Everyone is Amazing! They all treat Onyx like he is their dog. They are always so excited to see him and get down on the floor to pet him and love on him, especially Rachel. Onyx receives the best care and we never feel like we are rushed. Dr. Selig was with us for over 45 minutes when Onyx had been throwing up. He answered all my questions. Dr. Wigley has also cared for Onxy and she to great with him too. Dr. Parks hasn't met Onxy yet but she took wonderful care of our last dog Muffin before she passed away from cancer. I will never take my fur baby anywhere else! They real treat youlike family!

I had been with my previous vet for many years. It became difficult to get in for a check up. I called Northwood Animal Hospital and explained my deliMma. They were able to get me In that afternoon. I was greeted by the male and female receptionist and they were very welcoming. Then I met Dr Wrigley, my frenchies love her and so does my crackhead Morkie. She spent so much time getting to know them and made them feel comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about procedures for my frenchie who had iris melanoma and she was patient and answered all of my questions. I then ran into one of my favorite former coworkers, Sherida. Sheridan is top notch and I learned a lot from her over the years. I am so glad to have found this animal hospital, which is 10 minutes from my new house and made the change to Northwood AH. Thank you all for being so welcoming!

Dr Selig has always been just amazing to us. He knows exactly how to handle my kitty and he makes the whole experience a lot easier on both of us. On this last visit, he sprayed Feliway on himself so he wouldn’t smell like dogs. How thoughtful is that?! And the technician brought in a towel with some Feliway as well to help my kitty feel calm during the appointment. The whole staff from the front desk to the Doctors have been great and so helpful. We’ve also seen Dr Parks who has even called me after hours to make sure we were taken care of. She clearly loves what she does and I appreciate all she has done to ensure we get the best possible treatment for my baby. By the end of my appointment, it got very loud at the reception, so a gentleman helped me check out in the room, so my kitty wouldn’t be more stressed. These little things make all the difference. Thank you for helping me take care of my babies. You deserve all the praise!

This was my first time. I must say the service was superb from the initial call I made to schedule the appt (same day appt). The person did not make me feel like I was intruding on her day. Very nice. Then the Vet Tech was superb! Lastly, the Vet, Dr. Parks, absolutely incredible!!!! She explained everything. There are other things KiKi will need soon, but she comforted me by saying, first let’s focus on the reason you brought her in today and get this under control (allergies), then we will work towards a plan for her other needs! THAT IS AMAZING! Every other Vet tries to do as much as they can and you leave having spent a small fortune. I cannot tell you how impressed I am! I am telling everyone about the incredible experience that we had. I am so grateful! You have a customer for life!!! Thank you to Dr. Parks & the entire staff!❤️

They are very knowledgeable and take the time to answer any and all of our questions. They call us and check on the status of our pup after each visit and they truly care about the well being of their pet patients. My little one was so sick when we walked into the office and met Dr. Julie for the first time. She made diagnosis and outlined all our options carefully. She described how our little one was feeling which broke my heart. She made suggestions and then asked us what we wanted to do. She touched my heart with the love she showed for my little girl and to me. Although the outcome was not what we had hoped it would be, we were treated with compassion and respect. My dog has seizures when put it in a high stress situation, she has pretty bad anxiety. I was using Banfield but she cannot walk through the door there or any other vet clinic without having a seizure. When I called to make an appointment with Northwood Hills they were extremely understanding of my situation and understood my dog's needs. They were actually able to complete all of my paperwork, the dog's vaccinations and exam all in the parking lot during our appointment. I never had to step inside the bldg. once. My dog stayed very calm the entire time and they did a great job handling her to make sure she was comfortable during the entire exam. If you have a dog with special needs as I do I highly recommend this place. Very professional staff and will be using this clinic from this point on.

Dr. Parks always spends a lot of loving time with my fur baby. She educates me on what may be going on with my pet. I never leaving feeling as if I’m in the dark. I also love that the staff calls the next to check on your pet. I always leave here feeling satisfied and secure knowing that my fur babies are in good hands. I recently moved to Mississippi and found myself in need of a good vet rather quickly. I called around and this was the first place able to fit me in immediately. I found their check in system to be efficient given COVID. Wait time was minimal. The preliminary team checking out my cat was quick, gentle and efficient. Dr Parks then came in to examine my cat. She was very professional, gentle and took her time. She explained to me what was going on in a way I could easily understand. She recommended a few options for the fix. After making my choice. she quickly and professionally administered the medication. I checked out in a quick and efficient manner. Her staff then called the next two days to check in on my cat to ensure the meds worked. Doesn't get much better than this! A+++

Just moved down here to MS and had to find a new vet for my dog who has had terrible experiences with vets in the past and even though he, himself did not do very well at his first appointment, the staff here was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Even with my dog not wanting to cooperate with them they treated us with the upmost respect and kindness and answered all of my 10’s of questions I asked without hesitation. 100% would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Parks and Dr. Selig are the most compassionate Vets I have ever encountered. When my Yorkie stopped breathing, I literally ran into their lobby with my baby and they didn’t hesitate to help me. They found that she had fluid around her heart. Months later, my Nessie is still on meds and acting like a puppy at 7 yrs. old. Our older dog, Molly, is so nervous when she goes for an appointment. As soon as she is with Dr. Parks, she calms down. That says something about a person if your pup is comfortable with them. Our Yorkie is the same. She easily goes to staff and loves Dr. Parks. She otherwise will only go to me or my husband. Best place to bring your fur babies ❤️

Dr Julie Parks has been outstanding for us!!! We first moved here and we picked Northwoods for our dog- once moved into our home in Long Beach we changed to a closer veterinarian for convenience. We had an acute situation and our vet couldn’t get us in for 10 days- we called back to Northwoods and they worked us in within 3 hrs- Dr Parks is helps us to understand what is going on, explains treatment and is very tender with our Max at every visit- highly recommend Northwoods as their entire staff are efficient kind and helpful!

I brought in a kitten that got hit by a car, I had no money on me at all because I was at work, I brought the kitten in asking for any help at all and they immediately saw the kitten, the poor kitten had to be euthanized but my point being is when my dog had cancer he went to a different vet and they refused to even see him without payment first while he was bleeding out on the clinic floor of this other vet. I will be bringing all of my animals to this clinic from now on because I can truly tell how much they care about animals. Thank you for caring about the animals and not the money.

Today I took my boy Abe to Northwood Hills to take care of an ear infection. All my home remedies didn’t fix the problem. Dr Carley came in and immediately identified the problem and provided resolution. I’ll tell you honestly, the care, compassion and bed side manner of this team was amazing!
