We have been travelers on several charter trips through Village Travels. We leave from Wichita, Ks & go to Council Bluffs Harrah's casino. We have made many friends as we usually all are repeat travelers. What fun we have hade. Our driver Jessie is amazing. I recently had back surgery & every time I stepped off the bus he had my walker right at the steps. He went beyond his duties to make sure I got off & on the bus. His kindness will forever stay with me.

I have been chartering buses for our skating team for 10 years and I have to say that my experience with Village Tours was one of the best. Our driver, Ed, was fantastic - helpful, personable, cared about our athletes and came to watch them compete, and managed to get us everywhere we needed to be on time. The bus was also of top quality. If we come back to KS, we'll definitely call on Village Tours again.

We have taken a couple trips with Village Tours. We have always enjoyed every part of the tours. We took the Nashville tour and was very surprised at the amazing stops along the way. We stopped at a magnificent hotel along the way that was truly amazing. Better than Nashville. I would like a tour there for a few days without going to Nashville. We have always been totally pleased with Village and their tour guides.

We just Village Travels to transport wedding guests to our venue. They were great and easy to work with. The best part is they even called (I didn't know this until later because they called my day of coordinator) and asked what our wedding colors were and they matched our wedding colors with the buses!

What an outstanding experience from start to finish with Village. Lori Vinsonhaler helped us organize and choose the right bus for our needs (and on a short notice time frame to boot!) and wasn't phased by the million tiny changes we had to make to our itinerary. Jim Lynch was an awesome driver and checked with us every step of the way to make sure we had what we needed from him. He even humored our bus and played along with our games and fun things we had going on throughout our trip. What an incredible addition to an already perfect trip. Wonderful!!

The Kansas Lions International Band just returned from Chicago, where they marched in the Lions International Centennial Parade. Our driver Brian Stovall did an outstanding job. 100% dedicated to our needs and desires, made the trip a huge success. We could not have hand picked a better driver and now a dear friend. We reserved a 55 passenger motor coach to transport wedding guests from their hotel to the wedding venue 25 miles away and back to the hotel. The driver (Dale) called me the day before to double heck on the times and details an to give me his phone number. He was there on time an was very kind our polite to our guests. Our trip was wonderful and without incident. The bus was clean, spacious and had wifi. I found the entire staff at Village Tours extremely accommodating and answered all my questions with patience and tact. The traffic going to the solar eclipse was much lighter than we expected so we reached the destination without incident. Unfortunately, the traffic was much heavier on our return to Wichita. Our driver, Matt Jacobs, kept abreast of driving conditions and altered the route home so our group didn’t face the hours of delay which would have occurred on our planned route. Matt was more than pleasant and we enjoyed his company tremendously!!

Took the bus up to KC Worlds of Fun for an Eight Grade Grad party. Very enjoyable not have to drive and letting someone else navigate the KC traffic. We had a great time on the WWI Museum Tour. It was just a 2 day trip, but every detail was planned carefully. We had a mix-up on our room, but the hotel manager was exceptionally professional and pleasant in dealing with the problem. The coach was comfortable. We had water and snacks provided during our travel time. We will definitely travel with Village Tours again!

Can’t say that we have had the pleasure of actually touring with Village Tours, but feel the need to post this review. Two days after making our final payment for an upcoming tour we had booked, we learned that my mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. We called Village Tours and explained our dilemma. They immediately gave us the information we needed to contact the company we purchased our travel insurance policy with. Long story short, we received a full refund. Says a great deal about Village Tours and the insurance carrier they choose to do business with. Look forward to touring with them in the future.

We went to Alaska on a cruise with Village Tours in 2009. We were generally very pleased with all the arrangements. The places they took us to eat were of good quality and the accommodations were satisfactory. With other travel companies, we have been directed to places where we were a captive audience to be given sales pitches for everything from jewelry to time-shares. That was not the case with Village Tours -- they respected the tact that we were paying customers. A nice feature with Village Tours in Wichita is their fenced lot for parking while you are on tour. In our case, we only rode their bus the short distance from that lot to the airport, but it was nice to know that the lot was more protected than the parking at the airport, and there was no charge for it.. In all cases, the employees of Village Tours were courteous and accommodating. We are now planning another tour with them in the fall.

Have traveled three or 4 times a year for the last ten years. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The drivers and directors do everythig possible for everyone have a comfortable fun trip. Accomidations are above and comfortable.

The buses are comfortable, clean, and visually appealing. They also have power outlets on each of the seats, and even small TV screens hanging down in different places throughout the bus. You are able to play movies on them for the whole bus, which can provide some much needed entertainment for long drives if you are traveling. The WiFi did not seem to fully work however, and provided no internet access when connected to.
