Worth every penny! Very thorough tour and quite entertaining. Must try! I did both tours. The one with Jeff was from 10am-3:30pm. It was very entertaining and he took great care of us! The second tour, with Chellsee, was the 2 hour celebrity homes tour from 4pm-6pm. We saw so many celebrity houses, it was very fun! Highly recommended.

Sooooo much fun. Guide was hilarious. Loved the open bus we were on, made taking photos super easy. There were a few stops along the way to make sure we could get out, stretch and get up close with some iconic landmarks and great views.

Great tour!! Before going to LA I watched many tours online and ultimately decided to take the Hollywood Bus Tour. The tour started on Hollywood Blvd and took us up to Mulholland Dr, into Beverly Hills and West Hollywood. The tour guide was very knowledgeable answering questions, pointing out how to the stars abs historic hot spots of Los Angeles. I would definitely take the tour again!

Randomly bought a Groupon for $20 and it was 10/10 experience! My tour guide was well knowledgeable and made everyone feel super comfortable! It’s a must if you want to get some great shots of LA and the fancy parts!

I feel like everyone should attend a tour bus once in your life right? And even if you are a local everything is always a teaching moment! I loved this tour because our driver / tour guide was very informative! Chellsee was fun, interactive and knew their stuff about Hollywood, Los Angeles , and Beverly Hills! Love the celebrity homes and 411 of it all! I generally liked the tour wasn't so rushed and everyone had amazing views and photos to take! The bus takes you up To the hills and view of the entire suburbs of Los Angeles. You end up also driving down to Beverly Hills and get all the 411 and majestic views of these mansions! Tour ends with the drive on sunset and back to where your pick up is which is the Hollywood walk of fame! I definitely enjoyed our 1-2 hour tour! Thanks will definitely refer!

This is a typical faster than the speed of light tour. No way you could get a decent photo. Didn't care for the snide comments about black celebrities at all. But we did get to see a lot of driveways.

First off, when we arrived the young lady at the counter was awesome. She was friendly and even offered her own seat to one of our family members while we waited. Additional accommodations were made by the staff and I gotta tell ya, it was very much appreciated. Let's talk about our tour and tour guide. The tour itself was super fun and extremley informative. We saw so many things in LA. Jason was our tour guide and I just loved everything about the guy. He was down to earth and wore different hats depending on the mood or who he was communicating with. We had a large party and he found a way to fit right in with us. It felt like a family member was showing us around and hanging out with us. We had a bunch of kids and one of our kids was throwing a tantrum, crying for an extended period of time and Jason made so many attempts to help us quiet him down or make him laugh. He was so patient with us even when he had a screaming baby in his ear for upwards of 30 minutes. He had such a good attitude and was just everything you'd want your tour guide to be. Parking was right around the corner for a good price. Jason, I appreciate you and your staff. Thanks to Chris for the awesome communication prior to tour to get us up and going.

Jeff was our tour guide. He was very personable, funny, and told hilarious jokes. He made the tour exciting and worth the money and time. He’s very knowledgeable on the tour sites and history. Our Driver was awesome! I liked the fact that he didn't just ramble and talk fast. He took his time explaining to us and was funny at the same time. Very informative and fun tour! Ali helped us out by getting us on a tour at the very last minute. She took down my phone number when I inquired about the sold out 1pm tour. She called me when someone didn’t show up and we were able to go. She was so friendly and I appreciated her amazing service! Thank you Ali! Our tour guide was BB. He was great and very interactive. We saw so many homes and got a great picture of the Hollywood Sign. I’d highly recommend this tour.

My family and I weren't originally planning on visiting Hollywood, but we decided to do the Hollywood Bus Tours because we were interested in looking at celebrity houses. This is truly an amazing tour!! It's so nice to be able to do a half day tour and not feel like you are sitting on the bus all day. The energy, jokes, little pockets of info that you wouldn't get on an open bus generic tour and the time away from it, make it a perfect day! We had Jeff as our tour guide and he was fantastic! He made it a super fun day and was chilled throughout. Highly recommend to anyone coming into LA and wanting to see the hotspots and get to spend some time in different places. Thanks Jeff!!

Jeff was an awesome, funny, and inspiring tour guide. He provided laughs, great views, and excellent driving skills. Loved the trip to The Farmers Market and Grove, where I ate a delicious lunch, shopped local vendors, and enjoyed a stroll around the stalls. Santa Monica Pier is a great place to visit, see the Ocean, play on the beach, and take selfies at the end of Route 66. Griffith Observatory had the best views of LA and Hollywood sign, lots to see inside, a teaser for future visit to the Planetarium. Would highly recommend this tour for an overview of Los Angeles.

Loved it. Driver had a great sense of humor. Best way to see some awesome sites in LA in half a day. If you fell in love with a place or wanted to learn more, go back and visit the next day. I love Farmers Markets - being from AZ I visit them frequently- but I was astounded by the set up of this one.

Chellsee was an awesome tour guide and driver. The LA traffic can be very challenging but she was able to navigate the streets quickly and safely. She was a wealth of information about the greater LA area and was very helpful with making suggestions/recommendations. I feel we got more than our money's worth on this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to see the highlights of LA.

Driver (Jeff) was great!! Loved the history as well as the humor!! We felt like we got a well rounded tour of the Hollywood area without having to drive it ourselves. The only thing our group wishes was that we could see better out of the bus. Not sure how you would remedy that, but still would highly recommend this tour!!

This was our second year visiting LA and riding with Hollywood Bus Tours. This year was even better thanks to our awesome and informative tour guide, Chelsea. She was *amazing* and showed us celebrity homes we didn’t see last year on our tour. We even happened to see two celebrities while on tour in Beverly Hills. Overall, awesome experience and a good value for the money. HIGHLY recommend Hollywood Bus Tours!! Also, to note, all of their vans are new. The other tour companies use old vans.

I loved this experience😊 nice to see houses or communities where fave celebs live, houses where fave movies were shot, overlooking glimpse of universal city, and where the rich and famous shop dine and do their activities lol. The driver is very experienced and nice. Very informative, friendly, and She gave us tips on what to be cautious about touring around the area♥️

We did the tour over Labor Day weekend. It was HOT. The bus had no windows of course, but even the breeze wasn't enough to be conformable. This wasn't the tour company's fault, it just kind of made it not as enjoyable. The tour itself was great. I kind of thought we were going to be able to stop at some of the important landmarks, like the Hollywood sign, but we just drove past it and they pointed it out. I recommend getting there early because they allow you to get on the bus in the order that people checked in, so if you check in last, you will get the back where it is a bit harder to see. It was nice being able to sit back and just look out the windows at all of the places and have someone else drive since I am always the drive and don't really get to look around while driving.

Absolute a must do!!!! Are driver G was very personable and informative. He was able to answer every question we had. He even parked the van to let everyone off to take photos by the Beverly Hills sign!!! Shout out to Anna who booked are reservation!! She even moved the parking post to allow us tonpark in front of the pick up area, saving us $$$ on parking.

A must-do when you're visiting LA. This will save you a lot of time and money going to each attractions by yourself plus Jeff, our tour guide was hilarious and made the tour so fun. No dull moments while driving around and he shared a lot of details in every attractions we're went to. Chelsea was great. The bus could use a good cleaning between tours. It needs to be wiped down and sprayed with Lysol. Also, customers need to understand they should be back on time. Only one stop was one family late by 10-15 minutes. I think it’s okay to tell tourist or they should be penalized. This impacts and impacted our other stops especially with the bad traffic. Overall, this was great.

Went on both tours and had a great time. The tour guides are insightful, funny, and nice. However, I wish they included some newer information. The facts are mostly from the 70s and 80s which is still cool to learn about but the older adults definitely get a bigger kick out of it.

Elizabeth was our driver and guide, she was a big personality, lively and upbeat the whole tour, she had amazing local knowledge, not just of the stars houses but of everything to make the most of our stay. We had a great tour. Our tour guide, Jeff had a great voice and knew something about all the areas we visited or passed. He also had some really bad, although sometimes funny "dad jokes". The half day tour was great, it included a very nice hour visit to the Santa Monica Pier, and also a visit to the Famers Market and the Observatory. We got to see alot that we wouldn't have seen on our own. The tourbis fun and worth every penny.

Excellent I was only in LA for a day after passing through from AUS to home in England. I figured the best way to see the major sights without booking an Uber was to jump on one of these tours. I found this one through a Trip Advisor top 10 and the 2 hour tour ensured I’d be able to chill out before my flight. I was amazed at how much Chellsee managed to fit in to two hours and her memory and knowledge of the route and area was incredible. Especially as she is from Montana. I can honestly say I felt really satisfied after the tour and that I’d seen the majority of the famous sights in the little time I had, and for the price. It was 100% worth every penny. Thanks guys. When I come back for longer I’ll definitely be coming for the longer tour.

It’s a nice tour with a friendly tour operator, Chillsee. You don’t see lot of homes up close but that’s probably as close as one can get. Hollywood sign isn’t close enough on this tour unfortunately.

I found this place on Yelp and was convinced by the reviews. WOW! Thank you Yelp for helping us find this wonderful company. First of all, the booking process is so easy and intuitive. And the prices are so reasonable. I booked for my family, and my 2 groups of friends booked for same day/time. So we almost filled the whole van ourselves! Our guide (I unfortunately can't remember his name, I waited too long to write this review) was FANTASTIC! He was funny and really informative and had great energy. We did the 2-hour tour and it was over too quickly. Honestly, I wish we had done the 5-hour tour. Maybe next visit! Just one note: it can get cold and windy in the van if you're a wimp like I am, so dress warmly.

We weren't able to go on our original 5 hour bus tour, my own fault, but ANA was amazing and helpful. Her super positive attitude, blessings and actions made it possible to join a different tour for the day. Although it wasn't the original plan, the 2 hour tour was perfect. MATT was an amazing guide. He was very fun, interactive and knowledgeable. The people on the tour were a lot of fun too, so it truly ended up being a great tour. These people are all about customers services and satisfaction. With that being said the tour was awesome. Nice comfortable and clean buses and the tour guides are on top of their game spotting stars and circling the block so we all could get our pics. Really worth it!! I was traveling with my kids, and this was the only tour bus that didn't over charge on pricing, especially for young children. The service was really good and the bus was clean. I booked a 2 hr slot perfect timing for my 2 yr. This time slot does go little faster but still worth the tour! Taking the tour guide is a great opt for ppl that don't won't to deal with traffic and just wanna sit back and relax and let someone do the work! If I didn't have children I would have most definitely booked a longer tour. FYI might wanna bring a jacket bc it can get pretty windy during the ride!

Driver was 20 minutes late and couldn't understand why everyone was grumpy when he finally arrived. Next time start by apologizing and maybe a joke to loosen people up? Other than that, he pointed out celeb houses and some famous landmarks. He missed puff daddy staring right at us but the kids and I didn't. Was really only a 2 star tour but he didn't get into an accident while driving pretty aggressively so he gets an extra star.

Came to LA to visit family and decided at the last minute to take the Hollywood tour. We purchased our tickets on Groupon and arrived at 12:30pm. It was 16 of us but not enough room on the bus. We encountered Ana and we had so many questions that we were bombarding her with, her attitude stayed pleasant while she answered ALL of our questions. Then ANA SAVED THE DAY!! Thanks to our great driver Jason, we got to see so many cool celebrity homes, and other LA landmarks. He has lots of knowledge about the history of so many places, and is a very engaging, funny, and friendly driver. Prices for this tour are great, and it is definitely worth booking. The tour bus has open windows, with a roof to keep us safe from the sun. Some other tour companies we noticed didn’t have the roof feature. The pick up and drop of is easy in the centre of Hollywood. We also got to do a quick stop to take photos with the Beverley hills sign. We will recommend this tour to our friends and family who also travel to LA. Glad to be the first Aussies back on Jason’s tour circuit, post covid 😁 thanks again!

I had the best time on this tour (Half-day Sightseeing of the Best of LA). I chose it because it has a really convenient departure point (on Hollywood Boulevard, so easy to get to if you’re not driving) and gives you stops with proper time at the key places - an hour each at Santa Monica Beach, the Grove and Farmers’ Market, and the Griffith Observatory where you can see THE sign. It was a perfect itinerary and I felt like I got to see everything in a comfortable way. Jeff was great, very friendly and helpful - and you get his jokes and soundtrack along the way too, bonus! Loved it, would highly recommend, thank you.

This was a great tour! I highly recommend this particular tour - "Taste of LA" half day tour. Our guide was great (forgot his name), the bus was comfortable with a total of 14 people on it. What we really liked is that we got to see several things that were on our list but without having to drive to them ourselves, find parking or pay for parking. We made about 1 hour long stops at Santa Monica Pier, The Farmer's Market/The Grove and Griffith Observatory. We also drove by some other attractions and got some background on those, too. Again, this was nice as I didn't have to do the driving and I learned more than I would have by just driving around. The 5 or so hours kind of flew by. In reality, we would have liked longer to enjoy both the Farmer's Market area and the Pier. We used some info we learned to plan some activities for later in our trip - We went to the Laugh Factory and returned to the Farmer's Market area. We also returned to the beach to bike on the boardwalk and explore that more. The meeting area for the tour was easy to find and the employee were welcoming and professional. We parked in the recommended ramp nearby which was convenient. I'd do this tour for sure.

The bus tour we took with Hollywood Bus tours was both enjoyable and informative, even for someone like myself who is not in the least bit interested in the lives of celebrities. Our guide and operator Chellsee is very knowledgeable about the entertainment industry and who lived where and who did what to whom, as well as familiar with the history of Los Angeles and the region and how the auto industry destroyed public transit for its own benefit. She took great care to ensure that we could take pictures and videos of the places she pointed out to us, and described in a very balanced way the attitudes of the celebrities towards the paparazzi and tourists (such as us), also commenting on some houses which seem to have been constructed so as to be inevitable victims of the next earthquake. I heartily recommend Hollywood Bus Tours and wish anyone who books a tour with them to be as fortunate as we were in our guide.

Ok, so first off the lady at the front counter was very polite and helpful she also offered her seat to us as well. Our bus driver was very knowledgeable with information on the city as well as historical landmarks and with the locations we went to. Not once within the 2 hours did me or my family ever feel bored but we also felt included with the way our tour guide interacted with us. Would recommend and very well deserved 5 stars.

My tween daughter and I decided to head north from San Diego to check out Hollywood. I looked into quite a few tour companies and decided to give this one a try. I'm so glad I did! The driver was extremely knowledgeable and fun. She had a great sense of humor. She gave a great run-down of the celebrity homes, shared some interesting Hollywood stories, and unexpectedly had an amazing understanding of luxury cars (of which we saw many!). The tour took us through the Hollywood hils, through Beverly Hills neighborhoods, through Rodeo Dr., through the Sunset Strip, and back up Hollywood Blvd. I had not been to this area in years, so it was absolutely enjoyable to let a professional do the driving (and entertaining). As a bonus, this is a new company, so the vehicles are almost immaculate. I highly recommend giving this tour a try.

OK - I am going to start the review by saying the outside/location of this place is a bit on the sketchy side. The store front it is associated with smelled like raw sewage the day we were there - not sure if that is everyday - but it was really bad!! BUT then it was awesome. Our tour guide was amazing - he knew everything and everything. The trip was fun and entertaining. The tour guide even had a video of him with a group in front of P Diddy's home and Diddy came out and hugged everyone and tried to take off in the bus with the group. Amazing!! Much more fun than I anticipated so please look past the exterior of the building because this was one of the highlights of out trip.
