Absolutely wonderful office, they managed to fit my dog Beatrice in last-minute two weeks ago so she could be seen on an emergency. I was nervous but they sent me texts and pictures of her in her comfortable kennel on a luxurious blanket that eased my worry. They checked in on her several times after to make sure she was still okay, and are readily available by text which is helpful for me who likes text over talking. I came in again today, their services are well priced and everyone is so friendly. Everyone had to pet and love my dog, and gave her treats. She was so much calmer here than other offices. The offices are clean and beautifully decorated, an absolutely adorable little place. Thank you so much!! Pictures included for dog tax.

Clean and professional- but more importantly- kind. I appreciate that the staff and vet took their time with my dogs making it a fun and happy experience for both of them. Typically you can find my dogs hiding under my chair or crying on my lap- but not at this vet! They were too busy playing and getting affection that they hardly noticed they were at the vet anymore. If you’re looking for a compassionate, kind environment for your nervous dog- I highly recommend this vet (: and so do my dogs!

I’m new to the area so I was expecting to have to wait a long time to get my dog in for his vaccines, but Sploot was able to get me in the next day. I’ve been there twice since then and have been able to make same day appointments. The staff is so friendly and you can really tell how much they love animals. They text the next day to check in on your pet and you can text them with any questions or appointment requests which makes it even more convenient. Highly recommend!!!

Had my first visit there today with my dog. Not only were they able to get me in in a timely matter but there open availability is what I loved. After searching for quite a while for the perfect veterinarian office, I felt this is the one. The staff was incredibly nice and the office was so clean and inviting. The doctor made sure all my concerns and questions were answered. From now on my all my fur babies will be coming here!

I recently had to take my chi-weenie Diego because we noticed that he wasn’t acting like himself and seemed to be in pain. I called around to different vets to get him in and I’m so glad I found Sploot! They were so helpful over the phone and were able to give me all the info that I needed and got him in within an hour. I was a little nervous to drop Diego off but they were so kind and friendly which eased my mind. They were honest about what to expect, especially the cost and I was able to come get him a few hours later. Not only did we have a great experience in the office they text me the next day to check on him and see how he was doing. The care they gave him was exceptional!! I would recommend Sploot to everyone I know!! They are amazing here.

I love this place! As a first time dog owner, I have a lot of questions and was nervous about finding a vet I trusted. My friend recommended Sploot to me, so I tried them out and they were amazing. They were super flexible with my schedule, responsive, and gave me very solid advice about navigating puppy parenthood. I've watched my boyfriend really struggle with dealing with veterinary care for his dog, so I was so relieved to have such a positive environment with Sploot. Plus, they treat my Golden Retriever puppy like she's a celebrity every time she comes in, and even provided he with an emotional support dog to sit in on the exam her first two visits! I can't recommend this place enough!

Very warm and caring, and I'm glad they offer urgent care every day of the week. Accidents happen every day, not just during the workweek (especially with little kittens!), so having a vet that can see you quickly was a relief, especially one with such a nice office and wonderful staff! Little Pari took a tumble from the upper floor onto the stairs, and even though she seemed fine, the vet looked her over to put a worried kitty-mom's heart at ease! Thanks so much!

Last night I had to bring my sweet older cat in. I knew she wasn’t doing good at all she had just turned 20. She wasn’t breathing like normal and hadn’t been eating. They were the 5th vet clinic I called and they got me in immediately for the last hour they were open. They were so sweet and the vet was so so kind. She gave me all the options and I knew it was time to let squishy go. They took their time and let me have lots of time with her before they put her to sleep even though they were closing. And as the vet was administering the medication she was telling squishy we all loved her and she’ll be better now. It was so sweet and it’s hard to write this without crying but I had to let everyone know this clinic is really amazing. Thank you for taking care of us so last minute.

My hubby and I adore Sploot and the entire staff. Our three doggos are not the easiest as far as being overly excited for life and they know just how to handle them! Also, want to shout out Dr. Berns as she has always gone the extra mile for our problematic boy with ear infections. She shows my babies so much love and care. Sploot is AWESOME. We had an emergency with our 9-month puppy, and the whole staff was so accommodating, kind, and helpful. They went out of their way to make our anxious pup feel comfortable and happy and he did better than he has at any vet so far. The vet also broke down our whole invoice with us and explained everything really thoroughly before doing anything, which was a welcome change from vets we've been to before where a huge invoice just shows up at the end of your visit. 10/10 from us!

UPDATE: I received a call from one of the founders of Sploot. While it doesn't change the experience I had, I'm impressed with their customer service and desire to make things right. I sincerely appreciate the apology and hope they'll learn from my experience. I had high hopes for Sploot, after a friend recommended them and I saw their Google reviews. But I have never had a worse experience with a vet and I caution anyone who is considering taking their pet to Sploot. I brought my cat in because she’s been experiencing some weight loss. No other health concerns, but I wanted to be proactive and determine the cause. The visit went well enough; the call with the results of the blood work did not. A few values were elevated and the vet recommended thousands of dollars of diagnostics, to all be done at once. When I said I needed to be somewhat cost conscious, and asked how she would prioritize the different tests, she responded that I could always euthanize my cat. A vet should never nonchalantly recommend ending a young, healthy cat’s life. Least of all when an owner asks a fair question about costs. I was devastated and called another vet’s office. They assured me there were a number of free and low-cost options to explore, the tests could easily be prioritized, and euthanasia was not at all warranted. I will happily be giving this other vet my money and I will be steering clear of Sploot. Others may want to do the same.

I was looking for a new veterinarian and I came across Sploot. I am so thankful I did. As soon as I made the appointment. I got text reminders , witch I love. When I walked in for my dog’s appointment I was greeted with a smile and a clean spacious waiting area. The place is spotless, smells fresh and clean . The vet tech and vet that saw my dog were both the nicest people ever! Very gentle, friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt like the pricing is fair and not over priced. I didn’t get talked into doing something I didn’t think was necessary for my dog. I’m so excited my dog is in great hands at Sploot. We found a forever veterinarian!

We just switched vets to work with Sploot and I am so glad we did! What a wonderful first visit. Our Vet, Dr Saunders, was so great! I love that he sat right on the floor with my pup. She is a rescue and is VERY shy and wary of vets. She was relaxed around him and even gave him a little nose bump on his hand. I was surprised! He sat with us and went over the exam and was very thoughtful, kind and professional. I never once felt rushed. I loved that they also gave us a price breakdown of everything before actually doing anything. That was refreshing and not something any Vet that I have ever been to has done. The clinic was so clean and the rooms are great. They are relaxing for both the humans and the animals, and soft music was playing too. All around a great experience. I am so happy we found Sploot and actually am looking forward to our next yearly check up!

I was searching for a new vet for my two Bengal cats and live near Sploot. After reading their stellar reviews online, I decided to take my boys there for their checkups, and I am so glad I did! Scheduling appointments online was seamless. Initially, I scheduled their appointments a little over an hour apart from one another, but upon calling the clinic, they could see both of the kitties simultaneously, which made my life a lot easier. I loved that they sent me the check-in forms via text the night before so we could be ready for our appointment. The Sploot clinic is clean, cute, and easy to access. We saw Dr. Kim, and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I received a text 24 hours after our appointment checking in on the boys to see how they were feeling after their vaccinations. It’s safe to say we will return to Sploot, no question!

Best vet experience ever! The clinic was so pet- and owner-friendly, the staff was so kind, and it is so stinking cute in there! Making an appointment and follow-up was a breeze. My dog is shy and my veterinarian took so much time with her to make sure she was comfortable prior to the exam, and spent ample time answering all of my new-dog-owner questions. I thought all of this would come with a higher price tag, but it was also incredibly reasonably priced for such great care. Can't recommend highly enough!

Sploot is great! Took our dog in for an allergy problem. Dr. Sylvia made a plan for us to help our pup and covered all angles. The staff is friendly and professional. I also really appreciated the bottled water in the exam room for pet parents on a 99 degree day. Thank you! We are bringing all our fur kids to Dr. Sylvia. BTW, our pup was quite a bit better the next day!

I can’t say enough great things about Sploot. I was treated promptly and every member of their team was incredibly friendly, yet professional. The environment is very clean, aesthetically pleasing, and welcoming. Most importantly, they were great with my dog. First time at this office and couldn't be happier. The facilities are pristine and did a great job keeping an anxious dog from being triggered by a bunch of strangers in the waiting room - in fact, we spent no time in the waiting room but went directly to the exam room. The vet tech was friendly and efficient. She seamlessly examined Dale without upsetting him. She was able to provide costs and risks/benefits for suggested vaccines so I could make an informed decision. And when she gave the injection, Dale didn't flinch! The vet was just as friendly, gentle, and informative. I didn't for a moment feel like he was trying to get out of the room for the sake of time. Every question I had received a thorough but understandable answer. While we talked, the tech was even able to go find some information about area trainers. It feels great to know that this organization is there if Dale needs them. Thanks so much!

Sploot was great when we needed to to get our dog's paw checked out but our regular vet couldn't get us in for a week. We heard about Sploot from an event they did at a local coffee shop in our neighborhood, thankfully we did! We were able to take our dog in right away, they checked him out and were very upfront about the cost of everything before they continued with treatment. Although it was a little bit more expensive than our regular vet, to be able to get him in right away instead of waiting a week was worth the extra couple dollars. Not to mention how friendly the staff, vet techs and vet are that made the whole experience pleasant for us and our dog. I highly recommend Sploot to everyone!

If you want to feel genuinely cared for as a pet owner plus to witness the attention your pet deserves, you have to go to Sploot! I called about my standard schnauzer having diarrhea and they were able to take me in the very next day (They even offered same day but I declined as I have difficulty driving at night). My vet tech and vet explained everything very thoroughly and gave me their undivided attention. They made sure I had all my questions answered so that I left at ease. 10/10 recommend Sploot. 🙂

I originally came to Sploot because they’re usually able to fit us in for a drop-off same day, or get my dog an appointment next-day without ER vet costs, which is so rare. But we will be staying for the incredible staff and service we received. Alexa (vet) and Carmen (tech) were so knowledgeable, great with my puppy, and so patient and reassuring with me. They took tons of time to explain options to me and gave me a detailed pricing list before making any decisions about care. Carmen even helped me walk my dog out to the car and lift him in for me after he came out of anesthesia. They called when we got home to make sure my pup was ok, and texted the next morning as well. We couldn’t be happier with their service and help during a scary time!

Just started taking our puppy here. Not sure what to expect since we are first time pet owners but can't say enough good things about this place. All the staff was very friendly and were able to help talk us through insurance and expenses and made sure we were comfortable. The nurses and vets were incredibly sweet and made our pup feel right at home. Very convenient if you live in the Highlands but they also are opening a Rino location which is great too.

Very easy to make an appointment online and most communication prior to the appointment re medical records, check in, and confirmation is done via text which I love. The technicians and vet were kind, helpful, and ready to answer any questions we had. It’s been three days since my cat’s visit and the treatment he’s on already seems to be working. We received a follow up to see how he was doing the next day. The clinic itself was very clean and prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend!

New puppy means new vet opportunities! We were so pleased with how patient the staff were with Fezzik, who is still learning to be a good citizen. They were very understanding of his desire to chew everything and backed our play when we said to remove the treat because he was being territorial over it. They answered our questions and welcomed us to ask more as we learn to live with this high energy pooch. They were also so efficient about his temperature and the shots he needed and they showed us where to cut his nails so we don't hurt him when we do it ourselves. Just really a great experience for new puppy parents.

My sweet boy Kennie is a nervous, cattle dog/German mix, and I was honestly really worried about bringing him to the vet for the first time. Not only did Sploot welcome with open arms, but they were SO communicative and honest. I loved how they don’t pressure you into buying any treatment, they just lay out the options and work with what you can afford. I will 100% be taking Kennie here for as long as I live in the Denver area. The vets and staff are phenomenal, and they really go the extra mile to make sure your furry friend is doing better!

Love this place! For some reason we have had to take all four of our pets to the vet over the last three months. This place recently opened up in our neighborhood, and I was so happy to find it so close to us. Everyone there is always kind and professional - from the front desk staff to the vet techs to the vets themselves. They have a very transparent philosophy there. You can see into the back from the exam rooms. It shows that they’re not afraid to show you what’s going on behind the scenes which gives me a lot of confidence. They are also very quick, I’ve never had to wait more than about 10 minutes to see a vet tech or the vet. Also I love that you can make appointments online! Selfishly, I would like for no one else to know about this place, so that I can always get in when I want to, but they deserve the praise!

Everyone I talked to, from the receptionist to the vet herself, was extremely kind, informative, and seemed to really care about my baby’s health! I can’t say enough good things about Sploot! We originally went to them as we had a urgent issue with our new puppy that they were easily able to remedy. They are now our primary vet clinic for our sweet Great Dane pup. We went in for vaccinations recently and it was such a positive experience for her. She got to sit on a couch and eat cheese while she got her shot. I don’t think she even realized she was at a veterinary clinic! You all are wonderful!!

Great clinic overall--very clean + cute! So happy a friend referred me here -- been here twice since adopting my dog 2 months ago, first for kennel cough treatment and then again for a wellness check/vaccinations. From start to finish at both visits, the front desk staff, vet assistants, and both Dr.'s I met with were friendly, prompt, and really took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer my [many] questions from being a new dog mom. You can tell their staff consists of genuine animal lovers :). Pricing is also very fair and and transparent...they break everything down with you beforehand, so no surprises.

Everyone here is top-notch! I had an urgent situation with my cat, Bob. His current vet had been absorbed by a bigger company with locations a bit far for me, so we were yet to find someone new. They were so accommodating despite having a busy scheduled day. We made an appointment for a couple of hours later, which was perfect so I could get together pet records and fill out their forms (which they texted over, which was great). Andy was enjoyable to chat with as I waited when it was time to pick him up. They took such great care of Bob, including after care follow up. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Roderick is amazing! Our dog has severe anxiety when it comes to new situations and Sploot handled her with such kindness and made sure she was comfortable the whole appointment. They gave us great resources for training reactivity and were so helpful in making sure our pup’s behavioral issues were not caused by anything medical. What's not to LOVE about this place? HIGHLY recommend! They are literally open 10am-10pm 7 days a week. It makes things very convenient, and easy to get your fur- baby seen. Delightful experience. I’m new to the area and didn’t have a primary vet. Had an eye issue with my cat- was able to get her in super quickly, the staff were kind, the facilities are top notch, and the follow-up was clear and immediate. One specific thing I really appreciated - the vet told me where she was comfortable offering services and when it was more appropriate to proceed with a specialist. In the past, one of my cats had a procedure done that I later found out was botched because it should’ve been performed by a specialist given how small she was. It’s a gesture that builds trust. Would recommend.

Sploot was able to get me in same day for my dog Thor on Christmas Day at a fraction of the cost of what the emergency vet had told me. They were very price transparent and Thor didn’t even seem to notice he was at the vet with the way their clinic was set up. We are now moving over to them for primary care as well. We took Duke here for an upset tummy that has progressed over 2 years (seemed like occasionally at first then really really bad the past month with lots of weight loss) we were seen quickly and with the best care and nurturing touch to Duke while actively listening to a worried mom and dad. (hard to do with our 3kids here 🤣) we got in and out with what we think is a good solution and plan to use Sploot any time we are needing a Vet. ❤️ Thanks team for making Duke and our family feel apart of your family ❤️

Brought our dog in for a same-day urgent care visit after a few days of GI illness and we were wowed by the kindness, attention and knowledge of the staff. Our shelter pup is a really anxious gal, and everyone we interacted with was so patient and helped to ease her (and our) fears. The vets took their time with our exam, kept us informed at every step, and we didn’t feel rushed at all; they ran all necessary tests and have our girl feeling better less than 24 hours later. Had a wonderful first visit experience at Sploot yesterday (we moved to Denver from DC a few months ago). I have a very sweet 2.5 year old border collie/Aussie rescue who is unfortunately extremely nervous and wary of new people and can be somewhat unpredictable in high stress environments. Needless to say I was nervous to bring him to a new vet because he can be reactive when strangers touch him. The team at Sploot were so kind and patient and are clearly pros at dealing with dogs of all behaviors. They took time on the floor to allow my pup to get used to them and gently took him away for his exam and he came back after really calm and relaxed and they reassured me he did a great job. I really appreciate the whole team and their kindness, they clearly all love animals and love what they do. The office is clean and bright and very cutely decorated. We were seen on time and the whole process was very positive. Highly recommend, especially if you’re a pet parent of a nervous pup! 💕

Sploot is incredible. They don’t leave you waiting hours in walk in lines and and always have current appointment availability. You’re not waiting for weeks. They’re even open late and on weekends. My favorite feature is the texting option. I needed records today, sent a text and they emailed them. They even text me the day after my dogs’ appointment to see how they were doing. The staff are so kind. Prices are a smidge higher than my previous vet, but the availability, kind staff and customer service is worth it.

Sploot is AMAZING. I had to take my dog to the ER over the weekend and they referred me to Sploot for follow up care. Making the appointment was quick + easy, they ended up having an opening a day earlier and called to inform me. Check in was a breeze and the team really listened to my concerns regarding payment and my dog's condition. They accommodated as much as possible and kept me informed throughout the process. Additionally the facility is well kept and no where near as chaotic as some pet emergency hospitals I've visited which is a bonus due to my anxiety surrounding bigger dogs after my dog has been recently attacked.

Probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a vet. My dog really does not enjoy being at the vet and most vets are aware of that and try to help your animals cope but the staff at Sploot did a tremendous job at making Layla feel comfortable even when she was uncomfortable. They also made sure to show me how to administer the eye drops the easiest ( it’s never easy lol ) way possible and did it there in front of me to show me an example of how it is done. Sploot for life. Will never go to another vet again. :)

After my pups accidentally ingested some medications and supplements, I didn’t have a ton of options on a weekend. When calling multiple animal hospitals, I was told anywhere from 2-4 hours before they could be seen. Sploot however could see my pups immediately - which is what I needed in such an emergent situation. They took great care of my dogs and listened closely. So thankful they were available. My dogs are doing great - and they even checked in on them the next day to make sure! Should I ever need it again, I will be going to Sploot for my pet emergencies.

100/10!!!! from the moment my pup Leia and i stepped in the door we felt safe and comfortable. the ambiance is incredibly different than any other vet clinic i've been to! there were no harsh white lights that blind you, and that make the environment feel a little too sterile. it was cozy and very inviting! the neon light signs were a nice touch. they also have little treat stations all over the place to reward your babies for being well behaved and staying strong through an anxious vet visit. the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient with my questions and they truly cared about my pets specific needs. i didn't feel rushed or pressured into any decisions. the billing was very transparent and broken down into descriptions that i could easily understand. i was also offered multiple variations of treatment options that they could do that day depending on my budget and comfort. i was very pleased with that. i could hear all the staff talking in high pitched baby voices when Leia was walked through the back area to have her exams done. this made me feel very safe letting her go without being by her side. i know that they only wanted to love on her and take the best care of her, possible! thanks Sploot team! y'all rock and i will most certainly be back for any of Leias needs:)

Sploot is unlike any vet I’ve been to. You make an appointment online, or through a text/call and you’re set. They’re always on time for your appointment, quick to learn your dog’s weird name pronunciation, and are incredibly warm and welcoming. Expect to be greeted by friendly staff and then swiftly checked-in and moved to a room to meet a knowledgeable nurse or doctor. They’ll sit on the floor with your companion, make them feel comfortable, check them from wet nose to wagging tale, and ask if you have any questions that’s been on your mind or concerns that have been weighing heavy on you. If they don’t have the answer, they’ll find it for you and get back to you. For me, the fact they have appointments next day for any of my self-inflicted procrastination panic attack scenarios has me going back over and over. They’re a lifesaver I’ve needed for a long time. Highly recommend this vet for anyone who has a fur baby needing swift, affordable, and passionate vet care!

I have been taking care of a cat from a deceased neighbor. She showed up with a wound above her eye. I called Sploot and they were able to take her the same day. That was super helpful, because I never know when she is going to be around. After checking and cleaning the wound they gave her an antibiotic injection, and all of her vaccines as I don't know when she was last vaccinated. Dr. Saunders was great, and I was able to take her home that evening. Thank goodness Splott is open from 8 to 10, and you can just call and take them in. They were also reasonably priced for all that they did. I would recommend Sploot.

What a great experience! We stopped by Sploot after moving neighborhoods and needing a closer vet and were floored with our first visit. A refreshingly modern and pup-first approach to pet care. Dr Jake was a dog whisperer in getting our sometimes (okay always) ornery Bernedoodle to relax for a shot. The clinic’s later hours are much more friendly for those who work and for the unexpected, which always seemed to happen our prior vet was closed. The digital scheduling and billing makes logistics a cinch- will be recommending Sploot to all of our pup Scout’s friends!

I came to Sploot for a second opinion. I have a 15 yr old dog with digestive problems. She had a UTI and a different vet prescribed a 14 day hero dose of very strong antibiotics. The vet at Sploot was sensitive to my dogs situation and instead prescribed a 3 day dose that is less likely to upset her stomach. It also came with a 10 day digestive support package. I'm happy to say that we had no issues with the antibiotic Sploot prescribed and I'm confident the UTI will be fully resolved in 3 days. Thank you!! 😊

We went to see the team at Sploot in November 2022 for some GI, bladder and anxiety concerns, as well as a general New Patient Visit. Having read up on their website and reviews, I was excited to give them a try (they were also a 4 minute drive, vs a 20- 30 minute drive to our primary). I have a very fearful rescue pup so a calm, slow (as possible) experience is important for us. We did a couple of “happy visits” leading up to the appointment, which the staff were great about. They even suggested I call ahead and they’d call me back as soon as they had a room ready for us so that we could go straight back. Anyone who has a reactive dog knows these kinds of accommodations are essential, so I appreciated this. Our vet tech (Bailey?) was very sweet and put little pressure on my girl, which I appreciated. She even had me take my dog’s temperature in her armpit so that the tech didn’t have to approach and frighten my dog further. Now the reason for my lower rating: our experience with the vet (couldn’t find her on the website, but I think it was Dr. Kim?) could have gone better. She was very kind, but it didn’t seem like she knew how to handle a nervous dog. She had us all exit the room, do a lap down the hall together, and come back into the room. I was not told why we were doing this other than “it’s just an exercise to do,” but my guess was that it was to give my dog a reset, allow her to escape the stressful situation, and come back into the room all together. I was going slow as I could tell my dog was scared, but Dr. Kim soon took the leash from my hand and led her around a bit quicker. When we got back into the room my dog ran to the corner and both the vet and the tech approached and basically boxed her in, a closeness which I felt was not necessary for this appointment— so yeah, a nervous dog, cornered and trapped (!) They were using soft voices and were crouched down, but that is still very scary and threatening to a nervous dog, especially as they were head on just a foot or two away from her and giving her wayyy too much eye contact. I was quite surprised by this as it seemed glaring wrong to me, but let it go as I was not the professional in the room. Luckily, my dog is a hider and not a biter, but just one interaction could change that. I’m now learning how to better advocate for my dog, even at the vet’s office where I thought most would be better trained. The rest of the appointment felt rushed (again, the wrong way to handle a nervous dog). I think the vet spent 5, mayyybe 10 minutes with us, even though we had a few different topics to cover given our reason for the visit. I understand they’re busy and have other patients to attend to and can’t always afford to take the time that a pet may need, but… isn’t that kind of the whole Sploot model? That they attempt to foster a calm, low-stress experience? My girl was going to be stressed no matter what, but this particular vet’s approach certainly didn’t help. Anyway she wrapped up and then came back a few minutes later as we were about to leave to tell me about Reconcile- a variation of prozac (which my dog is already on) but more importantly a resource for owners of anxious dogs. She suggested I visit the website for information on behavioral training (which we already do a lot of). When I went to look it up, the website pretty much exclusively talked about how to help your dog with separation anxiety… which is sooo not the type of anxiety we’re dealing with here, like at all. The GI and bladder issues were more follow ups of care received at our primary vet but overall, it felt like she just didn’t fully understand the core issues my dog is experiencing and how to help us. So yeah, not a 5 star visit. I give 3 stars for how kind and understanding the rest of the staff were. The vet was nice too and nothing was particularly harmful, but given the rushed nature and lack of behavioral understanding, we will not be returning.

I can not express my gratitude enough for Sploot animal hospital. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Upon arrival you will discover that this is no regular veterinary clinic, they provide toys treats and complementary adult snacks. As for the care it’s phenomenal, my youngest dog has really bad anxiety and Sploot has accommodated to my pet in so many ways. Fantastic experience! Best veterinary experience we've ever had. Warm and cozy feeling room. Excellent healthcare and incredibly thoughtful staff. One of my cats peed his crate on the ride over, and the technician, Stephanie, asked me if she could clean his crate and provide dry shampoo for him so he was clean when we left. My other cat was really scared and trying to hide behind the phone. She saw his hiding instincts and immediately went out to find a box where she cut the bottom off so he could crawl into an improvised shelter! And Dr. Berns is so personable and in tune with both the cat's health as well as my concerns as a pet parent! Best veterinarian I've ever had!!! I wish my doctor's visits were half as nice as the care my kitties just received. Not to mention, affordable pricing. I live an hour away, but I will make the trip for any needs my pets have because then they get the best care and I don't have to mortgage my house to ensure they get it. :)

My dog was having an emergency with his eye and I had called 14 other vets without any availability. Sploot was able to see us, thank goodness. The staff is so wonderful and attentive. They pay attention to details and really want to help you without traumatizing your dog, which is vastly different from my last vet. I also felt that both times that we went they did not try to sell us on any additional or unnecessary exams, procedures, medications, that would cost us more $$$. Every vet we had ever been to we felt like we were spending high 3/low 4 figures each time there was in issue but this is not the case at Sploot!! They take their time explaining things in terms that are easy to understand and even provided personal experiences from their own pets at home. Cannot say enough good things about everyone who works here.

I had to take my senior dog to a local ER for neurological issues and pain after recently moving to Denver. They recommended a $550 series of X-rays which felt unreasonable given my dog’s known history of neurological pain, so I got a second opinion at Sploot (they got us in as a new patient within days!). The vet was very thorough in reviewing my dog’s issues; he ultimately suggested against X-rays because they would not change how the pain gets treated. I really appreciate the fact that these folks look out for your both pet and pocket book. The facility is clean, easy to access with lots of street parking, and all employees were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

The staff at Sploot got us an appointment that night to look at him(when other vets said it would take a couple weeks to get him in), and then also got us a referral to an Opthamologist that he desperately needed. I’m very particular about vet offices given a history of very anxious dogs that historically have issues starting at the parking lot. When we went in we were directed straight to our room instead of waiting in the lobby which helps immensely with reactive dogs. The staff all gave our dog time to check them out and moved at his pace. They were able to work with us on how to make sure he has a positive experience his first time instead of pushing him, while also making sure we got all the necessary care. Dr. Berns got onto his level to help him feel comfortable and was able to get a full exam while distracting him with affection. They truly partnered with us to make sure that he had a positive trip and followed up with a text the next day to check in. As someone who normally dreads the vets office they made it a breeze for both me and my dog right from the start!

Sploot has a Fear-Free certified vet on staff, which is what first sold me. The dog-training industry has been evolving & moving to positive reinforcement for quite some time now. Many veterinarians are still a bit behind and operating in a very conventional manner. I am happy to see an establishment that is taking cues from research and updating their approach. Many vets are under so much pressure these days, it is really good to see a practice that is not only trying to make things better for pets & their parents, but for the veterinary staff as well. Our first visit ended up being of a consultative nature and we will be trying out a new food for 30 days to see if we're on the right track. I appreciated that Dr. Saunders offered this approach rather than jumping straight to expensive & possibly unwarranted tests.

My first experience with Sploot was on Valentine's Day when I noticed that my cat wasn't eating normally. I called them and expressed my concerns about his behavior as well as trying to get him an appointment ASAP. They were extremely flexible and understanding as I had to call them back a few times while trying to shuffle my own schedule around. While at the appointment, the Doctor did some bloodwork, x-rays and a general wellness exam to figure out where the issue was stemming from. After the examination, I found out that my cat needed a dental exam/cleaning and the possibility of some teeth being extracted. I made an appointment on Wednesday to undergo what was needed and found out that my cat needed thirteen teeth extracted as well as a biopsy of his gum tissue. I was worried about my cat's recovery as well as awaiting the results of the biopsy that wouldn't be available for at least a week. When I arrived to pick up my cat, the Doctor explained everything that happened during the visit, my cat's current condition as well as the medication that would be needed for aftercare. I was scheduled to pick him up around 6 PM but since there was quite a bit of snowfall, they accommodated my driving concerns and I was able to pick him up around 5:30 PM. All in all, I felt truly taken care of and appreciated for choosing them to help me with my cat's dental issues. They are extremely polite, welcoming and the decor inside is just lovely! I also really liked how when they send you appointment reminders, you are texting with an actual staff member instead of an automated system. It really makes things effortless and personable while trying to reach out about concerns and/or appointments. I was also super happy to find out that they accepted CareCredit since this was an expense that I was not anticipating. If you're on the fence about giving Sploot a try, I recommend giving them a chance to wow you themselves! They certainly impressed me and I will be continuing my veterinary needs with them in the future. Thanks again, Sploot!

After my dog was attacked by another dog today, we were completely traumatized, especially since I noticed a large puncture wound that needed immediate treatment. I have never been here before but thankfully they were open on a Sunday night! When I called, Teya was sooo sincere and empathetic! It was a busy night for them and they still squeezed my dog in for treatment. When I came in, all of the staff were so sweet and helpful- you can tell they love animals! I came in a complete wreck, and they all made me and my dog feel so at ease. Michelle, you are the sweetest and amazing at your job, Teya, thank you for caring sooo much. We were initially impressed by the modern aesthetic, complete with branded toys and a very enticing treat bar. But we were even more enthralled by the friendly staff and excellent care that we and her cavapoo received.
