I felt like Blue was well taken care of while I was at work. I didn’t have to worry about him. Everyone was extremely friendly and really seemed to enjoy animals. I had a bad experience at another vet with my special needs cat and have been leery of leaving my cats alone at a vet and knowing they were getting the best care. Not here, the moment I dropped him off I knew he was safe and would be cared for. I plan on bringing my other baby, Beau to see you guys as well. He is my baby more than Blue is!!!

I found a puppy running around lost. I was only a couple of miles away from Leland so I went there. They were very helpful. The tech came out to my car and scanned the puppy for a microchip and their was one. She wrote down the information for me and it took a couple of hours for me to actually speak to the dogs owner but their was a very happy ending.

Vet and Nurse are professionals who care about their patients. No pushing numbers and getting dogs in and out. So refreshing to see after all these vets local and corporate seem to enjoy packing the back room full of scared puppies and kitties. My dogs had a great experience here and will ENJOY walking through the front door. They thoroughly listened to my needs and addressed any concerns they had instead of me coming to them with concerns. The price breakdown is the same as Banfield but with better care. Yes you have to pay for care upfront but they humanize the process. I’m just done with corporate vets and greedy vets. Dr. Carreker and each of the assistants were so thoughtful and gentle with my senior kitty. I appreciated their bringing us in only when the waiting room was clear and that they have a smaller room to see cats, to make them more comfortable. This visit was so much less stressful than our visits to our previous veterinarian!

I was very pleased with the attention that Dr Greenfield gave my cat Sylvester. In addition the assistants did very well also. The doctor took her time to explain everything to me in detail, which I appreciate very much. As a result of our visit, Sylvester recovered from his snotty-nose sickness, and was also able to eat much better. I really appreciate everything that they have done. We will return for all of Sylvester's medical needs.

Update: they called and rectified the situation and we’re very apologetic and completely understood my frustration. Wouldn’t mind using in the future if I needed, I just would NOT be late! Although the girl on phone was apologetic, I was 7-10 mins late for our first apt at this office and they denied to see my dog. Said they sent a reminder text the day before. Somehow sent it to an old phone number I no longer have…. The parking lot empty. They could have easily caught up on a 7 min delay in their day. New pt exam, heart worm and a rabies shot. Not much going on there. Said she asked vet and she denied seeing us. Tried to reschedule me, at that point I started laughing… that’s a big NO for me. My problem is, if the unprofessional girl I talked to on the phone to make the apt had given me any information AT ALL about the apt I could have made arrangements to make it there early. I had to ask her questions as she tried to get off the phone with me. Also if they had just texted the main number I put down for my number I would have been there.this vets time(7-10 min) is no more important then mine. Will NOT reschedule.

I usually really enjoy this clinic however I wish the doctors spent a little more time to explain things and answer questions. They seem very rushed to get you out of there. This just doesn’t seem fair with the price you are paying for the visit…

I have used this clinic for 14 1/2 years for my fur baby. I recieved nothing but friendly, courteous and professional service throughout the years. Dr. Greenfield helped me with all of my questions as I navigated my 16 year old beloved Ace as he had fallen ill. Had I not had her patience and gentle nature I would have been devastated. Very nice and attentive staff. Also the waiting room and facilities are very nice and clean! This was my first time coming here and I brought in one of my cats with a concern about a weightloss I had noticed. The vet listened to me and was able to give us some answers and an action plan. We'll be going back for sure and I'll be also taking my other two fur babies.

This is where I bring both my Chihuahuas for all major service and diagnostics. The staff is always sweet to the dogs. Even my older, out warranty model, that has the temperament of a Tarantino character. I brought my 'somma' puppy(some of this, some of that lol) that I was given in for her first set of shots. They were soooo friendly and even though she was scared, she gave them a nice wag of a tail and went with them. Definitely recommended and will not go anywhere else.

Highly recommend Leland. This vet clinic is wonderful - the staff is great, the vet team is professional yet caring. Scheduling is easy, and their facility is always clean and comfortable. They have a wonderful system on check-in to avoid waiting in the front area where it could possibly get loud and stressful otherwise.

Great staff and great vet who handled my dog. Dr. Ray handled an operation on my dog to remove a cancerous tumor. My dog is reasonably old (about 12 years) and a medium-sized build at 55-60 lbs. I got my dog back the same day with a thorough explanation of all medicine and care I needed to provide. I was very worried that the price would be exorbitant for a tumor extraction, but I am very happy with the cost of the surgery. This was also explained/forecasted well in advance. Their service seems to be primarily curbside, I think because the pandemic, but they have everything worked out with calling them and identifying you through your parking space. They are responsive by the phone and very courteous. In general, the staff seems to care. Their facility is nice and clean, and I'm lucky to have this location down the road from me. Thank you all.

Wonderful service. My grandson and I took his young pup in because he was limping and couldn't put too much pressure on his paw. They were having curbside service, so when we arrived we let them know which space we were in and they brought out paperwork for us to fill out. When we completed the paperwork they came out and got it and told us a technician would be out to get our pet. They came and got him. After checking him out they returned him, gave us a prescription and instructions and we were on our way. Great service. After 3 doses of medicine he was back to normal. I would highly recommend Leland Vet Clinic.

This place does practice covid procedures. Everything is well organized. You do not enter the building and staff comes out to assist you and will contact you by phone to discuss your pet. Everyone I have encountered is kind and very helpful. Our vet was Dr. Katie Ray and she was just wonderful. Pricing is reasonable and you are given a write up of procedures and cost beforehand.

The whole staff here is great. We have two dogs and have had very good experiences with every visit and every need, from routine checks and shots to surgery and emergency problems. They are prompt and timely, friendly and caring. Also, the building is always clean and smells fresh, which is hard to do for a vet's office!

I took my cat for a wellness check. It was around 40$ for that quick check, probably a fair price. Staff was friendly, my only complain is that I asked for a nail trim and to my surprise after they run my card I saw they charged me 19$ for it. I wished they would have said a nail trim was extra as my previous vet did not charge for it.

We have been bringing our bulldog puppy Penelope here since she was 7 weeks old - the vets, techs and entire staff are always so sweet to our dog. She's had pneumonia, and the staff and docs always take their time and show so much sweetness and kindness to our dog; when I have to leave her, I know she's in good hands. They let us ask as many questions as we like and never rush our appointments. We have had to come in for last minute appointments and they have always been super accommodating, they also are very helpful over the phone to answer simple questions. I would highly, highly recommend this vet hospital to anyone with a cat or dog.

We had a great small dog named coco. We have had her for 11 years. Like all dogs she was getting old and having lots of problems. But we wanted to hold on to her as long as we can. But the day came when we had to make that decision know one wants to make. We had to have her put to sleep! We are in pain! Yesterday a woman came to our house. She had a red rose in a vase. I was able to get same day appointment for my sick dog. I called and got a late appointment then when I called back they had earlier appointment. 😊 The receptionist was pleasant and very accommodating. When I arrived we were greeted and the check in process was simple. They made the whole experience calming and easy. The wait time was reasonable, this may be because it is a holiday morning. The vet tech, Lisa was pleasant and very nice. She was gentle with my dog and took time to listen to what I had concerns about. Dr. Carreker was so patient and took her time with Princess, she did her exam of Princess while talking to me and asking me specific questions to ascertain what could be the issue. I left with medications and specifically how to administer them and what to do if I notice any additional symptoms. I appreciate the time and professionalism of all the team members of Leland Veterinary Clinic. I will keep you posted on Princess’ progress.

Today I took my puppy in for the first time after he went through a horrible weekend at an emergency vet clinic. This was my first time going there and I couldn't be more pleased with the Dr and her staff. She was thorough and updated his shots. We have been going to Dr. Karriger for a couple of years now and couldn't be more happy with her care and compassion for our dogs. This past Christmas we had to put our oldest dog down. She was very gracious and understanding. She certainly made the process a bit more calming for all of us and explained everything thoroughly. Very helpful and friendly staff from the front desk to the doctor. Each time I have called to get our dogs an appointment I have been able to get them in. We take both of our dogs here. They were the only veterinarian we could find that was open when every other place either wasn't open or wouldn't see dogs during the quarantine.

I've observed that the quality of care and attention seems to be slipping. I've had a few instances now where errors were made: not getting charged correctly, or the receptionist not letting me speak to the Dr. to check on an urgent issue. It just seems that there is more emphasis put on getting the patients in and out quickly rather than giving the right level of attention.

I have been going to Dr. Carreker for 15 years now. She is honest, personable, and professional and has always provided the best possible care for my dogs. She always returns my calls and never rushes me off the phone or out the door when I have questions (which I always do because when something is wrong with one of my dogs, I read everything I can get my hands on). I would not be a client for 15 years if that was not the case. My dogs are like children to me and I would not ever accept sub-standard care. The office staff is great, especially Lisa, who is one of the vet techs. I think she has been there for as long as I have been a client. I have never had an issue with anyone in the front office. They have always been polite and professional. As long as I am living in GA, Dr. Carreker will be my vet!

We love Dr. Carreker and Dr. Greenfield. They are fantastic vets and have been nothing but helpful and kind to our dogs. However, some of Leland's front desk staff are rude and not compassionate. I understand that they are not necessarily an emergency vet, but we brought our dog, that had seen them for nearly three years since we moved to the area, to the office right after they opened one morning because he was struggling to walk and breath. We were so scared and I knew something was seriously wrong. When I told the front desk person that I thought my dog might be dying and explained what was wrong, she said they could not see him without an appointment. However, there was nobody even waiting to see the doctor. We ended up losing our dog that day. The vets are so great that we have continued to bring our other animals there, but some of their staff needs to learn compassion.

My babygirl bella was hurt pretty bad in a dog fight by my other dog.. we took her to other vets and didn't have a good experience until we brought her here to the Leland veterinary clinic and we loved dr. ray she really is the best! Good Vet and good people. I have never had a bad experience with them. However, just an FYI to those looking to go there. They are not an emergency clinic, but they will give you some suggestions if they are unable to care for your animal. Also they are by appointment only so call and make one before going up there.

I have driven miles and states to take my dog back to this place for the care she deserves. Florida, south Carolina and Georgia. Leland has the panic at bay. I was told my wee one needed back surgery from north Charleston in November 2017 to find out now 5/28/21 that it still was NEVER necessary.

I started using Leland last Fall. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Carreker doesn't recommend spending on services that really aren't needed. She lets you know what the best approach is, and I appreciate this.

Dr Carreker is great, however, the front of house staff is kind of rude and not very customer service friendly. They won't write Heartguard prescriptions because they want to sell it at the shop and one time I dropped in (unexpected) to get my dogs nails trimmed and they said they only had time to do 1 dog. They wouldn't budge on this so I left, drove to Petco, bought a $10 clipper and trimmed both dogs in about 10 minutes. To not give me 5 minutes to trim the other dogs nails was kind of ridiculous. I know that seems small but if you aren't going to go the extra mile (quarter-mile in this case) I'll just take my pets somewhere else.
