I use to work at a ER for pets and Dr. Ann would fill in once in a while. She is the best veterinarian I know of. She is such a very caring.... detailed veterinarian. I would trust her with any of my much loved pets. I would highly recommend her to everyone.

It was very difficult to find a vet for "exotic" animals close to where we live. Fortunately, we found this vet clinic open on Saturdays. The vets and nurses are awesome, their care, attention and follow up to our bird has been greatly appreciated. They are definitely worth the drive, their prices are reasonable and we are so thankful that we found them!

After getting a bearded dragon names Spike, this was the only place nearby the accepted exotic animals. Unfortunately, he got sick with metabolic bone disease and passed away after attempting to get medicine for him. Not the vets fault. I then later got now 3 ferrets and two dogs. Dr. Ann and her staff always take very good care of them. At times they have made up for visits that took longer than expected. They even did a special goodie for a puppy I recently adopted. I trust them and will always continue to do business with them. Thank you all for making sure my furry friends are happy and healthy!

I will be eternally thankful for this amazing truly caring team of professionals. My little service dog became ill and was hospitalized twice last week. Dr. Annie sent her home with me for the long Memorial day weekend so she wouldn't be alone in a kennel. Their team kept in touch with me the entire weekend by text. When we returned Tuesday morning she hadn't rallied to health and had to be put down. I was able to hold and love her during the euthanization process. My little girl drifted peacefully off to her eternal sleep.

Staff was excellent , Dr Ann was phenomenal . We highly recommend the Saucier Vet Hospital. It was out first time visiting the office . We live in Gulfport . We made 3 trips over and everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and courteous. Our pet had an amputation performed and the treatment and instructions has help make her transition back to as normal life as possible go very smoothly . We will definitely be visiting again with future pets that we adopt or rescue . Just a wonderful experience all around .

Amazing clinic, you can absolutely tell everyone there cares about the animals. They were VERY great about keeping us updated on our older kitty with an upper respiratory infection and told us even when things were looking grim that they would do everything they could for her. She's doing as well as possible now! The only complaint is the wait times can be fairly long (sometimes we had to wait 3+ hours), but I believe the quality of the care they give and considering how busy they are usually, it's enough to excuse.

I had my first visit with Saucier Vet last week. I was so impressed with every interaction - from the scheduler to the billing associate and all of the people in between like the receptionist, vet tech, Dr Ann, etc. Every single employee there loved their job and the fur babies that came through. I wish I could give 6 stars... This vet clinic is about an hour drive for me, but it's always so worth it. Always. They have been seeing my baby Kahlua for quite some time now, and I'll never go elsewhere. Pros: •Staff is beyond kind. •Payment plan can be discussed with staff. This is the only vet clinic I have ever seen do this and it has saved me COUNTLESS times. •They truly care about your pet. •Prices are reasonable and always cheaper than the vets in my area. •If you have any questions outside business hours, they have an email you can use to email the vet. And let me tell you, this is the most amazing part. They ALWAYS reply with careful instructions. •They have an amazing snack room... Cons: •Wish they had another clinic like this one closer to the coast, but with the same quality staff. •Phone line sometimes goes straight to voicemail if the line is busy, but I always call back a few minutes later and they answer.

If you want a vet that truly cares about your babies, not just charging you an absurd amount because you care about your babies, THIS IS THE VET! An absolutely blessing from God! Always thorough and patient with questions and goes the extra mile in anything and everything with your animals. I wish more vets would be like this! Dr Ann and her team have been outstanding! Even during this hard time with Covid. She has done an outstanding job with my new baby goat and getting him the care necessary since he came to us with some bugs!! Our kitten recently had an injury to his leg and she didn’t hesitate to let us drop him off first thing in the morning- and got him checked out and into surgery to save his leg from amputation! Love Dr Ann and the staff. The front receptionist with the skunk named flower makes me feel great being there, and Dr Ann listens. I have an elderly dog who I believe is going to live his best life we can give him thanks to the education and treatment they all give me. They also don't undermine the way I feel towards my dog and they treat him to their literal best of ability, even though my old man of a did is also the biggest drama King EVER.

When our 14 year old dachshund had to be youthenized it was super difficult but they helped comfort our family through the difficult decision we had to make. In over 20 years of pet ownership I have never met a veterinarian that cares more. It clearly is much more than just work for her. The fact that she is willing to communicate outside the clinic with you with the purpose of avoiding coming in and the associated costs speak volumes. Coupled with the fact that she helps me afford it by offering military discount is awesome. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been taking my animals to this vet for years. I highly recommend them as they are very thorough when treating the animals. Dr. Ann is mostly who takes care of my fur babies. As far as prices go, I've never had her jump straight into anything expensive. She always starts out with the least and then if anything else is needed, she goes from there. I've never had a bad experience with Dr. Askew or Dr. Ann. The only complaint I have is the wait time. Don't plan anything for the day when taking your animals in. It usually takes around 2-3 hrs from start to finish. It doesn't matter if you have an appt. or not. Nonetheless, I still use them because it's worth it!

These guys are amazing, i had an injured red tail boa ,they accepted him just like he was a dog or cat, they worked with us on payment plans and even offered us drinks and snacks while we waited!! These guys truely give the best service on the ms gulf coast! Im beyond impressed with the service these wonderful people offered us! We are fulltime rvers from Oregon. Our lab became very ill with what we later found out was horrible bacterial infection. Dr. Ann is absolutely the best! She truly cares for her clients. Big heart and full of compassion. The staff was/is amazing from the first initial call to the office through the entire process. Every staff member we interacted with was alo full of compassion. They all had Gunner's best interest in mind. We can't say enough about our awesome experience with what was a terrifying time. Not knowing if he would come home with us or not! My issue with this place is not the level of care but the prices. Both Dr Ann and Dr James give excellent treatment and truly care about your animals. However, the products they sell you are at huge markups over what you can get online, and if you mention to them you would like to buy an item online, they will then try to scare you into not doing it by saying that you never know if the product you are buying online is expired or fake. Which is just ridiculous because all products have expiration dates on them and the major retailers online can prove they buy their products directly from the manufacturer. I understand they need to make profits, and all Vet clinics have markups on their products, but the issue is just how large these markups are. And yes, their diagnostic and testing procedures are expensive as well. So do bring in your animal if you want the best care, but have a credit card handy because you are likely to get a huge bill for their services.

The doctor is great but i always spend 2 to 3 hours at this office and i do not get to go back with my dog and the staff treats me like i am a child with the exception of one woman who is wonderful and the doctor is always great i am getting very aggravated with the fact i never get to go to the room with my dog anymore and they always address issues in the lobby concerning my dog and i do not think this is appropriate because i would not want my doctor or nurse to address my health in the waiting room in front of a bunch of people beside that this is a great Vet to bring your fur babies to the staff courtesy needs to improve....
