I received excellent care as a client and my cat also received excellent care and attention from the hospital team. I apologize for taking up a lot of their time when I was in, but you can tell they work hard and care about their clients and patients. The doctor was so patient with me and took my concerns seriously. I found the team to be quite friendly and the fees were very affordable.

Have been here twice in the past month for my cat and dog and have had nothing but pleasant visits! The staff is always very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgable. Unfortunately we had to put down our dog but the doctor and staff at Wahiawa pet hospital comforted us and put us at ease during the process. It was also followed up by a sweet condolence card personalized by the staff. As a pet owner I am always so nervous to go to the vet in fear of cost and hidden fees but Wahiawa pet hospital is upfront and clear about everything. Thank you Wahiawa pet hospital for your kindness and great service.

I was referred to here by a friend because I was looking for a vet for our new puppy. Our beloved Chihuahua of 14 years had passed away a year and a half ago, and his old vet was in Kaneohe. However with Covid, and finances we needed somewhere closer to home. I really researched into carefully choosing a vet that met my personal standards and was overjoyed at the recommendation I had taken after the visit was done. From the time I made the appointment over the phone to the visit, the staff was so friendly and kind. They love their job and animals and it shows. Because of Covid we couldn’t personally meet Dr.Crabtree, but our telephone conversation on our puppy’s exam didn’t leave me feeling like it lacked anything. Felt like I knew her for years. She was so Kind and Warm, and detailed with the information she told me, I instantly felt at ease and supremely confident in the choice I made and glad I went ahead the recommendation my friend had given. I am so pleased with the care my canine received here. He is an absolute lover with his family but has such anxiety around people who are unfamiliar with him. Dr. Crabtree and the rest of the team were so kind, patient and empathetic with my puppers so that he could get through his routine exams and nail trimming. They were also proactive with coming up with a plan for his next visit. Thank you guys so much, I was so stressed for my puppers, thanks for being there for him ❤️

Couldn’t say enough good things about this place. I took my dog Bowie in after he’d been having stomach issues all week—Dr. Crabtree and her staff were so friendly and helpful, they were able to work with us even though we were on a tight budget, to walk through the different tests and treatments available. I felt so bad I couldn’t afford to do more, but they were so sweet to go through and help me find what I could pay for :) I especially appreciated that they let us know which treatments or tests could be prioritized, which goes a long way for a family of limited means. I can’t wait to go back when I’m not so strapped, they were leagues above our previous experiences at VCA Waipahu—all the fur babies in our household are gonna be patients here! Mahalo nui for all the kōkua you gave us, looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

We’ve been clients for years. Pets are diagnosed and treated gently and capably. Humans are warmly welcomed, efficiently explained to about costs before treatment, and questions are patiently answered throughout the process. Follow up questions are addressed promptly and kindly. We could not be happier with the full range of services and quality of care including specialists brought in as needed. Our pets have experienced some unusual conditions over the years. The doctors diagnose accurately, are extremely knowledgeable, and well-acquainted with current research. Special thanks to the techs and front office staff. They remember our family and our pets. Fantastic service, the staff is amazing! My dog is fear aggressive, he behaves so well in this facility and they are so accommodating. I always refer this pet hospital to military families who are newly stationed in this area and to my clients that I dog walk/sit for. The facility is very clean, it looks really nice and doesn't have any bad odors. I'm moving off island and I am honestly upset that I'll have to find a new place to take my dog to because of how well he is treated and cared for here. Thank you for taking care of us for the last 3 years!

The vets here are extremely friendly and it shows how much they love their patients. They take time to answer any questions you have and make sure you understand the treatment before you leave the room. They are very transparent with their prices and will work with you to find a treatment option you can afford.

The vet assistants are very friendly, respectful & understanding. Things are explained in a detailed manner. But their phone etiquette needs some work. Leaving a customer on hold for 10min, which at this time their phone starts ringing. I guess as a REMINDER that there's someone still on hold🤷‍♀️. But still no one answers. Nope. but the distinct sound of someone picking up than putting you back on hold is clearly heard. At this time I'm on hold for a total of 13min. So I hang up & call them back. When asked if I could be put on a brief hold I said, "I've been holding for over 11min." Instead of apologizing I'm asked again about being put on a brief hold. 🤨 WTHeck . . .

The staff and doctor is so friendly! I brought my cat Charlotte here for the first time. My cat was being very stubborn that morning...lol. She did not want to go to the doctors. I think she knew she was going to get a shot. She didn't want to go into her cage and when I got to the pet hospital, she still wouldn't go into her cage. I called and told them my situation and they brought out a bigger cage. My cat decides to go into the back seat and hide herself under the chair. The nurse and vet didn't seem upset that my cat was late. They understood and had a good laugh about my morning. Finally, I was able to talk my cat into getting in the cage...lol. They took my cat in while I waited outside. The doctor called me on the phone and spoke to me about my cat. She was really friendly. All procedures was done that I asked for. I wish I took my cats here years ago. I use to drive them to their other pet hospital in Waipahu. They are all great!!! No problems or issues. It was easy to transfer Charlotte from Waipahu Waikele Pet Hospital to Wahiawa Pet Hospital since they are affiliated. I would say... Take your pet here. You will love the staff and vet.

Had a great experience with this vet. My dog is terrible at the doctors, so we had to take him home and give him some relaxation pills to bring him back the next day, but they were super understanding. We'll definitely be using them for his future checkups and nail trimmings!

There are no words good enough to describe this vet and all of the staff. We had been here 1.5 mo and we lost our sweet Duchess of 10 years. We hadn’t gotten established anywhere. Her loss was sudden. I called trying to hold myself together and they were so understanding and kind. When we brought her in for cremation the staff treated her and us as family. They allowed us to say our good byes. They asked us about her and even gave her love as well. Now that we have a new pup we had no doubt we would bring her here along with our 3yr old boxer. They are the best. No. Question. About. It!!

Wahiawa Pet Hospital is amazing. I trust them entirely for the health needs of my puppy. The doctors take the time to answer all questions and address any concerns. The other staff are always friendly and happy to assist. They are also affiliated with two other clinics, one being a 24/7 pet hospital. I definitely recommend this clinic for your pet's healthcare needs.

My wife and I took our cat here because he was sick. He was a half inside, half outside cat. Turns out one time when he was outside someone gave him antifreeze and caused him to develop kidney failure. It was such a hard time because my wife and I did not expect that to be the outcome when we brought him in. However, the staff here was absolutely fantastic with how they treated our little fur baby. Couldn’t ask for a better staff to trust with anyone’s furry family member. We ended up having to put our little orange buddy down so he wouldn’t suffer anymore. Though can’t say thank you enough Wahiawa Pet Hospital for your kindness. Also, we recently just received a card in the mail signed by the entire staff which was so thoughtful. My wife and I can’t say thank you enough. We really appreciate such a kind gesture. If you need to take your fur baby to a doctor these are the people to trust. I can’t stress enough how great the service is and the genuine kindness they provide.

Everyone at this clinic was so friendly and they were all so nice to our pups! We have a 3 year old nervous pup and they were all so patient with him and by the end of the appointment he loved everyone. They also did dental work on my 10 year old and did a wonderful job taking care of him and all his mouth issues.

I was very impressed with the staff and the office today. This location offers a military discount, which I greatly appreciated! The prices are still quite high, but that’s just how it seems to go in Hawaii. They did everything they could do to help me lower costs. And they did it without being asked, so that made me feel like they had my dogs best interest at heart and not just their business. The staff was genuinely kind to both my dog and I, as well as the other people and pets I witnessed interaction with. They also took their time talking through my questions with me.

Today was my babies first appointment with the vet for her puppy vaccinations and microchip along with other things for Lilo's health. I’ve always thought that the staff was caring and tried to make my dog and I comfortable. My dog gets nervous at the vet and it is stressful because I have to hold her tightly so no one gets bitten. On her most recent visit Dr. Green and the vet tech tried some new strategies to make Lulu have a better experience. She was given whipped cream which she loves and made it easier to put the cone on her. The towel on the table was sprayed with I believe pheromones to help calm her. The shots and blood draw seemed painless as Lulu continued to be fed whipped cream. I so appreciate the way staff care about the emotional as well as the physical health of their furry clients.

Dr. Green and the staff at the Wahiawa Pet Hospital were amazing. At other vets, my dog gets very nervous and anxious, but as soon as we walked in, she was social and happy. The woman at reception was lovely, and the vet tech and doctor showed concern and caringnfor my dog. The price was exactly what I'd expect from a good vet, and I will absolutely be taking my dog here for Dr. Green again.

Have used the services twice. Both times the staff has greeted with energy and kindness. The Vet who saw my cat was very kind and caring. My cat amazingly staid still while she was looked over. The fact my cat was relaxed was what did it for me.

The doctors were patient and kind when we went through a cancer diagnosis with our cat. They were kind enough to send us a card after her death, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. I just wish their prices weren't so painfully high and they would be perfect.

The staff was really friendly and I feel like the pricing was reasonable. I found a little cat covered in mange and crust. I put him in a box and took him to the clinic. I was very scared he was contagious. The staff let me and my three small children sit in the waiting area while they did their diagnosis. I was right, kitty was hella contagious! They clearly explained the steps of how to treat kitty while not infecting myself or the children. They also had us leave via a small side door. I really respect their discreet process of keeping our infected kitty away from the other animals. Good job guys!

Very kind, patient and understanding staff. They even let me speak to a vet tech on the phone (no other place would give me any comfort or advice in a moment of slight panic regarding my dog). They’re affordable, kind and clean!! They are officially my regular vet!!

They were willing to fit me in even though they were booked all day and I had never been there before when my dog had an issue that really needed to be looked at. My regular vet wasn't able to make room for us so I really appreciated their friendly and generous service. Everyone was really nice to me and my dog and their facility was very clean. Our 10 1/2 year old dog needed emergency treatment for a bleeding tumor on his spleen. I called and got an appointment in short order, and after doing a scan he underwent surgery. By the next day he was up, walking and eating again....all without pain. He's already home with us and doing well. The entire staff was very knowledgeable, caring, and very compassionate with our baby.

Great people. Always willing to help and work with our budget. Dr. Kihara is amazing with our reactive dog, Hero. It's a shame she can't travel with us when we PCS. I mean, he doesn't like her, but at least he's familiar with her and so are we. At his latest visit they performed it outside since we couldn't accompany him inside and they refused to take him in alone after his behavior in March's visit. I'm relieved they were willing to accommodate us for it. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, household, and business, and it would have been a shame for his health to be neglected because of his known behavioral problems but they were amazing and I'm happy to keep working with them on our 3 dogs and any fosters we take in until we leave. Hero has real behavioral problems but Dr. Kihara understands and knows he's an amazing dog and with her help he's truly come such a long way.

Wahiawa Pet Hospital is without a doubt the best vet office on island! They care for your animals as if they were there own. Prices are affordable and the staff is top notch. When you have a medical disaster of a dog like I do, expert veterinary care is a must. They always are able to get Kona in either same day or within 48 hours max. They have a military discount as well. I recommended WPH to all of my coworkers and friends. You will not be disappointed by any of the veterinarians, techs, or office staff. Thank you for everything you do to keep my pack as healthy as they can be!

We always receive great care when we visit Wahiawā Pet Hospital. My dogs Kiwi and Fenrir love the techs and drs and always come out smiling. They offer a military discount with a valid military ID. Which is nice since they are a bit higher cost than other vets in the area comparatively. The care you receive is worth it.

The prices are comparable to other clinics and we get a multi-pet discount. In addition to caring for my pets, we go there for food and other supplies. I highly recommend them!

The whole staff here is very friendly and personal! My dog Roku has had his fair share of vet visits and I've always felt at ease with entrusting his care to them. Dr. Crabtree did Roku's neutering a year and a half ago, as well as two surgeries on an abnormal growth about a year ago and Roku has always had a safe and speedy recovery thanks to her expertise. They provide a military discount which is greatly appreciated.

We have seen multiple vets in the past 11 years because we move every few years but Dr Crabtree & the staff at Wahiawa Pet Hospital are by far the most compassionate, thorough, and understanding clinic we have been to. Sadly, we met Dr. Crabtree when our older dog began to get sick. Dr Crabtree and the staff (I sadly do not remember the vet tech that was with us that day) spent a good amount of time examining Lady & explaining everything. She explained all the options and what was to come over the next week. There was never any pressure to do anything. When it came time to say good bye to our dog the staff was again very understanding and compassionate. An all around amazing clinic & we plan to continue to see the team here for our other dog for all of his visits.

This is the best vet on the island, hands down. The staff is beyond amazing and always so genuinly friendly and the vets on staff are the best vets I've ever met. I started coming here while I was dog sitting another doggo that came here and I decided to take my doggo here too, even though it's an extra 20 minutes away. Well worth the extra drive.

I have nothing bad nor good to say about this place. I called them and they just said to take my dog to vca emergency because they were not equipped to handle his case. He had pancreatitis. I guess it's good that they know what they can do and what they cant do and when to refer you elsewhere.

Dr. Natalie Green and her staff are providing my 17 year old chihuahua terrier mix with the best possible treatment and care. Kona is experiencing optimal quality of life in his final years because of them. I highly recommend WPH.

Our german shepherd had a very bad ear infection and our normal vet had no openning. They referred us to Wahiawa pet hospital. We got seen that day, and the facility was clean and staff was approachable and my dogs medicine was very affordable. I would definitely recommend them.

Brought my adopted dog from Humane society to them for follow up care asking to get a monthly dose of nexgard & heartworm treatment until I really know the dog they only offer a 6 month supply that cost $187.00 well she needed treatment so I bought on Thursday long story short my first time having my grandson over this weekend the dig bite him so after spending about $400 at their clinic for her to have best life Iasked if I could return the other 5 doses individually wrapped untouched and they said no my point is I wish as we support local business's we would be supported back it's disappointing that they couldn't do that because I know it can be done .So I'm taking a big loss and wish they would consider some people make a sacrifice for that 6 month supply disappointed because I thought they would work with policy is one thing but local style we try help.I have to surrender her back to Humane society today due to biting incident.

Well I haven't been there for quite some time but it has changed because when I was there before it didn't cost me anything to bring my cat to find out what the problem was now they are charging $25 I think it is just to show up there with your pet and then whatever medicine they give then you can buy that but it wasn't costing anything just to show up there and bring your pet to find out what the problem was they would give you the medicine tell you the problem and that's all it would cost it wouldn't cost you anything just for the visit so that's why I'm giving it a 3-star
