Never really had issues with them when I brought in my cat. Last seen in January, told that his labs looked great. Vet was more concerned about his nails and flea prevention (cat is solely indoor, and I am not outdoorsy). No mention of dental issues. Went to a new vet yesterday due to new concern/having moved, was told that my cat has advanced dental disease with broken/missing teeth, and a canine being reabsorbed. This is not something that happens over 8 months. New vet saw in his Main St note from the last visit that he had noted "2/4 dental" which meant there was disease noted. Cats don't let you inspect their mouths readily, so we have to trust what we are told regarding their health. To fail to inform the owner of something like that, which will now cost me about $1300 to remedy, is a massive oversight.

We brought our cat Maevis in for her annual exam and vaccinations. It was easy to schedule the appointment without too much lead time. The visit was still under Covid restrictions with the lobby still closed. However, it was easy to navigate. You park, call to notify you've arrived and one individual with pet is escorted in to exam room. Good techs and doctors. Polite, competent and excellent demeanor with pet. Our cat was handled with care and compassion in a quick and efficient visit. It was not stressful for the pet or me. Highly recommended! 8/29/22 It was our annual wellness visit which included a vaccine booster. It was a clean facility with courteous staff. Dr. Mason and assistant were also excellent with our cat and were able to answer all of our questions.

This place is amazing and wonderful. I brought my elderly pitbull here and she was taken care of and the bill wasn't outrageous like other vet care faculties. I would highly recommend using this vet. I will definitely be bringing my furbabies back here. 👍 Edit: I brought my baby here on Dec 5th 2022 to be put down because of health issues and the people here at this place were amazing. They went above and beyond to see that my baby girl was comfortable in her last stages of life and didn't rush the process. These people are amazing and I want to thank them. ❤️ 🙏 RIH Phoenix Bear. Love this place- affordable, friendly and they get it done when other vet clinics can't. Recently microchipped and updated all shots for my 5 month old Rottweiler who never leaves my side and has bad separation anxiety- their experienced staff led her into the clinic (we had to stay outside bc of COVID-19 precautions) and she didn't cry once! They came back out and said she was very well behaved the entire time. I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else. They were also a huge help when my husband's 16 year old little terrier mix started having back to back seizures; turned out the had fluid buildup in his lungs and after treatment with 2 medications he was like new! Highly recommend this clinic for all your vet needs.

This is a tough review because I think the vets and care are the best. But the prices are out of control, or I should say not nearly as affordable as before, but what is. I got a dog while I was in Florida, the vet where I had her checked out said the dental would be about $1,000-$1,200. I almost returned her because I wasn't going jump in knowing I'd have that kind of expense right off the bad. Called Dr. Molesworth's office and they told me the cost of their dental. I wasn't surprised that it was so much more affordable. Because of that, we kept the dog and she is great. Now, I have to balance the cost with care. Not trying to sound cruel, but as much as we love her, a dog is not a person. But, I want to go back and say that the care there is great. Main Street, I know you are under new and more corporate ownership, but you need to get back to your roots. Or, maybe enough people don't care what they pay so you're making your money and if people can't afford you, its fine if they go elsewhere.

Seen quickly by Dr. Nabozny. Exam was very through as we adopted a dog that was dropped at shelter in middle of the night and we had very little health information. X-rays taken, results discussed, blood drawn and meds given. Received follow up call next day to go over blood work. Very pleased with care!

We were able to get in quickly with my new dog, Chia, who I just adopted from BARCS. The staff was wonderful. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that I was not contacted with the results of the heartworm test. I had to call for them. Now I know and will do it automatically next time.

Having pets throughout my entire life, I have had experiences with many different veterinarian’s offices. Main Street Vet Hospital ranks at the absolute top of the list, and it is not even close. Always super friendly, and I feel they genuinely care about the health/well being of my animals, not just my money. Their level of customer service is truly unmatched! From my house is about an hour drive and I make that drive once a month for my pets that’s how amazing this place is! Keep doing what you guys are doing! (:

I highly recommend Main Street vets. I have been going there for close to 15 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets. They are kind and go above and beyond to help during stressful situations, without breaking the bank. Dr. Nabozny is my go to but I’d trust any of the vets. We have been bringing our two boxers there since we got them. We have always had a good experience. This past time the vet was very thorough and in addition to their routine check up took a careful look at our one dog's leg just to make sure everything was okay! I am currently 6 months pregnant and had our 3 year old son with us and everyone was so helpful with our pups especially when we have a 92 pound boxer afraid of the vet!

I went to get shots for a puppy. The puppy had been started on heartworm and I asked to get some to continue with the preventative because the medication I have is for full grown adults. The vet tech said that they would give me a puppy pack but I never received it. The clinic was not overly busy at the time so I don't know why they forgot to give it to me. I live on the other side of town and it was pouring down rain and I encountered two wrecks within five minutes of leaving so I could not turn around and go back. The employees were friendly but they need to be better organized.

I'm generally pleased with Main St. Vet's service and prices, but I feel I was encouraged to get a pretty expensive blood test for my dog without being fully apprised of the cost and the need. It was recommended that I get the test since my dog will need a teeth cleaning sooner than later. However, I now recall that the blood test is generally suggested for older dogs, but mine is only around 7 years old. When I got the $260 charge for just the blood test, I felt I could've been made more aware of the true need and cost. Otherwise, my experiences with MSV have been very positive.

This office has been amazing to work with. I recently adopted a dog and the rescue said the dog was up to date on all vaccinations. It ends up she wasn't, and she had Parvo and Kennel cough. This office saw us immediately. The staff was so friendly. My dog ended up having to be hospitalized. The office called to check on her during everything and checked on her once we had her back home too. I'm very happy that we found this office.

Dr. Han is amazing! She is the ONLY vet that you should see at Main Street. My dog recently had surgery there and another vet did not stitch her properly. We had to go back in for staples. This has been a very difficult time for our fur baby and the mistake increased her healing time. Dr. Han and the office staff is amazing. If she is not performing the procedure, walk out for the sake of your animal.

He is always caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Prices are also reasonable and we thank you for that. Because vet care can get expensive quick. Dr Mclveen is very personable and the dogs loved her. I was allowed to go inside with my dogs this time, which I appreciated. I was taken in within 10 minutes of my appointment time and seen quickly which was a welcome improvement from pre-pandemic times. All the staff were friendly. I rated it one less star due to the somewhat breathtaking cost of the visit, which for 2 dogs lasted only 15-20 minutes total. There was a very minimal increase for the cost of the vaccines from a year ago but they're now taking Simparica Trio and a 6 month supply for both dogs is >$300. Just be forewarned. I've been a client at Main Street Vet for 14 years.

I feel terrible about leaving this negative response because I really like Main Street Veterinarian Hospital,and it is the only place that I will take my dog ŹUES .However I took him to get his nails cut FRIDAY and they were terrible and huge snags and hang nails snagging the carpet, the bed blankets ,justevetything his feet touched. I feel he got a rush job and it would have taken just a few minutes to have used the grinder and smoothed the nails properly. I will not stop going there,however I hope he gets a better job next visit.Glad you asked,now I won't have to have the awkward conversation about our negative experience on our next visit.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because I thought they charged to much to clip my dogs nails. I didn’t think it was going to be $15 it only takes a min or 2.plus my dog just sits there and lets you do it. So no trouble for them. If I had knew it was that much I would of never got it done. I have never been charged more then $5 to have her nils clipped, any where. Other wise I think they do an excellent job. I would still recommend this place highly. The vets are really good here and take there time to explain in detail about your dog or cat. I think they should tell you that it’s going to be $15 before they cut the dogs nails. I clip them my self all the time but I thought I just let them do it while they have her back there. Well never do that again. I guess it is part my fault to. I should of ask how much to clip the nails. Oh well. Great vets here.

These folks have a work ethic that is phenomenal. They have evening hours and if you've got an urgent situation they will see your pet on a Saturday. The veterinary staff, as well as the vets themselves are very committed to the welfare of animals. Very open to questions. They want to help you take the best care of your pet so they invest the time it takes to educate their clients. Our dog, Dakota has been going here for about 7 years and she has only gotten the best care from Main Street. We just got a grey & white cat from BARCS and we feel very confident that Yuuki will also receive the best care.

When I went recently, there was a new doctor that treated my cat. Her sounds like he's from the south. He was very friendly and helpful. As mentioned by others, I too am surprised by the negative reviews. I’ve been bringing my pets here for years and have always had excellent care. I’ve recommended this veterinary office to many others and they were happy. Excellent doctors. They took wonderful care of my elderly cat as she suffered through kidney disease. I called after hours when she took a turn for the worse and the doctor called me back right away. He even offered to meet me at the office. (My kitty passed before I get her there, but she was 18 years old and had been sick for a long time.) I will continue to take my pets there, even though it’s quite far from home. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Yes, there’s often a longish wait, but don’t you usually have to wait for a good doctor? I don’t mind waiting for good medical care for my pets, or myself. These people care and they’re more reasonably priced than most vets. I’m so glad I found them!

Great Dr's and staff. We drive 1 hour one way to have our animals neutered. They are well taken care of and the price is hundreds of dollars less than local vets. My local vet always tries to up sell me o. So many prilocedures, and this vet never tries to sell a bunch of unnecessary procedures. Good solid old school vet!!

We have taken our dogs/cats here for years. Dr.'s Nabozny and Han have given them expert care and are very pleasant to deal with. Prices are also reasonable. We had to see another vet due to Covid pandemic and they just did not measure up to the experience we receive at Main Street.

It took about 10 minutes for a technician to come out. I thought she was getting my dog but instead I had to fill out two papers and she would come back. I had to wait another 10 minutes and a different technician was at another client so I gave her my papers. About 5 minutes more, someone came to get my dog. My dog was inside for about 9 minutes and then brought out. I handed my gal my charge card and she said “Oh no. Someone else will come out a get your payment.”Then I had to wait about 20 minutes. As I was just starting with this doctor. I would have liked to meet her!! There was a lot of wasted time.

The staff in this Veterinary Hospital truly loves animals. My cat had a cancerous growth on his neck that required two surgeries and the staff was amazing. The doctor was amazing and even after the surgery she called to see how my cat was doing. Upon leaving the hospital they place a rug in my cats animal carry all that could have been placed on the floor of my home. Two thumbs up to this facility.

I found this Vet office on accident actually trying to look up another one up the road my family goes to for their pets. Im moving soon to the area so I needed a new place for my babies to go closer to our new home so I followed the GPS and I’m familiar with the area and was so confused where it was taking me until I arrived and realized I made an appointment at the wrong place lol. I figured I’m already here, might as well try it out I’m only here for some shots and it’s during Covid so I can’t even come inside and check out the place. The tech came out and was super friendly, did some paperwork, grabbed my dog and away they went. Not even 10 minutes later he’s back, up to date on shots, ears cleaned, and even got the toenails done which he is NOT a fan of and he was happy as can be! Just 2 months later we decided to get a puppy so I figured I’d take him to the same place and we could actually go inside this time. Cute friendly place, well kept, the wait wasn’t too long for the vet to come in, and it was a smooth easy visit. My puppy is afraid of his own shadow and Dr. McKlveen was just the nicest lady ever! I couldn’t ask for a better person to be our vet, gave him a bunch of treats was sooo sweet to our baby Tank and he was an angel the whole time no fear at all! Both her and the tech were awesome to say the least and answered every question I had while I was there. This place will definitely be our go to now for all of our animals I’m even going to switch our cats to the same place.

27 years I have been taking my dogs to Main Street. There is no better general veterinary care for your dog (and probably cat) than at Main Street. In addition, the fees are very reasonable -- no nickle and dimming you. I do not agree with the complaints about the staff. They are usually helpful and polite, but I would gladly put up with nasty staff to get the quality care that Dr. Molesworth and the other vets provide. I have to revise my evaluation of Main Street veterinary hospitals since Dr. Molesworth left the prices have skyrocketed. You no longer can you bring an emergency in at any time. You must get an appointment. I still like the doctors but I’m not very satisfied with the new management. I’m considering looking for a new veterinary practice.

This vet is absolutely the best. My fiancé and I just moved to the area, and our cat began having issues peeing, so we ended up taking him to another vet. This vet left us with a $1000 dollar bill to tell us that he was fine. When we got our cat home, he was even sicker than before. We took him to Main St Vet and within 5 minutes Dr Molesworth was able to tell us that our cat had a urinary obstruction, which the first vet failed to see and can also be fatal to cats within a few hours. The staff and Dr Molesworth took amazing care of our baby, and after 3 days they discharged him. Not only do we have our kitty back, but Dr Molesworth knew we had been through a lot and cut us a huge huge break on the bill. We cannot be more appreciative of this, and we will absolutely be using Main St Vet from now on. Please take your pets here, they are amazing all around and will take amazing care of your babies.

This place is excellent; I've been seen both by Dr. Molesworth and by one of his assistant vets. Both took excellent care of my animals. They've done well with both surgeries and correcting skin issues, which can be difficult to diagnose and correct. I never understand why there are complaints about the staff, they've been extremely helpful with me. They've exceeded expectations, being thorough and careful with prescriptions, even mailing them to me when requested. They've always been very polite. I think some people may complain because this clinic is always extremely busy, and is not as upscale as some others. However, the prices and care can't be beat. I drive an hour to see this vet, and am happy to do it. Anybody that needs a prettier office and their hand held...and is willing to pay 2-3 times as much without receiving better care to get it.....should avoid this place and drive down to where I live instead.

The vets in this practice are great, but I never seem to see the same one twice. I don't complain because I need nights and weekends hours, which they have. The care has always been good. Some of the staff are so compassionate and friendly, others seem burned out and grouchy. I get listening to barkng dogs all day can get old. Their rates seem a bit high, but again convenience factor. Your pet is in good hands.

She is a compassionate doctor who takes her time and explains everything so that you can understand it. I've never felt rushed through my appointment. Dr. Han is a real asset to this practice, along with the other doctors and staff. Pat Director I have been taking my dogs to Main Street Vet, Dr. Molesworth for appox 30 years, we were saddened when Dr. Molesworth retired a year ago....some new vets took over the practice and it was not like before, however my last fur baby Jazzy was 15 and 1/2 years old, we knew the day was coming that we would have to help her to the Rainbow Bridge, in the mean time we made many calls to vets in our area of Anne Arundel County and they all quoted anywhere from $500.00 to $600.00 dollars, just by chance this past Monday my husband called Main Street and explained to them that it was time for Jazzy and we had to make that dreaded decision, when asked what their charge would be to help her to the bridge, have her cremated alone and her ashes given back to us they quoted a very reasonable price of $250.00, I can only say Thank God for a veterinary practice that is not all about the money, since my husband and I are on fixed incomes, this was a Blessing and today we received a card from the doctor and staff of Main Street Veterinary Hospital, I would give them 5 stars on the care of animals. My first visit was just a couple of days ago. My cat is 16 and I really thought, based on similar symptoms I'd seen in my previous elderly cats, that she was a goner. Dr. Molesworth did not allow me to give up so fast!! He quickly assessed, diagnosed and treated her. I have been going to Main Street for some time. I like the doctors here. When I lost my Lab years ago, the doctor sent a sympathy card. That was very nice. My current dog is 4 years old. This week he went in for a distemper shot. They have changed things around since I last went. I usually don't have to wait an hour or so from start to finish, but my only displeasure here has always been the front desk staff. I watched this front desk person hand an older lady her credit card, dropped it while handing it to her, picked it up and made sure it was in her hand. When I paid with my card, once she swiped it, my card was put on the counter. And they always do that. I think that is very RUDE. If I hand you something in your hand, that is the way that I want it back. But other than that, the doctors are nice and have been very good about making my pets feel better when they were sick.

I can't say enough great things about Main Street!! Dr. Molesworth and his staff are the best in vet care around. My family and I have been with Main Street Vet since the 80's. As an adult, I moved to the East-side of the beltway. I've tried many Vet Hospitals for my dog and cat but NONE could stand up to the caring dedication and outstanding knowledge of Main Street Vet Hospital. I will travel the 35-40 minutes for what I know to be the best care around. Not to mention, they are cheaper than the other vets I have tried!!! They are truly there for your animals.

Great vet, however I do wish they had an updated website. We were in a panic after finding out our cat needed emergency gall bladder stone removal surgery asap. On a Saturday we called over 15 vets in the area and none of them were open on Sunday except for Main Street. They kept us updated throughout the whole process and gave us details notes and care instructions post surgery. Along with the great customer service and follow up they were the best priced for the procedure. We couldn't be happier with them and will continue to use Main Street as our main vet.

Dr Molesworth took my kitty Luna in last minute on a Saturday for an overnight stay. She was having trouble breathing. He took the time to show me her X-ray before I left that evening. I recently switched to Main Street Veterinary Hospital after going to a different vet for over 15 years. I was very happy with the way all of the staff interacted with me and my two elderly cats (they are both 15). The wait for my first appointment was a little long, but the appointment was at the end of the day, and I don't mind waiting for excellent service. Dr. Tammy Han saw my first cat (who is hyperthyroid), and was very patient and understanding about our concerns about him. She was soothing to him, talking to him as she examined him and trying to keep him calm. She then asked if we wanted to do blood work (our former vet almost demanded it), and let me stay in the room with my cat as she and tech drew his blood. The tech was also very soothing as they drew blood. To top this off, the appointment (with the blood work and some medication for my cat) was very affordable. Encouraged by this experience, I brought my second cat for an appointment the following week. This cat hasn't been to the vet in probably 9 years (she never had any issues, where my other cat has had many over the years). This appointment was in the middle of the day, and there was next to no wait time. We saw Dr Dechpiaruk. She also listened to my concerns (I didn't have many). Dr. Dechpiaruk gave my cat a clean bill of health and then suggested two services that my cat may need, but it was my choice. She gave us price estimates for the services (a dental cleaning and an immunization). I never felt pressured in any way. This appointment was also very affordable. I am very satisfied with my experiences at Main Street Vet, and highly recommend them to any one looking for a caring and affordable option for pet care.

Dr. Molesworth has treated all my dogs and cats for over 25 years. He is one of the best vets I have ever found and I recommend him highly. I always refer everyone I know to him, but with a few warnings. Appointments can get backed up at times but there are often emergencies. A few times over the years some of my animals have been the emergency, so I understand and wait. The biggest problem with this animal hospital is its reception staff. They always seem to be overly busy and can be very impatient and extremely rude at times. They need to either hire better people or more people because the customer service they provide is not good. I overlook this and still go there because the care that Dr. Molesworth and the vet staff provide is the best veterinary care that I have been able to find, however you do need to be able to tolerate the front desk staff.

Evernthough they are 45 mintues away from our home, it is worth the travel. I’m sorry some of you had bad experience at Mainstreet Vetnarian. I am always happy with each visit, they’re the most reasonable Vetnarian around. I travel 50 minutes and it’s worth every minute. I remember first time I was lost and front desk had me on the phone until I found the place. sometimes I wonder how they manage such busy place..front desk women are amazing . They’re running the place smooth as they can. We see doctor Judith each time. She’s so gentle and loving. I take both pups there and no the bills are not high. Best veterinary ever !! Dr molesworth saved our dogs back Leg from amputation when 5 other hospitals could not repair it.they had no clue as to where to begin to help our dog after she was hit by a car.her belly ripped wide open her back Leg shattered and Dr molesworth and his staff r absolutely fantastic!!! My dog was there over 3 weeks and we were surprised at how low the entire bill was.in fact my husband said I think u have the wrong bill that can't b correct she's been here 3 weeks . sure enough it was right we still can't believe how excellent this place and people are!!! I'm not gonna say exactly our bill total but I will tell u under $600 yes I said under$600 for 3 weeks . I won't ever take my pets anywhere else ever. I love the staff at Main Street Veterinary Hospital, and I have an especially soft spot for Dr. Molesworth. He has a way with my dogs that defies explanation and belief (I have a very particular female Doberman and a goofy young male German Shepherd). However, prior to this young Shepherd, I rescued an adult male shepherd, estimated to be about 4-5 years old when he came into my life. Only a few short years later, he was diagnosed with cancer. I was devastated, as this boy had been through a lot in his life already, but had only been in mine for about 4 years at the time of his diagnosis. I was talked through a variety of options and treatments and non-treatments, and things were thoroughly explained to me as best as could be. I felt empowered by the information provided to me by the doctors at Main Street instead of feeling grief over such a diagnosis. As it turned out, after deciding to give chemo a shot for this loving boy, not only did I get another 16 months out of him (I was told it may help to spend an additional 9-12 months), but he "bounced back" to a seemingly youthful, playful, goofy Shepherd. Unlike the chemo humans are given, the treatment provided for my four-legged family member actually afforded us all extended quality time together, with minimal moments of "tough days" and lots and lots of wonderful time to make memories before his passing. I give an awful lot of the credit to the gentle, considerate care we received from the staff and doctors at Main Street. Hopefully by now, it is needless to say that I highly recommend this wonderful animal hospital to anyone who is looking for a quality care establishment for your furry, feathered, or otherwise family members!

My cat, Milo, and I are visiting MD from out of state. After returning from a family vacation yesterday (Saturday) evening, Milo had a very droopy tail, wouldn’t let me touch it, or even pick him up. I immediately started panicking because most vets are closed on Sundays, and I’m unfamiliar with the area. A quick google search led me to Main Street Veterinary Hospital- I called first thing Sunday morning and was able to come in right away. Between the front desk staff and Dr. Alper, the staff did an incredible job. The staff was timely, thorough, efficient, and compassionate. Not to mention, our visit was VERY reasonably priced!! These folks take care of your pet and they don't charge an arm and a leg! In April, we had to put down a dog family member who was with us for 13 years. They were very professional and even sent us a bill instead of making us pay for the service when we were distraught about our loss. They even sent us a sympathy card in the mail! When I took my older dog in for a DHL and Lyme disease booster, they did not gouge me for an exam fee on top of the medications. These folks are great vets - compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and reasonable with the billing. I highly recommend them and will be using them for years to come!

I've been going to Main Street for 8 years with our dog. Of the three vets and 2 pet clinics I've visited over the years, MSV is the best by far. I've seen each of the vets and they are all very reasonable. I also get prescription medications through them. The one down side is that they can be insanely busy and sometimes you'll be on hold for a few minutes when you call. Good problem to have. Would highly recommend.

After taking my dog to multiple other vets offices and leaving with an undiagnosed medical condition, thousands of dollars spent for nothing, and a still very sick dog, we went to Main Street and they figured it out in one visit. I had adopted a kitten from this vets office that I had found on a Harford county website. They told me that the kitten would be spayed for free once she hit 6 months. Can't beat that! A kitten and a free spay? wow! Anyway, 6 months came and I took her to be taken care of and get her shots up to date along with ear mites and fleas. Went back the next day to pay my bill and it was ALL FREE!! I was so happy to say the least because money has been tight since losing my job. But, I never mentioned that to her. The Dr is amazing! THANK YOU 100%!! this place is very, very busy! I can say that the staff could be a bit more friendly and little less rude. But then I see when they are busy it can be a bit crazy. I will start by saying the prices Dr. Molesworth charges can't be beat. He is a great vet and truly cares about the animals, but he's the only good thing about this place. Receptionists and vet techs are rude, lazy, and unprofessional. I wish Dr. Molesworth would see how bad the place has become. It smells the minute you walk in the door, the wait is out of control to see any vet, and I have never had a prescription ready for pick up when I've called it in. Also, despite ordering the exact same medicine each month, the price can vary up to $80 without any explanation.

Dr. Molesworth has taken care of our labs for over 30 years. He has seen them through puppyhood and old age when they no longer would eat or drink and needed to be put to sleep. He has always given us the best advice. When he has not been available the other Vets have met his standard of care. The rest of the staff has always been helpful and kind to the dogs and the waiting area and treatment room meet high standards of cleanliness. Any doggie accident has always been cleaned by personnel immediately.

I have owned multiple pets all my life. I have taken my dogs and cats to Main Street Veterinary Hospital since 1983 when Dr. Ed Molesworth gave me second opinion after another vet told me my dog had heartworm. Dr. Molesworth determined he did not. He later saved his life with emergency surgery for gastric torsion and shock. In 1993, after moving to Towson, I tried taking a new rescue to Falls Rd which is much closer to my home. Unfortunately Dr. Hammond told me personally the dog had heartworm. I left and took Rags immediately to Dr. Molesworth, who determined he did not have heartworm. I will now never go anywhere but Main Street. Main Street vets have consistently provided my pets with outstanding, honest and compassionate veterinary care for fair prices. I will never take my pets anywhere else. The health of my animals is well worth the drive!!!!! After reading other reviews, I would like to address some other comments about wait time and staff. Emergencies can back up appointments. Be patient, if it's your pet that needs immediate care, you will appreciate their flexibility in triaging sick pets ahead of routine vaccinations. The staff are trained vet techs who are skilled at what they do but multitask at reception. I have never had a negative interaction Again, please appreciate the skill with which they treat and handle your beloved pets. They are busy but always put the pets first.

Main Street Veterinary has been my vet of choice for over ten years because they've been able to diagnose illnesses that other vets missed. They are also the best value dollar-wise, an important feature for multi-pet households. There have been many times when I thought the bill was going to be sky-high and was pleasantly surprised when it came time to pay. First off, you do have to wait in the waiting room for a while but the service and cost CANNOT be beat. It is worth the wait! My dog had a serious leg injury this month requiring stitches and an overnight stay. It was after 6pm but they took her back immediately and including medications the cost was - wait for it - $91 !!!!! Isn't that amazing? At Falls Road Animal Hospital I am certain it would have been thousands of dollars. Dr. Molesworth is without a doubt most skilled and caring vet in town, I have no idea how he keeps cost so low. I have been going there for 20 years and he and his other vets have dealt with a wide range of issues with accuracy care and always affordably.

I have been bringing my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to Main Street Vet for more than 12 years. Dr Molesworth is simply put, THE BEST. He is a superb vet with outstanding clinical skills and judgment. He does not perform unnecessary tests yet is able to diagnose and treat serious problems. One of my dogs has heart failure and they are supposed to live only 1.5 years after diagnosis. he is well now 3 + years! If the dogs have a problem that I think is serious, an appointment is always available. While you may wait a little while to see Dr Molesworth, it is by all measures worth it. Finally, there is not a more cost conscious vet ANYWHERE.

Ok they would get 5 stars but, I have to wait over 1 hour every time I go. I know it’s a super busy place so I cut them so slack. They do work with me on the bill and are considerate. I will say I have a small cat and when people come in there with a huge pit bull and it won’t stop barking and running around it’s a bit scary for me and my little kitty. But they are nice and try to fit me in with last minute. So I can’t complain.

The staff at main Street animal hosptial are very friendly and they saw my cat, as a new patient, on the same day due to an emergency with him (for which I was very grateful). They took us back right away. The environment is clean too. The paintings on the walls are cute and we felt very comfortable there. Dr. Wright is professional and always called me back the same day every time I left her a message. She answered all my questions and concerns. They took good care of my cat. The staff was amazing with him! Very loving and kind. They really are animal lovers. I visited him every day he was there and he seemed happy and content. My only concern: Dr. Wright recommended a procedure that involves castrating my cat because he had developed stones in his bladder. I opted NOT to castrate him and asked her to flush out his bladder instead. We also put him on a special diet (they sell the special food to help breakdown the stones). I have read many posts about people castrating their male cats due to stones in the bladder and as a result, constant infections which caused severe pain and some eventually die due to this inhumane procedure. Must be horrific to witness your cat suffering in such a way. My cat has been urinating just fine (it's been 1.5 months since they flushed his bladder) and the special food is working great. He is a happy camper again and we keep him on this strict diet (very rarely giving him other food, only this food they sold to me - name brand is Urinary SO). He eats the dry food because he refused to eat the wet food. Intially, I bought 15 cans of the wet food but I exchanged them for the dry food. He eventually got used to his new food and now eats it just fine. Don't worry if your cat refuses to eat the food at first, it will take a few days. Dr. Wright gave me excellent advice: she said that my cat won't starve himself. Eventually, he'll eat the new food which he did! So thank you Dr. Wright for your kindness and patience with my concerns questions. I truly appreciated everything you did for my dear cat. We paid $850 including the food we bought and he stayed there overnight for 4 nights. Two x-rays were done, bladder flushed twice and this price includes all the meds he had to take during his hospital stay and meds for 10 days after he was already home. But, he is happy and healthy and that's what counts! Btw, we looked up YouTube videos on how to administer our cat his meds....use a large towel to avoid getting scratched or bitten. Two people need to be involved while administering medication to your cat. We were so relieved once he was out of the hospital and done with his meds. Finally, I do recommend this vet hospital but I do NOT recommend that surgery! Ask them to flush the bladder first and try the special diet first before this castration surgery. Try the diet for at least a few months. Ultimately, we give God the glory. We prayed for our cat everyday, for God to work through the hands at vet hospital who cared for him. We prayed for his daily protection while there and for his speedy recovery. Finally, we currently pray for our cat daily, for God to bless his food to his body and breakdown those stones, in Jesus name. Amen! God is good!

So Doctor did exam and advise me need to get X-ray, blood work etc estimated $790.00 which is my 2 weeks pay check if I did not listen to my daughter that's rip off. I took my adorable Winter to Main Street hospital I was so impressed quick service, exam room was so sanitized, staff was so friendly and very reasonable fees which is what I was expected to pay. We were referred to Main Street Veterinary Hospital by our regular veterinarian, when our beloved Cocker Spaniel needed dental surgery. Every single staff member we interacted with was WONDERFUL! His surgery turned out to be more complicated than expected, and he had to stay overnight for observation. We were extremely worried and upset, and they were very sensitive and reassuring. They called several times to update us on his condition, answered our questions patiently, and treated him like he was their own. Dr. Nabozny and Dr. Molesworth were fantastic! We had to take him again a couple of weeks ago, for what we thought was another dental issue. It turned out to be a tumor under his tongue, extending to his lower right jaw. Dr. Nabozny removed as much of it as she could. Unfortunately, the biopsy results came back a few days later, indicating stage IV malignant melanoma. About a week later, he worsened significantly. His face and tongue swelled up, making it difficult for him to swallow even water. We took him back for an examination, which revealed a nasty new tumor growing under his tongue, on the left side. We made the heartbreaking decision to put him down. Dr. Whitney Alper was extraordinarily kind throughout the process, as were the rest of the staff. She sent us a very touching handwritten condolence card. We also received one with personal notes from the attending staff, and a plaster imprint of our baby's paw, in a lovely leather case. We will NEVER go anywhere else, even though it's an hour drive from our home.

I just I just realized that I accidentally gave Main Street Veterinary Hospital a poor review so I need to correct it! Main Street Veterinary Hospital is five star in my book. My whole family takes all their animals there and I recommend this place to everyone! I had to take my beloved dog there as she was diagnosed with a form of breast cancer. ( which might have been prevented if I had her spayed when she was young ) Dr. Molesworth preformed surgery to remove the mass. Before returning to have her staples removed, another invasive mass appeared which was inoperable. I was devastated! Dr. Molesworth assured me I would know when it's time to say goodbye. Because the staff and especially Dr. Molesworth was so patient, understanding and supportive to me made it easier to cope with the grief and loss of my best friend! This place and the vets and vet techs are amazing,very compassionate, understanding, helpful, and a blessing!! Our baby kitty boy Pythagoras is only one and half years old was in a deadly situation. He had a blocked urethra and was moments away from leaving us. His dada and I felt so helpless.. Thanksgiving holiday made our checks low, we had just paid bills and rent and had barely any money to put up front like the ER wanted an outrageous amount but we did what we could there. The er only kept him okay for 8-12 hours and told us he will die if we don't get him the help he needed. I called the humane society the next morning she wanted to help but we were out of jurisdiction, SPCA was closed and new freedom gave us mainstreet vets number and I called right away. Dr. Han is a blessing and so reassuring , the techs n dr took him right away. We had to leave him for 3 long days and nights. He's our only child so you could understand how much his health effects us. I couldn't have asked for a better vet facility to help us . If needed they do payment plans with a company called vet billing. God sent!! I wish every place did this we did NOT WANT TO LOSE OUR BABY. he's too young and it's too soon. I am forever grateful and we can't wait to pick him up tomorrow!!! They are more committed to helping your furrbabies then anything else. I can't express how much I am grateful god led us there. This has been a drain ful experience with him being deathly ill. If you have a cat who can not urinate or has trouble and only dribbles do not hesitate! Once they are blocked up you CAN NOT do anything for them other then getting them to a vet like Mainstreet. Again thank you staff of Mainstreet!!

This wonderful lil Veterinary Hospital is tucked in btw a CVS and a diner - almost hidden from the road by trees - but it is a gem. Dr Molesworth is absolutely the BEST. Having 3 bulldogs I would never take them to anyone else. PERIOD. However, EXTREMELY Disappointed about their frequent referrals they make to Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Associates in Annapolis, MD. My beloved 5 yr old bulldog was referred there for TPLO surgery, and was found dead in a cage,after being premeditated 4 hours before proposed surgery. It appears that Standards of care were not met, as no respiratory rate or heart rate were taken post sedation for 4 hours until he was found dead in his cage. If i could offer any constructive criticism, the hold time to answer a call is way, way too long! Frequently they put you on hold for up to 15 minutes. Also, a few front desk personnel could use a course in customer service. I truly return because of Dr Molesworth, the most respected and expert on Bulldogs.

I am on my second Rotty. After shoddy experiences locally, I have taken both to Reisterstown for care. Main St. service has always been excellent & caring not only by Dr. Molesworth but by all who work there. My dogs have always seemed to enjoy the experience as well. I am a surgeon & can vouch for the fact that only necessary services & products are prescribed. I will continue to travel the rather long distance as needed.

Dr. Molesworth diagnosed my cat's disease. We were fortunate enough to not get the vet we normally see there. Dr. Molesworth took the step to biopsy and find out what we were dealing with. He is a real practioner who gets to the bottom of issues. I really like him. I would use him again if i get another animal, but only him. The front office staff is usually nasty and uncaring. I stood at the desk just to pick up some meds for almost 30 minutes while the girl played with a few animals in the waiting area. After she finished playing (30 minutes) she told me I would have to sign in and wait...RUDE

I rescued a little weeks old kitten that had been born in that terrible snow storm 2 years ago, the Feral Mother knew he was dying and dropped him on my porch, meowed at him, turned and left. When I snatched him up he had puss coming from his eyes & nose, he was in bad shape. I took him to a Vet on the East side of town who asked me why I wanted to spend the money because he probably wouldn't make it through the night. like I said that was just 2 years ago now! I had been referred here several times and we just returned from Charleston, SC where it's full of mold, moisture and rain almost all the time. Sebastian and I both came back ill. He needs meds every 3 months like clock work anyway, while I haven't seen Dr M I am satisfied with the other doctors Sabby has seen. She was kind, caring and listened. I plan on continuing with them!

Main Street Animal hospital is the best. My experience with Vet hospitals in the Crofton/Gambrills area has been terrible. If they(Crofton/Gambrills animal hospitals) would put as much effort into diagnosing your dogs health as they do with their interrogation on dog food brand, flea and tick brand, heartworm brand maybe, they would be as close to meeting Main Streets level of care, experience and expertise at diagnosing the health of the dog rather than judging the pet owner. Dr Molesworth saved my English Bull Terriers life. Valentino had eaten a cat toy, little mouse and had to have emergency surgery. The surgery was performed at another Vet Clinic. Valentino"s condition after surgery was deteriorating. They had overlooked a very serious abdominal infection. I took Valentinio to Dr Molesworth to be re-assessed. The infection was so bad at this point my dog would not have made it through the night. Dr Molesworth kept him 10 days fighting the infection.
