Brought my dog in for his first visit and to get his annual shots. I also scheduled his dental. The Doc and Vet tech were fantastic and so sweet to my boy. The charges were shared with me prior to anything being done and the facility is large, well maintained and inviting. All of the staff was sweet and friendly.

I have always brought all of my pets here. They do a fantastic job with both cats and dogs. I have always received quick responses and been squeezed in in a timely fashion for "sick" appointments. On the rare occasion that I couldn't be seen within 24 hours of calling (usually weekends) they've prescribed something to help get my fur baby through the weekend so they don't have to have an emergency vet visit before their appointment. Their staff are very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend them to all of my pet parent friends and neighbors.

I adopted a larger breed dog from a rescue and unfortunately she came to me with some hip pain and issues. The rescue was easy to work with and they suggested physical or water therapy. I brought my dog in for an evaluation. Dr. King was wonderful and she created a treatment plan for my dog. I was optimistic that with Dr.King's treatment regime and water therapy my dog could potentially avoid a surgical procedure. I am happy to report that we are about 4-5 weeks into the regime and my dog is doing wonderful. I am very happy with her progress so far.

I have a new cat and we never did get to the appointment because I could not get him into the carrier but my girlfriend goes there and she loves them!! She tells me they even give a senior citizen discount which is the first time I've ever heard of that for a vet anyway they were very nice on the phone but they sure didn't wait very long before they canceled our appointment but I guess I can't blame them I had never been there before but I did it put up a $80 deposit in order to get an appointment... after we were 10 minutes late they called and canceled the appointment and kept my deposit .. didn't find that very amusing...

Dr. Halpern just loves him so much but I got the opportunity to see Dr. In action with so many other patients on 11/28/22 because Jordan had an early morning surgery appointment and she just loves all her patients the same way she is an EXCELLENT DOCTOR. Paradise Animal Hospital is the best Venetian Hospital in Catonsville.

Great staff, very friendly and gentle with my excitable and nervous dog. Post pandemic they have you wait in your car and text them when you arrive then come out to get you so that there’s not a crowd of folks with sick and nervous pets in the waiting room. We have their wellness plan and have found the value WELL worth the investment. While they're not 24 hours, they do make a strong effort to get your pet in asap if they're having time sensitive issues.

I was recommended this vet from my baby boys internist specialist...( which he never needed, but his old vet clearly had no idea how to even begin to help my boy, which I know they caused... anyway Dr. Twardzik ( hope im.spelling correctly) she has been absolutely amazing with my boy Parker, even when hes not been so cooperative and been a grumpy old man... but she always loves on him, she really goes above and beyond to help him. Hes a very special case. And I am beyond impressed with the care and love she has shown to my boy. Not to mention all the vet techs that help out are so good with him and always happy to see him. It makes me so happy to know that she truly cares about him and wants to help him. Something I can say his last vet never did.... which is sad. Once we saw Dr. Twardzik once we never went back. I'm moving my other 2 babies over to paradise as well... from the calls I rereceive to confirm his appointments they are all so nice, from when we pull up and check in. Thank you so much for caring so much about my baby boy. Also, just to note I actually got a call from Dr. Twardzik one night around 7:30 pm on a Friday night. I was shocked and impressed that she just wanted to call and check on him. THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE AT PARADISE ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY SWEET BOY AND MAKING ME FEEL AT EASE THAT HES IN GREAT HANDS.

I've been to about 3 different vets in the Baltimore area before finding this vet because I felt that none of the others treated myself or my pet in a way that made me want to go back. I LOVE this vet office for my two cats and one small dog. Dr. Pound is so amazing and knowledgeable and doesn't shame my pets or me for not keeping up with certain habits. All of the vet assistants are kind and helpful and so gentle with my pets. They are very COVID conscience and do whatever they can to ensure the safety of their staff, pets, and pet parents. They offer military and multiple pet discounts if you bring them in during one appt. I have been recommending this vet to all my friends/coworkers/neighbors because I love them so much. Paradise Animal Hospital is a wonderful caring hospital. We took our sweet Maizee Mae there for surgery and then to say goodbye to her and Dr. Pearson and staff were amazing. They made Maizee's transition peaceful and without pain. We received our sweet girls ashes in a timely manner and a beautiful card signed by all involved. The Paradise Animal Hospital veterinarians are literally lifesavers!! They not once, but TWICE saved my dog's life in 2019. They were incredibly fast to respond to both of my emergency calls, and if it were not for Dr. King and Dr. Pearson, our beloved dog would have tragically died. I love this place every doctor I have seen is so caring and loving toward the animals and they are not just trying to get your money or scam you. They give you all the information about what is going on with your pet in a way that is easy to understand and how much things may cost. They also provide cost friendly alternatives when available. They even call to check up on your pet after procedures or visits and provide advice over the phone if you still have concerns. My cat Stormi has had great care here through a dental surgery and illnesses so I highly recommend.

Dr. Urie is a great vet for all animals specially for exotics. It is very hard to find a vet that does something besides dogs and cats and she is the one to go to. I have 6 rabbits and volunteer for a guinea pig rescue and have taken many of them to her mostly for spays and neuters with zero problems. Can't say enough about her abilities, compassion, advice, and friendliness.

I took my 2 year old cats here for their first visit this past Monday, and I cannot get over what a great experience it was. From the minute we walked in, we got great care and friendly service from everyone encountered. The waiting room was clean and spacious, for the short time we were there. The vet tech/assistant who checked my cats weight before the vet came in was wonderful and gentle, and my usual skittish babies were very relaxed. In fact, I was super impressed with the overall ability of the staff and Dr. Riehl to put my cats at ease. Even when we returned home they were more relaxed than usual, and not traumatized by their first time out of the house AT ALL. Dr. Riehl was kind and very thorough, keeping us informed of what she was doing throughout the entire appointment. Aside from Socks & Mittens being a wee bit chubby, they are perfectly healthy and happy little furballs. for 2 exams, parasite tests/waste disposal, and booster shots, we came out at less than $250, which I think is super reasonable. They're also very close to home. I'm so happy to have found a great local vet practice with great resources, compassionate staff, and awesome facilities.

I arrived at this pet hospital by accident thinking it was the ER location. My cat was very sick, had a UTI and was having trouble breathing. They immediately took her back and did an exam, started her on oxygen, did some x-rays, bloodwork and an ultrasound which revealed a cancerous tumor in her bladder. All of the staff there were so nice and friendly and super accommodating to me. They showed they cared and were professional from start to finish. I was sort of upset and concerned about my pet, but they handled things so well and made me feel comforted, even when and after giving me some bad news.

This is such a wonderful hospital and took me a long time to trust them, I was going to Pender veterinary services in Fairfax Virginia or University of Pennsylvania Ryan Vet Hospital in Philly. I really enjoy somewhere that's really take time out to figure out what's going on. Paradise really wants to help your cat. What I love the most about the staff is that when I was having a complete family meltdown 200 miles away, they made sure my cat lived another week so that I could come home and say good bye.

10 out of 10 recommend. Dr Rieckert is the best! She breaks it all down, she shares all your options with you, and you can tell she truly cares for our pups. If I had any feedback it would be the boarding/pet hotel. They are VERY slow to come out and get your pet/check them. Multiple times I’ve had to call and call just to get someone to realize I was there. Maybe their pre-pandemic drop off is better but now we always arrive 20-30 mins early.

I don't know if it is the staff change or something else. There seemed to be a lot of anxiety with my dog and the care provders both. Hoping next time is better.

The Vets and techs at PAH are highly trained and have terrific bedside manners. They will take care of your pet's hurts and your worries. If your pet needs boarding or therapy, its all under one roof. I don't live close by but the trip is worth the excellence.

I'm writing this while the post-surgery cat is relaxing happily on the recliner while I try to figure out what food she might accept next. We love the care or dog gets at Paradise. We've been going here for over 3 years, with a 9 year old pup. Our dog gets a little crazy around other dogs, and they have always accommodated is as well. The care Paradise head provided her continues to be awesome. The staff have always been friendly, helpful, and remain calm even when the clients are stressed. It feels like they genuinely care. The price feels reasonable on most services as well.

I can’t stop singing praises about this Paradise. In all my years as a pet owner and several Veterinarians I have never come to a place that loves my animals more than I do. The staff here is one of a kind. Friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. When you come here you’re not rushed out the door. Everyone especially the vet will take they time to keep you well informed and make sure your experience is truly unique and all questions answered. There’s a reason for the high reviews and I learned it quickly in just two visits. My first visit I brought in a puppy to get they first health check. I also decided it would be a good idea to accompany that appointment with a adult dog that we rescued that had significant behavioral problems. Although we didn’t have a schedule visit for the second dog the vet and staff still spent a great deal of time addressing the needs of not only our puppy but the other dog as well. Each time I’ve been they make sure to educate me as much as possible as well as provide many resources. I have a house full of pets including cats. I’ve transferred all pets to Paradise and you will never find me going to another veterinarian hospital. Thank you so much Paradise Animal Hospital

Unfortunately, he has had to have multiple visits to the vet... and when he started getting nervous they incorporated ‘happy visits’ into his routine, which totally minimized his nervousness. Dr. Pound is so wonderful! She was so kind and caring towards my old lady cat. She walked me through various treatment options for my cat's ear tumor and was so patient in answering all of my questions. She didn't push me to do anything and just wanted to make sure I had all the information needed to make the decision I felt was best for my pet. This place also has much more reasonable prices. I had an exam, vaccine, and medicine purchase and paid well under $200. My previous vet visits at another place were always well over $300. Will definitely be coming back!

Love them and the wide range of hours means the world to me, especially with my crazy schedule. They treat our pets amazingly and we feel really cared for. Very honest doctors who don't try and push medicine or expensive procedures unless truly necessary. Great place! My doggy who has some leg issues at times and has a hard time walking, they always take good care of him at the pet hotel. Many other places say they take disabled dogs but they don’t. This place does and none of the staff act like you or your fur baby is bothering or inconveniencing them. This is the only place my doggy doesn’t mind going and staying. They treat him like family. The one place I trust they will love him and take good care of my fur baby. Highly recommend!!

We have been coming here for years and love it. We feel like our critters are really cared about and they really listen to you, especially since you know your babies best. While prices seem to have gone up a little lately, they are always very upfront with costs and offer different options when available. Clean and friendly facility with awesome hours. We've used their pet hotel for one of our cats and we had great experiences with that too. Paradise has really gotten us through some times and I highly recommend them.

All of the veterinarians and techs at Paradise Animal hospital are amazing. I have 2 dogs and a cat who all absolutely LOVE Dr. Halpern. She was amazing when one of the first times I met her with a cat (Mimosa) who both threw up and pooped in her crate on the WAY TO the vet. She helped clean her up and from that day on, we have scheduled appointments specifically to see her every time. I have moved away and come back specifically for her care and compassion. 100% recommend!

The vet and staff were very caring and professional. It was very obvious that they are all pet lovers. They were extremely sensitive to my blind diabetic dog and made every effort to make him comfortable. Our cat is less than friendly with vets and techs, other places we have visited insist on gassing her before even taking the first look. Dr Thacker and her staff do everything in their power to treat our cat with out the need to put her to sleep, which we appreciate so very much. They are very thorough, and have taken the time to understand our cats special needs. A year ago they performed dental surgery on her, it went without any issue and she is has been a much happier feline ever since. We'd recommend this practice to any one looking for a vet that takes the time to know your animal, and thoroughly explain the diagnosis/treatment.

Two days ago, I went for a walk, and a sweet little cat adopted me. So I brought them here. I had read a lot of mixed reviews about every other vets and animals hospitals in the Baltimore area, and while some of the bad ones can be chalked up to grumpy people who don't understand their animals, I wanted to make sure my new kitty's first vet experience was the best. I had called numerous other vets, trying to get an appointment to learn if this kitty has been micro-chipped, to get them looked at, and most importantly, the sex! Everywhere else offered me 4-14 days of waiting. Paradise got me in in under 24 hours. From the moment I walked in the door, they were attentive, kind, and most of all had excellent customer service. Isabel at the front desk helped us with our paperwork, and even remember the details of my flustered phone call the day before. The nurse, I think his name was Ryan, had a very soothing style that put my cat at ease. He explained all the ins and outs, and most importantly, asked if I was on a budget, and what tests and initial procedures we wanted to have done. The vet, Dr. B was kind and doted on our skinny cat, and offered excellent care, and customer service. She answered all of my silly first-time-cat-parent questions, and was very patient with me and my cat, and found the best ways to interact with him (snacks!) While they certainly aren't a bargain vet, Paradise Animal Hospital seems to offer the best care, customer service, and efficiency you can dream of with regards to companion animal healthcare.

I've yet to find a better group of veterinarians than Paradise. Their skill and compassion are unparalleled. The doctors will sit on the floor with you and your pet to discuss the problems and solutions as long as you need. They've saved my dog's life three times - so far. The only thing that keeps them from five stars is that the front office is pretty scattered. Prescriptions frequently don't get phoned in, specifically. But, the staff is very friendly and seem to enjoy the work. I'll recommend them to anyone.

Everyone is nice and friendly. They take great care of my dog and it is in a very convenient location for us. The facility is clean and well-equipped. I am pleased with how easy and quickly they can see us. There are times when they have been a bit disorganized in record keeping such as the vaccine scheduling but that is sorted out after a few discussions with the doctor and myself.. Overall I am happy to take my dog there.

They made sure I knew everything about why she needed surgery how much everything would cost all my options all possible outcomes and possible future expenses. I've been bringing my pets here ever since I moved back to the Baltimore area about 3 years ago, and with every visit I like them more and more. My dogs have seen a few different doctors at the office and they've all been excellent. Dr. Hain has been amazing with my very large, strong, and anxious dog nephew--he's usually freaking out at the vet but he likes her so much he sits in her lap and actually lets her give him shots (at previous vet offices he had to be restrained by 6, yes 6, techs to get shots). I recently adopted a new dog and a few nights ago she got in a fight with my old dog over a bone that resulted in a late night visit to the emergency vet. The emergency vet must have sent a record of my visit to Paradise and the next morning Dr. King called me to follow up and make sure my dogs are doing okay, and to make sure I'm okay because she rightly guessed that I was pretty shaken up and upset about the whole incident. I'm really impressed that they care enough to reach out to their clients after a visit to another vet office to make sure everything is alright. I also think their prices are very reasonable! I used to be a vet tech in West Virginia, and usually everything is cheaper in WV, but Paradise's prices are actually the same or better. They've also recommended an excellent dog behaviorist to me, and I've been very pleased with that recommendation.

I've had a good experience every time I've been there but felt like reporting on how great they were today. I took my two dogs, who hate everyone, in for their annual visit. There was a tornado warning so they had to usher everyone to the basement. Due to my dogs difficulty with everyone, they put us in a corner away from everyone else. I'm not sure how many animals needed to be shuffled around but everyone was so kind and calm it didn't seem like anything big was going on. I was even offered water. Dr. Brooke (the best!) even came around and told entertaining stories about tornadoes being no big deal in the mid west. After the warning expired, we went back upstairs, my babies got checked, and we were on our way. Everyone at Paradise was so kind and professional during, what could have been a very serious situation. If you're looking for a smooth, usually quick and friendly experience, this is the vet for you!

She has a great staff, and I can say they have always went the extra mile. I’ve had pets my whole adult life, by far Paradise Animal Hospital is the BEST in Catonsville, MD!! Our Maile (Miley) has been with them since she was a pup, the last 2 years. As she is a lab, we’ve been there more than our annual check-ups…LOL. With that said, between Dr. Pound, the Ashleys’, Katelyn, Courtney, Sydney and Laura our experiences has always been kind, friendly, professional and most important genuine!!! I was placed in a pickle today, Maile would not apply any pressure on her left paw. She was not active and wasn’t herself for over 24 hrs. I called this morning worried and knowing with COVID-19, she probably would not be seen until Friday or next Monday. Without fail, Sydney checked to see what they could do. Although, we didn’t have an appointment & if “I was willing” I could bring Maile in and she would stay until one of the doctors could see her between appointments. I was willing! Keep in mind this may be an all-day affair. Also, I recognized that they were willing to try an alternative way to help Maile for her best interest, in these confusing times. I am grateful & she patiently to be seen, vet without me. One, I knew she wasn’t stressed and two if anything she was in the best place if anything did go wrong. Without skipping a beat, Maile had the best day at Paradise Animal Hospital!!!!! She was there from 10:00 am to 5:05 pm. Their willingness to try every avenue and care for my sweet baby is extraordinary. I checked in around 2:00 pm for a status and Ashely check on Maile for me. Courtney took my call for pick-up and confirmed and reviewed all the chargers, because while Maile was there she received her annual exam. Katelyn brought Maile out to the truck and was detailed in giving me instructions regarding Maile’s medication. Dr. Pound (Who we love regardless) called me three times to make sure she was reviewing and assessing Maile with the most accurate information. There is no other Vet or Animal Hospital compared!!! I've been going to Paradise Animal Hospital for 5 years. A year ago we adopted Charlie, a rescue dog with medical issues, and he required many visits to Paradise Animal Hospital and a specialist vet. This made Charlie frightened to go anywhere in the car, because it usually resulted in him staying at the vet or being restrained for a procedure. Dr Thacker and vet tech Tim have been working with Charlie on "happy visits" where Charlie spends time at Paradise Animal Hospital being pet and fed treats. At the second happy visit Dr Thacker was able to trim Charlie's nails without him even noticing. They really care for your pets like their own, and they're willing to work with you and your pet's unique needs. We love Paradise Animal Hospital, and Charlie now loves his visits there.

They have the latest technology and therapeutics that include a water therapy pool, physical therapy, laser therapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture. I have seen these therapists work miracles! We have used Paradise Animal Hospital for 11 years for our Corgi/Papilliom mix rescue dog Ein's check-ups and surgeries (when he needs them). The staff is friendly, caring and professional, from the reception at the door, the vet tech, phatmacist and vet. They keep Ein thriving from his younger to his older years. Dr. Haine diagnosed and treated an immunological problem that inexplicably affected his joints, another vet noticed dental problems when he was younger, and recently, Dr. King diagnosed a mass and successfully removed the cancer. We appreciate that appointments are available on Saturday and Paradise continues to expand their available services. At our last visit (March 2020), we were told they now have an online pharmacy to streamline prescriptions and refills. Additionally, we have had good experience with Paradise's boarding services. At the pet hotel, Ein is walked daily to provide exercise for a reasonable fee. When we were unsure whether or not we would need to board the dog during an emergency, we were told that Ein would be able to be boarded in a specific emergency area even though he hadn't had the necessary vaccination against kennel cough. While our dog may not like going to the vet, the staff and services provided at Paradise Animal Hospital have been instrumental in helping us keep Ein happy and healthy throughout these years.

I love how attentive everyone was to our dogs. They really did their best to make them feel comfortable during the exam, since my doggies are usually pretty scared at the vet. They gave them treats and even got down the door to do the exam for the bigger one who hates being picked up. And, on top of that, they really know their stuff. Our dog had some problem with his paws being itchy and he would always bite them which we were always told was just allergies. Here the vet recommended some different solutions in case it was actually mites, which no one had ever suggested before.

The staff are very nice as are the vets. I received some some good advice for some preventative care for my rabbit who has recurring dental issues. Convenient...I can always get an appointment with a reasonable amount of time. The prices are a bit better than other vets in the area. I like that they tell me what options there are for treatment for my pet and how much each will cost.

My experience was different! Judah's Doctor is at another office. It seemed as if this office was trying to get me to purchase every single thing including shots that Judah did not need and grooming that was not necessary. At some point I had to just stop, because the bill was becoming overwhelming. I normally spend 145 to $160...had I not stopped all the questioning for the unnecessary shots and treatments, my bill would have been well over $300. I spent $260 plus dollars way too much! I have got to find the location to Judah's previous Doctor. I felt like I was being bamboozled, very disappointing.☹️☹️☹️

The initial consult really shows you that they truly care about the overall health and well being of your fur baby animal friend. They saw her immediately, gave her medicine for pain, and called us with their assessment. Because they were very busy, the vet took her into surgery during her lunch break!
