Back 50 years ago I worked in the oil exploration in the Amazon jungle and have hundreds of hours as a passenger in a helicopter so the ride itself was nothing new. However it was enjoyable. They have four different flights at different price points. We got the most expensive one which lasted about 20 minutes and flew us all around St. Louis. Well worth the money we spent. A very enjoyable experience. Just come on down to the dock and go inside the building and then five minutes later you’ll be up in the air

These folks run a wonderful helicopter tour conveniently located right next to the Gateway Arch. The shortest tour, around 3 minutes in the area, is rather affordable at $48. It provided some exceptionally unique views of the St Louis skyline and I highly recommend giving it a try

Took the deluxe tour. Did not wait long at all, maybe around 5 mins. Very smooth ride, pilot was very knowledgeable and professional. Smooth take off and landing. Pricing was not bad at all. Very nice way to see any city.

Super friendly staff. Really cool views. I would have like the ride to be a lil bit longer. I took the least expensive one but still think that it was an amazing deal. The experience was unique and will for sure be back

I would give 10 stars if I could. I got there shortly after they opened, so no real wait time. I took the deluxe tour and they let me go alone since not many people do that one. The pilots were absolutely fantastic and chatted me up the whole time. The young lady doing the flying was great at her job too. Nice, smooth flight. I understand the bad reviews here, but I just gave you a few tips to have a better experience. These guys rocked today!

The ground team was very knowledgeable and had great attitudes! From start to finish I loved every minute! The staff ensure you’re safe and secure before takeoff and Rico( the pilot) ensured we had a great time while flying! Worth the money and I would definitely do again! Also, Rico is some great eye candy if you don’t mind missing a glimpse of the skyline!

I came in for a tour yesterday with my wife and it was the best experience I've had. The staff was super friendly and surprisingly professional for such young employees. They let me know that there would be a wait because the pilot had to re fuel and the young lady at the desk asked about my day and where we were from and just seemed genuinely caring about everyone who came in the door. The pilot was very nice and very knowledgeable of the area and even for his young age he sure knew what he was doing. I will definitely come back when I have the chance!

$37 per person for 4 minutes? Worth it? Yes! Enough? Nope! Sometimes good times in life don't last long. That's what was our ride like. Ride around the Arch in 4 minutes were the best of 4 minutes of our weekend.

This was the highlight of our trip!! The staff was extremely friendly, the pilot was kind and knowledgeable, and the prices were very reasonable! Bonus--we purchased a photo after our tour and upon returning home in Iowa, I accidentally washed it with the dirty clothes from our trip. I contacted the company and they helped me receive another one. Out of our three days in St. Louis, the staff and experience provided by Gateway Helicopter Tours Inc was the best time and money we spent! THANK YOU!!

Experience was pretty nice, but I'm not sure it was worth the money. The ride was so quick. I would recommend this helicopter tour to others looking for adventure. Just realize that about 10 mintues later you're going to be a little poorer, after forking over all your greenback for a short ride.

The day we chose there was no wait. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and professional. Due to Covid going to the top of the arch was not possible. Although this is more expensive it definitely was worthwhile. Parking is a little funky.

We did have to wait 30-35 mins and it is expensive but we felt like it was well worth it and have talked about returning to do the longer tour :)

The post below about "gas runs" or the "price going up" or discounts literally make me laugh out loud. Cara was our pilot and she was extremely talented and knowledgeable about STL area. People if you are concerned about the cost, dont ride lol or take a train tour should be less expensive for you. This company has employees that have families and they have to eat too. It's a luxury experience people. I would rather want fuel in my helicopter then not.... Stop ruining the review ratings for things that happen most time that are unforeseen. Keep up the EXCELLENT tours and good luck Cara with your future aviation career!!!

Ok as of today July 1st 2017 it cost $37.00 per person not including tax. This ride only goes between the the two bridges that you can see nearest the helipad, Up to one bridge down to the other bridge and back up, for a whopping 2 minutes and 48 seconds people!!!! Seriously 20 bucks a minute??? You do the math!!! I sat and timed these guys for a complete hour, both yellow and black helicopters while I was at the lemonade stand just enjoying my day. All these tourist are paying 40 bucks per person. That's 160 for a 4 family tour for 2 minutes. Hahaha you guys are idiots to pay that!! This company is pure genius!! Make that money Gateway!! #TeamGatewayHelicopterToursSTL #Winning.
