Reviews of French Quarter Phantoms Ghost Tours New Orleans
Stephanie Polakowski
Garden tour with Lee was excellent! He was a great storyteller and had an outgoing, fun personality. He made the tour great! I recommend this tour if you want to see all the beautiful mansions and different styles of architecture of the residential areas. You get to meet at a coffee shop off Magazine St. I would recommend taking time to walk up and down Magazine street after the tour is over to check out some artsy shops, food choices, and to see local foliage and gardening styles in front porches.

We had such a great time on our first tour, we booked a second! Our tour guide, Andrea, was engaging and insightful. She answered all our questions and was super knowledgeable about the rich history of New Orleans. The “saints and sinners” tour was particularly cool to go in depth about some of the grittier history of the city. From the two for one drinks with ticket purchase to the staff and the content of the tour, we highly recommend french quarter phantoms for your trip to Nola!! :)

My boyfriend and I went on the Garden District Tour with Lee as our guide and we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. Lee’s background in historic preservation, architecture, as well as his personal history and anecdotes made this an amazing tour to be a part of!! I would highly recommend this tour group to anyone visiting Nola and would also suggest asking when Lee is working. Please be sure to tip the tour guides as they walk you through New Orleans history!!
PS- the Buckner Mansion is not formally on the tour, however Lee was kind enough to walk a couple of us over to the home and discuss its history after** the tour!
Thanks Lee for such an amazing experience!

Such a fun way to learn more about the city and find historic places! The Ghost and Vampire tour was great for our entire group. Andrea was very knowledgeable and personable! The only downside was from the bar location, not the tour. We were charged both times for hurricanes even though we were told they were BOGO. With no time to argue about it with the tour beginning, we paid to make sure we didn’t miss anything. Not a big deal, but a bit of a let down. Highly recommend taking the tour!

We went in 1-22-22 while in NOLA for my 50th. Wife scheduled the tour (I'm admittedly a ghost skeptic, but I actually have been a vampire enthusiast since I was 7 years old and my Ma dressed me as Dracula for Halloween back in 1979... And then reading Bram Stoker's book in high school fortified my interest... but I digress). Met up at the Voodoo Lounge around dusk prior to the beginning of the tour and had the promo buy-one-get-one Hurricane (in the souvenir plastic black cup 🤓) and waited for the tour guide to show. Our group was big so they split us into two smaller groups. Our tour guide was Jeremiah and I'm not entirely sure what his full-time job is but I could absolutely see him as a college professor (the kind you remember as being a fun class, not the stuffy kind that puts you to sleep in the lecture hall. Really cool tour guide with a smart sense of humor). After seeing a couple mansions where creepy stuff occurred, plus the Jackson Hotel, a third floor apartment, a bar where a barmaid hanged herself, and a convent where vampires gorged on immigrant virgin blood, I'm not sure I'm any more of a believer in ghosts, but it was a really fun time and definitely did have a spooky factor to it. And it also gave a whole new feel to the French Quarter after dark. Definitely will do another tour next time we get down to the Big Easy.

Came for the tour for the 8pm slot so the sky gets dark enough. The tour guide was funny and well-dressed. Very atmospheric. Some of the stories feel too brief though, such as certain certain lady hanged her self here, or died here so the house is haunted, period.. in the end, the only interest story was just the most famous one about madam Lalaurie. Also, the group we went with felt too big to be interactive and engaging.

We are so grateful to have taken the Tour Tremè. Erin has committed to scholarly inquiry about a part of tragic but incredible history-and she has skillfully woven it into a seamless narrative including recordings she plays on her Bluetooth speaker while leading the walking tour. The history she shares has been neglected, intentionally hidden, but is such a beautiful integral part of New Orleans. Although unique to NOLA, it echoes histories of countless American cities. The experience was remarkable-educational, cultural and humorous. Erin said several times, "I love it when the culture interrupts the culture I am trying to talk about." We left angry, inspired and jovial all at the same time.
DON'T MISS THIS

Jeremiah took us on a ghost and vampire tour and it was awesome!!! He was very knowledgeable about every stop and went out of his ways to answer any and all questions. After the tour he showed us where American Horror Story Coven was filmed!!!! Highly recommend this tour!!!!!

A Must Activity to do when you're at NOLA, if you visit during December the weather supports their ghost stories by adding Fog everywhere and gives a lot more spooky vibes. Erin was the best and her sense of humor is out of the world 😂. This was my best memory and favorite activity that I did at New Orleans …
Nikita Kakade
This was the best part of the trip. Andrea was my tour guide. She is a great storyteller and has good recommendations about the place/history/news. She is super enthusiastic and lively ❤️. I would definitely bring all my friends back here !!
Olivia Wicker
This experience was all that I hoped for an more! Our tour guide, Te-Erika was so knowledgeable about the history of the city, and she was an incredible story-teller. She was able to tell some difficult stories in a way that didn’t romanticize them, but was honest and impactful. I was SO impressed. I will recommend this to anyone going to New Orleans.
Mindy Dixon
This was the best tour we have ever done! Mia was such an amazing, funny and informative guide...WE LOVE HER! I definitely recommend this to anyone!
Gaurav Hegde
The tour was decent .
Our guide could have been better .
The four five spots they covered was good but i am positive there are more spooky spots .
I think a different guide with a better hang of storytelling would have been a better experience!
Tony Alredo
The entire tour was just fabulous. Adelai (the blue haired girl) was just a delight. The amount of facts she put out was superlative. Her knowledge and humorous delivery kept my mind and attention engaged the entire tour. Also to mention, and this particular part was what I greatly appreciated. And in writing this in an effort to match her felicity of expression. Her manner of speaking brought a small tear to my eye. Thank you, Ms. Adelai, for the fantastic tour and your marvelous articulation of history.
Alejandra Reinaga (HeyAleChufly)
We had an amazing experience with Nola Ghost Riders! We booked via Groupon and it was super easy. The tour started very on time, and our tour guide Fernando was awesome and super funny! We had a blast!
Joshua Fullen (IcarusRises)
We did a private tour with Mike last night and it was so much fun. Great and terrifying history of the French Quarter and New Orleans. A nice easy walk around the quarter. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Mike!
Kelly D'Angelo
This was an awesome tour! YahYah was really entertaining and informative, she kept us captivated the entire time. Worth the money, I would go again.
Plus the bar where it starts gives you a hurricane pre-mixed from an old juice jug, and it's honestly the best hurricane I had the whole time we were in New Orleans.
Susana Gonzalez
Leonard was a great tour guide! Very knowledgeable and funny! We had an amazing time during our tour.
Melissa Jorna
This tour is great from start to finish! Start out by grabbing your wrist bands past the bar, that will allow you to get your BOGO 1/2 off Hurricanes in a souvenir cup! Warning: bar accepts cash only after 8 PM. The tour was a longer tour that allowed for a bathroom/bar stop! Bobby was exceptional! He had such great knowledge of the history of New Orleans which left us craving for more!
Wear comfortable shoes, show up ontime, and be ready with a fan if you go when it’s hot!
A Hurricane is a red juice with rum drink
Derek Smith
Had a blast on the Ghost and Vampire tour! Phill was extremely entertaining and educational. The BOGO Hurricane special at The Voodoo Lounge added to the fun all the more!
Noura Adham
We had a Treme tour with Erin, she was awesome! Funny and informative…
We also had Saint and Sinners tour with Andrea, who was loud enough to hear everything she says with the cars passing, she was very informative as well.
We still have two tours to go with FQP. I’ll update 😃 …
Lauren McCoy
French Quarter Phantom’s Ghost and Vampire tour was INCREDIBLE! Ghost, vampire, and IMMERSIVE HISTORY in a two hour waking tour. Our guide, Dylan, was a radical storyteller- weaving folklore and evidenced history beautifully and wildly. A true historian. Two hours went by in a blink- we could have had an entire day tour and still been wow’ed and entertained. Highly recommend the Ghost and Vampire tour, recommended to us by Southern Living Magazine and Discovery Channel!
Robert Bennett
My partner and I went on the French Quarter ghost and vampire tour on our fight night in New Orleans. Despite being pretty tired after a long series of flights from the West Coast, our tour guide Justin kept our attention with a combination of ghost stories mixed with the history of the local area. Overall a great start to the trip and an amusing telling of the history of the French Quarter. Would recommend.
Eric Van Nostrand
Our tour guide Phil, was great for the Treme tour. Very informative and knowledgeable and very open to questions from the group. His knowledge of the history of the area was impressive. I would recommend this tour company and Phil.
Tifani Largaespada
These guys were wonderful. Came with a Bachelorette party and couldn't have been happier with the experience. We got to learn a lot about the area along with getting some spooky stories.
The guide we had was nice and made sure everyone could hear him even though it was a huge group of people. I see why these folks are popular.
Make sure to get there early for the bogo hurricanes!
B E Padgett
We loved our phantom ghost and vampire tour. I learned a lot about New Orleans and some of it's darkest history. Our tour guide YahYahUniverse was an excellent story teller and very engaging. I appreciated the stop midway for restrooms and another drink to take a long the tour. You start off in the voodoo lounge and the tour includes a buy one get one free hurricane drink in a souvenir cup. Really enjoyed our time and thanks to yahyah for making it memorable.
Quinn B
We took two tours in two days: the Ghost+Vampire tour and the Garden District tour. The Ghost+Vampire tour was captivating but not really my thing, and I felt like they sold a few too many tickets. Having said that, Justin, our guide, was clearly knowledgeable and excited to share his knowledge and experiences with us. He focused on history as much as the paranormal, so I felt there was something for everyone. The Garden District tour was much smaller, and I liked being able to interact more with our guide. Lee was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to share his stories and experiences in the Garden District. It was god-awful hot, but Lee managed to keep us in the shade as much as possible and arranged a mid-tour break where we could purchase a cold drink. Highly recommend this tour company.
MP
We were able to partake in two tours on Friday. In the morning, we did the Garden District tour with Lee and we had an absolute blast! Lee is so knowledgeable and SO funny! He is such a lovely person and so personable. We loved everything about him! In the evening we did the Ghost and Vampire tour with Katherine. She is such a great storyteller- so passionate and respectful! She did her absolute best to wrangle 25+ people and make our experience special in the chaos of a Friday night in the French Quarter. So, I would 100% recommend to take any of the night tours early in the week. I personally was overwhelmed with the bedlam on Friday night (sometimes very difficult to hear) with the MANY tours happening simultaneously on top of the normal French Quarter shenanigans.
Rylee Berti
We had a great time doing the Saints and Sinners tour with Andrea. She was honest and real, as well as knowledgeable. She was able to give multiple explanations or sides to stories. She did a great job and the sights and stories were wonderful. We would recommend this affordable and interesting experience to anyone coming to NOLA!
Katherine Cornell
My mom and I went on the Ghost tour of the French Quarter and absolutely loved the entire experience! Kathryn was our tour guide and provided vivid stories and accurate historical background information of several famous haunted sites. She was excellent in captivating our attention and interacting with the audience. I highly recommend this tour as part of your trip to NOLA!! I’m leaving the city with so much appreciation and respect for its history from participating in this tour.
Lilian Schimmel
The Saints and Sinners tour was fantastic! Our guide, Erin, was so enthusiastic, funny and knowledgeable! It’s a great tour full of info that really puts a lot into perspective about the city’s roots. This was one of the first things we did and it gives some great context for the rest of your New Orleans adventure! Highly recommend!!!
LaDonis Malcolm
My friend and I did the Voodoo tour with Lee and he was one of the best highlights of our entire NOLA trip! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and animated. He made us laugh and taught us several things we did not know. He even stayed a few minutes after the tour ended to give us some recommendations for other things to do and see in the area. It was a fantastic experience!
Morgan Bertovic
Incredible tour from Erin! We took the French Quarter History and Voodoo tour during the day. Erin was extremely knowledgeable and very thoughtful when discussing some of the tough history items that come along with the history of New Orleans.
I wish I had time to go on another one, I learned so much that I did not know about. All with grace and a bit of humor to bring us back to earth and keep it light hearted. Our group happened to be pretty interested in the architecture of the city and Erin rose to the occasion and brought out all the facts!
Thanks again! It was a great time :)
Kristi Stringer
We went on two tours and had incredible experiences with both! Erin was so wonderful and knowledgeable, I could listen to her talk all day about Saints and Sinners. Katherine was wonderful as our ghosts and vampires, so respectful of the stories about the people but still gave me chills. I would definitely do more next back we are in town!
Jami Killmaster
Our tour guide was Adelai and she was very engaging and enthusiastic! My 12 year old listened the entire time and only got on his phone when we stopped for the break halfway through. She was very knowledgeable about the ghosts and vampires of New Orleans as well as the city itself. I highly recommend taking a tour with her.
Harlan Bates
The guide was knowledgeable in a bunch of different areas pertaining to New Orleans history. He talked to fast for my wife to understand sometimes but then again English is a second language for my wife who is from Thailand. But we had a good time walking the streets and seeing the sights and hearing stories about what we were looking at. I definitely recommend this to others coming to New Orleans.
Joseph Johnson
Had a good time with Katherine the storyteller. Being from Baltimore we are full of ghost stories and also close to Gettysburg which is another one of the most haunted locations in the country......so we love ghost stories. The French Quarter is a beautiful place with lush history.......tragic and dramatic and yet artful and inspiring. The naysayers leaving negative reviews obviously have never experienced a ghost The tour was fun and a good time had by all.
Carly Ogdahl
Our tour guide was fantastic! Jeremiah was super friendly, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. We enjoyed the tour. The Hurricane was delicious too. Highly recommend this tour. Wish we had more time to do a night tour too.
Elizabeth Leeper
Hope was our tour guide for the ghost and vampire tour. She had lots of interesting information. She told her stories in a great style that was intriguing, upbeat and interesting. She made sure to keep the tour personable and educational. We really enjoyed this walking tour!
Kate Burnley
Amazing tour, so incredibly informative!! We did the saints and sinners tour. We all had a great time and were so impressed with the insane amount of knowledge the tour guide dropped on us, as well as the extremely impressive and amusing way he presented it! Highly recommend. 6 stars.
T G
I attended the French quarter history Tour and saints+sinners Tour with Justin. He is the type of guide who is definitely passionate about the topics and is shows in his colorful storytelling and humor.
I took the Vampire+Ghost tour as well. I could tell Jennifer tried her best, but she didn't seem as relaxed in her approach and some stories felt too brief or unclear. I am unsure if the stories could've been explained differently or if different stories could've been incorporated.
I would still recommend this company to other tourists. With almost any tourist business, it's always going to depend on who is assigned. I still learned a lot of fascinating points in New Orleans dark history which is exactly what I came here for.
Kathryn Chapman
Kathryn was an amazing tour guide! As a French Quarter native, she knew everything about everything and was so excited to share it with us. She was an incredible story teller, and I loved hearing about the dark history of this awesome city. Highly recommend for people of ALL ages!!
Stasia Kneisley
We did 2 tours here and they were both so much fun!! We did the ghost tour with Jennifer and the saints and sinners tour with Erin. Both tour guides were amazing! Both Erin and Jennifer are so educated in the history of New Orleans and we got to learn so much from them!
Sabrina Houchins
We had Lee for our tour and he was the absolute BEST tour guide. Personal experience, great personality, and amazing story teller. His knowledge of the architecture also added a lot of enjoyment to the tour. Thanks for the laughs and insight!
Holly Kerr
Lee was the BEST!!! Funny, knowledgeable, and very talented! Best walking tour I've been on! I can't say enough good things about this tour - it was so good, we wanted to go on another tour with Lee, but he wasn't scheduled to work the rest of the time we were in New Orleans. Loved it!!! Learned a few things too...
Colleen S
Group of 9 woman took this tour on 9/5/22 with Jeremiah as the tour guide. He did a great job, was very informative and entertaining and really seemed to know his stuff. The tour has a lot of walking, but you are stopping and standing quite a bit and there was plenty of shade to help with the heat. Everyone enjoyed the tour and we would recommend.
Bobby
Just did the saints and sinners tour with our tour guide named Bobby, and I’ll tell u what, I thought it was going to be some boring old tour for 2 hours but man was I wrong. 2 hours literally felt like 30 mins because we were all just laughing and having good drinks and learning the savage but cool history of New Orleans! I had a blast and it was because of Bobby and I’d definitely recommend taking a tour with him and learning all about the city. Thanks again man cheers!
Liz mantione
Went on the French Quarter history/voodo tour with Lee and had a great time! He shared so many interesting and fun stories and facts. I will definitely be doing another tour with them when I'm back in town. Highly recommend!!
Oksana Firsova
Never was attracted to group tours, but decided to join a group for a Haunted tour))
Our guide Richard Kemp was outstanding, so inspired by Nola and its creepy stories and legends, fun to listen, even through the pouring rain we felt engaged and willing to go on.
Experience is great above and beyond, the hostess of the French quarter Phantoms was very nice to give us a call when we were running a few minutes late and tell we still have 5 minutes)) saved us a lot of nerves)
Nice work y'all!!!! Definitely will recommend and go on another tour on my next visit to Nola 🎵🎶🎭🥳
Ben Moser
We did a ghost tour with TeErika last night through the quarter. She was absolutely amazing and her passion and knowledge for her stories really shined through. She had the perfect balance of giving us the chills while keeping us laughing. I would absolutely recommend this tour and her as a guide as a must when visiting New Orleans!
Robert Levinson
An nice introduction to the creepier side of New Orleans. Our guide Kelsey was super enthusiastic and knew her stuff. We were a bit disappointed that there was not more - only four stops after the initial lengthy meeting. I think the tour could have been structured better to visit more places, hear more stories and less time on each. Goodness, New Orleans has so many creepy places and stories, it felt like we just scratched the surface. Kelsey is a 5 Star guide, but the tour is a 4 Star due its lopsided content of too few places and too much at each (for a 90 min tour).
Alex killmaster
Had a great time with our tour guide Adelai, loved her enthusiasm and humor, one of the best tours I have ever been on highly recommend!!
Jennifer Kong
Our Garden District Tour was led by Dylan. Dylan was a wealth of knowledge. I appreciated how he made sure the group could hear him and kept us safely off the street and out of the way of pedestrians. The tour was interesting. It was a long tour but I would have gone for longer!
Amanda Bilanzich
Went on two tours.
Ghost and Vampire tour with Justin. Fun tour at night. Interesting info. A bit frustrating that sometimes there were SO many other group tours that we were unable to stop in front of the site we were discussing. Justin was great though!
Saints and Sinners tour was super interesting. We went during the day with guide AG. She was a wealth of information. Love that she could speak to so many details. Less other tours meant it was easier to see specific sites without fighting crowds.
We’d probably do both in the day next time. Overall tours were just okay-not very focused on the actual sights, the guides are really the value.
Minnie Elizabeth Cruz
Ghosts & Vampires Tour with Mia was FANTASTIC! Mia was very personable and spunky. She kept our attention throughout the entire tour. I would recommend her and this tour for anyone! Worth every penny!
Rachael Weaver
It was my first time in New Orleans, so my mom and I wanted to do a tour. We decided to book the ghosts and vampires tour at 8pm. It was a fair bit of walking (so wear the right shoes), but our tour guide was so knowledgeable and even had pictures of some of the sites! That made her stories even more real. Definitely worth a visit. Such a good deal and so much historical information. Check it out everyone!
Here are my pictures of unexplained things from the tour. The yellow building is the Andrew Jackson hotel and the brick building is down the way from the LaLaurie house.
Rachael Meyer
Lee was the best guide we could have asked for. He was so knowledgeable and full of energy. It was the absolute best way to spend a breezy day in NOLA. I cannot recommend this tour or him enough!
Rita Wade
Phil was amazing!!! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Treme. He made the tour more enjoyable by how he told of different accounts as how he allowed us to be engaging in asking questions. He is definitely the right man to represent a faceless, voiceless people. I’m already planning to come back and do another tour!!!!!
Andrea A
It was a great way to start our New Orleans trip by getting the lay of the land. We were lucky to get a cloudy night w drizzle here and there . Loved the spooky history around the French quarter. The bogo hurricanes were one of the best I tried during my stay. Looking back there a green orbs in some of my pics 👀 …
Valeria Bendeck
This was a great informative tour. Me and my friends really enjoyed it. Katherine was our tour guide and she made the experience super pleasant. Would recommend if you want actual facts!
Lauren Carlson Cannata
Truly amazing. Dylan was our guide and he had an outstanding knowledge of NOLA and the French quarter. The tour was informative, fun, and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!!
Shelby Teets
We had an awesome time on our private tour! Our guide, Phil was super fun and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us awesome local recommendations and went above and beyond to make our evening fun!!
Kiera Wolff
Lenard was AMAZING! He had tons of information about ghost and vampires throughout the city. He was super funny and a great tour guide. Highly recommend this tour and him!!!
Aubrey
French Quarter tour with Mia was fun, informative, and humorous. She went into great detail about every stop and we even got to do a bar stop. Would go again just to hear her stories!
Brad Hopewell
Highly recommend! We did the Ghost and Vampire tour; Mia was an amazing guide with lots of great history and stories along the way. We'll definitely check out other tours with French Quarter Ghost Tours next time we're in town.
Erin Tighe
Ms. Catherine took us on the Ghosts and Vampires tour and yall she is amazing! She's knowledgable and entertaining to listen to because her passion for these stories and little glances back in history show. Definitely recommend taking one of their tours and can't wait to come back and go on another one!
Jasminka Koleva
I had Go City pass and as part of it I choose to do the Ghosts and Vampire tour and Saints and sinners tour. And this became the highlight of my trip to New Orleans!
First I love French Quarters Phantoms more than other ghost tour companies because they never asked for credit card on file unlike others that I called. That gave me peace of mind.I did made it to both tours on time. And let me tell you, this was one of the best experiences in my life! The people at the check in were very nice, the bathender at the Vampire cafe also, here you can ask for souvenir cup to take home if you dont want to order the 2 for 1 Hurricane deal wich by the way it’s great deal.
On the tour Ghosts and Vampires out tour guide was Katrin and she was amazing! She told us great ghost and vampire stories that I will never forget not just because of the stories themselves which are all proven facts they are true and really huppened and Katrin took us to the exact places where they huppened but mostly because Katrin is such a good tour guide that she will visualize everything for you and will take you to back to that time when it huppened. She made my tour memorable.
On the Saints and Sinners tour Justin was our tour guide and let me tell you he has exceptional knowledge not just about the tour but he is walking encyclopedia of New Orleans! He will go above and beyond and will tell you not just about the saints and sinners and some things you probably never heard before but extra information about anything and everything you want to know!
He is one of kind tour guide and his tours are big value for the money.
I definitely recommend French Quarter Phantoms and can’t wait to go back to New Orleans and do more of their tours!
Daniel Fox
We did 2 tours with them, a History and voodoo tour, and Ghost and Vampire tour. Both were fun and the guides were excellent. It isn't very much walking and we learned a lot about the History, and folklore!
CMURPHY
It was just ok. Our guide, Te-Erica, was a superb story teller, but she only really told about 5 stories in an almost 2 hr tour. Tour did not start on-time which is unusal for tours. Booking was easy, and communication was excellent. I jave been on other tours in NO and other cities, and this particular one was just ok. Typical well--known stories. If you know nothing about NO history, this is the tour for you. Otherwise, go with another company.
Des
The Treme tour was out of this world. If you love history and you love New Orleans you need to take this tour. Learning about African American history, jazz history, and more with Erin was a delight.
AUSTIN FLOYD
10 stars for Yah Yah. The perfect mix of fun, knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining. We were uncertain how much we would be into this type of thing but we’re absolutely sucked in and thrilled from the very beginning and remained captivated the entire time. She deserves a raise! We’ll be back and recommend others to this tour specifically because of her!
Martanda Blancard
We chose the saints and sinners tour. She was articulate and enlightened us on the history of nouvelle Orléans. A fun guide no doubt. Overall it was PG rated. I would not advertise it as R rated; far from it! It was a fun activity to do regardless.
Melissa Bowman
What a great tour that builds intensity . Katherine was passionate, informative, and really had us so involved and intrigued as a group. A lot of spooky fun and def worth doing again !
Audrey Brunell
I did the Cemetery #1 tour with a big group of friends. We all loved it and highly recommend. We had Malika as a tour guide and wow - I'm glad we got matched to her! She was so knowledgeable about the history of the Cemetery and New Orleans in general. Her speaking style was awesome - attention-grabbing and not cheesey at all. The tour was about an hour and a half long but felt shorter because of how interesting it was. There is a 10 min break in the tour to use the restrooms and check out the gift shop. The cemetery itself is very sunny and hot - wear sunscreen, that was my only mistake. Wear stable shoes, as well - the ground in the cemetery is uneven (and you will learn all about why!) Malika's respect and passion for the subject was contagious. Thank you for a great experience!
Robert H
The stops on the tour were interesting send informative, but the true star was our guide Lee. He had great energy and really loved the stories he was sharing. That made the experience for my wife and I. Ask for him and tip well - he's worth it.
Danielle Lopez
Jeremiah was great. And it ended up being a private tour, just my party. He answered all our questions and walked us through the garden district. Only problem was the a bit of rain. But that was mother nature's problem.
Dawn Christon
Took the French Quarter History and Voodoo tour. Bobby was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and hilarious. Had a great time.
Johnna Phillips
Kathryn was amazing! We had a great time. Both my children (12 and 15) enjoyed as did my husband and I.
Brent Watson
Awesome tour! Family friendly my sons were nervous, but the tour is so informational and balanced well with a strong creepy vibe! A definite must in New Orleans and hopefully you get blessed with Malika! Malika rocked the tour and is a gem to the city!
Mary Cait Milliff
great tour! I did the French Quarter History and Voodoo tour and it was super super interesting! I learned a lot about the history of the french quarter and of voodoo in a super informative and thoughtful way
Luke Slott
If you want a tour with detailed information about the architecture and locality, THIS IS IT !
jack Chatters
We had yah yah as our tour guide and although we had to leave early I will say she was amazing, great personality and I loved her outfit
If y'all come to new Orleans and do a ghost tour you'll be lucky to get Yah yah
Annie Cizadlo
This was a super fun walking tour of the French Quarter. Billie Thomas was our guide and he was hilarious and very personable and entertaining on the entire tour.
Sheiva Morgenstern
Good job on both tours. We took the garden and st Louis cemetary tours. Very informative and courteous. They know their stuff. Bring cash for tips, they deserve it. They can take card tips via another app but cash is king. Ps, bartender at their meet up, I think her name was Liz, was very good and sweet. Nice bar selection and we loved their music.
kristin graham
Went on the tour in the Garden District and Erin was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable about the history and architecture and she was funny and such a joy to hang out with.

French Quarter Phantoms is the coolest. It's located in the back of this bar called the Voodoo lounge and when we were there - just a week before Christmas - they were playing punk and (punk) Christmas music which really added to the atmosphere. Everyone from the bar to the box office to the tour guides themselves is so friendly and nice! We felt welcome immediately and that only made my excitement for my long-awaited cemetery tour grow.
The weather was perfect for touring the cemetery - it was overcast and a bit chilly on December 15. Justin was our guide for this tour and he was just fantastic. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the city and its immensely rich history, he's funny, personable, and really kind. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our tour and I absolutely loved learning about the burial process (I suppose that sounds morbid, but GO DO THE TOUR AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND) and seeing just how beautiful the St. Louis Cemetery Number One really is in real life. It really exceeded all of my expectations and I can't recommend it enough. PLUS! Later that evening, we got engaged, so Justin's tour will forever be part of our story.
We loved the atmosphere at French Quarter Phantoms so much that we went back the following evening for the Ghost and Vampire tour. We happened to see Justin at the box office and shared our news with him before starting our tour with Luke. I'm a big reader and I really appreciated being able to talk about books and certain literary devices while walking through the French Quarter with Luke to the first haunted destination. Every step of the way on this tour was enchanting and exciting. Between stories of ghosts, vampires, murderers, and pirates, it truly seemed like we were walking through the pages of a well-read book. Luke was absolutely delightful! He is smart, witty, and so easy to be around.
Having taken two tours with French Quarter Phantoms with two different guides, I can confidently say that they're the only tour company I would recommend to friends and family visiting my new favorite city. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I would give them an infinite amount of stars! I can't wait to visit the city again and take the Treme and Garden District tours that I didn't have time for.

STEVE! Our tour guide was awesome. So full of knowledge, got the group involved, was able to make it hilarious while still keeping the jokes within the context of the part of the tour we were on. It is so refreshing to have a guide who truly has a passion for telling these stories, and deep rooted love for this amazing city. The price of the tour was great, the staff in the bar/reception area were great, and again, Steve our guide was great. Made everyone feel like a old friend, had a genuine smile on his face the whole time, has a ton of knowledge about the area. We will be back for more tours, and will request Steve again. Thank you so much!

The tour itself was informative, energetic, and all questions got answered quickly and with a great attitude. Our guide Dartania (probably the only name I remember from the whole trip) kept things interesting and fast paced and did her utmost to accommodate for the fact that it was HOT. No cloud cover in a cemetery with really no shade or trees.
This was the only "official" tour we tour the whole time we were in NOLA and as a whole I found it to be worth the time and money. You cannot enter St. Louis 1 without a licensed guide due to vandalism and I wanted to see the cemetery.
She kept it fun, witty, and still crammed a ton of amazing information into the tour without anyone falling over from heat exhaustion. Truly an impressive feat.
Pro Tip: Bring some shade and lots of water with you like the smart tour guides do if you're visiting during the summer months.

We did the Voodoo and History of the French Quarter tour, and had a great time. Tour guide Phill was excellent and did a wonderful job detailing the history of New Orleans, the French Quarter, and more.

Our Great tour guide Bob was very informative. He had a lot of knowledge about the history and had great vampires and ghost stories. Most of which I believe are very true. Actually facts. I will definitely be doing another tour with them when I return. Thanks for the great time
Traci Matkoski
I absolutely amazing tour. I learned so much about the above ground cemetery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed his job. If your on the fence about taking the St Louis Cemetery #1 tour...DO IT!!!

We took the 8pm Christmas Night Ghosts and Vampire tour this year. It conveniently left out of the back of the Voo Doo Lounge on N. Rampart. We had our 12-year-old son with us, and they have a “family friendly” room in the back so you are not waiting in the bar area. We were lucky to have Catherine as our tour guide. Catherine is a lifelong local and really knew a lot of history. It was great not to have a showy character wielding guide. She is just a regular person who is passionate about the city and its history. She was honest and knowledgeable, and we truly learned a lot. There were several stops that related to hauntings or histories of murder and vampires, but also city, architectural and cultural history. We took a ghost tour from another company a few years ago, and this was better by far. On our bar/bathroom break, we waited outside with our son. Once Catherine learned that he played trumpet and liked Jazz, she lit up and shared even more stories with him and gave him recommendations of people to listen to and follow (which we are already doing). It really was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend the Ghost and Vampires tour with French Quarter Phantoms Ghost Tours, and if you are lucky enough to have Catherine as your host, be prepared for a wealth of knowledge and an hour and 45 minutes of fun!

We selected this tour company purely based on a street car ad. We were overwhelmed by all the options out there and decided to go with it. We went on a Ghost tour on Friday with Hope and then promptly signed up for a Cemetery Tour on Sunday with Dylan. Best $34 ($17 for each tour) I spent our whole trip in new orleans. These tours were so much fun and I learned do much. The tour guides were super engaging and knowledgeable about the topics. Dylan would go out of his way to share extra knowledge or facts if you were interested. During the 10 minute bathroom break we were looking at one of the paintings in the visitor building and Dylan came over to tell us about it and was so excited and enthusiastic to do so. The tours were well planned and orghanized overall and the guides did a great job with timing, projecting their voices, and being curtious to other groups and pedestrians. Definitely book a tour with this group on your trip! Make sure you get a drink for the Ghost Tour :)

We took the Sunday morning tour of St. Louis No. 1 and had a great experience. Our tour guide was Justin; he gave us some history on the city of New Orleans and told us some great stories about the occupants of the cemetery. This cemetery houses the remains of the famous Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, as well as Homer Plessy, Bernard de Marigny, and Ernest N. Morial. Justin also talked to us about the Protestant section that is off to the side of the cemetery; you are literally standing on top of graves in this section and it's definitely an interesting feeling!
Our tour lasted about 2 hours with a 10 minute break at the Basin St. Visitor Center in the middle. Obviously it's a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes, but it's not a strenuous walk and the tour guide pauses every couple of minutes to chat with the group. French Quarter Phantoms also offers other tours and we definitely plan to take another with them when we return to New Orleans in the future.

We went for the ghost and vampire tour. Our guide was Lee and he had this amazing way of telling the ghost stories with a good mix of humour. I was really fascinated with the stories and would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get a glimpse of the haunted side of New Orleans.
Crystal Findlay
Very interesting tour of the French quarter. AG was a fantastic tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the sordid history of New Orleans.
Bronsen K (FarmDeeLV)
Malika (sp?) was the guide for our French Quarter Cemetery tour and she was great. Great way to experience the St. Louis Cemetery #1 and get some history with it too. Very informative. Loved
Rob Wheat
Dillon was a great, funny, knowledgeable and theatrical tour guide… this tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to New Orleans…
Ryan Beverly
Some of the best tours around. They offer a wide variety of tours. We took the St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour. Definitely book with these guides. Miss Angela was awesome and didn't disappoint.
Mark Jimenez
I took two different tours with this business. The vampires and ghost tour was fun, spooky, and informative. I had a wonderful time thanks to the guide Dartanya. She was truly an amazing storyteller. The second tour we took was with Justin for the cemetery tour. He was very knowledgeable and excited to share as much as he could with us. I'm really happy I chose french quarter phantoms as my guide to the city.
Cathryn Kennedy
My friends and I took the 8pm Ghosts and Vampires tour here, it was very good. Our tour guide Bobby was awesome! He was a great story teller and really knowledgable about the cities history. I would definitely recommend this tour and ask for Bobby! The photos are some of the places we stopped at, with the spookiest of stories!
Christian Turkoanje
Justin was an awesome tour guide. He made the tour funny and informational. One of the best tours I took while here in New Orleans. Would definitely take another tour with these guys.
Blue Emerald
We went on both tours the cemetery and the saints and sinners tours. Our tour guide Eileen "Lina" was P H E N O M E N A L!!! We also had Justin and he was A W E S O M E!!! We got in-depth information about New Orleans. I'd highly recommend the tours.
Kari Perkins
If you love history and knowledgeable guides.. this is it! Took the Treme tour... awesome jazz guy and a guide who loves the neighborhood! Go Ducky!
They will not let me do 2 reviews, so I am adding to this one. Pirate Sam is also amazing. He knows so much about the people and places of the Garden district plus the inhabitants and culture of the cemetery.. I went back to the hotel to look things up.
Highly recommend both tours.
Your mom
Thank you Trish! I learned a LOT about NOLA cemeteries and everything ghost related. Got some AMAZING pictures! I will see y’all again soon!
Dave Letourneau
Always a great time. Each tour is different since you have a different guide. We have done the "same" tour many times and always get new information.
Tamela Johnston
We had such a great experience on the cemetery tour! Our guide SAM was very knowledgeable, fun and patient(We had young children on our tour with lots of questions) We learned so much more of New Orleans history from SAM! I would absolutely do this tour again and recommend it to anyone!
Carrie Browell
Great guides we took the Ghost and Vampire tour with Avian and it was terrific! You can tell that Avian did the reasearch and is very proud of the city. We enjoyed it so much we also booked the Cemetary tour the next day and it was just as good. Robert was very informative and just as proud of the history as well. I highly recommend this company for the tours I dont feel you can get anyone better! Again a big THANKS to Avian and Robert for making our anniversary vacation the best and to French Quarter Phantoms keep up the great work you are doing in my opinion you are the BEST! I did also rate and comment for the company on Yelp and Trip Advisor.
Thanks again, Carrie Browell from Illinois.
Kelli Tejchma
We had an amazing guide, Lee! He was a wonderful historian, an energetic and animated story teller and seemed to truly love what he was doing. He made our tour of the cemetery excellent!! Highly recommend the company and Lee :)
Elizabeth Montgomery
We had a wonderful tour of the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1! Our tour guide was very insightful and offered so much history that you would not learn on your own, and was able to answer all of our questions. The tour meets at the Voodoo Lounge, just a few blocks away. Make sure you bring sunscreen! Would highly recommend the tour.
Luke Barbarich
My wife and I took the tour earlier this month and had a really fun and educational time. Our guide was Adilae and she was awesome. So enthusiastic and funny with a good sense of humor but also gravity when it came to talking about some more serious subject matter. We both really enjoyed the tour and getting to learn more about the history of New Orleans.
Tré-Martell Brooks
The wife and i booked the ghosts and vampire tour with Te-Erica. She was GREAT the tour was full of New Orleans history and haunts. Te-Erica herself brought each story to life through her re-enacting and dramatic retelling. Not only did i learn something new on this tour but i got to learn a bunch of New Orleans Ghost stories and legends. Te-Erica was friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable about all things New Orleans. Next time im in town i look forward to booking another tour. 10/10 would recommend.
Jodi Mendelson
My husband and I went on two fantastic tours in one day through this company after reading the fantastic reviews on line. We took a morning tour of the Garden District with Richard. He was smart and funny and filled to the brim with fascinating facts and stories both about the history and the architecture of the garden district. We both finished his tour feeling like we had learned so much while the time flew by! Our second tour was the Ghosts & Vampires French Quarter tour in early evening with K-Erika. She was completely lively and engaging and led us through the French Quarter pointing out houses of distinction and telling us bone chilling tales that left you questioning what you though you believed! Even a day after in the daylight I find myself remembering her expressive face and voice as the tales flit in and out of my mind! I cannot recommend both tours and guides highly enough!
Heather West
Our group took two two tours. We enjoyed both very much. We took the French quarter history/voodoo tour and Bobby was our guide. He was witty and very knowledgeable. We also took the ghost and vampire tour, Justin was our guide he was hilarious very friendly. He had great story telling skills and even better patience. Thanks you guys you made our day and night very memorable.
Alexander Staroselsky
Did the Ghosts & Vampire tour. The tour was Absolutely fantastic. Our tour guide was an amazing story teller and was extremely knowledgeable about the tour locations and New Orleans. Whether you are a true crime fan or into ghosts and vampires, you will definitely enjoy yourself.
Sarah McKee
Lee was an incredible tour guide for our Garden District tour! He was entertaining - keeping us engaged through personal stories and humor. He managed our large group very well, was flexible with us (we had a young baby along for the ride), and taught us a lot we didn't know. I highly recommend this tour!
Brittany Boyer
(background: 22 year old solo female traveler) Erin was fantastic, super energetic, knowledgeable, and just a great person overall. The tour was fun and I highly recommend the saints and sinners tour! As a solo female I felt safe and it was an ease walk from where I was staying and I look forward to coming back for another tour!
Sean Daugherty
Excellent tour! Leonard was a great guide and very well spoken. The hurricanes from Voodoo Loinge were delicious. Would definitely book another tour with him when we are in town longer. We did the vampire and ghost tour this time.
kiddfox98
Dylan was great. Very informative St louis cemetery tour. 2 for 1 hurricanes with the purchase of the tour at voodoo lounge.
Beth Mochu
My husband and I went on the saints and sinners tour. A very handsome, beautiful soul, by the name of Lee, was our guide. He is an absolutely fabulous person ! His knowledge of history is remarkable . His mix of storytelling and humor makes his presentation captivating and enjoyable to all. After the tour, he was very helpful with all the local information. I loved him !
Scott William Foley
My oldest daughter had only one request while in the French Quarter--a ghost and vampire tour. Though there were many, many choices available, we settled on French Quarter Phantoms Ghost Tours. Our guide, Phil, walked us through the French Quarter streets while explaining to us not only the historical atrocities that occurred, but the supernatural results. It was very cool to tour the side streets of the French Quarter with a lifelong inhabitant, and it was also incredible to learn about some of the truly bizarre occurrences that have taken place over the centuries. Do I believe the supernatural tales Phil shared? Perhaps not, but I definitely believe the horrific things on public record that he detailed for us, and that was far scarier to me than the ghost stories! By the way, just to be clear, I'd like to say that this tour was absolutely appropriate for my ten-year-old. At one point Phil was concerned a story might be too graphic, so he specifically warned us that we might want to cover our daughter's ears. We did, and it turned out that she could have handled the story, but we appreciated his kindness. By the way, my oldest daughter loved this tour.
Karen Priest
We did the cemetery tour with Fernando and had a blast!! He was very knowledgeable and hilarious. Would come back to tour with him again
Janice Cannon
We took both the Saints and Sinners tour with Ducky and the Garden District tour with Sam, I would greatly recommend both! The cost is great and we were able to get a Groupon that made the tours a fantastic deal, but it’s worth the full price too. The tour guides, Ducky and Sam, were extremely knowledgeable and great story tellers.
Lucas Martino
I've done 3 tours with them: garden district with Sam (EXCELLENT), Saint & sinners with Luke (meh.. the tour was kind of boring. Sam was cool though) and the Ghost & vampire with a guy I can't remember the name but was EXCELLENT as well. Great job guys! The s&s one is not worthy of paying 20$, the other ones are underpriced!
Kristin Bazille
The Tour Tremé was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide Erin was very knowledgeable, accomodating, and friendly. She even emailed those that were interested some additional resources regarding the history of the Tremé community. I would definitely recommend this tour :)
Gary Bridgman
Our tour guide, Robert, was fantastic at St. Louis Cemetery No. 1, on March 10, 2019. Very knowledgeable and entertaining, guiding us past all the other tour groups like an airline pilot landing us at a crowded airport!
Iveth Cisneros
Evian was our Ghosts and Vampires tour guide! It was our second tour with French Quarter Phantoms! He was professional, funny and a super talented storyteller! He inspired us to go on ANOTHER tour with FQP!
Henderson
Good experience and funny guide. Learned so interesting history or New Orleans.
Danica Lukasiewicz
Robert was great. He did the best he could with as many people as were in the cemetery today. Length of tour was just about right even though we started pretty late. Fun thing to do in New Orleans!
barbara lucier
Erin was energetic and knowledgeable. Such a fun guide.
Samantha Ruiz
We had a really, cool experience with this tour. We learned intriguing history. This tour starts at the voodoo lounge where they offer hurricane specials before the tour. This gives the tour experiences little something extra. It is a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes. Lenny was our tour guide, he was great! I would recommend this tour if you’re looking for something cool to do.
Kellie
TeErika is such a passionate, and expressive tour guide. So knowledgeable and great at what she does! Definitely try and get her as your guide. Cannot recommend this ghost tour company enough! BOGO free on Hurricanes and a free tour cup with it.
Sam H
This tour was such a great time! Our guide Jeremiah was so informative and fun, while engaging and educating us about the spooky sides to New Orleans.
Roy Parker
The guide was great. He was a real big guy. I think his name was Bobby Thomas. He was funny and very knowledgeable. You wont see ghosts or be scared. It's more of a history or story telling tour. You walk through the French Quarter while being told stories. You meet at a bar and have to buy 2 drinks. The bar is not real great and the Hurricanes are terrible. The bartender tried to charge us double too. Let's hope it was an honest mistake.
Alexis Johnson
Did the Garden District tour with Erin and she was AMAZING! While it was hot she made it so interesting and you can just tell how much she cares about the city and it’s rich history. Would 10/10 recommend. And her recommendation for lunch at Parasol’s after the tour did not disappoint!
Marina Khusid
French Quarter history & Voodoo tour with Justin was a lot of fun. Justin is a very entertaining and colorful storyteller with unparalleled sense of humor. Not to be missed!
Christine Joy
Really great tour!! Highly recommend! Our guide, Miss Malika was an amazing story teller!! Full of humor, info and insight into an amazing historic ground. Some tips: 1-Meeting place at Voodoo Lounge has very limited bathroom space, but don’t fret there is a bathroom stop along the tour. They do offer great drink specials!
2-Bring water and something for shade if the sun is too much...I had my own umbrella, and so did Miss M! Paper fans are offered for free.
3-You cross paths with other tours inside, so make sure you know who you’re with!
4-Plan your own way back - they literally leave you at the Cemetary gate, which is not where you start...
5-Bring cash for your guide...they accept tips!
6-check Groupon...we got a great deal...4 ppl for only $8 each!!
Finn Bledsoe
The garden district your with Lee was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. His own stories interwoven with the history of New Orleans made for a rich tapestry. Would highly recommend this tour and more highly recommend Lee.
Josh
Good tour with a great guide. We were there on a very busy night but our guide was professional and knew how to go with the flow. I have done many ghost tours and the only reason I'm giving this one 4 stars is because the "creepy" factor just wasn't there. This is the fault of the busy neighborhoods you are in and not the guide. Our guide even said it was an unusually busy night and promised if she got hit by a car she would come back to haunt us!
Jill Vinciguerra
Our tour with Bobby was filled with interesting stories, facts, humor, and general knowledge of the cities history and culture. It was a perfect blend to reach all generations in the group.
Robin Sweeney
We had an absolute blast on our tour of the cemetery. Our Guide Robert was a blast. He was beyond friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. We weren't the first tour of the day, but you would have never have know that with his talking, his enthusiasm for his job was immeasurable. We learned a ton of the history, the culture and any questions that popped up he knew the answers. I highly recommend using this company!
Rosario Williams
Erin was such a great tour guide! She was knowledgeable and clearly has a passion for architecture. Highly recommend.
Carolyn Lazarde
We had an excellent time on the tour with Justin. I found him knowledgeable, entertaining and quite hilarious. The whole process was easy and very enjoyable. We loved the stories and will be back.
Eric Swirsky
I had such a good time on my first tour (Ghosts & Vampires) with French Quarter Phantoms that I went back for a second (Sinners and Saints) with the same tour guide - Evian is his name if you can get him! He's absolutely incredible. Other people have noted that the tours are an amazing walk through history and legend, and it's all tied together by a captivating storyteller with a wide base of knowledge and the answer to any question I could think of. The stories left such a mark that I found myself repeating them to friends over the course of the next few days (though not as good as Evian would have I'm sure!)
Ally Lind
My adults kids, did not want to go, so of course I guilted them. They loved it! Bobby Thomas was an awesome guide. I recommend taking the time for the Ghost and Vampire Tour. We learned a lot and connected a few more dots.
Ryan McLeod
The Sinner and Saints tour is a great experience for anyone new to New Orleans or looking for a deeper dive into the history of the French Quarter. Highly recommend booking mid-week when the group is likely to be small Andrea has a wicked sense of humor and knows so much about the history of the city that she was able to tailor the tour to our interests and answer all of our questions.
Megan R
Wonderful experience with our tours. Erin and Phil were excellent and well versed in their tours. So much history, a must while visiting New Orleans.
roseleine coffy
Participated in a few tours with this company and Bob was the Best. Her kept our attention both while we were sober and unsober lol. Definitely book Bob's tours. He's worth it.
Sonya Williams
Went on a tour yesterday. First pic is seconds apart from the second. In the second (black and white pic) there is a figure at the bottom right corner next to the man. Creepy. The tour guide was awesome but I didn't see this until I was on my flight to come home. These photos were taken in front of the Andrew Jackson hotel and regardless of if you believe or not, I do. I see a little boy in the pic, with shoulder length hair and maybe a Victorian outfit with sleeves. I wish I could have showed the tour guide. He was funny and honest. Called me weak during a joke and had my friends saying it the rest of the night. (I'm
6 ft tall) lol. Thanks for a great time and don't forget to grab the drinks at the stop! Totally worth it!
Eryca Edwards
THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Our tour guide was Bobby Thomas and he was awesome!! I loved that he added some humor in all the right places during the tour, this didn’t make it any less spooky though. He was a GREAT storyteller! He also gave us a bit of a history lesson about New Orleans and it was very informational! We had some people walk by and say some crude things about us being on a tour and he quickly put them in their place. It was so funny! We got a bathroom break in a bar/grill that had fairly clean bathrooms and awesome drinks! We didn’t get any food, but the food smelled amazing! The bar where we started (the Voodoo Lounge) had great hurricanes and they were buy one get one free an hour before the tour started! This tour is a MUST when you come to New Orleans! I definitely will go again!
Melena Buckram
They do a great job! Toured with Erin this time around and she was wonderful. Enjoyed them on our first tour years ago and decided to go again for a different tour.
s pags
The tour exceeded expectations. Malika (?) was the best guide I have had in ... I can’t remember the last guide I enjoyed as much! Lots of history, stories, humour, and more for almost two hours! Enjoy Nic Cage’s final resting pyramid, and further enjoy the $4 savings by booking on their site.
Cassidy
We had Mary Jay for our tour guide and she was exceptional! Very well educated and also had a great sense of humor. Super entertaining. Great company to go through for awesome tours!
Dave Jackson
Had 2 great tours. We did the ghost and St. Louis Cemetery #1 tours. We had the most wonderful tour guide named Angela on both tours and has great energy and kept things lively and entertaining.
Brenna Holmes
Tour was GREAT. Hope was fun and knowledgeable. Other people on the tour... Ok... Too many smokers for my taste.
Bridget MacDonald Vandenbergh
We had an amazing experience with French Quarter Phantoms! My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend in New Orleans, and we decided the best way to get to know different aspects of the city was via walking tours. Our first tour was the Garden District tour with Lee, who is an incredible guide - he is so fun, engaging, and well-versed in the history and architecture of the Garden District. From the second he starts the tour, you can tell he absolutely knows his stuff, and he expertly educates about the buildings and history while sprinkling in his own stories and experiences as a NOLA resident. We learned so much from him and our time exploring the Garden District was the highlight of our weekend.
That evening, we also took the Ghosts and Vampires tour with Leonard. He did a truly great job of recounting local ghost stories and legends while also looking at it from an academic perspective - it's always nice to get the historical context of these sorts of tales, and Leonard was really good at explaining how certain New Orleans legends may have developed. He also always knew when to drop a joke when things were getting a little bit too creepy!
Overall, I would definitely recommend both of these tours. We had a great time and these were some of the best experiences we had in New Orleans!
Victoria Callender
Our family took the cemetary tour, and our tour guide was Lee. He was very knowledgable, and his humorous injects were incredibly entertaining! He did such a wonderful job that we were all amazed to learn it was his first tour! The tour was very interesting regardless of the guide, but as we overheard other guides while in the cemetary, I can say that French Quarter Phantoms (Lee, in particular) did a much better job than many others.
As for the tour through the cemetary, please note that it is quite cramped in certain spots, and if the weather has been rainy, be prepared for muddy sections. However, there are sights worth seeing, like the Musician's Society and war hero tombs. This is definitely a worthwhile excursion, particularly if you can get a magnificent guide like Lee!
Allyson Baxter
We loved the tour! Erin was incredible. Would absolutely recommend!
Monica C
Simon the Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and has made us very interested in the tour . We also received a coupon for a drink .That was kind
Victoria Raithel
We enjoyed two tours. The first was the Ghost and Vampire tour with Phill. He was engaging, down-to-earth, and entertaining. We appreciate his personal stories, clean delivery, and respect for the Catholic influence on the town. I also was thankful for his warning before telling something particularly spooky so I could shut my ears.
The second tour was the Garden tour with Richard. This guide was prompt, respectful, informative and engaged in easy conversation with us. Our family ended up being the only one on this tour so it was nice he still met us and did not cancel.
Maddie Kenny
We did a cemetery tour with Richard who was very informed and had the answers to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our time. Later in the night we did the ghost and vampire tour with Melissa. She was a hoot! We loved her personality and all the stories she had for us. We will definitely use French quarter Phantoms every time we visit NOLA and recommend to friends as well!
Jordan Holmes
We booked a small private tour to celebrate our elopement and holy guacamole was it the best thing ever. Bobby was our guide and he was FANTASTIC. He customized our tour so we heard a little bit of everything from true crime to ghost stories. His stories were interesting, clear, and presented with so much personality - no gimmicks at all. Everyone in the group had so much fun and raved about the experience
Logan Lozano
We are from Texas and came to enjoy the Mardi Gras experience and find different unique things to do in NOLA. A ghost and vampire tour sounded awesome and I am so glad that we decided to sign up. Jeremiah was our guide and he was outstanding. He was loud enough to be heard over all the music and had so much knowledge on the houses we viewed. He definitely isn’t going off of some script. He knows his stuff and must do his own research. Answered all of the questions the group had and also offered some additional theories he had on some of the subjects. I would highly recommend this tour and Jeremiah as a guide. Thanks for the amazing experience from your friends in Texas!
Jessica Sanderson
The Ghost & Vampire Tour with Phil was the best tour we went on while in NOLA! Phil added his own personal touch with stories of his own experiences as a native to the area! We thoroughly enjoyed his insight into the spooky side of the city! Had a chance to chat with him while walking and he even had some great recommedations for us on more to do in the area! Thanks Phil!
Yeahmansure
The hectic nature of this tour didn't exactly lend itself to what we thought was gonna be a nice way to walk through the entirety of the French Quarter and the sides of it. This is not to say the host didn't do a great job (they did), but because of the noise pollution, crowd pushing and what I assume to be conflicting schedules from the multiple tours that were occurring, multiple stories were either rushed or outright cancelled so that we could move on asap.
If you're a party-goer or just looking to get spooked while keeping the rager going I think this is an absolutely fun spot to be in. If you actually enjoy being spooked but also love the history aspect and enjoy storytelling, possibly getting a private tour or picking a dead day might be for the best. We ended up leaving halfway though since out of about 45 minutes we got 1.5 stories about the town. Hard to pin this on the tour company itself but I felt it could've been managed a bit better with some disclaimers since it tarnished the experience nonetheless.
Sarah Anderson
We had an AWESOME experience. I think our guide's name was Justin. He had so much charisma and was so knowledgeable about the area and the history he made the tour worth it. Great experience and well worth the price of admission!
Charles Wild
Justin is an excellent tour guide. We really enjoyed his tour of St. Louis #1 Cemetary yesterday. He has a good voice and many interesting stories and information.
Kassi Harris
We had Adelai as our tour guide this week. We did the ghosts and vampire tour. She is incredible. She was very informative and entertaining as she spoke. She doesn't talk at you but to you. She answered questions and told you a lot of history behind the ghost stories and thing. I really enjoyed it.
Richard Simmons
We were four adults with an average amount of interest in history and architecture just looking for something different to do between meals and drinks. 10am after a night out in New Orleans isn't really peak "learn about the historic people and houses of NOLA" time, but it was worth it. Erin, whose enthusiasm about the history of the Garden District was a bit intimidating to a slightly hungover group of tourists, quickly became one of the most genuine and memorable parts of our 5-day stay in the city. Erin is EXACTLY who you need touring you around the city. She clearly had a vast knowledge of the history of the different districts in the city, and presented it in the infectious way that only a passionate professor can. While we rolled our eyes at the few initial corny jokes, we laughingly ended the tour wishing we could tote Erin along for the rest of our trip to augment every spot we visited. If/when we make it back to New Orleans, we'll be reaching out to find another tour with Erin for sure!
Cheyanne Wells
We did 2 tours and had Bobby for Both of them, he was a great tour guide. Very informative, friendly, funny. Will definitely recommend this tour group to anyone I know coming to New Orleans
Steven Halter
The tour was fascinating and very informative. Our guide, Lee, was absolutely the best. He was extremely knowledgeable and had some great anecdotes. It was well paced. It was fascinating to learn more about New Orleans.
Grace Kiteley
My mom and I came for my 21st birthday and our guide was Andrea! She was awesome and we had an absolute blast! Definitely recommend getting on her tour, she is hilarious and does a great job as a guide through out the walk and an magnificent story teller. She even knew people who are in the stories and could add some extra detail in! It was an easy walk as well, could be a little less easy if you’re older but she made sure everyone sticks together :) Thank you French Quarter Phantoms and Andrea! It was so fun and spooookkyyyy!
Sarah Shannon
Wow! What an experience! First off, there are so many tours offered in New Orleans. French Quarter Phantom tours was by far the best choice. Agie, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and very personable. She made the tour exciting for everyone! She was funny and witty! If you are looking for a great tour... you have found it!
Gatlin Ives
Tour was amazing, went during June and had to deal with the heat and humidity, but Andrea (I think that was her name) made up for it with her detailed story’s and tidbits of haunted history. Would recommend to anyone!
Kris Wolf
Went on the Garden District tour today. The tour guide Ducky was by far one the best parts. His knowledge and energy made the trip amazing. The tour covers the Layfayette Cemetary #1 and many Garden District homes. There were several celebrity homes in the tour and our group lucked out and saw John Goodman outside his home. Ducky was quick to answer questions and gave lots of personal annecdotes making the tour fun and entertaining.
This tour covers a lot of uneven broken sections of sidewalk and moves fast so I do not recommend it for those with challenges keeping up a brisk walking pace.
Amanda Romas
Adeline provided an amazing tour of the Canal St cemeteries and Katrina memorial. She was so respectful while also funny and engaging.
Jordan Robertson
Went on a tour 3-9-22 and it was so interesting! Andrea was our guide, and she was fantastic! The history of the area was amusing. Got back home and started looking through pics and noticed something that caught my eye at the Andrew Jackson hotel. Looks like the figure of a kid standing to the left of the building.
Danielle Curtis
My first visit to New Orleans and obviously had to do a voodoo/history tour. I really enjoyed learning about the architecture and history of the city. Lee was just fantastic. He was fun as well as informative. I’d highly recommend this tour!
Ken Jackson
Erin was fantastic. She was easy to spot at the starting location, she appropriately interacted with the group, she entertained, and she knows what she's talking about. She is highly recommended by my wife and I. Do this tour and definitely get Erin to walk with you. Fantastic tour guide and fantastic tour.
tim deSilva
In New Orleans during October and was looking for a Ghost Tour... We chose the Ghost and Vampire edition and were not disappointed. Our tour guide, Phantom Phill, was fantastic, personable, and super informative. You can tell he's passionate about the city and he's well versed in managing a decent sized crowd safely through the night streets in New Orleans – all while offering up some unique and historic stories about the city and its lore. Highly recommended.
Jessica Caudle
We had a fantastic time on Phil’s tour this evening. So insightful and fun! He did an amazing job and I would highly recommend his tour to anyone visiting New Orleans!
Andrew Martin
Billy Thomas, our tour guide, was fabulously informative and hilarious. I give tours myself at the Washington National Cathedral, and I recognize him as a master of his craft. He kept our whole party, ranging from adult history nerds to hyperactive 6 year olds, engaged and informed. We plan to come back and take every tour that French Quarter Phantoms has to offer.
Andrea D
We had an INCREDIBLE two hour tour today, led by the wonderful Erin. She went out of her way to cater to what we were interested in and wanted to see, which was an unexpected surprise. Erin had a treasure trove of local lore, alongside her deep rooted knowledge in the districts architecture and heritage. There was no question that could throw her, and she even unknowingly corrected some information we'd heard from other tours that didn't have the same accuracy. She was incredibly funny and informative!
Taking the garden district tour with Erin would be my first recommendation to any friends visiting the city, and we can't wait to come back and do another tour with French Quarter Phantoms.
Fabian Mejias Jr
Fantastic tour and our guide Lee from NC was awesome. His love for architecture and history are the perfect mix for this job. He play diferent faces and voice tones (like Jim Carey) whenever his telling the history that make it fun at the same time. If you can request a guide be sure you get him.
Lisa White
Erin was a phenomenal tour guide! We learned so much about the history of Treme, both the good and bad. Erin was extremely informative and passionate about Treme. Highly recommend taking the Treme tour!
Cassie W
This was one of the best tours we took on our trip to NOLA. Bobby Thomas was so freaking amazing! He was personable, knowledgeable, and you could tell he just really has the heart for this occupation. I would 10000% recommend taking his tour!
Paul Jewson
Must do experience in the quarter! Our guide Matt was wonderful and the area has so much history that it made for a super fun evening
Brandon Turbeville
Erin was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged with what we were looking at. She was a great story teller and seemed to enjoy what she was doing.
Lucinda Spurling
Wonderful tour with Lee. We had orbs in our photos at the convent. I also saw but unfortunately did not photograph a cloud of smoke at the LaLaurie mansion. Very cool.
Ella Goworowski
interesting way to learn the history of New Orleans! perfect mix of history and spook! Bobby Thomas was an amazing tour guide. he was very knowledgeable and funny, which made the experience personable and entertaining
Hillary Johnson
I was surprised this was so well rated. This was my first time doing a tour and we selected the voodoo one. Our tour guide was Justin and he didn’t really discuss anything about the history of voodoo in NOLA. I was surprised he was the guide as he looked in desperate need of a bath and clean clothes. When we originally saw him I figured he was a regular bar patron that just hadn’t left from the night before. He had injured his arm the night before and was using a shirt as a sling. The buy one get one hurricanes at the voodoo bar didn’t taste like they had alcohol, which would have made the tour better. Don’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.
Anissa Velazquez
This was my first time traveling to New Orleans, I had done two tours with the company. The saints & sinners tour as well as the ghost tour at night. My tour guide Erin (not sure if this is the correct spelling) was AMAZING! She really made the tour. We had her for both tours and had an great time. 10/10 recommend doing any tour with Erin, she is very knowledgeable and hilarious! Overall great experience
Marah Garza
Really enjoyed our tour with Andrea today!!! She has excellent storytelling skills all the while feeling genuinely honest! We also appreciated that she told us her opinion of stories, situations! She was great and would def recommend for anyone looking to getting chills and history while visiting NOLA!
Raffa Nowden
We did 2 tours here, Lenard was our tour guide for the ghosts and vampires tour and he did such a phenomenal job sharing the town whole Mardi gras was in effect. We could hear him over the parties and street noise as well as our own conversations. We're learned so much and had a fun time. Get there on time!
Ivorianchick1
I loved it, and highly recommended. Not only was it fun it was very interesting, plus our tour guide was wonderful.
Elisa Vera Méndez
Amazing visit, Bobby was super knowledgeable and made the visit incredibly fun! The only thing I would suggest would be to stop at a few specific landmarks, but the rain didn't help!
Kyle Easton
Went to New Orleans for my bachelor party and we did this one of the evenings. It was a good time and nice change of pace. Some neat history and scary stories with a bar stop in the middle. Did the 8pm option which is just shy of 2 hours. Still had plenty of time for late night festivities. Our guide was Miss Malika and she was great!! 10/10 would hunt ghosts with her. Also zoom in on the middle window of the second floor. I'm not saying I took a picture of a ghost, but I'm not not saying that either. This is Delphine LaLaurie's old mansion...
Christie Cumpton
Our guide was Andrea...and man was she awesome!!!! Great time lots of information.
Heather Patno
Take all your tours here! We had an amazing cemetery tour from Richard as the first tour off the plane. He set the standard for the rest of the trip and the bar was high. His knowledge was amazing and a great primer for the area.
The Degas House was also interesting in a global perspective of history.
Lee did not disappoint with the Garden District tour. I would recommend him to anyone, and a trip to NOLA wouldn't be the same without him.
Finally, the Treme tour with Malika was inspirational. She knew her stuff, made you think and also brought the sacredness of the complex history of NOLA into focus.
You won't regret any time spent with this amazing group of people.
Brett Dubois
This was so much more fun and informative than I thought it would be. We had Phil as our guide for the Ghosts and Vampire Tour. I was afraid it would be cheesy but Phil has a way of delivering the stories without being cliche or corny. Plus there is something seriously chilling about the way he tells the stories. He stuck to facts. Anything he told us was based around verifiable events and not just myth. Ghost stories are fun, but there is a seriously dark history in this town and that is what Phil focused on for the most part. Definitely spooky when you’re hearing some pretty gruesome tales told in Phil’s calm and collected demeanor. The whole tour in a few words:Engaging, entertaining, funny, informative, and enjoyably unsettling. 10/10 would do again.
Tara Urban
Jeremiah was a great tour guide! Very funny and personable. He showed us a lot of great houses. We also stopped for a bathroom break halfway which was nice. Overall great experience!
Stephanie Prievo
Buddy was an awesome guide. Very personable and knowledgeable. He made the tour fun.
Debra Weigand
We spend so much time in New Orleans, but had never taken a cemetery tour. We had a friend fly down to stay with us and she wanted to go, so we did. Great decision! We enjoyed our tour immensely. Our guide was very informative and interesting. (Unfortunately, none of us remember his name but he was a history teacher.) Leaving from The Voodoo Lounge was super convenient. I highly recommend this tour!
Hannah Hayden
I would definitely recommend the Ghost and Vampire tour - our tour guide (aka wonderful storyteller) was Phil! Creepy history is my kind of history so I really loved this, and the two hours passed by so quickly. The stories were great and I will definitely be digging into the history further!
Sarah Gundrum
We did the Vampire and Ghost tour and had Phil as our tour guide-he was the best! The tour was very fun and you get to see a lot of cool places you wouldn’t have noticed before. The tour also meets at a cool bar where you get buy one get one drinks! Super great tour-can’t recommend this place more!
Lindsay Haislip
Lee from the Saints & Sinners tour was AWESOME! I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and went with a friend from out of town - we had such a great time and learned so much. Would definitely recommend!
Camryn Langley
Bobby Thomas was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! Added some comedic gold to our group and we loved it all the more. BOGO hurricane specials at the beginning added great fun through our Ghost and Vampire Tour. Really creepy, sad, and interesting stories.
AH Najmi
We took a tour of St. Louis cemetery 1 this morning. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it. Justin, our tour guide, was outstanding; ask for him!
Gjerda RhodeHumphries
we enjoyed a detailed and beautiful tour from erin who infused humor, wit and modern connections throughout the tour to help us understand how the city came to be and what it is now. I had never been to new orleans but this tour made me want to return in the future with friends and share with them the beauty that is this city. my dad was hard of hearing but she ensured he still had a great experience by changing her positioning, cadence and angle of speech so his hearing aids could pick up her stories. new orleans is lucky to have tour guides like her, and she seemed like the kind of person anyone would be lucky to call her friend.
Cassie Povero
What an amazing cherry on top of our Halloween weekend in the Big Easy! Our tour guide, Leonard, was phenomenal! Animated and fun! All of the supernatural scares down to the real historical history without all of the added unnecessary non factual info. Leonard made our tour! Very attentive and educated on the Quarter. Thanks so much, Leonard!
Cynthia Reyes
Great tour with Edward. A little bit of everything. Informative, spooky and funny!
Rachel Strickland
We went on the Ghost and Vampire tour while in NOLA for the weekend. The tour lasted about an hour and half, but the time absolutely flew by! Our tour guide, Luke, was knowledgeable, funny, and kept the energy high the entire time. We visited a bunch of cool spots, learned a lot of the local lore, and had an amazing time. Would definitely come back to take another tour. We loved it!
david borokovsky
The treme tour was like a appetizer buffet, you get a little bit of everything: music, history, culture, both of the city as well as the neighborhood. You also get to hear (very rare in tours) about the current, every day life of the community. The portions are just right, interesting but not overwhelming. And if you want to learn more Andrea pointed you to where you can get it.
Olga Kovaleva
Very informative tour revealing a lot of interesting details about the history of New Orleans. Special thanks to Erin, who treated our group with great attention and positivity, and tried to answer all of the questions we asked. Fun and educating experience.
Marla Matos
Our tour guide Lee was fantastic! He was knowledgeable with a background in architecture, big personality and sociable. Made us feel great! I recommend him a 100%!!!
Jennifer Holloway
Tour guides were very entertaining, energetic and knowledgeable about everything New Orleans. I will definitely have to go touring with them again and will recommend tours to my friends and family.
Dugan Ewelt-McAuliffe
Our guide Phill did a great job as a guide, he balance history and pop culture and was very informative. The time flew by and was a great way to spend an evening.
If I had any feedback for him, a slight bit more "quantity" would have added to the experience. While walking between stops, simply pointing out little bits of information, or condensed stories, or mentioning things only a local would know would add to the experience.
It was a fun tour and a good way to spend an evening.
bartlebk
We were a bachelorette party and had a BLAST. Lee was so insightful about the culture of New Orleans and the architecture. The tour was amazing. Highly recommend
Kristi Bizer
Did the French Quarter history and voodoo tour with Bobby and it was excellent! Seriously, felt like an old friend was storytelling about his home town. Entertaining and informative!!
trey stroud
Great experience! I came here for my birthday weekend and had a total of four tours with FQ Phantoms. I had Lee for the Garden District tour, Phill for the Ghost & Vampire and Treme tours, and AG (?) For the Cemeteries tour. They all were so knowledgeable and made the whole experience exciting! Be sure to check them out if you're in NOLA- you won't be disappointed!
Ammara Shafqat
We loved our guide! Very great tour!
Hannah Crochet
Came to NOLA for the first time and was only there for two days so I wanted to get a little tour that was entertaining and also educational. We did the ghost and vampire tour with Erin and she was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. The tour was a good length and she shared a little bit of her personal experiences with the historical accuracy that I was looking for. We also did the St Louis #1 tour with Justin. He was great as well. Funny and equally as knowledgeable. After the tour was over he also gave us a few tips for the remainder of our time in the city that we really appreciated. So glad we chose this group over the others! Will definitely return and do the other tours they offer in the future.
Tamara Rothmann
On our first day of our first visit to New Orleans, my boyfriend and I decided to book two tours with French Quarter Phantoms. We had no idea what a fantastic choice we were making. We did the St. Louis #1 tour with Lee as our guide to start the day. He was hilarious, campy, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about New Orleans and its history. He made sure we saw the most well known grave sites and had stories for all of them, he even made sure, knowing how popular the voodoo queen's site was to tell us her story before entering the cemetery so we got a full telling without being rushed. That night at 8PM we took the Ghost and Vampires tour with Bobby as our guide and had our heads blown off with horror and delight. This guy knows his s#*t! He's one of the best story tellers I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. He took his time, he was funny and engaging and knew how to tell the haunting tales of the city in a way that made us feel like we went right back in time. I can't stress enough what an amazing guide he was. He and Lee were both also happy to hang around for some extra time and give suggestions on where to go next, directions back to hotels or to chat with the tour members. Thank you so much for making our first day in New Orleans exactly the creepy, fun time we were looking for!
Mario Benevento
Erin was very knowledgeable and put on a good tour of the garden district. It was clear she had a passion for the New Orleans area and it's history.

Edit for our second tour in November 2021:
I booked a large party for our wedding weekend. Because of issues with the St. Louis cemetery ownership they had to cancel our cemetery tour. NOT THEIR FAULT!!! SO!!!!! They did a beautiful job making sure we got a wonderful private ghost and Vampire walking tour. They were accommodating and so easy to work with.
Now. Our tour guide was Phil. 100% would recommend. He was great. We got wonderfully told new orleans ghost stories, history, and Vampire stories, as well as his own flare and experience.
My entire family, our friends, and us, had an incredibly wonderful time.
I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you!
1st cemetery tour in 2015: We had a wonderful walking tour. The guide was fun and knowledgeable. Can't wait to do this again!
Katelyn Ditzler
Our tour guide was fine, she seemed really into her job but her stories were hard to follow because she kept getting sidetracked and I don't think we ever heard a full story. It would be nice if the tour ended at the same place it began instead of a few blocks away.
Brett Stern
Dylan, our tour guide was amazing. His knowledge of New Orleans and its history was incredible. Great sense of humor too. Thank you for taking us around the Garden District.
Jon Lynch
Last night we went on an awesome Ghost and Vampire Tour! Our tour guide, Lee, was absolutely fantastic! You can tell he really loves Nola and loves what he does. His delivery and animation of the stories was great, bravo Lee! The whole tour company was very kind, welcoming, and helpful!
Kelly Cooke
The garden district tour with Lee was one of the best tours I’ve been on. His humor combined with his extensive knowledge of the history and architecture of the neighborhood makes for an unforgettable experience!
Giancarlo Batista
Every tour and tour guy we had was absolutely awesome! The guides were very informative and funny. Dylan knew everything we needed to know about the garden district and much more! Luke’s ghost tour was also another fun tour. Got to see some
Of the dark violent history of New Orleans the French quarter. It was definitely worth the goosebumps! Our 11am tour guide(1/22) for the cemetery tour was also very informative and funny. He had plenty info on all the different graves and traditions that are attached to each one. High recommend French Quarter Phantoms for your tours when in New Orleans!
Catie Szedlak
Fun way to tour the French Quarter. Phantom Phill was our guide and had some interesting stories. We passed several other tour companies and were overall impressed with the professionalism of our guide compared to the others. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun evening.
Josh D
We did 3 tours with this company, first the Ghosts and Vampire tour with Lee, what a character, you can tell he is passionate about being a self described "quarter rat". Very fun and entertaining tour.
The second tour was the St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour with a very informative tour guide that's name has escaped me.
Our 3rd tour was our favourite and that was the Saints and Sinners tour, our guide Justin was a wealth of knowledge with a clear passion for the history of this amazing city. He incorporated a lot of humour and candidness which made the tour very authentic. I would highly recommend doing any of these tours or all of them, you will not regret it.
Ellany Green
Hope was amazing! Very entertaining as well as informative, and kept up a great pace so we could see as much as we could, but without feeling rushed. And she did a great job of connecting with everyone on the tour even though I’m sure she meets hundreds of people a day. We went on both the St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour and the Ghost & Vampire Tour and both were great. We had Hope both times and loved it! Overall, very enjoyable tours and a great way to get introduced to the French Quarter!
Melissa Torres
LEE was an amazing tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and fun. My daughter and I had a great experience. His recommendations were spot on, especially French Quater Grocery, thank you!
Madison Celene
Took two tours with French Quarter Phantoms, St Louis Cemetery and Ghost and Vampire, and they were AMAZING. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and personable and they make the tours a joy to take. Lee was our tour guide for the cemetery tour and he was so funny and also a great teacher about the history of NOLA as well as the cemetery architecture and history. He was so welcoming. Then we had Justin for our ghost and vampire tour. Justin was incredible. He made sure we were all safe while roaming the streets. He included the group in his story telling which we all loved. He told the stories in such a way that made us learn the facts and connect them to the stories he was telling us. He was super funny and knowledgeable and made sure we all had a good time. I definitely recommend you take their tours you will not regret them. Also get some hurricanes (2 for 1) before your tour to have a good time.
Daniel Armbrecht
My wife and I had an incredible experience. We have gone on tours all over the world from Rome to Istanbul to right here in the states. What makes or breaks a good tour in our experience - the tour guide. Erin K., our tour guide, was one of the best we've had in all our travels. Her passion and knowledge on the subject was second to none. Her delivery was both enlightening and entertaining. She answered our questions but did not fall into the trap of rambling on. A skill that is very rare. On top of that, she was light hearted, fun, and just plain great at what she did. I would highly recommend this tour with Erin K. She was one of the best in the world - and that's not hyperbole. Thank you Erin K.
Randi Addison
Mary J was the best. I was hoping we would get a fun tour guide and she did not disappoint. We really enjoyed the tour. And I think it even scared my 13 year old enough that he called me to his room to ask for a hug before bed. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our favorite part of New Orleans so far.
Jas Silva
I had Lee for our guided Garden District Tour. He was the ABSOLUTE best! Knew so much the history of the area, buildinf details from his undergrad studies and brought his personality to every part! Very engaging and great tour overall to see some of the most beautiful homes the Garden District has to offer!
Chris Aquia
Our tour guide Lee was absolutely excellent! Very knowledgeable and more importantly he was fun.we were in town for the day and were totally like we should do a second tour but only if Lee is the guide. The value is phenomenal and there was so much to see. Well be doing a different tour everytime we visit.
Cybelle Guerrero
Great walking tour. Our guide Phil was very knowledgeable about the history of many locations, made it fun and shared his own personal chilling experiences. Highly recommend.
Davina N
One of the best walking tours we've ever done! Mike was such a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Would definitely recommend this tour company to anyone travelling to New Orleans.
Matthew Duhon
Had a great time. Our tour was very educational and interesting. We did the st. Louis cemetery tour. Our guide was Bobby Thomas. He personalized the tour was very intertaining and insightful. French Quarter Phantoms appears to be a group of eccentric historians who are passionate about what they do. The meet up and booking was very easy and educational. Not sure how this tour agency compares in price but I would recommend them and will use them again.
Michelle Tetley
We did both the St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour and the Ghost & Vampire Combo tour and they were both awesome! We had Robert for our cemetery tour and he was super informative and fun! He made the history super interesting and engaged us all well. For our ghost tour we had Justin (possibly? Sadly can’t remember his name) and he was excellent as well! He was super into all of the stories and passed that enthusiasm on to his group. Overall, worth both tours and I loved the detailed look of the city we got!
Irina D
Erin was a phenomenal tour guide--so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I loved that she played music throughout the walking stretches of the tour.
Christopher Ford
We had an excellent time on our tour of St Louis cemetery No1 with Robert. He was extremely knowledgeable, fun, and helpful with any questions. The tour ended up on a hotter than expected day, and he tried to squeeze us in to some shade to help with our comfort as well. I loved all of the stories of the local culture, religion, and just eccentric facts surrounding the cemetery. Totally worth every penny and highly reccomend.
Inna Selick
We had an amazing tour of the cemetery #1 and learned quite a bit about New Orleans history. Our guide was Ducky, who was truly amazing. He has such a great engaging personality and is such a history buff. He had answers to all our questions. Highly recommend this company! You won't regret the tour.
Erin Ojala
Had a great time! Our guide, also named Erin was fun, knowledgeable, and engaging. She wove the old history of New Orleans in with the current events and trends in a way that was memorable and educational. It was a fantastic tour. One I would recommend to anyone interested in visiting an old and spooky cemeteries.
Kelly Crane
We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Malika, was very enjoyable, entertaining, and knowledgeable when we did the cemetery tour. She has such an enthusiastic personality that made the tour great! At the end of the tour she even helped us find a store we were looking for, recommended a museum, and some good local restaurants to go to! 10/10 and will definitely use French Quarter Phantoms for future tours!!!
Mollie Gilthorpe
Fantastic tour company! They offer a variety of tours throughout historic parts of New Orleans. We participated in one of the vampire/ghost tours in the French Quarter and a Garden District tour. The guides were passionate and knowledgeable, they answered all questions as much as they could. They moved a great pace and they even had a break halfway through. So glad I stumbled across this company in my Google search.
Ashley Sanders
Absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide gave us great details about not just the cemetery but also New Orleans around the time St. Louis No. 1 was being built. The tour started at a dive bar across the street and it was nice to just be a few steps to the area and not have to be bused around. The tour went quickly and did not lag. Absolutely loved it and will recommend it to everyone!
Marlene Michelich
Lee was a phenomenal guide! It was a very informative, yet entertaining tour. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Emma Lee Douglas
My mom was visiting from out of town and loves going to cemeteries - so I booked a tour while she was here - It was amazing! Our tour guide, Mary J. was spectacular. She was incredibly knowledgable, funny, and made the intricate history of New Orleans easy to follow and understand. It was super easy to buy tickets online and pick them up in Voodoo Lounge. We got to enjoy a cocktail while we walked to the cemetery and listened to the amazing Mary J. prep us for what we were about to see. In the cemetery Mary J. hit all of the highlights and answered our questions with so much information - it was great. Did I mention that Mary J. is an amazing tour guide? I'll be booking tours through this company whenever family or friends come to town who want to have a guided tour of the city! Thanks for being awesome y'all.
Hannah Mae Barnett
Our tour guide was Lee, and he was a phenomenal story teller. He regaled us with spooky stories about the Andrew Jackson Hotel, Sultan’s palace, the Lalaurie mansion and others and never missed a beat. It was such an interesting experience. Even if you’re a skeptic when it comes to the supernatural, the history behind these buildings is fascinating! Definitely worth the time! He also gave us wonderful recommendations of where to eat afterwards. So happy we decided to spring for this tour!
Nichole K
Our tour guide Angela was fantastic. You could really tell she loved the city! All the stories she told about the history of the city were interesting and she told them with such heart and enthusiasm! The Saints and Sinners tour was the best tour we took on our trip. I highly recommend!!!
Cindy McCarthy
We took both the Ghost and Vampire Tour as well as the Garden District Walking Tour and they were equally wonderful. Erin was our guide for the ghost tour and she provided us a wealth of historical information about the city. She was upbeat and connected well with everyone— thoroughly enjoyable. Sam was our guide in the Garden District and he was excellent- such knowledge about architecture and culture. We’d highly recommend both tours; definitely worth the cost of a ticket, and if you’re new to the city you’ll appreciate all you’re going to learn.
alicia bravo
The Cemetery Tour was amazing! Our guide, Lee, made our experience exceptional with his great history background and humor. Also, we were very fortunate to have him as a guide in our morning and afternoon tours. We highly recommend the New Orleans' Phantom Tour Company for all your tour experiences.
Noah Greenberg
Pirate Sam was a great tour guide! He was really passionate about the history of the garden district and it showed during the tour. The tour was great and included the Lafayette cemetery. We really enjoyed the jokes and puns Sam threw out. The tour was a great value for the length and detail. This was my favorite of the 3 tours we did including St. Louis #1 and a voodoo/vampire tour.
Christine H (Titi)
Our tour was excellent and the tour guide hilarious. Looking to go on another tour.
Melissa M Goodill
Lena was a wonderful tour guide. Went to St. Louis cemetery 1. She was very knowledgeable.
K Ramirez
Great tour! We were surprised at how informative and historical it was. We really enjoyed learning what we did and our guide Erin was phenomenal. Friendly, not overly dramatic (we saw some theatrical tours during our time in New Orleans), and really knew her history.
Ryan Hageman
The French Quarter and Voodoo tour was awesome and our guide Lee made it very enjoyable. Learned so many cool facts about New Orleans that i would have never known!
Natasha Sturdivant
We went on the Ghost and Vampire night tour with Mary J and she was fantastic, the information and passion she possessed was awesome. We had so much fun we booked a second tour the following day. The Treme tour with Malika was so amazing: we enjoyed the content, the tunes that were played on our stroll and the vibe of the whole tour was like no other. Thanks both of you ladies because it certainly made our trip so special!
virginia fleck
Definitely one of the best tours. Dylan was a super tour guide, I travel a lot and I genuinely think he was the best tour guide I've ever had. The tour itself is really interesting and packed with good history. It's great to have someone point out noteworthy sights in the cemetery (sinking graves, notable people, back wall, etc.)
Rob Stewart
We took both the St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour and the Ghosts & Vampires tour on our recent trip to New Orleans. Both tours were very entertaining, informative and totally enjoyable. Robert was our Cemetery guide and he was very funny and knowledgeable. It was not just a dry and impersonal tour. Steven was our Ghost & Vampires guide. He was extremely passionate about the material he was presenting to us and did it in a way that kept us glued to his every word. We learned a lot along the tour and look forward to doing some more research on our own.
Tara Galal
My family and I went on 3 tours with this group in 3 days and loved all of them! All of the guides knew their stuff and shared it in an entertaining way. They left plenty of time for questions and ensured the whole group had gotten what they wanted out of the experience. The St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour was probably our favorite, our guide's name was Billy Thomas (like 90% sure that's right) and he was awesome! We went at 1PM (in August) and it was SO HOT, but he did a great job keeping us in the shade as much as possible while still making sure we saw everything and he was hilarious. Our Garden District Tour Guide was also great but I don't remember her name! When we go back we'll definitely check out their other tours that we didn't have time for on our last trip.

This is an amazing tour! I would highly recommend it to anyone! My friend and I were visiting from Oklahoma and were excited to learn the history and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was Erin and she was absolutely hilarious and absolutely fantastic. Whenever I come back to New Orleans, I will most definitely take this tour again.
Golden Girl
Very well organized operation. Reminder emails. Interesting information. Niceness all around from Logan who checked me in and was very friendly. Our tour guide was informative and interesting. I actually followed up visiting the sites later and picked up books to read more
Dana Davidson
We had a great experience with Phantom tours. Our guide was AMAZING! He was funny and also provided a lot of information.
Devin Sijan
We took three tours through FQP during our time in New Orleans and loved each one for different reasons. I’m always careful when booking tours because sometimes you can get cheesy theatrics when you just want someone passionate about history. With this tour agency you definitely get the latter! Each guide was great in their own way. We especially enjoyed taking the garden district tour with Dylan, who you could tell loved his job and was very knowledgeable. I’d recommend these trout guides to anyone visiting New Orleans looking for great historical facts and knowledgeable guides.

After visiting New Orleans several times, always for business and never being able to do anything 'touristy,' I decided to do the St. Louis Cemetery tour. I had the pleasure of navigating the cemetery's grimly fascinating history from the incredible Mary J — for Jackson, if my memory serves me correct. She was absolutely remarkable and set the bar considerably high for future tours I embark on. The tour was informative, interactive, and all around complete fun!
Sarah Buck
The St. Louis #1 Cemetery Tour was amazing! Dylan was an awesome tour guide and so knowledgeable even beyond the original content of the tour. I highly recommend booking with French Quarter Phantoms, this was the best tour I've ever taken. You can grab a drink to take along and then make another drink stop about half way through the tour. Have fun!

We LOVE this tour company and have adventured all across New Orleans with them! Their tours are so rich with storytelling, history and heart...you end up feeling so much more connected to New Orleans when you're done. We love their variety of tours! Our faves have been the Ghost Tour & Cemetery Tour (with Hope...simply the best!) and recently we took the Music of New Orleans Tour with Malika (so informative and passionate) and I went straight home to look up all of the amazing music and history she shared with us. This company is the way to go for a truly remarkable New Orleans experience!
Amanda Dowd
We did two tours with this company. The Garden district tour with Erin Kidder and the Cemetery Tour with Bobby Thomas! Honestly, both were phenomenal. Erin made a tour that could’ve ended up very dry and boring still fun while extremely informative. If you like seeing homes or architecture at all or are into the history of New Orleans definitely take that tour but ask for Erin. I must say Bobby was my absolute FAVORITE guide of any I have ever had. I’ve done literally a half dozen tours in NOLA and I wish more had been with him. He made me laugh so much but also could draw you in and make you feel during the more serious moments historically. He provided an extensive amount of information while keeping it engaging and entertaining. His personality was just fantastic! Everyone needs to take the cemetery tour with Bobby Thomas!!
Lynsey Hughston
Lee was the most amazing tour guide. He was very informative and had so much knowledge of New Orleans history to share. He was also very entertaining and made what could have been a boring cemetery tour, so enjoyable. He is hilarious! The entire time I was thinking of how I could get him to Dallas to work for me. I would hire him on the spot if he lived closer. I honestly will tour with Lee ONLY if I ever do another tour in New Orleans!
Ashley Puent
We did a two tours, the St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 and the Garden District. Both were AMAZING! Highly recommend both of these. Robert was our guide for the Cemetery tour and he was great! Funny and knowledgeable. Very good storytelling and pointing out the little nooks and crannies you would not even notice just walking around let alone IN the cemetery where you can’t go in by yourself. Lee was the guide for Garden District and he was perfect for this one! Perfect personality for showing the out of towners the area and made sure to give us a good variety of places. Really enjoyed the added stories and jokes he had to really keep everyone engaged the whole time. Lots of photo opportunities throughout both tours too.
Stacy Cloutier
During my vacation we took 2 different tours and both were awesome. Miss Angela was a fantastic tour guide for our St.Louis #1 Cemetery Tour and Justin was a hilarious and super awesome guide for the Saints and Sinners Tour. Both guides were super informative and had awesome energy. Will definitely be going on the other tours provided by French Quarter Phantoms the next time we are in New Orleans. Will for sure recommend French Quarter Phantoms to anyone visiting New Orleans as well.
Krystal Bain
We did the St Louis #1 cemetery tour in New Orleans and it was fantastic. Our tour guide Justin was super friendly and full of knowledge! It was a super hot day and he made sure we had plenty of time in the AC and access to water. Overall a great tour!
Amber Frawley
On our recent trip to New Orleans we booked the Ghost/Vampires tour, which was so much fun! We also enjoyed our guide, Justin, so much that we came back again and did the Saints And Sinners tour! 10/10 would recommend both!
Danielle Moss
Andrea was amazing!!! Growing up an hour away I’ve visited hundreds of times over the years. I thought I knew so much about New Orleans, but now I want to go on every tour she offers to learn more! So many cool facts I didn’t know.
Stephanie Castro
We did the Treme and Saints & Sinners tours with Erin. She was very informative and entertaining and completely exceeded our expectations. Her passion and knowledge made our trip very memorable.
Heidi Klapheke
Cemetery tour was awesome! Justin was a fantastic tour guide!! He was great at providing historical information in a way that was both interesting and funny. Loved the tour so much that I signed up for a second (but different) tour the same evening. Will definitely be back for another visit. As a side note, please heed your tour guides advice, drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen. There is nearly no shade or protection from the blistering hot Louisiana sun once you are in the cemetery!

Bradlee Tenenbaum
Erin was our tour guide for both the Ghost and Vampires and Cemetery tours. She is a wonderful tour guide and human being! She is equally enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had such a great time with her on the Ghosts and Vampires tour that we immediately booked a Cemetery tour with her!
FYI: The Cemetery Tour is about history and architecture, which is exactly what we wanted! It is not focused on the supernatural, so if you’re interested in the American Horror Story/Vampire Diaries stuff, check out the Ghosts and Vampire tour.
I highly recommend taking both tours!
Caitlyn Dowse
We had a great time on the St. Louis #1 tour. Our guide Bobby was so informative! He sets you up with context and the history, then entertains the hell out of you with the stories of the Cemetary. Highly, highly recommend! We the had Evian for the Ghosts and Vamps tour as well as the saints and sinners tour and he was awesome! This tour company is great.. I mean we went on 3 tours in 3 days. Their people know their stuff. I appreciated that they stuck to the facts but would also share some of the lore if it were entertaining or needed to explain why it was false vs the information that was documented. Trust me the real stories are still very entertaining!
Julie Meller
Our tour guide was Hope. She was probably the best tour guide we could ask for. Her enthusiasm was contagious and her knowledge of the subject matter was impressive. It was an interesting tour, to be sure, but she really made the tour what it was. There was a very annoying drunk woman on the tour and Hope handled it like a pro. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. I thought this was going to be an hour tour but it was several hours long and I could have easily hung on for another hour or two of this tour. Very good!
Zac B.
We had Justin as our tour guide and he was incredible. The tour was a lot more historically based than I'd expected, but I was glad that it was. You can tell that Justin knew the history of the town like the back of his hand. He was funny, engaging, and helped me to understand New Orleans in a way I hadn't really expected to. We were able to stop and get drinks, to walk through several blocks of the town, and to see parts of the city that are easily overlooked. We'll definitely be coming back and we will absolutely do another of this company's tours.
Andrew Buttolph
We took a Saint Louis Cemetery #1 tour with Mary J and thought that she did a great job! She was very knowledgeable and had a fun personality that made her a good tour guide. She also gave us a lot of background about New Orleans that wasn’t just about cemetery #1. Overall I highly recommend this tour!
J Bernhard
I went on the TREME walking tour with Erin and the Garden District walking tour with Jeremiah. Both tour guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They answered questions with a lot of detail and clearly knew their stuff. During the Treme tour, Erin even provided old photos and aerial renderings of the part of Treme we walked through, to give us real perspective on the community before and after blocks of it were destroyed by the city to make way for the park.
If I can make one recommendation for anyone deciding on which tour to take - folks, GO ON THE TREME WALKING TOUR WITH ERIN. Learn about this neighborhood and it’s history, and about the people who lived there and still live there. It was very interesting and educational.
N8 Woods
What a great time! Tierika (sp?) Was our guide and she was so much fun. If you're trying to decide on a ghost tour, these are the guys you want!!
Evelyn Santos
We did 2 tours during out vacation. First we did Ghost and Vampire tour. Our guide Angela was funny and very entertaining. She was very knowledgeable. The tour was kid friendly as I had my niece with me and she also enjoyed it.
The following day we did was the Cemetery tour. Our guide Bobby was great. Since it was hot he made sure to give us most of the information in a shaded area or an air conditioned area before going in to the cemetery. They also give you a discount on hurricanes at the Voodoo Lounge before your tour starts.
W. Mee
Bobby was fun and informative. We loved this tour, we did the vampire and ghost one and had a great time. Bobby was theatrical and the tour was well organized. This tour made New Orleans come alive. We had a great time. We also took the St Louis #1 Cemetery Tour which was great too. Don't go to New Orleans without taking a tour from these guys - they were wonderful.
Stacy Chavis
Because of limited tours offered, I chose the ghosts and vampires tour. Our tour guide, Luke, was very articulated and well versed with his information throughout my experience! He maintained a very professional stance regarding all local guidelines. He kept the participants interested in his storytelling and left plenty of room for comments and questions.
By far my favorite touring experience, cannot wait to visit again for a cemetery tour!
Michelle Pierce
We purchased two tours for our trip to New Orleans. And after lots of research I choose this company and was not disappointed. Both of our tour guides where fabulous and the price was right in line with what I wanted. We had a large group of 11 people. We all loved the tours. We did the Ghost & Vampire tour with Steven & Garden District/Cemetery tour with Lee. You can tell they did a bunch of research and enjoyed what they did.
Heather Morton
We took the Saints and Sinners tour guided by Malika. It was super informative with some of the lesser known but more lascivious parts of New Orleans history. Our guide was awesome. She was friendly, informative, funny and helpful. This is a definite must-do in New Orleans. I would definitely do another tour with this group on my next trip.
Gayle Harris
Our tour guide was Bobby. I was impressed with this entire experience from start to finish. The price was great, check in was easy, and the guide was very entertaining as he explained the history of New Orleans and how it relates to the cemeteries. I had always wanted to take this tour and am so glad that I had the chance to do it. It was clear that Bobby loves New Orleans and he was really into telling us the stories - you could clearly see his respect for both the cemetery and the people buried there. Several times, I was very touched by both the story and the emotion with which it was told. I could have listened to him for the whole afternoon, and would have enjoyed it thoroughly and learned so much more about New Orleans, but I know that just isn't feasible. It was an awesome experience, and I am so grateful!!!
Cynthia Loveless
Luke was absolutely amazing! I honestly could have listened to him all day long. He was so knowledgeable and funny. My husband and I both really enjoyed this tour. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Would definitely recommend this tour. We did the cemetery tour.
Tracey Williams
We had Erin as our tour guide for the 1:30pm Saints and Sinners tour on 11/12 and she was amazing! She was super professional and educated yet fun and silly. I would 100% take another tour from Erin.
Sandra Lentini-Marocchi
My husband and I took a weekend trip to New Orleans and decided we were going to cram as much as we could into the weekend. On Saturday we booked the Cemetery tour and couldn’t be more pleased. We started the tour off in the Voodoo Lounge which was the coolest most chill bar I’ve been to in a long time. The bar tenders were awesome and friendly and 2 for 1 hurricanes came with our ticket. Once the tour started our tour guide Rob was great, he seemed to be very knowledgeable and even joked about his history major which I feel may have made him even better in this line of work. Rob had a great and warm attitude that made everyone feel welcomed on our journey through the cripts. I’d recommend that if you were to take this tour take it with Rob.
Denise Nelson
Erin was our tour guide and she was fabulous!! She had a lot of positive energy and was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about New Orleans history and had a chance to see so may different types of architecture. The cemetery was also very interesting. It was storming out... like really storming out and the tour took place anyway, just bring a raincoat just in case.
Sydney Sibelius
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with French Quarter Phantoms. Bobby, our tour guide, was great! He was funny and witty and extremely knowledgeable on the city and his tour. We loved learning about the history of New Orleans and the cemetery and would highly recommend any of their tours.
Cathy Holder
First time visiting NOLA and was definitely going to see St Louis Cemetery #1.
I found this tour online and so glad I picked it. Starting location is a dive bar (a good one at that!) and the tour waiting area had bathroom, tv, seats while you wait.
Our tour guide was Hope and she was GREAT! She was able to tell historical, anecdotal, and informative stories as well as answer all of our questions.
Definitely bring a bottle of water, use sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. Go to bathroom first. The tour is almost 2 hours start to finish. You do have a chance to stop at Visitors center before going into cemetery.
I would certainly recommend this tour. And next time I hope to be able to do one of their evening ghost tours!
Alex Alonso
What a fun walking tour! Our guide Christian was knowledgeable, passionate and very engaging. Had a great time seeing NOLA’s creepiest haunts! Would definitely recommend and do again.
Mike A
Our tour guide, Miss Malika, was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable about the music of New Orleans and the Treme area. Having the music of the musicians she talked about play over a portable speaker while conducting the tour added an unexpected touch to the entire tour. I recommend French Quarter Phantoms and the tour they provide to everyone who asked what I did on my visit to New Orleans. I'll definitely do this tour again.
Brandon Chance
We took 3 tours using this company and all of them were great. Learned a lot about the history of the city. The tours are definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting New Orleans.
Josie Silva
This tour was so much fun. Not only was it spooky it was educational. Our tour guide was Andrea and she gave great detail of the locations she took us to. She went I to detail about history and even had picture accounts of ghost sightings of some of the locations. I Hulu recommend this tour, ask for Andrea.
Bethany Duvall
Our guide Mary J. Was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable and the tour was really interesting and fun. Every member of the French quarter phantoms we encountered was nice, smiling, and welcoming. It was also really fun (and air conditioned!) to be able to hang out in their space behind the bar to have a couple of drinks and cool off before the tour. Highly recommend!
Gabrielle Loew
We went on this tour last weekend (11/9/18) and learned some interesting history about New Orleans. The drinks were great (but huge--thank goodness for the intermission bathroom break). Comfy shoes are a must. A jacket might even be suggested as the buildings create wind tunnels and it was in the 50s as it was when we went. Our tour guide, Justin, was awesome. He kept the cheesy (but still good) dad jokes coming and engaged the group very well to make sure we enjoyed the entire tour. Highly suggest!
Meghan O'Garr
We did the St. Louis Cemetery Tour and it was amazing! Our tour guide, Justin, was truly phenomenal. On most tours, at some point, I end up zoning out for a couple of parts, but he kept me interested the entire time. The content matter itself is fascinating. Also, you should definitely get a 2 for 1 hurricane at the bar.
Cory Dahlkamp
Our tour was amazing!!!! Our tour guide (Jason or Jeremy, I know it was a J....sorry dude,) was SO knowledgable and fun. He added lots of expression, jokes, enthusiasm and detail. We got a nice history of the French Quarter, descriptions and historical explanations of other areas before entering the cemetery.
The actual cemetery tour was AMAZING! I clearly knew nothing about the whens and whys of this burial method and am in awe.
We crossed paths with other tours and ours was BY FAR the best! Thank you so much!!
Lindsay
We went on the Garden District tour with Lee this past Saturday. He was kind, informative and HILARIOUS- it made the tour that much more fun! Keep up the great work!
Amy
This was such a great tour! We had so much fun exploring new orleans and learning the history and legends! Bobby Thomas was our guide. He was funny, was very good at telling the stories and was very knowledgeable The drinks were good too! I definitely recommend this tour!
Dhobie Wong
Great tour! New Orleans is fun and fascinating, but to know some of the sensational histories behind buildings that you wouldn’t even think twice about make it even more intriguing. Our tour guide Erin was great and was able to keep us corralled (we had some really drunk people in our group) and interested.
Andrea Masterson
Our tour guide was Lee and he was SO great! We went on a night when we were not prepared for a rare freezing night in New Orleans and despite the near-frostbite, Lee made it worth it! He was funny, entertaining, knowlegable, and personable. Be sure to request him. You only walk a handful of blocks between each story, but I highly suggest being prepared for the weather because you’re outside the entire time except for a quick bar break in the middle (which was a life-saver). Especially for the price, I highly suggest this tour!
Kelsey Melefsky
We had Angela as our tour guide for the St Louis #1 Cemetery tour. She was awesome! Very informative, had fun facts and was super engaging. Would definitely recommend, and plan on returning for another tour next time I'm in NOLA!
Amy Hernandez
Leonard was an excellent guide! Great way to see New Orleans. Entertaining stories about some of the spooky history of this old city.
Jackie Byars
We just completed the St. Louis No. 1 Cemetery tour! I just want to Thank our fabulous tour guide, Lee! He was extremely informative and had some overall great passion for what he does. I learned so much history and good information about the history of the cemetery as well as history of New Orleans. I would definitely suggest this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the history of New Orleans and also St. Louis No. 1 Cemetery is just amazing to see.
Brittany Cost
We loved our tour with Erin! They were very knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood, as well as current issues affecting the area and its residents. Would definitely recommend.
Jennifer Magilton
Our tour guide, Dylan, was great!! It was such a hot day, but he maintained his enthusiasm for the entire length of the tour. He was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information about the cemetery, but also New Orleans history. I would definitely book with them again!
Allison Foster
My husband and I went on the « ghosts and vampires » tour last weekend, and we were not disappointed. I spent a year living in New Orleans and have been on a ton of ghost tours, and this was by FAR the best. It was informative and atmospheric without being cheesy. Steven, our guide, was incredibly charismatic and a fantastic storyteller. I’m definitely planning on going on another one of their tours next time we visit!
Angelica McAlanis
Really enjoyed the tour. We learned a lot about the history of New Orleans. We were just a little disappointed and felt like the tour was cut short. Our tour guide was great! We were just hoping for a longer tour.
Alexia Hasbrouck
Dylan was an excellent tour guide! Our first tour was at St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 where we got to see some of the most beautiful tombs, including those of Nicholas Cage and Marie Laveau, while Dylan eloquently explained the history of the cemetery & New Orleans in general. Our second tour was in the Garden District and we were ecstatic to see that Dylan would once again be our guide! With each tour they give you a wristband which is good for 2-for-1 drinks at the Voodoo Lounge! Excellent experience all around.
Angel Harris
We loved this tour! Our guide, Bobby Thomas, was wonderful and really made the stories come alive through his fantastic storytelling! I definitely recommend this tour if you are interested in a bit of the history of New Orleans and its cemeteries!
Tricia Vowell
Robert T. Was a great route guide. The pace was good, he is a good story teller and is very knowable about NOLA history. I think he does a good job of reading the crowd in terms of how detailed to get with the grueling parts of the stories. I personally could have done without the bar stop in the middle of the tour, only because there was no story with the bar. Guess it was good for those who needed to use the restroom. Robert also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at the end of the tour.
JuDee Fischer
We did the St. Louis #1 tour and thought it was great! There was city history, cemetery logistics plus city lore all put together to make an entertaining and educational 2 hrs! Justin was our tour guide and he did a great job. I would recommend this tour to others.
Michelle Foss
My husband and I had the great pleasure of being in Lee's tour group for the Cemetery Tour. Not really knowing what to expect, we assumed it would be a lot of historical facts and folklore. Lee was so entertaining, full of personality and humor but still takes his job very seriously in order to provide you with the best experience. This helped us to appreciate the beautiful cemetery and history even more. Highly recommend!!
Molly Kreidler
We did the St Louis cemetery 1 tour, and it was amazing. Our tour guide, Luke, was extremely knowledgeable. We learned a lot, not just about the cemetery and the people buried there, but about Creole culture & cuisine, Louisiana history, the Voodoo religion, the civil rights movement, and the list goes on. He was funny too! Great tour. Would recommend to anyone.
Courtney Strickland
Amazing tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and kept us engaged the entire time. We even had a mini crisis during our tour (a participant passed out from the heat) and the situation was dealt with calmly and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans for the first time. Plus the buy one get one hurricane drinks at the end of the tour made a nice touch!
Marie DeStefano
Our tour guide Lee was bright, personable and ever so charming. He provided an inclusive and informative experience to the history of the Garden District focusing on both architecture and the historical socialite experience. I would gladly follow Lee anywhere in the city to experience his performative historical recall. Thank you for giving us an experience we'll never forget.
A Hales
When I saw the reviews I knew it was going to be good—but could it be THAT good? It can. It was. It IS.
We took two tours with them, a private crime tour and then a vampire ghost tour later that night. Mike was our guide for the crime one and WOW. How this man remembered so many names, dates, and stories is impressive in of itself, but the best part was his storytelling. Mike is a natural storyteller, which tracks because in speaking with him afterwards it turns out he's a retired comedian and improv coach. Like, a travel all over the world to teach other people positivity-focused improv, coach. Seriously. French Quarter Phantoms should make a sacrifice to the hiring gods for that acquisition, because holy smokes. I'd take more tours just to take them with Mike. You should request Mike, you should DEMAND Mike. Team Mike all the way.
The second tour was their most popular one, the vampire and ghost tour. AG was our guide for that and she was professional, knowledgeable, and overall excellent. She wrangled a large, mostly intoxicated group through the streets of New Orleans with ease and panache. Her jokes were funny, she had answers to all the questions, and she knew all the things. You could tell she loved her job and was passionate about what she was doing. Her only downfall was that she had to follow Mike, which frankly isn't even fair.
Highly, highly recommend this tour company. 13 out of 10.
SS L
My husband and I took the garden district walking tour, and found it very worthwhile, even though Lafayette cemetery was closed due to renovations. Our guide, Erin, was entertaining and knowledgeable. We had walked through the Garden District on our own before, and even took the guided “hop on hop off” bus tour the day before, but we learned so much more from Erin! The small group made it easy to ask questions, and the pace was just right for both younger and older tourists.
Daniel Hinton
The cemetery tour was very cool and educational. It was a chance to see a unique side of this unique city. The tour guide, Mary J, did a great job and we felt lucky to have her. We were able to book a morning tour right away on my phone, which really helped because our riverboat ride had been canceled on us and this was our last day in New Orleans. Planning to go back!
Having said all that, one thing that really bothered us was the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel on Canal Street. It's a real shame that the city government and developers have not done their job months after the incident. To all the workers, stay safe!
Steven Parker
The best! Professional, funny, and educational. A New Orleans historical cemetery tour is something I have always wanted to do. Worth it! It went above and beyond what I thought it would be. Justin, our tour guide, was great! I really appreciated the time he took to answer any and all questions. These guys are total pros. Loved it! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Jennisa Diaz
So I first did the 1pm cemetery tour with Billy and he was awesome very knowledgeable about New Orleans history my husband enjoyed every minute of it. We enjoyed it so much we called later in the day and reserved an 8pm vampires and ghost tour assuming it would be Billy again. We were a little bothered that it wasn't Billy for that tour but Justin was just as great. Justin was just as hilarious as Billy was and he was really knowledgeable as well about the New Orleans history we loved it! Next time we come back we are definitely doing this tour again!
Phyllis Repokis
Lee was our guide and he did a great job with our tour. He made the subject interesting and kept us entertained. It was an extremely warm day and I would advise going early in the day. You do get one stop for water and a bathroom. A great way to visit the cemetery and to learn about the customs in New Orleans
Amanda Taylor
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and so much fun!! She had a lot of insight being a local, as well as having an archeologist for a father. We will definitely be using this company for future tours.
Asha Gray
This is my third tour, over the four times I've been to NOLA but my first cemetery tour. I've never been disappointed. There check-in was easy, the price was great, we got to sit in the bar next door while we waited to start and they had a drink deal, for tour guests, if you want to start your day NOLA style.
Our tour guide Dylan was entertaining, educational and really energetic on a 90 degree day. I learned a lot and really enjoyed his funny puns. There was plenty of time to take great pictures as well. Since it was a bit warm, we were given time to hydrate and or buy water if you didn't plan ahead. If your looking for a cemetery tour this is the one to take!
Zack Meade
Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging! She stressed the importance of always keeping in mind that we were visiting the final resting place for many many people, and needed to respect the cemetery as such. With that in mind, she did a great job of educating us about how the cemetery came to be and the importance of the tomb designs. I highly recommend the tour, I will definitely being doing it again when I return.
A Perdomo Haines
Hope was an amazing tour guide, knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Family friendly tour with historical insight.
Jasmine Ivery
I did two separate tours with this company and they were both absolutely amazing. The guide, Evian, was incredibly fun and informative. He was able to answer all questions and went above and beyond to ensure that no one had any questions and were satisfied before moving onto the next portion of the tour. This company has a little waiting area attached to the Voodoo Lounge and is super comfy and air conditioned and a great place to wait for the tour to begin. They also offer 2 for 1 Hurricanes at the attached bar but those aren't worth it.
Chris Cook
We really enjoyed the tour we took last week on our honeymoon. Hope was engaging both in the way she talked about the history/stories as well as the type of details she gave. The second aspect is what stuck out to me most, as other tours I went on shared more generalities about things I already knew and am not by any means a history or New Orleans expert. Another thing I really liked is that when someone asked a question privately just among walks that was relevant for the whole group, she would share it with the entire group so everyone could learn something else. I'd definitely recommend to others and would be my top choice in taking another tour on a future New Orleans trip.
Randy Russell
This was such an awesome tour!! I would definitely do it again. Probably one of the best historic tours I’ve ever been on and I highly recommend it. We had Lee as a tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and super enjoyable. Thank you Lee for making our time in New Orleans that much more awesome!!
Sasha Smith
We did two different tours, we took the 11am tour of the St Louis cemetery #1 on a Saturday morning with Angela and she was fantastic! Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining which is everything I want in a tour guide! I learned a lot about the history of New Orleans from the tour and saw the tombs of some very important and influential people in Louisiana’s and the United States’ history. The tour starts at The Voodoo Lounge, with two for one hurricanes, which is awesome although being 11am on a Saturday morning, I did not partake lol. Angela kept the tour moving at a good pace so we weren’t standing around in one place for too long, but still had time to take pictures. We had Bobby Thomas for our tour guide for the Ghost and Vampire tour and he was fantastic! Spooky, funny, and highly informative, I love history and this tour offers a fun twist on the typical historical tours you can find in other cities. Bobby has amazing story telling abilities and was great at engaging with people on the tour, just be careful what you say or you might end up getting called glitter nips or Sharon, even if that’s not your name! We got caught in a rainstorm near the end of our tour, and Bobby arranged with the owner of the bar where we had our “intermission/bathroom break” (two for one hurricanes available at the start of the evening tour definitely necessitate a bathroom break!) to let us stay there and finish his last story. This tour was such a great time, made even better by an awesome tour guide! If you want the best possible version of this tour, ask for Bobby Thomas and you won’t be disappointed! Overall both tours were fantastic and well worth the money, don’t forget to tip your tour guides!
Anna Lewis
This was such an amazing experience! We had this as one of our evening activities on a bachelorette party in December, and it definitely got us into the spooky New Orleans spirit! We loved the drinks, our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, and energetic, and we had an overall wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend!
Alexis Olaes
Did the Ghosts and Vampires tour a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! Our storyteller was Erin, and she was AWESOME! She was filled with fun facts and puns and dad jokes and it made the tour super interesting and I learned a lot about the French Quarter

Mary J was our guide and one of the best I have ever had. The Cemetery tour was very good assuming it is your thing. Lots of "good info" about New Orleans and how the cemetery ties in. If you get up in the morning after a rough night on Bourbon street and want to learn about the city a little, French Quarter Phantoms has a number of tours worth taking a look at.

Took the Ghost and Vampire Tour with Bill, and he was awesome! Great guide with lots of local knowledge and some great jokes. He kept my fiancée and I entertained throughout the tour, and I definitely came away knowing way more about the area than when I came in. Would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends if they want an awesome ghost tour!

What an experience! Our tour guide, Melissa, was so knowledgeable and passionate and just simply wonderful. We would definitely love to return as the stories are so intriguing! The only criticism I had was the group was a little too large , so it was hard to hear at times (make sure you stay at the front). Despite this, it was truly outstanding and anyone visiting New Orleans should not hesitate to take this tour and get spooked ;)

We decided to go with the "Ghosts & Vampires" tour after searching online and looking at the brochures left in our Airbnb. It was decently priced, $20 per person but we got it for $17 per person by paying online. There were 20 people in our group and Luke was our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and hilarious. We were worried we'd get someone who was overdramatic or dry, but Luke was a great mix. The tour was great and hit the more "popular" haunts. Someone had asked about the show "The Originals" and where it was filmed so even though Luke said there wasn't much to see since they filmed very little in the French Quarter, he did show us where the a scene was filmed. So that was interesting.
If we get the change to come back to New Orleans, I will definitely book another tour with this company and hope that we get Luke if he's available! Worth the price and the walk. :)

This tour was very interesting and entertaining! Our group had a wonderful time gaining knowledge of the history of New Orleans and Lafayette Cemetery #1. Our tour guide Lena has a wealth of knowledge and shared it using her gift of story telling. This is a tour everyone should take!

We had Ms. Maleka for our family tour and she was amazing! Lots of fun and super informative and kept the kids interested. She also knew when they'd had enough and moved on. Would highly recommend this group for your tour. We live in town but had family visiting. Easy to book over the phone for last minute private tour! Thank you!

The Treme'/ Music tour was fantastic. Our tour guide Luke was knowledgeable, honesty and funny. He was a wealth of information and his way of storytelling was excellent. thank you

Lee was great! Very knowledgeable and fun. He was a great tour guide. Definitely recommend this tour! If we ever make it back to New Orleans, we will definitely do one of the other tours. We had so much fun!
Patricia Richards
Tour Guide Lee was great, very personable, and very knowledgeable. He knew another of history. I over heard other tour guides and they were not as good as Lee. I enjoyed his quarky jokes and his liveliness. He even showed us the way back to the place we started and gave us a little history on the way back. He's a very nice guy, you should request to be with him if he's available.

We went on the cemetery tour and could not have been more intrigued. Mary J did an awesome job of explaining the history. She clearly loves to share her knowledge of New Orleans. We enjoyed her jokes and were able to ask questions when necessary. Mary J was able to answer every question our group had! We would highly recommend!

Had a great time with Lee walking around the French Quarter and learning about the history.
It was an extremely hot day, but Lee was very personable and made the tour fun. Would love to go back and do other tours!

Request Erin's cemetery tour, she is SO knowledgeable and has great energy! We loved our tour with her. She takes extra care of her guests to ensure comfort, she even brought water bottles to make sure everyone stay hydrated, she's awesome!
Alysa Smith
Adelai was fantastic. She was funny and tremendously entertaining.

We really enjoyed our tour guide Erin. She had a lot of great details to share at every stop. This was a unique way to see the city and learn more about its history and bonus...get a lot of steps in. It didn't start and end at the same place, so be aware of that.

We enjoyed the St. Louis Cemetery #1 and the Saints and Sinners tours. Our tour guide, Hope (Gertrude for those that didn’t like the tour), was funny, resourceful and well informed. The only suggestion I would make is to incorporate more of the dark history of NO, from slavery to Katrina. NO is a resilient city and its people have lived the test of time and they’re still going. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Took a tour of the Treme with tour guide Erin. As a middle aged white guy from the Ozarks, I was treated to an immersive, informative and entertaining venture into a culture and environment that is entirely different than my own. The knowledge and attention to detail was really amazing and the story into the oldest African American neighborhood in the United States was breathtaking. I loved getting insight into a rich yet hidden backstory of a unique version of the American experience. If you likewise enjoy learning about Americana possibly through a prism alien to your own experience, I highly recommend the Treme tour. Truly wonderful. Thank you.

We went on two tours today with guide Justin Wood (Cemetery No. 1 and Saints & Sinners). They were well organized, left pretty much on time, and Justin was very knowledgeable about the city. He delivered the information in a way which was funny, memorable, and didn't feel scripted even though I am sure he's done the tours hundreds of times. He was also able to answer questions from myself and others after the tours about the city, history, etc. Both tours have a short break about halfway through to use the restroom and get a drink (cemetery is at a visitor center and Saints & Sinners is at Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop), both breaks were appreciated.

We took the Cemetery No 1 tour this past weekend! While it was humid, the tour was very informative. Robert was very knowledgeable about the area and told the stories as they are, not embellished or sensationalized. He provided us a nice break and told us where we could cool off after a hot morning walking. we enjoyed it and would come back again.

I loved it! This was such a great experience .These guys really know their stuff. My tour guide was Bobby and he was hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable on everything New Orleans. I highly recommend these guys . They're top notch. If I'm back in the area I plan on doing another one of their tours.
Myles H
Great tour! Our guide Bobby was VERY knowledgeable and a wonderful story teller. He crammed a bunch of information into a small window but still made it fun. I would recommend 100% and look forward to trying another tour on the next trip.
Jamison Parker
We had such a blast with the cemetery tour with Robert. He was full of knowledge but made history fun. He kept everyone engaged and asking questions. We loved it so much we went back the next night for the ghost and vampire tour with Justin. Justin was hilarious and kept us entertained. The tour was fun with a hint of spooky, just enough the keep me up for a few hours. Will be doing tour again with French Quarter Phantoms when we are in town again.
Anna Cairo
My husband and I went on the Ghosts and Vampire tour - Miss Rhodesia was an amazing tour guide, very respectful and made sure we were all comfortable on the tour! The stories were great and her personal testimonies of what she had experienced were very interesting! Wonderful tour, highly recommend!
Eileen Mushenheim
We went on the cemetery tour and our tour guide was Dylan. He was very informative and animated which kept everyone entertained. We learned quite a bit about the early history of New Orleans as well as the history of the cemetery. I would recommend him highly if you are thinking about doing a cemetery tour. He made a tour about a somber subject lots of fun.
Jennifer Hammer
We had Bobby Thomas as our tour guide and he did an amazing job! His knowledge of and enthusiasm for New Orleans was so visible with every story he told. It was the highlight of our trip to the city this past week. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Nathan Brewster
Of all the tours that we did this past summer trip in New Orleans, my girlfriend and I would easily recommend others to go on the cemetery tour put on by French Quarter Phantoms. I unfortunately can't remember our guides name but he was excellent and made our tour very, very enjoyable. Bring a bottle or hydroflask or water since you will be walking a bit but otherwise I thought it was something that anyone would enjoy.

This tour was a blast!! Very interesting to learn all about NOLA's dark past. Our tour guide Bobby Thomas did a fabulous job presenting the details, answering our groups questions and adding his humor to make it a great time! Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning a bit more about NOLA than a typical historic walking tour! So much fun!!
Erin Wingbermuehle
Our tour guide Robert was very knowledgeable and personable. Tour was excellent. Tour purchase also came with buy one get one free hurricanes, which cannot be beat in New Orleans. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans!
Catherine Clements
We went on the ghost and vampire tour with Erin and enjoyed her so much that we decided to also go on her Garden District tour, and I'm so glad we did! The time and work she puts into researching the stops on the tour is obvious and her excitement in sharing her city with visitors makes you feel so welcome and excited to explore more on your own. Can't recommend enough!
Samantha Noll
Had a great time on our tour! Justin was our tour guide and he was great! He gave us lots of historical facts along the tour and kept everyone laughing with his humor. We will definitely be back again!
Becky Sierras
We absolutely LOVED our tour of St Louis #1 cemetery!! Our tour guide Leena was amazing!!! We learned so much history and you could tell Leena loves her job!! Everyone was very nice. Wish we had more time to book more tours!! Until next time! Thank you!

Luke was a fantastic tour guide. I studied history in university and love taking these types of tours to get a taste of how people view their own history. This was by far the most nuanced look at the complex history of the American South I've ever heard. The content was really thoughtful and delivered by an amazing storyteller. The only other thing I will note regarding this tour was the structure - I appreciate the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the tour; this is clearly not their first rodeo and the use of the visitor centre and tips/warnings meant the tour went without a hitch. Well done French Quarter Phantoms for a phenomenal cemetery tour
Tiffany R
I went on the Saints and Sinners tour and Mikala was amazing. She’s such a great story teller. I really enjoyed hearing more about how New Orleans came to be what it is today. I especially liked learning about stuff I hadn’t heard about on more traditional tours( this was way more interesting). They also sell 2 for 1 hurricanes before the tour and there's mid tour bar break.
Christina Revis
I choose French Quarter Phantoms for every tour I do in New Orleans I've done all their tours (other than private tours) more than once! I can't remember the very first guides name that i had but he was an absolute dream of a tour guide. Knowledgable, fun, patient with the drunks and great at his job. (He had dark curly hair, then I think next time I saw him he had blue hair? Then I saw him again and its back to black I think haha)
This year we got Mary multiple times and she was SO enthusiastic and fun. We loved her and definitely recommend her to anyone. Our saints and Sinners tour was run by Mike. He was also awesome. I've never had a tour guide that I did not love there. You can't go wrong with these guys. They actually strive really hard to tell you the fun stuff but also tell you all the facts and openly tell you when something is fiction or rumor vs fact. No cheap thrills here. Love love love

Our tour guide, Andrea, was very engaging and knowledgeable.
Unfortunately we didn’t have any cash on us for a tip; she definitely did a great job!!!
Racquel Alston
This is an amazing walking tour company! My group took the St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour. Our guide was funny, informative, and kept a great pace. Her voice was easy to hear above the crowds too! I would do this again in a heartbeat.
Nina Derrick
I absolutely LOVED this tour! Bobby Thomas was our guide and was very knowledgeable and respectful about the beautiful history of St. Louis cemetery #1! Of all the guides there he was absolutely the best! I'd highly recommend the tour if you're in the area and please ask for Bobby to guide you!
Kristi MacDonald
We did the Cemetery tour. Our guide Angela was a dynamic storyteller - very informative and interesting. This tour was one of the best things we did in New Orleans. We were sorry that were leaving and not able to do their ghost tour which I'm sure would have been awesome! Would definitely recommend!
Meaghan Holland
We came to New Orleans for our honey moon. We booked a ghost and vampire tour with french quarter phantoms and man they do not disappoint! I loved learning the horrific history of New Orleans. Our tour guide was great! The whole experience was awesome! Would totally recommend.
Amber Oakes
This tour was fabulous and made even better by our hysterically funny guide, Lee! You could tell he knew his stuff and made the tour entertaining while we learned. He was even thoughtful enough to provide change if needed for the pay-to-use restroom and water! His love of the area and architecture really shown through and was contagious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and I am grateful a friend recommended it to me!
Shad Baird
Malika did a fantastic job guiding this tour. You could tell she loves her city. Her story telling was on point and made sure to answer all of our questions. This was definitely a highlight of our first trip to New Orleans.
Amie Murphy
Erin was really extraordinary! I think the tour would’ve been great with any guide but Erin was funny and engaging and full of a lot of local facts and history that I don’t think other guides would have been privy to. The cemetery section was my favorite; I love cemeteries and Erin had several interesting historical facts to share which made it all that more awesome and fun for me ! We had a great time !!
mal
Our tour guide was very entertaining, and it was a lovely and educational experience. I thought all of their macabre reasoning behind their architectural designs for the city was fascinating and easily made the whole visit that much more endearing.
Unrelated, I got engaged on that visit in from of the tomb of Marie Laveau, and they handled everything with poise. Y'all are very sweet people!
Brooke Wegermann
We went in June and did the cemetery tour, it was very informative and interesting. I recommend bringing water, a hat and an umbrella though because it was brutally hot! Dylan was our guide and he did such a great job, I don’t know if we would have had as good of a time if it had been guided by anyone else!
Jessica McKelden Bennett
Our tour guide (Sam) was amazing! He was passionate about the subject, fun to listen to, and clearly knowledgeable about NOLA and the cemeteries. I used a Groupon, which was quick and easy to set up and saved us a lot of money for a whole group. Good variety of tours. Only got to take the cemetery tour this time around, but I'll definitely be looking them up the next time I'm in NOLA.
LeeAnn Cure
Sam was a phenomenal tour guide for our Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery Tour. Our tour was funny, educational and entertaining, and we loved that he kept it PG for the younger travelers in our group. Sam is passionate about sharing his hometown and his love for the history and culture of beautiful New Orleans. Thank you for a wonderful tour!
