Our fur babies don’t just need the best medical, health, and wellness care. They also deserve to have a positive experience when going to the vet and to feel safe and relaxed when receiving medical care. This lowers their stress hormones and helps them trust being in a strange environment with people who aren’t their pet parents. Avery Creek definitely delivers all of this! Experienced staff who actually love your pet and go the extra mile to make their visit as pleasant as possible. Highly recommend!

Always love this practice. Have been going here for over twenty years. There are vets closer to my home but would never consider going anywhere else. The entire staff are not only thoughtful and friendly but very knowledgeable. Dr. Wysocki takes his time explaining all aspects of care. I feel he studies and keeps up with current research. Best veterinarian office ever!! From new patient appointments, annual visits, and emergency visits, they always fit you in. All of the staff are amazing!! For our emergency situations, they have always called after to check up on our dogs. We have also received emails about further steps to help out our dogs. I showed up in the parking lot about 20 minutes before the facility was supposed to close with my English bulldog who is 9 and was having trouble breathing. The staff was so amazingly gracious to me and my old man bulldog and took all the time necessary to look at him and to do everything they needed to to get him calmed down and breathing better so we could make the 2 hr trip to where we needed to be. We are not regular patients there as we were just on our way through however they treated us and made us feel like we had been going there for years. I honestly cannot thank them enough as I don’t think we would’ve made it home had it not been for them and their kindness and compassion that they showed and they never once seemed put out that we showed up at the last minute and they all had to stay late. Honestly - they showed such kindness to me being a worked up bulldog mama and then also to my boy❤️. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough .

Dr Kedo was very patient with my rescue dog who is often anxious and aggressive in new places. She was able to work with Bailey to keep her calm while getting updated vaccines and well check. Just moved to Hendersonville from out of state and needed to get my 11 year old cat in and it was an absolute amazing experience. The whole staff were so friendly and welcoming. Dr. Wysocki was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My cat had been limping and sneezing and after the thorough examination, Dr. Wysocki gave great advice, as well as a few medications to help Dexter. Best place to treat you’re pets, is 45 min away from home but totally worth it. The first time we were attended by Dr. Yale and he was amazing he explaining everything perfectly with detail on how to solve a skin issue that my boy Fiji had. The second experience was today when my poor boy injured his leg , they took care of him immediately, Dr. Wysocki and his team were very kind and treated my boy with great care and compassion , they explained everything really good. I know my little Fiji is in good hands with them and will recover soon.

We had just adopted a kitten and were worried about her sneezing and just, in general, wanted her thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. I sent an appointment request on-line over the weekend and they quickly scheduled us for Monday am. Our little Simone was seen by Dr. Wysocki. He answered all our questions and took excellent care of Simone. Everyone in this office, from start to finish, were friendly, caring, and accommodating to our needs. We have our follow up appointment scheduled for next May and highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking care for their loved ones. Simone was happy too!

My pup, Jack, had surgery and a retained baby tooth extracted, I was kept informed at each stage of his procedures by Dr. Joyce. I really appreciate that, waiting to hear how my fur baby is doing is always the hardest part. The tech was very friendly and good with Jack , unfortunately, I don’t recall her name. She was pretty with dark curly mid length hair. Claudia is always friendly and helpful over the phone. I think the hospital’s pricing is very reasonable and I can get Jack in for a visit in a timely manner. I started taking my Jack here during Covid, so I haven’t even met a lot of the people face to face. I look forward to meeting you all, hopefully soon! Even with Covid, you all appear to keep things running smoothly! I appreciate what each of you do.

Arlo’s first visit to Avery Creek Pet Hospital was wonderful. Arlo is a 3.5 year old Aussiedoodle that we just rescued. He comes to us from a traumatic past few years. Very nice staff, heartbreaking experience. The cost to remove a tooth from my cat are equal to getting a crown from my dentist. I gathered up natural remedies and began applying them to the tooth and was able to shift the tooth a bit so my sweetheart could eat better. I'm looking for a cost under $1,000 for this extraction. Unfortunately, Avery Creek Pet Hospital is out of my ability to afford. They were kind enough to give me the name of a hospital that provides surgeries on a sliding scale.

I have a difficult (fearful & snappish) senior male border collie. Kennedy the vet tech was great with him: so patient and kind. Buddy - even after being dosed with Trazodone - will never willingly tolerate being handled by a stranger. Since he had an open lesion requiring examination and also needed his Bordatella vaccination, hands-on exam was a necessity. Kennedy patiently and calmly tried several muzzling techniques until he found one that outsmarted the border collie brain. Dr. Huck did a thorough exam and treated the open lesion carefully, which required shaving the area and cleaning it out. She was amazingly gentle and went out of her way to make it as fear-free as possible. She gave me clear directions for home-care to help his sore heal up. I was very impressed with them both! The front office also seems very efficient and is staffed with friendly, helpful folks. It is quite a relief to know I've found a vet team ready to 'go the extra mile' for challenging dogs like mine!

I am relatively new to the area and was nervous about finding an exotic vet that would see my rabbits. No other vet/emergency vet in the area would see them and so I would travel two hours to UT Knox until I found Avery creek. They have been awesome and so kind. They genuinely care. Dr. W saw my mini Rex on an emergency basis when he tore off an entire toenail and had him in mint condition in literally 30 minutes! As someone who has spent literally thousands at vet schools and other exotic vets it is so refreshing to have extremely reasonable pricing here! As one person I cannot do my rabbits nails but they have always gotten them in quickly and affordably and their techs are great! Would not go anywhere else for routine or emergency care!

Dr. Wysocki is amazing! So patient, has such good information, and always has the best interest of the furry family member in mind! They won't upsale you, which is a plus. We switched to this office on a recommendation from Boxer Butts and Other Mutts, because one of our 2 dogs was aggressive towards the vets and techs at another office. At Avery Creek, that dog begs for attention from the vet techs as well as Dr.Wysocki. Even in the instance when she had half of her tail removed due to cancer- even then she LOVED and TRUSTED him. She feels so comfortable here! We never have to wait long, they are efficient, and I NEVER question the advice they give me for our dogs. Dr.Wysocki is always, ALWAYS correct. Dr. Fletcher (if she is still there), on the other hand, I will never see again. We only see Dr. Wysocki. I always recommend this place to others! The SLIGHT price difference is SO worth it!

Dr. Wysocki and his team do a great job greeting and talking to your pet to put them at ease. You can tell they really enjoy working with their patients. They do a nice job explaining the examinations, treatments and vaccinations they are giving, and why they are important to your pets health, along with any anticipated side effects (i.e. soreness after a vaccination, etc.). Their office is near where we live and convenient, but even if it were across town we would still take our dog there. Avery Creek Pet Hospital is a great practice.

I called literally 16 places in the area and not a single one would either see a mouse, or not make us wait and thus making poor Lexi wait, and in addition making me miss work. Not only was Avery Creek willing to listen, would see a mouse, but they were super nice and able to fit us in. They knew her name the moment we walked in the door, were incredibly friendly and efficient. They were great with Lexi and got her medicine, gave her the first dose and showed us how to do it at home as well, all while costing less than some of the other places quoted us for a sick visit even while making us wait days. It's a bit of a drive for us, but I'll be bringing all my pets to Avery Creek.

I will let my new 20 month old yellow Lab, Bodie, report on his experience: "My first check up with a brand new doctor for my inspections and injections. The staff clearly understood that we Labs are 'special' - they let my owner wait outside till they were ready to see me, then three people came outside to greet us and lead us to the exam room. My human calls me rambunctious, but they helped me remember my manners by being so cordial. After a few questions and some more waitin', they took me off by m'self for the pokes and prods. Not pleasant, but I got treats in the front end, so's I didn't mind (too much), what was going on - elsewhere. Next, a real nice Doc (with warm hands), Dr. Wysocki, came in and checked me out. Musta been more injections, but I did not notice. I was getting nice hugs from his assistant. All in all - I look forward to coming back." Prices are very reasonable. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, professional, and efficient. Plenty of parking and a grassy area on one side of the parking for pre-visit sniffing, etc.
