overcharged me for one of the supplements they gave me (found for 1/4 the price online) and the appetite stimulant (found for less than half the price online). I went to the ER a few days later when she stopped eating again and started getting sick to her stomach. Wait was way longer, but exam was only $30 more and they charged me significantly less for Sub Q fluids. The ER doctor had better “bedside manner” as well when we finally saw her, even though the outcome was the worst, Also wish the VetCheck doctor would’ve thought to check my cat for UTI after seeing her kidney numbers. Tech was very kind though.

The vet assistants here are the best I have ever encountered, in everything from knowledge to customer service. I cannot be happier with making this the main vet for my puppy which unfortunately has had a few medical issues! THE BEST customer service, from the lobby, through intake and the lead as well!

Prompt courteous service. The “contactless” service worked well. Our dog, Emma, was diagnosed accurately and expertly and was provided the proper care that led to her full recovery. Highly recommend this service for any pet owner who needs urgent care. We are from out of town, and no local Indy vets take walk-ins, so this was a Godsend.

My boyfriend and I have three dogs, and had a very last minute situation this morning regarding boarding them for our trip and their vaccinations needing to be updated. When I first called this morning, I was informed that the vet wouldn't be able to see all three pups. However, Natosha called us a few minutes later to let us know that there had been a cancellation, so we could bring all three in. We seriously appreciated that so much. The nurse, Abe, was so kind and the Vet, Dr. Balasunder Dodda, came out to give us some updates on how our dogs were doing. I wish we had this vet location closer to us because we now live in Westfield. Thank you all again!!!

My cat Sid has been very sick and when my normal vet would not see him, they did. Explained everything in detail. When meds should be given ect… received calls to check on him. Everyone in the office has been very supportive and helpful. Thanks everyone for taking such great care of my fur baby.

Alex got the best care . He was unable to walk . But with his nails clipped shorter and arthritis meds he is running around. I recommend this place because my vet was closed and we needed them after work. we were there from 7 pm to 8 pm. Life saver!! Could not sleep knowing my dog was in pain.

We were greeted Sunday morning by our 2 year old Doberman with her left eye swollen shut , After calling the local ER Hospitals , all with a 3 to 4 hour ( No Guarantee on time wait time ) . One recommended calling Vet Check in Fishers . I gave them a call and they had an appointment open and was able to get us right in , We were greeted by professional's from Receptionist , Vet Tech to Doctor .. No messing around - took our Dober girl right back , examined her eye , Doc came in to explain his thoughts , was treated and we were on our way back home . Dober girl is doing lots better this morning and her eye is just about back to normal , Thanks ! -- With a special Shout out to Kathryn the Vet Tech - thanks again

We are so thankful for Dr. Siva and his incredible team! They saved our sweet pup Kota's life today. My husband and I were extremely worried when our almost year old pup was acute vomiting all over our home. Once we were getting close to the 24 hour mark, we began to panic because our normal vet was closed, and we were concerned waiting a day would be too late for him. My husband took Kota in on Saturday night, and Dr. Siva thoroughly performed tests, and recommended surgery first thing the next day. When we called our normal vet to cancel our appointment we booked online and told them everything happening, they also highly recommended him. Dr. Siva was very open and thorough in communicating every outcome and preparing us for all scenarios. Thankfully, he was able to retrieve a huge obstruction in Kota's intestine that would not have passed otherwise. Dr. Siva updated us as soon as the surgery was complete, and continued to answer all of our questions, and let us come visit our puppy. We could not be more thankful for his hard work in addition to his amazing team for saving our dog's life! We could not recommend this team enough. We are so grateful!

My sweet girl was attacked by another dog and the ladies were so quick and gentle with her when clipping and cleaning her wounds. I was also able to come on short notice and when we arrived everyone was eager to help and love on her. Very knowledgeable and overall made the situation easy on both me and my girl. She got the love and care she needed and I’m so glad I went here. The stitches look good. The areas shaved look so good. Overall very neat and professional.

I brought in my kitten that I had just adopted yesterday with a terrible eye infection so bad she could hardly even open her eye. VetCheck got us in within about 30 minutes of us calling and were upfront about the pricing being a little bit more expensive since it is an Urgent Care Center. They had her cleaned up and treatment ready within about 35-45 minutes of her being inside, all the while keeping us posted on what the doctor was doing. They took great care of her and her eye is already 3x better than before. Super helpful and friendly staff who are very communicative which definitely puts you at ease since they only offer curbside.

Appointment was made easily so that was convenient. Curbside service which I found odd but apparently they are remodeling the inside so did not have the room. Everyone was very friendly and efficient and informative. My only complaint is I felt they were trying to sell me on things I clearly didn't need. My 3 year old Jack Russell had an eye infection that was obvious to me and should have been to the on site vet as well. But I was requested to have a lot of unnecessary tests preformed. Eye pressure, eye dryness I opted out but did have the test to check cornea and for scratches as I felt that one necessary. That came back negative so as suspected, eye infection. Then came the medications recommended - steroid injection, antibiotic injection, medicated eye drops, and an ointment to rub on the eye and a cone of shame. I have a donut that is much more comfortable for my dog at home so declined. I did not understand antibiotic injection and questioned, aren't he drops antibiotic? Answer was they are medicated. I would prefer antibiotic drops. She had to go check. With all of the medications and the 1 eye scratch test it would have been almost $500. After my asked question that in fact the drops are antibiotic. I opted out of antibiotic injection, approved steroid injection, opted out of ointment. Got the antibiotic drops and total was just under $300. Pricey for an eye infection in my opinion but again, paid more for the convenience. I would go here again if necessary as my vet could not get me in for 2 weeks but watch for being pressured into things not needed.

This was the only emergency vet within 45 minutes of downtown Indy that could get us in ASAP. I called at 11:50 AM and they saw us at 12:30 pm.. our family appreciated how quickly they saw our dog. Obviously going to an urgent care for your pet is never fun, but they took extremely good care of our little girl, and had her all fixed up within a reasonable amount of time. They were very transparent with pricing, what needed done, and you can tell they all definitely love animals. I did not get the Vets name - but he was very nice and made sure to inform us of what was going on with our pup. The only "downside" is it is curbside so you can't be in the room, but there is no doubt they provided my dog with the best care possible when I could not be next to her. I hope we don't have an emergency situation again, but if we do, we will definitely be calling Vetcheck first. 10/10 recommend!

After coming home in Easter Sunday and seeing that my sweet old lady Golden Retriever was obviously hurting, I was in a panic. I placed a call to VetCheck and they got us in within 10 minutes. They quickly diagnosed the issue, filled us in on what was going on, got her medication, including IV fluids and sent us on our way. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and called the next day to follow up, as well as contacting our vet to let them know about the issue. I was so grateful that they were open on a holiday! Most definitely not a cheap visit but well worth it for our old girl!

I was recommend to come here from a veterinary ER center. They had an urgent care appointment opening available a few hours after I called, cared for my cat well, and made sure I understood how to treat my cat with the prescriptions they sent home. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and caring. The day after my visit they called to check in and make sure my critter was feeling a bit better which was a kind gesture. The itemized bill they send out after the appointment helps makes sense of how quickly costs can add up, but I feel overall they were very reasonably priced. I would fully recommend them and use their services in the future!

This place was amazing! They got me in that same day to look at my cat. The veterinarian and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They took great concern and showed that they were empathetic. Next day my cat is feeling 100% better thanks to the great care that she received. They even called me on Sunday to check on her. I am so impressed!! Thank you VetCheck!

This was the only Emergency Vet open on Sundays within an hour of Noblesville. I called at 9am and they had my dog inside being seen by 9:30 am. They were very transparent with pricing, what needed done They made sure to explain everything thoroughly, and answer any questions that I could possibly ask. The whole procedure was done and my dog was Able to be taken home by 12:30 PM. They took really good care of her the whole time, and every interaction I had with every employee was nothing but exceptional. Very friendly, very clean, and very good at what they do. 10/10 would recommend, and this is where I will be taking my baby for any future mishaps.

We received great care for our Scrappy at VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center. The staff was friendly and prompt. Scrappy was taken care of and sent home with the food and medications he needed to continue treatment. Our sweet dog McAfee got into some cleaning chemicals he never should have gotten to. We were concerned for his health and right away rushed him over to the closest vet to us. They took such great care of our precious dog. Not only did they instantly jump to action and get him taken care of, but they seemed to genuinely care which meant a lot. I cannot thank Vetcheck enough! Last night I called pretty late after checking with several local vets declining to see my pup. The Dr stayed late just so my pup could get the emergency care she needed. They made the whole process easy and painless. My pup is doing great already and is on the mend!

I brought my dog here at 9:30pm because she was lethargic and vomiting. They were able to take her in right away, the vet was quick and efficient with his diagnosis and sent her home with medication and specialty food as she was diagnosed with pancreatitis and a urinary tract infection. It was an expensive visit, but on par with other emergency vet visits we have had in years prior. Thankfully, we have pet insurance to cover the cost. I am very grateful for their ability to treat her quickly and send us home with a plan to help her recover. I would definitely take my dog back here in the future if we needed veterinary care after regular business hours. I would also recommend this clinic to family and friends as well.

A really great experience. The nurse was so kind and I feel like my pup got great care. I was really upset because my dog was acting abnormal and he ended up having an infection and high fever. They informed me regularly while I waited in my car. Expensive, but I think this is true across the board these days and it costs money to run a real operation. Grateful for my experience.

VetCheck took great care of my boy Ernie! I got an appointment about 30 minutes after I called on a Wednesday night, and by the time we went to bed they had us on a treatment plan for him that I was confident in. The communication was excellent even with their curbside-only policy right now. Between the doctor and assistant who were working with me, I probably spoke with someone 5-6 times in just the hour that we were there. They were extremely thorough in figuring out what was causing Ernie to vomit as much as he was. Regarding cost, I can't speak to how they compare to others, but from everything I looked up it seems that they are in a normal range for emergency vet care services.

They were able to get me in in two hours, which is super crazy for where I’m from. I had to drive an hour and a half to get to them and it was worth it because they saved my cat. Only issue which I dont know if it counts as an issue because all e-vets do this- is that I looked up the exact treatment on Chewy (same amount of pills and mg of tablets) and this place decided to add exactly $100 to the price of the pills. Legit I paid $127 for pills that are $30 on Chewy. Like I said I’m pretty sure that’s normal, but it’s why I didn’t give 5 stars. I’m poor so I’d rather them just tell me what treatment I need so I can get it myself :/

I was scared when my cat got into a fight with an unknown animal in the neighborhood but VetCheck made it a lot easier for me, talked it out with me and were very patient. The best course of treatment was recommended and modified to work in my budget (emergencies always happen between paydays 😩) and set me up enough to get to my vet with the more extensive treatments. If I have emergencies in the future they will be my first choice 💜😺

The girls in the office are wonderful and 5 stars! They took great care of my weenie dog after he had a nail ripped out of his foot, the only reason for the 4 stars is for the price. The only treatment was a wrapped foot, gave him a cone, an antibiotic and pain med and it cost $440. But thankful for the late hours.

Dr. Bala gave us a diagnosis and the technician, Katie, reviewed the treatment plan options with us and patiently answered all of our questions. The staff at VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center in Fishers, IN was excellent. They provided curbside check in that was efficient and safe during a pandemic. The doctor came out an explained thoroughly what steps he wanted to take to diagnosis our dog, and the vet tech followed up with the cost estimate. They explained how long the wait was for the test results and told us that we did not have to wait in the parking lot. They would text or call when the results were in. Everything they said they would do, they did. Our dog was sent home after treatment and after a few days, she was back to normal. We are very grateful for the VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center. They were there when we needed them on a Sunday afternoon.

They did a great job with the care of our puppy. We arrived late, were there until closing. The only part we didn't love was they are doing curbside so we couldn't stay with him during his care.

As an urgent care center there are several things that give the pet owner confidence in the service that may be provided. The staff seemed , friendly knowledgeable and accommodating as possible. The Vet was confident and you felt good about their prognosis. The only negative experience is that the clinic is CURB side only. I am not sure why. I have gone to two other veterinarian offices and after TWO years of Covid 19,I am not sure why this facility is still curb side only? Why do I bring this up. Since this was an emergency, your dog, in my case, doesn't feel well and a little anxious as well as the owner (me). With all the tests, I was stuck in the car for 2 hours not being able to hold my little guy while he was alone in an examination room. Since the staff is unable to control this edict, I did not take my rating down to 1 or 2. However, if I find myself needing urgent pet care, I will find out if they are curb side only first.

Thanks to this emergency vet for seeing my injured cat so quickly! Dr Dodda was honest and explained what was going on, his thoughts on options for treatment, and answered all my questions. KC was amazingly compassionate and attentive to what I needed (as a scared cat mom) and answered all my (additional) questions too! I appreciate her making me feel that my cat was important to her too. She called and found costs for treating a complex fractured leg and set up getting us to Purdue Vet Hospital for needed care. It wasn’t cheap, but I do also appreciate that they were upfront about how much everything would cost before they did anything. My reason for only 4 stars was that the X-rays and labs that they said would be sent to Purdue did not get done. (They had wrong email address for Purdue vet hospital?) and by the time we figured this out, they were closed. It did make it tough for Purdue to assess my cat with only my memory of what was done, and not the actual medical records. They had to duplicate some basic labs and the orthopedic surgeon was unable to see X-rays I already paid for- And that not only cost me more money but made it a bit more stressful for me.

They were upfront about costs and the vet recommended a conservative stepwise approach to treatment that was very appreciated (and didn't leave a giant hole in our wallets). Recently brought in our dog for a broken toe that occurred while playing with his sibling. VetCheck was quick to act and took our sweet boy right inside. Although curbside isn't ideal for any parent when their baby is at the doctor, I know it's necessary to keep establishments open and operational to serve others. Hank was totally comfortable with his nurses at our initial appt and our follow ups. Not a single complaint from either of us! I will say for those of you who've had animals your whole life, we know going to the ER vet is never a cheap scenario. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing and the fact they accept care credit, most vets these days don't offer any type of payment plans or finance options. Hank and I are so thankful Vetcheck was available when we needed them. Kuddos to your staff!

The last place we wanted to be the day before Christmas Eve was here but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. They were so quick to get my pup in, examined, treated (which included sedation) and ready to come back home within 2 hrs. Madison (I believe her name was, I don’t remember much bc I was so overwhelmed) but she was the tech and could tell I was upset, overwhelmed, stressed and worried and she reassured me multiple times and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup with her. We did a follow up today with my regular vet and she even commented how great it looked. I’m thankful for such good work by the vet and everyone who showed compassion and patience with me and my Pup!

Our dog had a gash under his eye that needed stitches. The VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center took good care of him. My two complaints were, first, that they are quite expensive, and, second, that they gave our dog a sedative in pill form that made him seem as if he wasn't breathing! We had a great deal of trouble getting him to respond, but finally did. Our home vet told us to stop that medication, which we did, and he is doing much better.

When we took our dog in, we weren’t sure what was going on with him—just that he was extremely sick. The staff treated him like he was their own and kept us updated throughout the whole visit and through his treatment. We were able to take our fur baby home that day and received a call from the vet the next day to go over the results and checking in. When we started to see some concerning symptoms at home, I called to speak with the staff. They were amazing—simultaneously helping me to calm myself (I was very anxious) while also advising on what to do. Moe is now doing much better thanks to the care these wonderful people provided him. I was looking for this type of review before I visited VetCheck so that I understood the process. After the initial exam, the Vet will come talk to you about a treatment plan. There will be several services listed (probably more than is absolutely necessary), but you as the pet owner can decide which services you want your pet to receive. My initial list of services was $900 and after I decided what I absolutely wanted done for my dog, it was just over $300. She came out looking and feeling so much better! The wait on a week day evening was about 2 hours. Hopefully this is helpful to someone else!

I did not have an appointment so I waited in my car for 3 1/2 hours. I provided urine and fecal and asked for a test for UTI and gardia. Apparently, I was charged for them having to get both of these. They removed the charge for securing the urine sample but said since it had been so long (it wasn't too long if they did the test when provided the urine}. The vet recommended blood work which was approximately $300. I said that it made sense to wait and see what the results of the other tests were. Later, the vet said that is what he would have done. Then why wasn't that recommended to begin with. The staff was kind in provided 2 cans of food for urine where the can was dented and did not charge. I foster for a rescue so we have to be careful regarding expenses.

I was pleased for the most part. My only frustration was that when bringing in an animal for an emergency we are already quite on edge and unfortunately it was very difficult for me to understand most of what the doctor was saying due to his heavy accent. It would have been nice if a tech would have accompanied him as I was not comfortable continuously asking him to repeat himself as that felt rude. I relied heavily on my conversation with the tech before and after his consult and based my decisions solely on that as I had no choice.

I have to thank every person at VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center in Fishers for their kindness on such a difficult day for my family. On December 4, 2021, we brought our three-legged Osteosarcoma survivor, Bear, to them, as our sweet 10 year old Labrador had finally developed cancer again after nearly 5 years cancer free. The staff was so gentle with us when we called to make his euthanasia appointment. They explained the entire process to us more than once during the procedure. They gave us precious time with our beloved Beary to say goodbye, to let our 3 year old give him kisses, and never once did I feel rushed in the process. They had all sorts of cremation options and let us browse those at our own pace. Not to mention, they were incredibly gentle with our boy, who has never liked vet clinics, but was for the first time in his life completely calm at a clinic. The doctor was empathetic and apologetic for our loss, and I could tell we all genuinely mattered to him. He even apologized to our sweet boy and thanked him for spending his life with us. They gave us two vials of his hair so that we wouldn't have to leave without something of him. It was easily the hardest day my husband and I had ever experienced together, but the staff maintained a level of compassion and care that made my worst day a little bit more bearable, and that matters. If all of their patience, kindness, and gentleness wasn't enough, we received a sympathy card in the mail about a week later that was signed individually by each staff member. It brought me to tears. I will never forget my experience with this WONDERFUL group of people. Bear was our best boy, and always will be, and the end of his beautiful life was done so well because of these people who are clearly passionate about the animals they serve and the pet parents they help. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I will never forget how gentle you were with my first baby.

I had a seriously ill kitty who was seen by my regular vet, but no definitive diagnosis could be made and he was not being treated for dehydration, lack of eating or extreme weight loss. So 2 days later on a Sat. I was able to have VetCheck see him, and while we are still searching for a diagnosis, he was rehydrated, given meds for appetite and infection. He is feeling so much better now, eating and drinking well, and who knows if maybe the antibiotics won't cure what ails him. We are still searching for a definitive cause of his illness, but at least he won't starve to death while we investigate. The veterinarian who saw him and the staff were very kind and thorough, even so much to call both Sat. night and Sunday morning to discuss his health and further treatments. I am telling everyone who needs quality emergency care that this is the place!

While that meant we couldn't be with him, everything was pretty fast. Their care was appropriate, their follow through was kind and my dog is ok. Is the price high? Something ever pet owner dreads— I realized my fur baby was showing signs of a UTI right after I finished dinner. I called another local emergency vet and they were at capacity. I called VetCheck next. I loved that they gave me an appointment time right away. Their curbside business was outstanding. I could tell that the staff and doctor really cared for my dog. They provided a phone-call of what was going on with the vet. They then gathered the prescribed meds. After I paid, I was given the said meds and my dog was returned to me. All of this took about an hour. Now my Gracie is doing great and is happy and healthy again. I am so glad that I went to VetCheck when I did! I would recommend this service to anyone that has a sick pup!

This is an independent, honest, detailed review of the services provided by VetCheck in Fisher's. Friendliness - Overall the front staff and vet techs were extremely friendly, professional and understood my concerns. I felt the vet was a little less personable. Don't get me wrong, she was not rude or uncaring, just less personable like she was reading from a PowerPoint presentation. They also wanted my drivers license and credit card at check-in and held onto it for the 2+ hours I was there. It was a little awkward like they think I may abandon my pet without paying. Accessability - As others mention in their reviews, you must remain in your vehicle while they take your pet into the clinic without you. Luckily it was my black lab that needed treated, because he would happily follow anyone anywhere. Had it been my Akita, they would have never got him through the door without me. So, I completely understand and agree with the concerns others have presented about the rigidness of this policy. I also understand the staff is trying to protect themselves from COVID, but you can't run an emergency medical service and be so rigid. You must assume some risks. Promptness - I will say their ability to see my pet in such a short notice was excellent. I called my normal vet and several other local vets and the quickest anyone could get me in was 10 days, and this was understanding it was urgent. VetCheck was able to get me in same day, which was amazing. Quality - I felt the staff provided quality care. The treatments were effective and I could notice quick improvements to my pets health. I was a little frustrated when they recommended one type of treatment then alerted me later that they did not have the medicine in stock to complete that treatment and had to change to a different treatment. Best practice would be to verify you have everything needed to perform a treatment before offering it to customers. Their alternate treatment was effective and less expensive, but that also reenforces concerns they first jump to more expensive treatments instead of offering similar less expensive options to begin with. Costs - This category is what knocked this down to a 4 star review. Firstly, I completely understand this is an emergency care center, and as such they have expanded hours and potentially a different mix of staff skills then a normal vet. This will always add to to cost, no different than you going to an Emergency Medical clinic versus your primary care provider. That said, I felt the costs were about 1.5 to 2 times the price for treatment versus my normal vet office. This is not bad if you are just talking one treatment and an office visit fee. But when you start adding multiple treatments, medications, and "other fees" and they are all twice as much, you are quickly faced with exorbitant fees. They even tack on fees that no other vet has charged me and are normally part of the office visit expense. Example, a $9.50 bio hazard disposal fee. They not only charge to sedate, but a separate fee to wake them back up. I have never had a separate charge for that. I did also feel they were trying to up-sell some lab test. I understand they want to make sure they account for all situations and offer the best treatment, but if they know there is an bacteria infection, there is rarely a need to test which bacteria it is. The treatment is often the same regardless. Most clinics will start with a normal regiment and then order more testing if they don't respond to treatment in an effort to keep the costs down. Overall - This office did provide quality, time sensitive, effective care for my pet. However, reviewing the treatment costs with similar past treatments from my primary vet showed VetCheck cost me about twice as much; hundreds more. I would recommend VetCheck if you have a true pet emergency. However, if it is something that can wait for your primary vet, you will definitely save a lot of money.

Seen quickly. Very thorough check and feedback from Vet and his assistant. My dog was relatively relaxed despite being ill. He behaved well and was clearly comfortable inside, without us. The Vet answered all my questions patiently, by the car. All costs explained and very reasonable. I would go there all the time if I was nearer, even though I like our own vet. I just felt here that every possible danger to our dog had been checked and explained. It was very reassuring. If there was another out of hours problem I would not hesitate to go back.

I just wanted to pass along a sincere thank you and appreciation to the staff today at VetCheck in Fishers, IN. Being new here from out of state, I went with the data that supports this establishment being top notch and my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The phone receptionist was very courteous and friendly, offering a time to be seen that was within two hours. There was a foundation overview of questions in regards to my dog so the staff could be prepared for a depth review of her troubles and evaluate/treat the underlying cause. There was essentially no wait upon my arrival. After filling out paper work with my dogs history, she was greeted not long after arrival by a friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate technician named Torie, who was extremely detailed, cross checked the symptoms she was experiencing and gave an overview of the course of action to get the right diagnosis for my dog to be on the road to recovery. Dr. Klemens, who was the on site veterinarian explained his clinical observations and evaluations and course of action. This put me at ease after admittedly being anxious seeing my pet feeling ill. Although a dog to many, this is my child-family, the reason I smile every day and the reason I want her to receive the best care possible so we can make the most of her days with good health. What really impressed me was the persistent updates throughout the process and testing. Torie, updated me on my dogs behavior patterns, observations and as mentioned above detailed with explanation, thought and care. The variables in play could have been anything from a UTI, which was the founding marker after tests, to who knows going in. The thorough evaluations alleviated the biggest of worries. The technician couldn’t have been more friendly, understanding and gracious with her time, and the same can be said about the on site veterinarian. Not long after the tests, the technician graciously answered more questions after following up test results, advised what to do in reference for a follow-up and provided medication that we are hopeful will eliminate the infection. It’s comforting to know that not only places like this exists where there’s an understanding, care and love for animals, but people as well. Everyone I encountered was passionate about their craft, and I’m glad I know where to go in the future if another emergency takes place and an avenue for resources for my pet. Thanks again from me and my dog for all of the love and care during our visit!

I had an emergency with my dog. I tried to call a few veterinarians that are located close to my home. They were mostly rude and not very helpful. They also had no weekend hours. I kept trying searches on the Internet. When I was at my wits end, I found VetCheck. They have outstanding weekend hours. The whole staff was so nice and friendly. The doctor performed a surgery on my dog on a Sunday morning. By Monday, the surgery site on my dog looks so good. The doctor did an excellent job with my dog. I am going to VetCheck for my regular pet visits (rabies shots and such). Being able to go to a vet on the weekend is a super blessing to me. The nice doctor and staff are another super blessing. I am very happy with the service and nice people who work at VetCheck. I just moved here from Missouri. I was beginning to think that Indiana didn't have any good vets. I'm sure there are others, but it's so nice to have a vet that you can easily reach on the weekends. I drove 21 miles to see this doctor. It was well worth it. Thank you, VetCheck!

Another injury: this time a cut between the toes that was bleeding pretty badly. What is up with Heelers? They did a great job and even looked at another wound I’ve been fighting to get healed. Stitched up and home in a couple of hours. Brought our puppy in to be checked for injury after jumping off the deck onto rocks. Have to admit it was quite comprehensive. Fortunately, it was just a sore paw and no break.

Our beloved pet rapidly declined on a Saturday afternoon and our normal vet office had already closed. I was panicked for a place to take her to be seen. I found VetCehck Pet Urgent care. What a blessing! Although they prefer appointments, they were able to let us "walk in" (the office is only doing curb side at this time.")The entire staff was amazing. Each member we came in contact with was so caring, accommodating, and incredibly compassionate.

Three stars because they did help me and my cat. But please continue reading. My cat hurt his paw. It was obvious his nail got stuck in something and his foot was all swollen because of it. We take him to this Urgent care center. Because of "covid" they come out to your car to talk to you and you can't ever go inside with your pet. So we give them our cat, Fin, and the vet comes out a few minutes later. He says "his foot is swollen and painful and there is a bite wound".... Uh, no there isn't. Nothing bit him. He got hurt from falling off something and getting his foot stuck. Like, did you even look at it? There is no bite wound! They then tried to convince us he needed an x-ray and labs done. He was walking on his foot without problems so it wasn't broken, and he wasn't acting in pain at all!. It just looked swollen like it had become infected from his litterbox after the nail had been ripped out. They wanted to charge $600 for this stuff not including medication. So we convinced them to just give us pain meds and antibiotics instead. Still cost over $400. The nurse/vet tech was very nice and I do believe she cares. Edited after your reply: I deleted my rude comments about your doctor. But I am not lying that your Vet SAID "he has a bite wound". If he had not said that I wouldn't have thought we were being swindled. I understand it wasnt in the notes but that is what he said. Thank you for your kind reply.

Vet check is such a wonderful care center. We had such a heart breaking 4th of July weekend, our beloved Dakota passed on the 4th. They were greatly compassionate, sensitive, and thoughtful of our difficult time. They didn't care that it was the holiday, they were open. They didn't rush us to leave, they let us grieve at our own pace. They were dealing with crazy, angry people but they didn't care about any of that when they walked in the room Dakota was the only thing going on. It was a simple thing, but it's been a huge moment of comfort to have. We will always be thankful for the care the entire staff showed to Dakota, they talked us through everything that was happening. Today we received a card, thoughtfully signed by the whole staff, who not only signed but took a moment to write a kind, heartfelt note. You guys went above and beyond, you are so much appreciated! Sunday morning it was obvious my dog was not feeling well at all. I was able to secure an appointment. My dog is showing improvement after 24 hours of meds. He will see his Vet tomorrow to confirm the diagnosis. It was 3 hours before this event was over. The Vet did talk with me personally. I had to ask for an itemized receipt. The prices were very high, but it was an emergency vet.

While they took great care of my dog, I found the prices to be above average. The owner sets extremely high costs, for medicines he is able to access at cost, if not cheaper. We were charged $45 for a $10 tube of nutrical along with several other high costs. Disappointed to see a company take advantage of loving pet owners. No problem paying, but should review the market rates for some itemization. Hence my 3 stars instead of 5.

We noticed our Golden (Jasper) was just not himself. It was the weekend, of course, so we tried VetCheck Urgent Care. This place is very clean and the staff was so friendly. Jasper ended up having an infected tooth which required an extraction. The Doctor called when it was over to inform me of everything! I also liked that this place will go over any charges with you before they do anything. I always knew what was going on with my pup and that put me at ease. One last thing, they have a door open so you can see in the back. It, too, was clean. I think i have found a new vet. Prices were very reasonable and i would recommend this place to anyone.

Lola was worked into the schedule within a couple hours after calling several other vets to no avail. VetCheck’s protocol was COVID conscientious. I had a wonderful experience at the VetCheck Pet Urgent Care. One of our cats got into some flowers, which thankfully we Googled and discovered they were poisonous for cats. I called the urgent care frantically, and they were very kind over the phone and told me I could bring her in immediately. They were very safe with their covid precautions and I stayed in the car the full time. They kept me updated throughout the process and even checked out our other cat as a precaution. They were able to give her fluids and she's totally fine now - thank goodness! The cost was pretty significant, but given urgency and immediate turnaround, it was totally worth it. I took my 7 week old kitten,Trixi, in after she had a minor dislocation in her “ankle”. I drove an hour there and they got me in right away. The bill is expensive but that is expected with emergency vet visits and they have many options to help with the cost. Dr. Serena and nurse Summer are amazing and have answered all off my questions, even multiple days after seeing Trixi. I have called multiple times since leaving and the staff have been patient and happy to help. They are very knowledgeable, understanding, and keep you informed every step of the process.

I brought my dog in right when Vet Check opened at 9:00am today, a Saturday. She was having severe vomiting and diarrhea and not acting like herself. Dr. Serena and Madison immediately started working on her and they updated me as they did so. They gave me an estimate with the cost of everything and got my approval before they did anything, which was nice. I’m a veterinary technician at a different vet clinic but brought my dog here because my clinic doesn’t see these types of cases or do surgeries on weekends (and it was possible that my dog needed surgery). They gave me a discount on all services because I work in the veterinary field, which was great. The prices here are a bit high, but lower than other emergency hospitals. My dog was hospitalized for the entire day and they let me know what she did on her potty breaks and let me visit her in the middle of the day (they are only doing curbside right now but let me come in to see her). The care and effort they put in to my baby is very much appreciated!

We had a terrific experience working with VetCheck Noblesville/Fishers on a relative emergency regarding a beloved Australian Shepherd puppy who had come down with “kennel cough”. Leroy is my daughter’s dog and cared for in Bloomington by another Vetenary clinic. She was working in downtown Indy this summer and brought her dogs to Indy to be watched by her parents. When Leroy started frequently coughing up mucus (especially at night, disturbing all 😴) we started calling to find where he could be evaluated quick to put a recovery plan in place. The staff was very sweet and well informed. My puppy came out just as calm as when he went in. I had to take my dog in early in the morning.. unfortunately, he passed away before I could get him there and had no heartbeat by the time we got him inside. Despite the fact that there was nothing they could do for him (meaning they would make no money from my visit), the staff was very compassionate and accommodating… giving me a room and a private space to say good bye. I was heartbroken and devastated, and they treated me with respect and kindness. There were no charges other then the $15 for his paw print, which I paid willingly. They kept him for me for the night while I could figure out what my next steps were. I did have to pay a $70 deposit for cremation in case that's what I decided to do.. but they didn't pressure me in any way, and the full deposit was returned to me when I picked him up. They even wrapped him up in a sheet to make it easier for me to see him to transport him. I couldn't have asked for a better experience saying good bye to my best friend. 😔💔

I took my Bengal, Lily, in to see Dr. Siva for an injury to her front paw. Dr. Siva and his staff were great with her. (She's not the best of patients!) We got into a room right away. (They have a special exam room for cats with pheromones to help calm kitty down, which is really nice.) Dr. Siva took a look at Lily's paw and clearly explained what was going on and the course of treatment. He then called me the next day to check on her, which I really appreciated. As a single, working mom, VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center's hours are great (4 pm - 11 pm, weekdays and 9 am - 8 pm weekends). Highly recommend. They're fast, kind and compassionate (and conveniently located next to Uncle Bill's Pet Shop, which is nice too).

My experience was mixed. My 70 pound puppy ate some water color paint. She had eaten a frozen bone previously and her no issues for over an hour. Suddenly she became very dizzy and lethargic. Not symptoms of a bone caught in her system. That’s when I found the torn paint tube. We got her there quickly and she was taken in right away. They did what was necessary, but charged me $49 for an antibiotic I could’ve purchased for $12.40 elsewhere. Having recently been out of work for 7 weeks, money is a concern. Dr. Siva provides good care but he is quick to overcharge for drugs and what I believe to be unnecessary services. I even told him the bone was not an issue. I was charged $2.45 per pill for the antibiotic when it’s readily available elsewhere at $.62 per pill. I’ll not be going back.

We noticed our cat Motor had some blood in her urine, so we took her to vet check since it was later in the day and no other general practice was open. The hours are very convenient, specially for emergency situations like this one. Motor got a urinalysis to determine what was going on, and after determining that she had a UTI, she was treated with antibiotics. The team and Dr. Siva are all very friendly, they care about you and your animals! The clinic was very clean, staff is friendly and the hours are very convenient! Would definitely recommend.

My boy was not himself and I could not get him to his regular vet until the next day. I tried Vet Check because it is very close to home and has great hours. The service was wonderful. The doctor was very knowledgeable and we were able to start my dog on treatment right away instead of waiting. They were able to do a pretty thorough work up with blood work and xrays. It was quite pricey and that's the reason for the 4 stars. It was worth it though to get piece of mind and my boy on the road to recovery! Glad it's here!! I would go back!!

Monday 8/24 I was unable to get my dog Maggie into our regular vet. She was diagnosed with nasal cancer and quickly went downhill. I called VetCheck and they were able to get her in quickly. Based on my answers they thought it would be good he was seen. He ended up with sutures on the inside of ear & I am glad I went because it would not have healed correctly & left a horrible scar since the skin was loose.

My normal vet office had just closed when my dog had another outbreak of hives that were causing her misery. VetCheck had extended hours and was able to treat my pet without having to take her to the expensive animal hospital to the south. Staff was courteous, fixed the problem, followed up the next day, and sent the records to my primary vet's office (I know because they also called the next day to follow up.) I cannot thank the clinic enough for how much love, attention, and care they have given my Rocky. My Rocky randomly stopped eating and was physically withering away in front of our eyes. I was scared and the look in Rocky’s eyes told me to take him to the vet right away. I called my regular vet clinic to see what I needed to do for them and they told me to GO SOMEWHERE THAT WILL TAKE HIM because they just “don’t have time and won’t have an appointment available until it’s possibly too late.” As soon as they said that, I was in the hunt for a clinic that was working late that would help him right away. After a recommendation from a wonderful friend, we got in touch with VetCheck Pet Urgent Care. They told me to bring him in right away and saw him same day. We got there around 6pm and stayed until 11pm for them to get him on fluids and do some tests. We found his kidneys were failing him and we weren’t sure why. He is only 5 years old. He has never been sick before. He has so much life left in him. He needed these tests. I’m a single mother and doing it all on my own. Money is very hard to come by right now. They understood my situation and found a way for me to get a payment plan set up that will work with my budget and also make sure that Rocky gets the treatments and care that he needs...(Something my regular vet clinic wouldn’t do)... This staff is not a “money hungry” business. They have genuine feelings with the patients and their families that come in through the door. They all fell in love with my Rocky and treated him as their own. Since the first day we were here, the entire staff, from receptionists, vet techs and the veterinarians, have all treated my Rocky boy, my family, and myself with so much respect and sympathy during these difficult times. They never gave up on Rocky and rooted for him and gave him cuddles and kisses when he needed it and gave me a better run down on his hospitalized stays better than the highest rated child care facility. We’ve shared tears together for Rocky and I seriously can’t show how much appreciation I have for the staff and the practice owner. They are all such wonderful people to my boy. I walked in with a sick boy, little hope, and fear. With each visit, came more hope and now new family. ❤️ I want to shout out to all the staff members that have worked so hard to help bring Rocky back to his normal self: Dr. Siva and Dr. Serena Vet techs and receptionists—Taylor, Summer, Kristina, Ireland, Maddy, Jeanne, Chrystyn and Ariel. This place was down right awesome. I called and immediately got an appointment for my new puppy who had not been vaccinated yet. They made sure I knew what I wanted and showed me a break down of everything and how much it was and from there I got to pick and choose how I wanted to do it. The prices were astoundingly lower than most urgent care places and I can make them my full time vet. Their hours are what really works for me, considering I work in a doctor's office and I never know what time I'll be off .Thank you guys so much for treating my sweet girl as if she was your own dog. I want to say up front that this vet is very expensive. I know that people are usually willing to pay a higher cost in the event of an emergency, but I just want potential clients to be aware of the high cost in advance. Other than cost, which we anticipated, I cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness of the staff and vet at this clinic. We called when our 18 year old cat was in a sudden-onset health crisis, and it was clear she was dying. She had collapsed, was having seizures, and her body temperature was cold to the touch. The office staff spoke very compassionately with us in discussing euthanasia and cremation options. I appreciate that the vet and vet tech did a careful exam of Wilma before agreeing to euthanize her. Obviously, they are professionals and they should not just take our word for the fact that she was dying. We aren't vets. I know they would have told us if other, clear paths forward were available. They also sought to get all the needed details (e.g., weight) to properly administer the euthanasia procedure. When euthanizing, they gave a sedative first before the drug to stop her hearth. This ensured her maximum comfort. Though we sought to complete the euthanasia process quickly (our cat was in pain and suffering greatly), they were very willing to give us all the time we needed, both before and after the procedure. The office was very clean, and the room where the procedure was performed was large and comfortable for us and for our cat. The exam table had a warm blanket on it, and they placed cushions under our cat to increase her comfort before the procedure began. There were four chairs in the room for family (though there were only two of us) and an led candle to help provide a calm, meditative atmosphere. I highly recommend this office for pets in medical crisis. You can feel confident that they will treat you with respect and compassion and your pet with great dignity. They will absolutely seek the best possible outcome for your pet.

My beautiful furry child got sick and was acting very strange. Then he started throwing up and couldn't keep anything down. We then discovered somehow, overnight, he'd gone blind. I, of course, thought the worst, but the staff was kind and reassured me. The staff was amazing - especially Christina. However, they tend to downplay the situation in order to calm you down and my baby wound up dying. It has been very sad and it was an expense I didn't expect. They did offer great alternatives for payment but ARE priced kind of high.

It was the weekend and our vet wasn't in her office. Having lost our two beloved American Bulldogs to cancer in the past 18 months, (one was less than three months ago), we couldn't deal emotionally with going to the urgent care hospital where they both passed away, but our cat had a UTI with a history of urine crystals so he needed to be seen on this particular Saturday. VetCheck Pet Urgent Care Center was very accommodating. From the minute we walked in the door they were friendly, compassionate and knowledgable. Everyone was so kind, understanding and reassuring. And very efficient. They made us feel comfortable. Within an hour we had our diagnosis and treatment and were out the door going home! They worked with our budget and showed they really care. Great facility, CONVENIENT hours and overall great experience. We had reason to believe our 7 mo old puppy had gotten into something he shouldn’t have. We first took him to the local VCA in Fishers where we were told he needed immediate emergency surgery for a blockage with a hefty price tag. Uncomfortable with the fact that they were reluctant to share the X-Rays with us prior to surgery, we took him to VetCheck for a second opinion. The staff took great care of him while monitoring him on fluids and confirmed there was actually no blockage and no need for surgery. They kept our puppy under close watch for the day and he was back home with us that evening. By the next morning, he was back to his happy puppy self!!! We can’t thank the staff enough and highly recommend you bring your vet to their clinic first for an honest and reasonable evaluation of your pet.

The staff was all really nice. But for some reason it felt like I was buying a used car instead of fighting for my dogs life. First it was $1100 (pre printed on a laminated sheet) and they could treat and diagnose her. Then it was minimum $380 for her to be euthanized and cremated. (Again on a laminated paper for a pet crematorium...so sales-y) When I didn’t have that I was told I could take her home and let nature take its course. (After I was told she was suffering) Then they called the “owner” and he said he couldn’t make payment arrangements for me (even though it says they take payments on their website...they mean care credit or scratch pay) Then I was told I could take her to the humane society and they would euthanize her. (What? Absolutely not) Then they asked me how much money I had. They agreed that would be enough I just wouldn’t get her remains back, which is fine. It was an emotional roller coaster that felt very well scripted to make them seem like victims? They played well on my fear that it was Sunday and had few choices and with 8-9 inches of snow coming what was I going to do if she passed overnight. After getting home I found out that many of my friends had been in this terrible spot but were charged only a fraction of what I paid. Oh how I wished I had waited until Monday when our regular vet was open. I don’t think we’d be out the money we are. With Covid I wasn’t allowed to be present at her exam which really would have helped. They literally could have told me anything and I had no choice but to believe it. Was it the right call to euthanize? Probably. Was their tacky “sales pitches” and “let us call the owner” game necessary, absolutely not. I understand this is a business and they need to make money but taking advantage of someone’s grief is a little gross. I thought it was odd they posted something about being respectful to their staff in the paperwork and on Facebook. I would never be mean. I think the right thing for my beloved dog was done I just could have done without all the disgusting banter and they should have sent me on my way when I didn’t want to purchase one of their pet funeral packages. Don’t repeatedly pretend you are trying to help me, just to let me down. The front office is definitely trained in upselling and sales in general. My advice to anyone, if you can wait until you can see your regular vet, do it. It will save you the sleepless night I just had and then blowing up your email begging for reviews and such. I said I would write a review, but 5 emails later, here I am. I just don’t know how we went from $1100 and she’ll be better to, yea her quality of life is poor. Had I not just totaled a car I would have had the $1100 to shell out. I think we would have ended up in the same spot but...we will never know.

Beyond impressed! I brought my cat, Sol, to VetCheck a few weeks ago and little did I know my 11 year old Bengal boy was about to be knocking at the door of his death bed. For multiple years he has had problems with vomiting, poor eating habits, deteriorating coat, and finally started having seizures. Today he is still recovering, but he is a whole new cat. He finally starting eating like a normal cat and his coat is coming back stronger than ever with that certain glisten. We took a severely wounded stray dog in for care, we’re thankful that there are some doctors that genuinely care about animals and their wellbeing rather just as a “something they do for work”. Though the dog couldn’t make it, the level of concern and care that Dr.Shiva showed for a stray animal was beyond amazing. We brought my dog in on a Sunday evening and she needed x-rays on her stomach. They decided that she needed another round of x-rays the next day to see how things were progressing and, even though they aren't supposed to open until the afternoon on Mondays, they offered to come in early in the morning to make sure she was ok. The tech even drove up from the west side of Indy before hours. They were very helpful, upfront, and caring. Highly recommend.

My puppy had hurt her leg and I called to have a second look at it since it didn’t improve and my regular vet wasn’t open. The staff was very attentive and took great care of my puppy. The vet prescribed some pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs to help her until I could get her to a specialist. She is all better now.

My family went through a very tragic experience, from taking our cat in for something sudden one day, to having to put him to sleep 3 days later, and the staff did everything they could. I have been to this vet check several times for the care of one of my dear animals and each time they’ve been more informative and helpful than any other vet I’ve been to - I’ve had animals my whole life and have been in and out of vet offices. Not only were they able to offer full care, they gave me discounts and were able to offer me a payment plan under the specific circumstances. I will not be taking any of my animals to any other vet. That’s how good I feel about this vet check. ❤️

I’m so thankful we came across VetCheck when we did! Our one-year Old Golden Retriever started getting violently ill on Thursday evening. Our regular vet’s office was closed so we were trying to find offices that were open 24/7 or at least in the late hours. We were looking into VCA Animal Hospital but the prices they quoted us were ridiculous/outrageous. We called VetCheck at 8:00 pm and Kyle, the vet tech, helped us answer many of our questions in regards to if we should bring our pup in and what would probably need to be done. We were there by 8:15 and in a room by 8:20. Kyle was warm and greeted us and our pup. After the evening we had it was a relief walking in there and not having to wait an extraordinarily long time. The vet, Dr. Siva was so gentle with Brody and helped us to understand what could be going on with him. He never pushed any choices on us and gave very fair recommendations. The vet tech explained the pricing for X-rays and blood work, which were $100 cheaper (for each test) than VCA’s. There weren’t any surprise charges on the bill. They don’t sugar coat the bill or are wishy washy about the price, but it was very fair for what they did. Ultimately, our pup walked out of there with a treatment plan and he is starting so feel much better now! The vet followed up with us after to check on him and asked if we had any other questions. Couldn’t recommend this clinic enough - thank you VetCheck and staff! (Also, very clean and neat facility!)

On Saturday I had my little Westie who was listless, breathing shallow, and wasn’t eating. With my usual vet being closed, I went to this location. The staff was friendly and caring. The issue I have is with the pricing. I understand that it’s typical to take advantage of people when they are vulnerable. I was told that he had double ear infections, still they swabbed, tested and charged for testing of ears. I was advised of prices, they told me I should have him x-rayed in case of lower abdominal cancer nodes. They said he had a bad bacterial infection (or that’s what they thought). I told them we would go in steps, just get him well with the infection... They gave him “broad spectrum antibiotics” for both infections-ears and abdominal... then why run check on ears ? The antibiotic was like 67.00. Way more than for people I was charged double what I would’ve normally been charged for visit I asked the one attendant since it was going to be so much if I could apply for the Care Credit, she told me “no, that it was only for the Members” I found out that wasn’t true I appreciate the assistance for my little one, but I just think that this is like price gouging when people are desperate and in need of assistance

She was lethargic, in pain and I had suspected a stomach problem. They were not busy which was a blessing as we were seen super quick. Took our 16 year old jack russell in the middle of the night sure to what we thought were seizures. By the time i got her there, they had stopped. A common issue in old dogs. Instead of a doctor seeing her and being able to do nothing, but costing money, they let me leave free of charge even after my girl made a need on the floor. They were super nice!

My fur baby went in with an upper respiratory infection...her nurse and the doctor were both very knowledgeable and my experience was great!!! She is improving slowly, but they gave her the right stuff to make her better!!! Thank you guys so much!!!

From the moment I called to admitting my 12 yo boy that evening, everything was explained thoroughly, diagnosed appropriately, and treatment was given immediately to get Caleb out of pain. And, this was after taking Caleb to his regular vet just the day before; they did nothing for his pain. Their hours are so convenient. Their response is exceptional. Caleb had to be hospitalized and he eventually passed; knowing that they did everything they could and kept him comfortable to the very end gives me peace. Dr. Siva, Kyle, Darci, and Ariel are the best! Thank you for being there for us during a very difficult time.

My dog was very sick when I got home and I thought she might have parvo, I called several vets and none would accepted her. She is is a German shephea pup. It was after 5pm and this vet I call 40 minutes away stayed and waited for me with open arms . They treated my dog and was very sympathetic to my feelings towards her . I had to have her stay there for 4 nights. They called me 2 times a day and gave me updates and encourage me to call anytime to check on her and visit . They saved my dog. I want to thank them for accepting my dog when no one else would and being so sympathetic towards my feelings for my dog. The Dr sat with me and explain everything to me everyday and ran through my options. I will now take my dogs there for everything including immunizations.

I will first start by saying everyone in the clinic was very nice to us, very polite and personable. However, we went because our dog had 104.9 fever and was not eating or drinking. the doctor spent maybe 3 minutes in the room with us and told us Coco had a serious lung infection and we needed bloodwork and Xrays to determine which treatment option to go with. We did not have the $600-$800 they wanted for that. We asked if we could just get medicine, $527 later we walked out with 14 cans of food (excessive) and few meds that actually worked. we went home and expected to lose our dog due to not being able to pay thousands of dollars for care. We decided to get a second opinion and went to a neighboring vet across town. The vet there spent 25 minutes with us observing coco and talking with us. He said cocos lungs sounded completely clear and he just had an upper respiratory infection. They gave him a shot to break his fever and a whole sample bottle of meds for him. The total cost at this vet was $95! Not even 24 hrs later and our dog is acting normal again. the only thing the vet at VetCheck got right was the antibiotic. Dr. Seeva has called us and checked on Coco as well as given us a portion of our money back after hearing our concerns. Although not a fit for us the costumer service has been exceptional.

My poor dog tore one of his dew claws playing with his housemate and it seemed to be causing him quite a bit of pain. One of my dog had diarrhea with blood, just blood with no fecal matter. It was scary. I was glad to have a vet that is open late (7pm when we came in), so i brought her in. She was seen immediately and was suggested to be xrayed for stomach obstruction. Lo and behold, the image showed the object in her stomach and infection in intestines.. Gave medicines to see if object will pass down the tract. Next day Xray taken, no progress, and surgery was recommended. She is currently recovering beautifully. The reason I am only giving 3 stars is because they gave me $231.60 worth of meds (~$700.00 bill) that I could have gotten a script for and purchased for 102.82 (GoodRx). I did not know about this until after everything was sold to me and my dog had already taken pills. (Found out from a friend). I am unhappy that they would not refund me the difference (They can’t take meds back legally) when I was never even given the option of looking elsewhere for a cheaper price.
