I recently used Vacationisms’ services to book my teenage son’s flights to and from Guatemala for a study abroad program. Since this was his first time flying solo internationally, I wanted to be sure we were booking him with the most reliable carrier possible. I also wanted to be sure that his layover went through a specific airport. Searching on my own, I could not locate flights that fit our criteria. Sara was able to quickly find good flight options and made recommendations for the most punctual carrier. Processing the booking through Vacationisms’ secure online portal was easy and seamless. Sara was quick and thorough with communication and provided us with important information on traveling to this specific country and their COVID policies. I had forgotten to request emergency exit row seats to accommodate my son’s long legs - and when asked after booking, Sara promptly gave me directions on how to make that change. She sent us reminders the day before departure and let us know about some road construction that could affect our drive to the airport in Boston so we could plan an alternate route. She stayed on top of his returning flight and even was aware that his suitcase did not make his connecting flight and offered her assistance if needed. Fortunately, it was delivered the next day, but it was nice to know she was available if we needed extra help communicating with the airline. Vacationisms provided us with exceptional service and I wouldn’t hesitate to plan travel with them again.

My wife and I decided to use Vacationisms to book our honeymoon in 2019. Filling out the form to get contacted was very easy, and from start to finish our advisor, Sara, was nothing short of thorough. Not only does she do all the booking and update you on status of flights, etc, but when we landed at our destination, she gave us a lot of tips for while we are down there such as how to navigate through the airport, etc. She also checked in on us constantly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and was always available to answer questions if we had them. I would 100% recommend this service to anyone looking to travel. It takes so much of the "pain" out of traveling so you can enjoy your daily life, then your vacation life.

We used Sara for our Honeymoon. What a great decision! My now husband and I had very limited travel experience, and we decided last minute that we would be able to take our honeymoon, which left us with little time to plan and research. We didn't even know where we wanted to go. I decided to try a travel agency. I called Vacationisms simply after reading reviews. NO REGRETS. Sara did EVERYTHING and sent us on a trip that was more than we expected; special, luxurious, affordable, adventurous, and beautiful. She eased our concerns and answered our many questions. She was readily available and on the ball. She even checked in with us to make sure we arrived and everything was as we expected. I highly recommend her. She is knowledgable, she listens to what you want and she will not let you down. We plan on traveling more now that we have had this experience and we will be booking through Vacationisms again for sure! Thank You Sara!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible our experience with Sara and Vacationisms was. I am going to try to do our experience the full amount of justice possible in this review - but if you take nothing else from this - just HIRE SARA! The level of professionalism, attention to detail, support from every single step beginning to end and knowledge of resorts and locations was amazing and beyond helpful. I found Vacationsims via a 1am google search mid meltdown while trying to plan our destination wedding on my own. Sara responded first thing in the morning, schedule a call with me immediately and I kid you not said “give me a list of what you are stressing out about and losing sleep over and I will help you take it from there.” My God! That was music to my lack of sleep, mentally fried, emotionally distraught self. Sara helped us nail down the perfect country, part of the country and then resort to have our wedding. She did this not just by making suggestions, but by listening to what was important to us; budget, swimmable ocean, the right temperature, accommodating our group of 50 plus, flight costs and availability in the winter season coming from the Midwest, resort size, resort amenities, wedding packages and the ability to build our own concept. All of it! Seriously, the list goes on and on. Once we selected the perfect location, Sara was there for me every step of the way - working with our coordinator for the wedding itself, giving suggestions about our wedding because she had ACTUALLY been to the property and could speak to it SPECIFICALLY and had personal connections there to keep things moving smoothly along the way. Having been on site may seem like a small detail, but let me tell you - game changer! We found so much comfort in making decisions because Sara and her team were able to actually speak to personal experiences on the property. Sara and her team did an incredible job helping all 50 plus of our guests book flights, the resort, airport transportation, ACTIVITIES, spa! Everything. My guests also raved about how comforting it was to have someone so knowledgeable making all of their arrangements. One would think that once our trip was booked and final wedding details were hammered out, Sara and her teams job would be done. As realistically, it should have been. HOWEVER, Sara checked in on us every single step of the way - she was there for some unforeseen flight issues, she answered texts and phone calls HAPPILY and solved problems or concerns I had while on site at the resort immediately. Planning a destination wedding, you are GOING to have some issues or concerns/questions once you get on site, it’s just the name of the game - but, having Sara to help smooth things out, dot I’s and cross T’s meant SO much less stress for us and our family - and so much more enjoying ourselves upon arrival. I could go on forever - but I’ll spare you... hands down, do NOT try to book and plan your own destination wedding. I promise you, hiring Vacationisms will be the single handed best decision you will make in your planning process. Our wedding was a dream, and none of it would have been possible without Sara and her team. Happy Getting Married in Paradise Planning!

I'm so grateful for a great travel agent! When we arrived for our honeymoon, we were checked in to the wrong room – I sent a text to Sara, the owner of Vacationisms, and she was able to get us moved to the correct room in under an hour. It was amazing!! I've had issues traveling before when I booked it myself, and it never seems like online booking companies care once you've paid. It's a totally different experience when booking with Vacationisms.

I learned the hard way that sometimes you just need an expert who knows the best resorts, has connections, and can make sure your wedding or event runs off without a hitch. Especially if you are doing it abroad. Sara is that person. She is beyond knowledgeable, available when you need her and even caught mistakes from the resort to save me a ton of money on my wedding. Weddings are important and when you need an expert in your corner, Sara should be that person.
