They have taken care of a total of 10 of my dogs. When 3 of them died in one year they let me stay in the large animal room and take as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes to them. They are amazing vets. Dr. Byrd will get on the ground with my bloodhound who is petrified of going to the vet because of a previous bad experience not here, and allow her to come to him on her terms when she is ready. When my cat was having seizures they were there for me gave me all the time I needed after I had to put her down because the seizures were unmanageable and she was just miserable. My 2 female dogs will only see Doc Byrd because of his slow approach with them and they have been traumatized in the past. My male dogs walk in all happy ready to say hi to anybody and try walking behind the desk. So my boys will see doc Byrd or doc Petterman. In my opion hands down best vets around.i have been going there for the past 7 years and wouldn't change it for the world. Front desk staff is super nice and if you have questions if they don't know the answer they will get you the answer and call you back with the answer. They are just absolutely amazing.

We have been coming here for years, with all of our pets, One Bulldog in particular who is a "special needs" animal that is in here at least every month. This staff has kept this dog alive. Everyone in here is Awesome!

When my Catahoula Heeler Pup got sick, and was not recovering I made an appointment at the clinic. Dr. Peterman thought she had a tick borne infection. He sent us home with antibiotic and fever med. Today at 6:00 am, ( less than 24hrs since her visit ) Blue Eyes was up on her feet at her kennel gate ready to come out. Her appetite was coming back. I want to thank him so much. He is skilled, and I believe he also has very good intuition about the animals condition. Antibiotics work wonders, but it takes the skill of the Vet diagnose and prescribe it. She was very sick and this is almost a miraculous turn around. Many thanks to Dr. Peterman and all of his staff!

We brought our 10 yr. old Rat Terrier with an enlarged heart to Dr. Jeff,; our dog was stumbling and losing control of his front legs, it was heart breaking. Dr. Jeff thought he might not make it thru the weekend. He sent us home with 3 new medications and miraculously by Monday, our dog was fully recovered. Everyone at the clinic is so nice and they are very efficient. We cannot say enough about this place. They truly saved our dogs life.

I've had my share of large and small animals through the years. Dr. Peterman and Dr. Byrd are always willing to answer any question in depth, in an understandable way. From my diabetic cat, my dog with liver issues, a horse with ruptured intestines, and even the healthy critters, they treat each one as if it's the only patient in their care at the time. The techs are brilliant and are able to handle my not so well behaved critters like pros. The best customer service comes from the ladies who work with you to schedule and try to accommodate you in any way possible.

Dr. Byrd is amazing. He is very thorough and explains everything he is doing to treat your animal. What impressed me most is he treats you like a friend, he make eye contact with you and answers questions you may have. My teenage daughter's horse was sick and he was sure to include her in the conversation. As far as my family is concerned he is the absolute best!

My husband and I recently lost our 20 year old chihuahua Santino. Dr Peterman came to our home to help Santino get to Heaven as we woke up that morning finding him no longer able to eat, drink or stand up. Dr. Peterman and his associate Timmy were very gentle with Santino and he passed quickly without pain. My husband and I became hysterical as our baby passed away in my arms. Dr. Peterman went and waited outside as we screamed, cried and mourned. Dr. Peterman returned after a while to take Santino to his office so he could be picked up for cremation and today Santino is back home with us only in a different form. It has been so painful but we are extremely appreciative of the way Dr. Peterman and Timmy handled this horrible event in our lives with such professionalism. We are also grateful for the empathy we have received after this ordeal from Dr. Peterman and his staff. Santino was a life long patient of Mobile Veterinary Services and we credit them for helping us to help Santino live such a long, healthy and happy life. They are truly the best!
