An outstanding service. They worked with me on my dietary needs. Basil, Jaya, and Sonny were fantastic waiters. Basil the head of the waiter service went beyond to get us what we need, especially with my lactose in tolerance diet. He made sure that there were no risks with any of my meal, same for my diabetic and low salt diet which tend to be very bland. However, every meal was delicious, lots of flavor and wonderful garnishing. Our first waiters were also very good, Acer and Putu. All staff in the cruise were so courteous, professional, friendly and fun. The ship was spotless, which I found incredible with so many people on board. I found that our balcony state room met my disability needs. Dr. Joel treated my swollen leg and back pain with acupuncture, it was such a healing process. I never done a cruise before due to my multiple medical issues. But all my fears and worries went away from the first day. This was my 65th birthday gift to myself in September. My granddaughter, my caregiver, loved it too. Now she wants to celebrate her 25th cruising too next March. I told her if the price is right, we definitely do it. I'm truly looking forward to more celebrations cruising. A huge thanks to Royal Caribbean International and to Westgate Cruise and Travel!!!!!

The system should allow members greater access to complete travel reservations and the usage of point and travel cash on their own without having to connect to a representative. However some representatives are very helpful and should be on standby in the event the member needs additional help.

I have been part of the Westgate family since 2014 and was never introduced to the premium plus program, maybe because the program is new, but I must say that the introduction presented by Ms. Obregon was right on point. She was very thorough in explaining all aspects of the program and took the time to listen to my concerns. I really felt that she was being honest about how good the program is and offered her input how to make the program more efficient for me. For this is the reason for the score I provided.

The reason I gave the score because every time I called him to Westgate cruise and travel I get incorrect and false information. I have to call multiple times to get a representative that knows what they’re talking about.
The Cruise department does not let you combine bills flight for essence I have loyalty points with Cruz and travel and I am a red member with carnival they will not let me combine everything in one it’s either or I can go on and on with more reviews but I’m going to stop here.

When you first sign up for Westgate Cruise and Travel, even though you have to pay to be a member, the cruise certificates provided when signing up, were very helpful in paying for the overall cruise (BUT THEY SHOULDN’T HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE; DO BETTER WESTGATE).
My Stateroom Attendant, Sudakar, was wonderful; ALWAYS smiling! The staff in the Windjammer were so accommodating! My Barista, in the coffee house, remembered me every night; fixed my non-dairy, sugar-free cappuccino deliciously (EVERY TIME)! The location of my stateroom was perfect! I felt safe the whole time I was on the cruise! Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is definitely the cream of the crop!

Great rates and we had a lot of fun. Senior trip 2021 for 11 seniors and 6 parents. We rented an extra unit to accommodate everyone. The resort was also gracious in allowing us a late checkout. Will use again in the near future.

We purchased our membership a couple years ago and had never used it. We had a convention in Orlando and decided to use it. The process was simple and the guy on the phone was great. We stayed at Lake Bueno Vista resort. The resort was great, the room was awesome and we saved a lot of money which we spent on having fun. Great overall experience!!

The executive sales associate I worked with was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful and friendly and I would really recommend her to any other prospective customer. Any time I experienced an issue or question she was there to solve it. The only issue I experienced were when it came to making payments on my account. For some reason they couldn’t get my credit card 💳 information correct and I had to make several calls to them for my credit union to get the issue resolved and this happened every time I tried to make a payment. Other then that my experience was great.

I am very pleased with Westgate Cruise & Travel and used it everywhere. I didn’t give 5 stars because of a stay in Las Vegas where the Westgate Travel Club sales rep said that membership meant we would not pay the resort fee at the Westgate Hotel, but that was not the case if we booked through the Westgate Cruise & Travel. That was very disappointing.
However, other experiences— specifically with Ivan on our Portugal trip — which more than made up for it.

Our cruise was recently canceled due to Covid and they were super fast and helpful with getting us our refund. There was confusion at first as they also offered a future cruise credit vs a refund for their fees but once I explained we wanted all the money back were quick to adjust the refund amount to the full full refund. They are always the best price for cruises beating other fares from $200-$2300 depending on the room type in our case. Have used them for the past 10 years and will continue to do so in the future. Great care and customer service.

I would have been informed that there is a $20.00 administration fee for the representative completing my booking. I all wished I was able to use my awarded amount with the cash I had in place. There is just a lot of read between the lines things going on. The representatives are very polite and professional. I'd just wished the information you are seeing is clear and give you a warm and comfortable feeling.
In addition, I would like to receive better communications and offers on my Return on Investment (ROI) with Westgate Cruise & Travel Collection. I didn't know that Westgate Cruise & Travel Collection does a price match on hotels until a representative called me and answered my question after a previous survey. I was more a less surprised that the best prices are not being offered through Westgate Cruise & Travel Collections. I also don't care for that there didn't see where I am able to cancel a purchase on a hotel and to receive some sort of particle refund.

The $200 sounds great until you realize that you have to call to book and use it and in doing so are charged a fee reducing your benefit. Ended up being little better than just using my travel credits. Not being able to use both my vacation cash and travel credits was surprising as well. Seems like every benefit comes with a lot of fine print.

I needed to cancel our reservations for a cancelled Family Reunion. I canceled the non refundable room on July 2, 2020 and just got around to cancelling the flight itineraries this evening. I spoke with a very polite and professional young man named Carlos when I called. He called the airlines, Jet Blue and Cape Air. Jet Blue refunded our money, Cape Air said we could use said money for a year, unfortunately they don't fly out of anywhere near Georgia. It wasn't really a big deal as Carlos went above and beyond. After 90 minutes on the phone, I thanked him for his wonderful customer service. My phone started ringing about 30 minutes later and it said " Potential Spam ". I get many of these calls on a daily basis. The second call, I picked up and said something to the affect of "NO thank you, stop calling this number"!! 3 hours later I checked my phone and saw I had a voice mail from said 'spam' number.
It was Carlos calling back to let me know that he called Cape Air back and got them to refund my airfare. He mentioned me picking up the phone , saying something, and then hanging up.
This man went above and beyond his scope of customer service. I'm sorry that I thought you were a spam caller Carlos.

The pleasantness of all your staff; the courteousness I receive from all the people I have spoken to when booking vacations. When I have questions your representatives take the time to research my issues and return with accurate answers and suggestions. The ease of booking vacations, your beautiful resorts. One thing I really don't like though are the $519 redemption fees for the 3 cruise certificates I received when I prepaid my maintenance fees. I feel that's too much I also like the discounts I get when booking hotels and all the $5200 of travel credits I received when I prepaid my maintenance fees.

The only thing that we didn't like was that we wasted a half of a day talking to another sales person instead of enjoying our time there. We was told that we was going to get a tour around the property and have a buffet lunch which only consent of hot dogs and it ended up being 3 hours long.....if we would of knew this we would of not showed up to this. Few things could be tweaked... ie, the concierge lounge could use some music during happy hour.. labels for food.. and different (more variety) food options, condiments..(cheese, salsa, actual juice machines). I was told that I was going to save around a 30% on hotel bookings and so far I have only saved about 10%. It is great to speak about your product with all its perks, but you need to also walk the talk. All I have been doing with Westgate is pay dues, pay taxes, pay, pay and pay. I have not enjoyed my membership as much as I was told.

Riccardo Day is great. He explained things so I could understand. Then I got transferred.
First, when transferring to someone to handle things, please train people who can understand the problem and help rather than a 'sourced out' guy from India (he told me he was in India) who is reading off a script and not really much help.
The person the guy from India transferred me to wasn't much help either, but at least I could understand his English. He couldn't help me and just kept telling me no. He would tell me there are no rooms for members, however I was online with Expedia, Kayak and even Westgate hotel and told him I was looking at rooms. He said he didn't understand how that could be. Not much help and frustrated me.
When I got back with Riccardo, he explained it all to me and how it works. With explanation comes understanding and acceptance. Riccardo seemed to understand this and he elliminated my frustration level. He offered support for future bookings and I am happy with his help and assistance.
Please train your customer service people to give more explanation rather than just telling the customer no. I'm thinking you need more Riccardo's on staff.

My experience was the resort in Orlando was convenient, suitable with commensurate amenities for the amount paid. Even if you never left the compounds of the resort there would be plenty of activities. We didn't even take advantage of all the amenities afforded us as we had park passes and wanted to explore the neighboring areas. We met friendly people who have been owners for years and return to Westgate year after year meeting up with friends and relatives.

I have been an owner for some time. I love the resort prices. The hotels prices sometimes are a bit more than online prices so I make sure to price match ALWAYS. We recently booked at Westgate Las Vegas and to my surprise it was an amazing stay. No hassling from staff, very clean and customer service was amazing. Downfall as owners we still had to pay full price for buffet but we chose to go elsewhere for food. All in all though our stay was amazing and well worth the $175 we paid from 3/31/18-4/2/18!!!

This was my second trip to El Cid in Mazatlan. This time I took my grown children. I wanted to share the experience of Mexico with them. We had a wonderful time. The hotel accommodations were amazing. Everything you could ask for was just right there. Pool, beach, store, restaurants, medical facility (thank goodness we didn't need that) and entertainment. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The tours were well worth the price. My favorite is the tequila tour, where you learn how the tequila is made and free samples, also at lunch, you get to learn to make your own tortillas and salsa. The food was amazing. It was a lot of fun.

When I spoke with John (ex. 62546) on Monday, I got a lot of information from him. I told him that I had been looking at cruises but that I would have to talk with my husband and that I would call him back. I called him on Wednesday and left a message. He called me back and took a lot of information from me. Then he transferred me to Herman to get him to set up the cruise. Before talking with both of them I called my Carnival credit card and asked how much I could get off with the reward points I had on my card. I was told that I could get $50 off by using 5,000 points. Then I talked with Herman and he told me that the price of the cruise was coming down by more than half the price by using my some of my points, we decided to try out Westgate Cruise and Travel. Both gentlemen were very helpful in getting us to get to use our points. We are very satisfied with all the help they have given us.

I was under the impression that I'd get a discount on my airfare tickets that I booked through Westgate Cruise and Travel and it seems like they are pretty much the same price as if I bought them directly through the airlines myself. So I remain in the pondering stage when I consider the whole operation at this point. This was my first dealing with this agency, after being connected with them after a friend transferred a cruise certificate to me since he couldn't use it. As I normally do, I did background research to find out about the company, and upon seeing prior reviews, and performing additional analysis, I felt them legit enough to contact them. My friend had set up the basics of an account for me; I set up the remainder, then reached out to them as the certificate would be ending early in November 2018.
Chad became my agent, due to the fact that he answered the phone when I was connected to the cruise department. As I normally do when I'm making a cruise reservation, I got his information, extension, work hours as I'd need to connect with him again as things were set up.
Chad was quite nice from the time he started working with me. There was no language barrier, which is occasionally the case with some company reps and things have to be repeated more than once. Although I'm a cruise aficionado and keep track of the business on a close basis, Chad was still helpful as this was my first time arranging a Carnival cruise! I appreciated his friendliness, as well as him talking to me on a one-on-one basis so that it felt he was dealing with me as an individual, not just a nameless client. THIS is key with me, especially when it comes to making travel arrangements as detailed as those with say a cruise. I'm glad I had a chance to connect with him. He made the process way too simple! Yes, it helped that I've cruised before and know the various processes, but being able to work with someone who got a grasp for what I was aiming for made it all even better. I also appreciated that once he realized I had cruise experience, he didn't need to go into all the basics (Cruising 101), but could cover details in a normal manner. Another thing I liked was that - outside of travel insurance, which I always buy third-party - there was no high pressure to upgrade or buy other things above and beyond the application of the certificate toward a 4-day cruise. I had my research at hand, knew which itinieraries and ships I wanted to examine. He worked with me, obtained the needed pricing. I despise high pressure tactics, and was glad there was none.
I have a cruise agency I deal with on a regular basis (and have for 4 years), therefore, I don't know if I would use Westgate in the future for my cruise needs. This was a different case, and I'm happy to have had dealings with them. While I can't comment on their other travel services and resorts, I would hope each representative handles their clients as well as mine did. If so, they are a company worth checking into.

The hotel experience wasn't the greatest..the hotel was clean though. There was a fire alarm going off after MN the second night we stayed and we had to evacuate, waking up the kids and walking down the stairs hurriedly and I am pregnant. We had to be outside for over an hour while the fire company was trying to figure out what was going on. Not even 10 hrs later, another fire alarm went off that morning at approximately 1015 just as we were getting ready to check out meaning that we had to evacuate again and so we checked our almost midday due to the whole fire process. This was soo inconveniencing and tiring especially for the kids. After all that, the receptionist told me she couldn't do much for me in the matter of compensation as I had booked the hotel through Expedia or whatever the site it was when I tried to inquire about compensation.

Raul Souza was awesome. As far as the website to set our own travel plans, it needs much improvement. Also, why can we only use a certain percentage of our travel credits towards a booking? It seems we should be able to use the travel credits any way we want. Booking the Westgate resorts is also a pain online, there should be more availability. I can't book it online to get the great rate that was pushed while getting us to sign up because there is no availability. But, I can call the resort and the dates are available. Is there only a select number of rooms available for paid members? I can book my own vacation through Priceline or other sites and it is either near the same or cheaper. So far, I'm not impressed with the travel club. Show me something that is actually a benefit and that I cannot get cheaper on my own.

Some of the travel pricing on various options especially cruises seem to have the same price or more than just booking online with the cruiseline or a booking site. Also, I was sent an email with instructions to call the number listed on the email for a bonus and to add family and friends. When I called I was transferred three times stating I need to choose a specific option number but was continually transferred to the wrong area so I hung up due to time constraints. I have always thought that when customers purchase a membership all aspects and rules be explained thoroughly and not so much lefy up to the customer to figure out too late if they have questions.

Westgate Cruise is associated with INTERVAL iNTERNATIONAL. another travel agent that also promises thousand of inventories, but when you request one there is nothing available but is given first to nonmembers who would pay more than members. Same thing, same method. This business regard members have deep pockets, for a lot of hidden add on fees. Oftentimes non-members, get a better deal soliciting for repeat business. Love and protect your members, make members happy and proud of memberships.

It was either Westgate Cruise & Travel or Princess Cruises that got my name and birth date mixed up on our air tickets,and booking on the Ruby Princess . It took 6 phone calls to WG and the Princess to get it straighten out. When we checked in to board the Ruby my son's passport Number was on my boarding pass. It took my wife and myself 1/2 hour waiting to check-in because of this screw-up. A GREAT WAY TO START or vacation (not).

ONE WOULD BE THE DRINK PACKAGE AND HAVING TO REQUIRED ALL CABIN MEMBERS TO PURCHASE REGARDLESS IF THE OTHERS DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL OR SODA. SO THEY HAVE THE EASY PACKAGE AND THE PREMIUM. THE EASY ALLOWS ALL SODA, COFFEE, CHEAP WATER (LOL), AND WINE/ALCOHOL UP TO $6 ONLY. THE PREMIUM IS EVERYTHING YOU WANT. WE DID THE 7 DAY CRUISE, SO THE PRICE WAS $427 FOR THE PREMIUM, AND $217 EASY. IT'S ACTUALLY MORE IF YOU PURCHASE THE 1ST DAY. WE GOT IT THE 2ND NIGHT SO IT WAS A LITTLE LESS. WE ACTUALLY GOT IT THE 1ST NIGHT, BUT WEREN'T GIVEN THE CORRECT INFO SO IT WAS REMOVED AND REPURCHASED. ANYWAYS BESIDES THE DRINK PACKAGES (WHICH WASN'T ALL THAT BAD ONLY FOR THOSE WHO DON'T WANT ONE AND HAVE TO BUY DUE TO THEIR POLICY) WE LOVED EVERYTHING. THE OTHER WOULD BE THE TIME IN SOME OF THE DESTINATIONS. WE GOT TO PR LAST MONDAY AROUND 5PM AND STAYED UNTIL 1AM. I FEEL WE SHOULD BE THERE EARLIER TO ENJOY MORE DURING DAYLIGHT INSTEAD NIGHT. ST THOMAS WAS 12 HOURS AND HONESTLY IT COULD'VE BEEN 7 AND THAT WOULD'VE BEEN ENOUGH TIME. ST MAARTEN WAS 7 HOURS AND I WOULD'VE RATHER HAD MORE HOURS THERE INSTEAD. THE BAHAMAS WAS BEAUTIFUL AND ALSO 7 HOURS WHERE IT COULD'VE BEEN A LITTLE MORE TOO. BESIDES ALL THAT WHICH WASN'T SOMETHING THAT WE WOULD SAY MESSED UP OUR VACATION. I WOULD 1000000% CRUISE WITH MSC SEASIDE. I LOVE THE QUALITY OF EVERYTHING FROM THE CABIN, EVERY ACTIVITY, SHOWS, FOOD, AND OMG THE STAFF THAT WE MET WERE THE MOST AMAZING PPL WHO I KNOW WE'LL KEEP IN TOUCH AND WANT TO COME BACK TO SEE THEM AGAIN. Although I enjoy using Westgate Cruise and Travel, I would expect agents to contact me when the fare I have paid either goes down and I am entitled to purchase at a lower price, or there are bonus upgrades available. I purchased a Norwegian Cruise Line transatlantic voyage out of New York, as did my son and daughter-in-law. If it wasn't for my daughter-in-law's persistence, an upgrade that we were entitled to would never have been gotten.. There was no further contact from Westgate Cruise and Travel following the initial purchase of the cruise, and a good travel agent would be on top of offers that will help their customers. I can't say that Westgate Cruise & Travel goes out of their way to attempt unsolicited actions except when attempting to upgrade memberships to a Premium membership. There is no follow up after the purchase of a cruise when upgrades become available. The after-sale is important when upgrades become available. Not just Westgate Cruise and Travel upgrades!

Westgate has timeshare property but they also have other levels of membership that don't get you stuck in the money pit that is just part of normal timeshare.
