The guys were great everybody was on time the boat was very clean they took all the time to explain everything that they were doing did everything that they said. They even took a moment to have us get to know each other. Although it was over in a flash it was definitely worth doing. Being able to see everything from such a height yet it was so relaxing you didn’t even have to get wet if you didn’t want. But of course the person I was with wanted to get wet. Anybody even thinking about doing it I think should.. You only live once and you might as well enjoy every moment you can. They were very safety conscious. A five-year-old little girl even went on the boat when I did not fearful at all. She laughed and giggled. Don’t be out done by a little girl

Absolutely positively flat out awesome experience!!! Crew was cool guys that were helpful and made the trip fun. Had a 10am appointment but had to reschedule due to wind gusts (ocean life). They got us out later the same day with no problems. 1,000ft above the ocean, awesome. Peaceful at the top. Ty pirates, the best you RRRRRRRRR!!

This was an amazing experience and the customer service was good. The check-in girl let me know about a discount that saved me $10 per person and the price was not outrageous. Coming back in you can get dipped into the water completely, halfway or just you feet. I bought the photo package for just $30 extra for about 40 pictures and it was worth it. I would definitely do this again.

Parasailing is super fun and everyone should try it once! This place is super fun and safe for all! Every staff member made sure that we were taken care properly. It was incredible view. Overall, both guys were amazing and made the experience special for us! We truly recommend them! You guys ROCK!

The entire parasailing trip was much more fun than we could have expected. The Captains (we had two) were both knowledgeable and funny. Our dip in the ocean was greatly appreciated. We will be returning for another trip next year. The Dolphin watching was an added bonus and one that was delightful. We highly recommend.

Such an amazing experience!! We booked online and used the promo code provided. Without promo code: $80 per person and if just observing its $25 Pictures to be taken: $30 Definitely worth it if it's your first time! They send you a email the next day to be able to download your photos. They have storage on the boat for your keys and items you do not want to get wet. I suggest wearing something you don't mind to get wet. Besides the parasailing it's just a absolute delight just to be riding on the boat! Also bring some cash to tip the guys! I wish I would have known ahead of time so I could have left a larger tip. I dont remember the guys names, just that we had the green boat, but they were fantastic! Definitely could tell they were extremely use to it and had a good routine down. Felt completely safe the whole time! Will definitely return if we come back to the area.

We had a great time here. I enjoyed hanging out witj my family. The guys that were on the boat were very knowledgeable and very careful explaining everything in detail about the process. It was great. It was a little choppy at 1st but we made it through.

Not only did we go parasailing. They took us dolphin watching. It was easy and a great experience. Everyone was so nice remember to bring cash for a tip. Remember some people work for tips. They also sell shirts.

The boat ride out to the beginning of the trip had my stomach in my throat the whole trip. Never will I sit in the front of a boat that small again. Didn't know if I could go thur with the sailing. But the boat staff were the best. They made sure that I was ok and assured me that they were there at every step. Turned out the best thing I have ever done. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding! The thrill of a lifetime. I am 68 years old and I never felt safer than today's parasail adventure. (A big THANK YOU to the young lady who used my cellphone to record video of my event) The price is right, Captain is 100% professional, Mate is just as professional, boat is immaculate clean and crew covered all safety regulations. Total flight time was 10 to 12 minutes. The view from the sky was awesome! Schools of stingray were clearly visible. You can look across the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean and only see water all the way to the horizon. I will definitely do this again with Pirate Parasail. Great job all including office personnel.

Everything was great!! The staff was very friendly & made sure we felt safe! Gave us the option if we would like to get a little wet or stay dry the whole time, which is great ! Staff is right on time, boat was very clean & took a lot of great photos of us! The only problem we face was the other people they paired us on the boat, were very rude to us & what we believe was racist! But besides that we loved the whole experience!!!

What a fun experience! I went with a friend today and had an absolute blast. We both live here but are both kind of new so we wanted to try cool things in the area. What a great experience. The guys that took us out, can't remember names 😬, but they were great. I was so nervous at first, but the captain was super chill and cracked a few jokes, lightened the mood. Being up in the air above the ocean was breath taking and an experience I will never forget. the desk staff and crew were all great, very friendly. The experience was fun, very smooth and relaxing, not as intense as you might expect. Boat crew is great, knowledgeable and friendly. Mate works for tips. Make sure you drop them a tip for their hard work. Not sure why they recommend arriving 30 minutes in advance. I checked in around 30 minutes ahead of time then nothing happened until the booking time. Might be different for you though, so probably just show up 20-30 minutes early anyways.

*this is a cross posted review* I really wanted to take the time to shout out Pirate Parasailing. This is my 2nd time with them -- but they really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a positive one. For starters, we had a cancellation so at last minute they worked it out to where we were able to pay a difference to let our other person go from Observer to Flyer! My mother had a stroke last month or so which effected her vision, which in turn effects her balance / way of getting around. As you could imagine walking on a moving pier, a shaky boat, and down some steps would be difficult. However, Captain Nolan, Jack, and even the other two riders that were with us REALLY went above and beyond to help my mom. They assisted her, helped her up, guided her, and really accommodated her. Our main concern was having my mom stand up on edge of the boat while we were hooked up but instead they allowed my mom to sit down and they brought the hookups to her. I could go on and on. The flight and experience itself was great! People were nice , landing and takeoff was smooth, and most importantly we felt safe! Thanks Captain Nolan, Stephen & Jack for really making my mom's FIRST experience a great one. She had a great time and enjoyed her outing. I really cant thank you enough for making her feeling comfortable and at ease. We will be back soon! ❤️

As a first-timer, the experience of parasailing was incredible and surprisingly relaxing. The experience with Pirate Parasailing was also fantastic. My plans included everyone in our group parasailing, even my young daughter. I had reservations about this and how she would handle it. The mate and captain both took extra steps to assure me that she would be safe. It went very smoothly and everyone had a great time. Not only were they safe and efficient, they were also personable. I would definitely fly with them again.

We went for parasailing with "Pirate parasail" We had a very good time and lots of boat. To start off with, we had a speed boat drive from the backwaters to the ocean and from there we were off to the skies... There were 2 staff that came with us and we were in the skies for atleast 10mins....awesome experience... Everyone can try it( 4yrs and 40pounds above).... Please don't miss it... And the experience with "Pirate Parasailing" Also was great... Easy process and great customer care... You just book with them and they take care of the rest.... I personally would suggest you to opt for the Photo package($30). The person coming with you will take the photos and they would share it to you via email. Happy Parasailing !!!!

Even though the seas were rough the day we went out, it was quite an enjoyable experience. The captain was very personable. He expressed concern for his passengers and was apologetic. I personally like that he took us further out to sea versus teetering close to the shoreline.

Wow, this was a really great experience! Captain Nolan and First Mate Spencer were very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The price seemed reasonable from what I researched with other locations in the area. The entire process was smooth, from booking to flight to deboarding the boat. We were a group of 3 on the 9am session. We got the photo package add-on. PLEASE, keep in mind, THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS (they're water people 😉). I was a tad disappointed with the quality of the photos. They were dark, as the sun was behind us (the subject). It hadn't occurred to mention it beforehand. Even still, I'm not sure that they would have been able to make the accommodation, as they are on a schedule to ensure everyone is as close to their paid time slot (understandable). I was able to make edits to the photos, just enough to get a couple of decent ones out of the bunch. Also, be patient with the processing of your photos. They weren't available for 24hrs (I didn't notice anywhere in writing where this was specified and they didn't explain it at time of purchase in the shop). When I called about them the next day, the young lady I spoke with was very friendly and informative about the process. Overall, it was a great first-time experience. We're looking forward to doing it again soon. I recommend booking your Parasailing trip with these fine folks. 🙂

We did a Triple with my wife and daughter and loved it. Great crew, great experience. Parking is a little hard but they help you park so it’s not that big of a deal, just get there early to figure out the parking. We did our payment and waivers online so check in was like 5 mins but parking took an additional 20 mins probably…

I woke up Monday morning and asked myself “what should I do today?” I decided that parasailing was the answer & Pirate Parasail were the one’s I wanted to make it happen. This was one of the best impulse decisions I have made and the captain and mate were awesome! The boat ride out was smooth and parasailing was even smoother. The view was breathtaking, the takeoff makes you feel weightless, and if you get lucky, you can even see dolphins. If you are in the area and want to play daredevil for the day, I highly recommend Pirate Parasail! I regret not getting the photo package so if you want pictures to remember this experience, get them! Worth the money for such a great time!

Ben and Sam on the Green boat were more than we could have ever asked for! Ben was an excellent captain, and Sam worked so hard to make sure my 12 year old daughter and husband felt completely confident and comfortable on their first experience parasailing. Sam went out of her way to also photograph my 3 year old daughter (non rider) and the trip also included tons of dolphin sightings! We will be back, and we will be requesting to ride with Ben and Sam again! They are truly the best team, and work so well together.

Took my children (ages 10 & 14) to parasail. Opted for the 9 am flight to save $45 total. It was a perfect time to go. Don't remember the names of the two guys that were on or boat, but they were fantastic. My daughter was excited but nervous. The captain engaged her in conversation, made it fun, and without it being obvious to her, calmed her nerves and made it more enjoyable. We did opt for the pictures. It seems pricey, but you get an sd card to take with you with lots of extra space. More than happy with the pictures they took of our flight. We did see some stingrays while in the air and had an added bonus when we saw some dolphins up close on or way back in to the dock. I have parasailed in Florida and this trip was better in every way! Will definitely go again when we return.

My daughter was a little hesitant at first about whether she was going to fly or just observe since she had never done anything before that was even closely related to Parasailing. Done hesitate to choose Pirate Parasail! Highly experienced and super friendly staff. We were guided through the process and felt like we knew exactly what to expect and what to do when our turn came. Even the boat ride out to sea was such fun and made the experience that much more enjoyable. The over all ride was so smooth and WOW what a view once you take flight. We could see sting rays, and dolphins all over. We didn’t realize we would be 400ft off the water! Don’t forget to ask to be Dipped, our captains control was amazing to watch as we Glided inches from the water to dip our toes. Parking can be intimidating as their are two restaurants on the dock. The staff from Pirate Parasail came walking up the line if anyone was parasailing and helped us park, lined us up and that helped so much. The site mentioned Arriving 30 minutes earlier, but to ensure your parking situation make sure you’re 45 minutes earlier especially around dinner time! We will definitely be doing this again!

We had an all around amazing experience!! When we initially tried to book online we ran into an issue, and when we called the girl was super helpful and was able to accomplish what we were trying to do for us. Then the day of, our Captain, Ben, was suburb! His helper (first mate?) Parker, was awesome as well. We had a six year old flyer and it was her first time and both guys made her feel comfortable and at ease but excited! 10/10 would fly again with pirate parasail, and definitely would request Captain Ben!! (Not to mention, both were pretty easy on the eyes as well 🙃)

I went with my 8 year old son & we loved it! Our flight was canceled the previous evening due to wind which we were glad as we wanted to be safe. We booked the next morning & it was still windy but the take off & landing were so smooth & we felt completely safe. My son was a little leary of heights before taking off but he loved it! It was quiet & Peaceful. Not a bit scarey. The crew was friendly. They had their system down & everyone was fastened in quickly & we were in & out with 3 other riders in under an hour. No waiting. Flight time was perfect although it was so peaceful I could of stayed up there all day. They gave you the option of getting wet or not. Great time. Thanks for the memories.

It was Awesome! My 18 and 15 yr old sons did the parasailing, and my daughter and I rode in the boat as observers. The boys had so much fun! They went 1000ft in the air, and the "fly time" was really good for the price. The captain, and mate were super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend them, and if we come back to Virginia Beach, we'd do it again!

Our family of 8 had an exceptional experience today with Ben and Sam! It was an exhilarating ride enhanced by the friendly, jovial captain and mate who made the process seem smooth, seamless, fun, and exciting. As if that wasn't enough, we were also fortunate to have up-close-and-personal dolphin sightings during and after our parasailing sessions. We left feeling awed by the excursion, and we hope to do it again sometime.

A friend from out of town came to visit & we went parasailing with Pirate Parasail. It was a great way to show her Virginia Beach! The view is spectacular, it is definitely worth it to go to the full 1,000ft. We went at 9am and used the coupon. The staff made parking easy (which is no small thing at the oceanfront during 4th of July week!) and were friendly and helpful checking us in. Our captain & mate Ben and Parker were kind, helpful, and funny - they made it a blast and made the nervous people on the boat feel safe. Be careful how much you tease them because they just might dip you in the water a bit ;) Very respectful & honestly would recommend this place just for the staff! Additionally, the boat ride is half the fun so if you're not into parasailing it is worth it to ride along. PS we appreciated being able to tip with card, because who brings cash on a boat?

Smooth sailing the entire time. We made a reservation for 10am and actually got taken out a tad earlier. We used the coupon for $20 off 3 flyers if before 11am. And we also purchased the picture package for $30. We got some great photos. I felt safe the entire time we were going out. Bring cash for tipping. I was not aware of this so once we got back to shore I left the first mate's tip with the check in girls. Hopefully he got it. I had researched some other competitors and Pirate Parasail was by far the best price wise for what you got. You pay a flat fee where with the other establishments they charge you more based on if you want to go higher. I would recommend this company!!!! We had a great time.

There were a ton of photos provides but photo quality was poor and didn't do justice to the experience. The captain and first mate were wonderful! let us tell you a story. we went here today at 2:30 and it was the BEST part of our entire trip here at Virginia Beach. We don’t even know where to begin. First we want to mention how freaking amazing Parker and Ben are. Here are just a few examples of why both Parker and Ben are the best people on earth. One of us was very scared of heights during this trip and Parker pinky promised we would be ok and made sure we were aware of his fear of heights AND water. Parker. If you’re reading this. Then you probably picked the wrong job because of your fears. Ben was one crazy cat. He was super funny and made us laugh the whole boat ride. One crazy part of our trip was that Ben and Parker decided to pull a prank by saying that the straps were not good and might break right as we were taking off. We recommend this place with these people. We plan to come every year for the rest of our lives. As long as Ben and Parker are there we’re there. This company is the one to choose. 1000 foot ride is what they do - no over charging like the competitors one fee at 600' and another for 1000 feet. Pirate Parasailing was awesome. My son and I went up as a double - the Captin and 1st mate arrrrr very professional and FUN - you def know and feel your safe and in experienced hands. The boat is awesome too - really powerful with comfy seating. We had two groups of 3, and two groups of 2 + a mom who came to watch her daughters and son fly (sail). So 11 total and it was just like one big exciting adventure together. All cheered as each group took-off and landed - really fun! We could not be happier - and btw we saw the "other" company's boat out on the ocean - no way they were as high as us, no way. Excellent Awesome and... a little leg dunk in the ocean before you come in for a landing😎👍 super fun highly recommend Pirate Parasail. Oh, ya for a very reasonable fee they also take digital pictures and give you the SD card - wow nice touch👍☀️😎

It was my first time and it is so peaceful and surreal up in the air, nothing like the boat ride. It felt like I had entered another reality in the air.
