My husband and I decided to take a shelter dog on a field trip while on vacation and…well just look at this darling baby Lilikoi! We were so lucky to spend the day with him…he’s available for adoption and he is an absolute love. I highly recommend that all dog lovers do this. We regularly visit Hawaii but this was the first time experiencing it with a dog. Trust me when I say it makes everything so much more special. To top it all off the Oahu SPCA staff were so friendly. You can tell they really care about the animals. We will 100% do this again.

Been working with the staff of Wahiawa Oahu SPCA in trying to catch, sterilize and release some feral cats in my parents neighborhood and they have been nimble in scheduling which has helped tremendously. I only wish they had room to take them in once they have been "fixed". It's so hard to try to stabilize the feral cat problem and I am grateful for the assistance these good folks are providing.

The workers and volunteers here were lovely and gentle with the animals kept at their facility. Helped along a stray kitten for a few days, the workers assisting at the time were informative and showed great concern for the work they do. Appreciate them greatly for the animals who have no homes.

We just adopted a 7 month old mixed pup named Sunset. Tall, lanky little guy. Renamed him Ryu. He is adjusting well to his forever home. He loves playing in the grass and in the rain... Most of our past dogs hated both rain and tall grass. Keep in mind if you're interested in a pet: Adopting pets saves lives. There are many pets in shelters all around the country that go without finding homes. Oahu SPCA is a no-kill shelter. They find them all homes. Or they find foster families to care for them. If we could take more than one and provide the care they need we would.

They did wonderful work with the animals. Three seperate areas, the clinic where they check the animal, dogs and cats santuaries. Most of the animals were abused by former owners so they didn't warm up to anyone. It's fully air conditioned building but if you're allergic to cats (like my friends) then stay out of the building. Even in the dog sanctuary you can smell the cats (that's what I've been told because my friends were having breathing problems just in the dog sanctuary)

An absolutely wonderful organization who truly cares for the animals of Hawaii. Every year they save hundreds of lives, provide free medical care to them, and find them new forever homes. In addition, they provide invaluable services to the community by offering low cost vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives, wellness services and spaying/neutering. Thank you for all that you do.

The Best prices in town that can't be beat. Their service is very good and in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly and they take good care of your pet. Even with the covid pandemic, they are doing all the recommended procedures yo keep every one and their pets safe. They also have animals for adoption.

Their Petco clinic in Hilo was good especially because it was our first time taking our kitten in for her shots. The medical staff were really nice and knowledgeable on the handling of animals. Our kitty is usually afraid of strangers, but was comfortable in a short time.The Oahu SPCA Petco clinic is a great service for the community. Mahalo!

I appreciate just paying for the vaccine . Thks for help. There was someone there asking questions with 2 dogs. It was my appt time n I had to wait with my cat . I tht the reception lady was not efficient. She cld have let me in for my cat shot n then she answer the man's questions. The 2 workers in back had to wait too. I had to wait for about 20 min with my cat around that man's dogs. I had an appointment the man didn't. I appreciate just paying for vac but the place cld have been ran much much better.

I got two of my cats neutered here and they did a excellent job they were pretty weak after the surgery but they both healed so quickly I highly recommend them.

HIGHLY recommend Oahu SPCA. I can not recommend them enough. The lead vet tech and vet today were such a blessing. I was in tears. We rescued this baby a month ago. He is six years old and seems to never have been properly taken care of, maintaned or trained. He is the sweetest dog and we are his fourth family, and his last! I took him a few weeks ago to have a health exam and update his shots he was missing. I talked to them about nurturing, possible few claw removal, and teeth cleaning. Today we had his appointment. They charge a flat rate, they called and asked if I wanted a few other things done that he desperately needed. I agreed. All in all, he had TWELVE teeth pulled that were basically dead, he was nurtured, and he had his nails trimmed. All for a third of the price Aloha Affordable Vet quoted me at our exam Monday. They treated my baby like he was their own and I could not be more happy. Highly highly recommend them!

Well where do I start? No more free spay and neuter for ferral cats no more 1st shots for ferral cats no more chip I'D for ferral cats I had to pay 60 bucks for a ferral kitten to be neutered. No government funding anymore . And they charge extra if a cat is in heat $ 40 to 50 bucks more . I wish this state was fair and take care of the ferral problem . I mean if they can do it for the chickens then maybe they can figure out something for the cats. So maybe the Human Society is a better choice ? There harsh also ?

Took dog in for a wellness check. Great service, friendly staff, great doctor. Couldn't go in due to covid but right after appointment doctor called to explain that his appointment went well. Discussed a few concerns. Today i called back reguarding a certain concern and staff was very helpful although doctor want available they helped me as best as they could for now until he returns on Wednesday.

Loved it. Took my pup there, I like the workers, very nice. They explain to you your option, will be taking my pup to our spca for vaccinations and check ups. I'm glad we have a "spca" in wahiawa. Very reasonable for those on a budget.

I went once the pandemic became an issue so clients were no longer allowed in the bldg. We had to wait outside in or near our cars and call their phone number to check in if we had appointments, except I had to ask people who were milling around outside to find out what the process for getting my animal checked out was. A sign informing people who have just arrived of the new protocol would be great because the staff that walked in and out moved too quickly and looked too busy to ask. Once I had their attention, though, their staff is friendly and the vet who came out was informative and good at putting my mind at ease about my dog's condition workout misleading me about it.

Got both out puppies vaccines for the most affordable rate on the island. Both of the guys working were friendly and great with the dogs. They made them feel relaxed and worked very quickly.

I think they do a great job caring for your pets and charge a lot less than a private veterinary clinic would. It's hard during covid-19 because you can't go in with your pet for the visit or surgery but it's understandable. I would recommend them for most problems and had a good experience when my dog recently had surgery there

The service was excellent OSPCA even with the procedures in place due to COVID-19. Owners and their pets were greeted warmly in the parking lot to fill out forms and answer questions before their pets were taken into the clinic for their appointment. The whole process was quick and friendly. Angela, the clinic manager was wonderful.

We adopted out cat here! They are all very friendly and I feel the animals are taken care of here. There's lots of volunteers that come and help out through the week so you know they have some human interaction. Also they have good prices and when you adopt they give you a free check up coupon for your animal which is great!

I've only used their low-cost veterinary clinics that rotate between the PETCO locations on O'ahu. You will have to make an appointment on their website. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they can't take walk-ins. Their staff is always professional, helpful, and friendly. We took our dog there for all but his 8 week vaccinations, microchipping, flea/tick, and heartworm test/medicine. The prices are very affordable and the wait is not long. Just recently went back to purchase a year supply of flea/tick and heartworm meds.

I was very surprised at how well maintained the shelter was. Most rescue shelters are very dirty and sad but this particular location was great. All the animals seemed very happy and well taken care of. The building was clean and the staff were kind. This location has only cats and dogs. Adoption fees are very reasonable. Feel free to volunteer!!

I love this place. Stephanie and Sarah are amazing with the animals and they really work hard to provide a safe and secure environment for all these poor animals. If you would like to foster or adopt an animal or are looking for a a great non profit to contribute, please consider them. They are tops.

I like this place. It could use a bit more funding but overall I think it's good. I just took both my chihuahuas there for a exam, de-wormer, shots, heart worm exam, bordetella, and 4 rounds of revolution and it cost me $368 for both dogs. That's so much cheaper than anywhere else I would pay for all of that. Elsewhere I'm looking at paying that price PER dog not for both so that was nice. The vet tech that did the exams noticed my girls knee issue right away without me saying a word about it so that made me feel nice to know that she actually knew what she was doing. Also when I called they said they may not have time to do both dogs at once but they would try. So I made the appointment primarily for my girl who I suspected had worms. Well end the end they were able to take both dogs in and took care of both of them without rushing through one or the other. They also said they were able to get the heart worm test done today which was a big relief because living all the way on hickam, this is a bit of a drive so I'm was super grateful they were able to get everything taken care of today and now my puppies are fully vaccinated and have everything they need for the next year. Thanks SPCA the low cost services you provide really help people maintain good overall health for their fur babies The building and areas around arnt the nicest like I said it could use a bit more funding. It smells like a low end vet and looks about the same BUT that has not and will never stop me from using this place. You cant help how a animal smells. Baths only do so much and this is a small place. So of course its gonna have a funky smell. I'm a little shocked people complain about that so much.

Dial Up Sound

It doesn't look the best, but everyone should look past that. The staff was friendly, helpful and caring. We adopted our ratchi from them and love him to death. The adoption fee is a little higher than we had anticipated, but he was nuetered with shots, and follow ups. They are doing a great job.

Right now they are doing curb service. Call them, they come give you paperwork and number, when ready they get your animal, get calls you, they bring pet back and I paid via credit card. Staff were super friendly. Vet was really professional and patient.

Its mostly a low cost spay/neuter clinic that has very limited medical equipment & treatments. Many dogs and cats are surrendered and that need good homes there. Good place to look for adopting.

Hundreds of dogs, cats and other animals available for adoption. You can tell the staffs genuinely care for the animals and are passionate at what they do. They are a bit far but well worth the drive.

Took my 2 fur babies to get spayed yesterday,.the staff was so nice ..they were so helpful..the Dr.called to let me know that one off them needed additional services..and to get my ok before she did it..dropped them off at 8:00 in the morning..they both were done by 2:30 that afternoon..prices were so reasonable..highly recommend them....KIKI and KEIKO want to thank them to..😻😻
