Great! I had a 5 hour tour with Eric and he was great! Being born and bred in LA Eric was very informative and told me all about the history of the city. The front desk and the rest of the staff were very helpful and nice. This was my first time riding a bike in over a year and my first time on a electric bike. We went to Beverly Hills, Culver City, West Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and other places. It was about 30 miles and I was tired at the end and part of me were soar but I would do it again. I’m even considering purchasing an electric bike from the company. This is a great tour for anyone who wants to see LA and exercise while doing it.

Best bike tour I’ve ever had. Originally I thought that a 6 hour bike tour of LA was going to be too much (I’m 65) but man was I wrong. Our tour guide, Matt, made our tour both fun and interesting at the same time. He took us through places in LA that I’d never be able to see or experience unless I was on a bike. He spaced our stops throughout the tour to share some fun facts about different locations and give us a minute to get off the bike to stretch out a bit (or just hydrate). You can do this tour with a standard bike but I highly recommend you upgrade to an e-bike. The e-bike is easy to use and provides that extra kick that you may need on some of the hills. It’s also a great way to meet new people. We were fortunate enough to ride with Eline and Sarah from Belgium. They are world travelers and it was so good to hear their perspective on not only LA but the USA and several European countries that they have visited. All in all, this tour is 10.

Such an amazing experience. Booked this tour with our GoCity pass and it was absolute highlight of our trip. Our tour guide (Erick M) was so knowledgeable, charming and caring. He always made sure that we were safe and had enough time to walk around and take photos. We picked regular bikes instead of e-bikes for the extra challenge, but the Beverly Hills turned out to be not that steep. Highly recommended if you want to spend 3 hours exploring LA in a special way.

A great way to see all of LA in 6 hours and avoid usual traffic issues! Will have to come back with my next visitors. Harris was an awesome guide: knowledgeable, experienced, caring (carried extra water bottles for the group and made sure we are OK regarding our bodily needs), communicable and friendly. Also, electric bikes are amazing! Need to get one now!

We had a very nice tour with a great guide called Mickey. We did the LA in 1 day. It was a wonderful experience with a very good guide. It is a quite sporty trip with several steep hills. If you are not a bit fit an e-bike is recommended

Went to Hollywood sign tour on 10 November. It's a great experience. Our guide " Noelle" is very good in explaining the history of the Hollywood area and gave us very good information about the area. She took some really good photos patiently. It was a great time with her as a guide. I would totally recommend this agency for any hiking tours near LA.

George was our guide and he was amazing! He was super attentive and had tons of personality, which made it fun yet safe! I had to stop a few times since I’m not used to these types of physical activities and George biked back to make sure I was ok and even gave me an electrolyte pack since it was very hot out. I made it to the end and even though I was exhausted and my body hurt, I’m glad I pushed my limits and saw everything I wanted to see and more!

Both Daryl and Liz were excellent guides, each taking time with us to capture the perfect photos and provide some great insights on the history of the city of Los Angeles. I highly recommended both these tours.

Emily was our guide for the hike and we could not have asked a better experience. Her commentary was equal parts informative and humorous, and my boyfriend and I left with a greater appreciation for the LA area. There were also a couple of locals on the hike with us, and it was clear that even they were learning new things! We shared a ton of laughs and got some great suggestions for other stuff to do while in town. All around fantastic experience!

Went on the observatory hike on July 2 with Eric M. It was a fantastic time and he perfectly paced the hike with people of multiple skill and fitness levels. Very entertaining hike with the stories of the Hollywood sign, and the man behind the gryffith observatory. Would gladly go again the next time in LA

Great customer services! The bikes were on great shape! They have parking there so it was convenient , I got the bikes there and go to the Hollywood area, west Hollywood, all the way to Beverly Hills sign through sunset strip. Then we go the Grove to get some food on the farmers market and back to drop off the bikes. We did it by ourselves but you can also go with the group, probably will be safer finding back roads :) anyway great experience!!

Gil did an amazing job! Very welcoming, transparent about what to expect, and informative. I would definitely recommend. Surprisingly he did have water for us. Wear comfy clothes. He started with an ice breaker so group knew a little about each other, that was fun and neat! He gave us rules and we took off. We took breaks along the hike, but we made it to the top! Tour was about 4:30 to 7:45. Take your time, go as high as you can, and have fun. Thanks for an amazing memory! You Rock 🪨 Gil!!!

If you take only use one tour company in LA, this is the one to use. I joined a tour around Hollywood, checking in with Kris who smoothly set me up with an e-bike, helmet, and bottled water. Mickey was a fantastic guide, with lots of great info and stories. He also carried extra water for the group, which was a lifesaver. Make sure you bring water as well, you can't have too much! I've never used an e-bike before and I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. I can't wait to do it again!

Mickey was AWESOME! And what an epic tour of Los Angeles. Our 10 and 12 year old children said this was their favourite part of our holiday to LA, and I agree. Mickey was a great dude with a spot on sense of humour, and an extensive knowledge of LA’s history and sights. We felt in very safe hands - even when travelling along some very busy roads. I can’t recommend the full day LA tour with Hikes and Bikes, and our expert guide Mickey, enough!

We did the 13 mile bike ride around West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. We took many breaks to hear Hollywood stories. There were many hills. We decided to be lazy and upgrade to the e-bike. People in their 50s were able to bike the hills on regular bikes. We had no bathroom break on the 3 hour trip. I assume if someone would have requested a stop, Erik (our guide) would have made it possible. Bring your own water. It was a fun tour and bikes are top quality Giants. Free parking in their lot. Our guide was born and raised in LA and had good stories.

This was a terrific tour on a gorgeous day! Ahmed and Harris were wonderful guides. They were both very friendly and enthusiastic. I rode a standard bike and my husband rode an E-bike. The ride is virtually flat, with stops at many interesting points. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend the Hollywood Sign Hike with Dylan! We booked using our gocity passes. During our 4pm hike, one of the guys in our small group asked Dylan if we could go “beyond the normal tour” and head up behind the Hollywood sign. Dylan was gracious enough to say Sure! and we were treated to an awe-inspiring view from the top of Hollywood. Amazing!!! Complete with a beautiful Sunset and 2days short of a full moon. Highly recommend and please don’t forget to tip your guides when they go above and beyond!!!!! Also, Dylan, thank you for the dinner recommendation of Mel’s Diner! After an evening hiking with you, that grilled cheese hit the spot!

Great experience. My girlfriend and I did the LA in a day tour on E-Bikes (definitely worth it with the hills). Kris with a K was a great guide and gave a great personal spin on the town. Really enjoyed the immersion into Hollywood history. Would recommend to anyone who likes to bike and explore.

My two teenagers and I took the Hollywood Tour by Bike with Mickey and had an excellent time! The shop is so well situated—it was very convenient to take the bus over from where we’re staying and Mickey showed us tons of things we’ll use the rest of the vacation to check out, like a piece of the Berlin Wall and La Brea Tar Pits. I loved all the history we learned along the way, too! We’ll probably take a second tour or rent bikes again this week we had so much fun!

Our guides Gil and Noel provided us with water and sunscreen before and the best information during the hike. We even saw a rainbow over Los Angeles and a coyote, it was a hike to remember for a long time that I highly recommend!

We're not tour people usually, but we absolutely loved this one. If we could see every city we visit on an electric bike with an awesome guide like Erik in the lead, we'd do it every time. The experience of riding on city streets to see the sights up close was the best way to do it, especially since we didn't have to worry about a thing. Erik not only entertains with tons of interesting stories to share, he made it very easy to stay safe with excellent directions about how to navigate each section of the trip. Moms out there don't worry - I felt like my 13 year old was completely safe and hallelujah, he was actually having fun! Definitely put this on your list! Get Erik as your guide and you'll have the best time! Tip - Sundays are perfect for this trip since you'll see several local farmers markets. Traffic was light too.

Really excellent tour to the Hollywood sign. Harris was our tour guide and he brought extra water and had a ton of great information to share along the walk. He made sure everyone got all the pictures they wanted too. There are two hike options the tour which is about halfway up and the full hike to the top behind the sign and it does get really steep after the halfway point when you get closer to the top and Harris was really up front with that information and encouraged everyone to make the best choice for them considering the heat and sun and all that. Most of the group went to the top and he really was excellent at taking breaks when needed and making sure everyone was good. The directions on where to go and where to park were very clear and very easy to follow. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to hike alone or would just prefer to go with a guide

The entire bike shop crew was awesome- Chris was super friendly and helpful getting us registered, lunch set, and waivers signed! Ahmed, our tour guy was INCREDIBLE and our LA in a day was just fabulous!! Ahmed was so perfect for our adventure!! He was charming, charismatic, comedic (really- so sweet and funny!! One day he’ll be famous and we’ll see him doing standup), knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, and well- just down right enjoyable!! He’s also THE BEST photographer!! The sights that we were able to see and visit were all the best things that you hear about, see on the movies, and hope to experience when you’re in LA. Lunch was also a hit for us. If you’re up for a 38 mile ride, this is the most incredible West Hollywood/Beverly Hills to Marina Del Ray/Venice tour (and all the places in between) to experience!

Noelle was an excellent tour guide. She made sure everyone had water and snacks and encouraged hydration along the way as it was a hot and sunny morning. She kept us on schedule while giving us interesting stories and details re: the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park. She made sure to stop in the shade to allow us to cool down. Once the first overlook below the sign was reached she made sure everyone got the perfect shot below the sign. She patiently guided each group through their shots. I would definitely use them again for future tours.

Excellent tour with Gil! It was a hike, but most of it was paved, so it was easier than I thought it was going to be. Gill is witty, knowledgeable, very caring for his tour group, and very good guide! The scenery was absolutely amazing! Gill also was all about making sure that we had great photos for social media or otherwise. This is a hike you can do by yourself, but I definitely recommend signing up for this tour. You get to meet great people and it's such an enjoyable time!

The tour was terrific, and the e-bikes are definitely the way to go. We covered a ton of ground and saw many highlights. Liz the Magician was attentive, engaging and very informative. She herself was a highlight. Note - my wife's outfit didn't provide much rear end padding, but we were able to improvise and she enjoyed every mile. If you're not used to biking, wear something that will be comfortable. Overall, outstanding and Liz is a gem! We'd be glad to do it again.

Did the express Hollywood sign hike with Noelle and she was a wonderful guide! Super knowledgeable and friendly, and as a bonus, a great comedian! She was also very considerate of people who had tight schedules and made sure they got photos with the sign first. Highly recommend booking with Bikes and Hikes during your trip to California. If you’re trying to see the sign, this is a much better use of your time than going to the Griffith Observatory.

We took this hike with Liz and it was amazing. She was well familiar with the “Hollywood Sign” history, the mountain’s wildlife, and also the scenic views alone the trail. She captured great photos for the group participates and kept everyone motivated. The entire group was able to reach the top of the mountain which has a very beautiful view. I highly recommend this tour and cross your finger to get Liz as your tour guide. She’s amazing!!!

We loved the full hiking tour. Everything was highly structured, from booking to meeting to taking pictures to waving from the very top. Our tour coach Chris was amazing. He was super organized, explained and even carried water and sun screen with him. During the hike he told lots of interesting and fun stories about the city and the sign. Every now and then he stopped and pointed us to neighborhoods and highlighted with an awesome story. The three hours passed too fast. We can highly recommend taking this tour. My family did the 4.5 mile hike up to the Hollywood sign with Meriam. She was great and provided us with a great deal of knowledge. If you have a chance to pick an instructor, definitely pick her!

Noelle was amazing!!! We really loved her as our guide, she was super enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the city, not only for the cool places we could go, even some history. Having the Official Tour to the Hollywood Sign with her was super fun and easy! Chloe was terrific. Great hike made more enjoyable by her banter and insights. (Some talent agent needs to sign her up!) Hike isn’t hard despite what some people have said in their reviews. Just one short stretch where it is a bit moderate - for Godsakes a petite Asian woman in white face mask makeup and ‘bare-feet!’ made it up easily - she was pretty cool actually. But it’s the view the walk that make it a must do if you haven’t been to LA.

This entire hike was amazing! Noelle Hoffman was our tour guide and we couldn’t of asked for a better tour guide. She was informative, made everyone feel welcomed, motivating, and overall such an upbeat and fantastic tour guide. She cracked some puns along the way and reassured us the hike wasn’t too intense. It was my first time hiking and in the LA area, and Noelle recommended some great places around the city to explore! You can tell Noelle really loves her job. 10/10 recommend this LA tour!

I did this hike with my sister and we got to see the Hollywood sign with a small group which was great. The guide also showed us some great spots for taking pictures and did not hesitate to help with taking pictures. The guide also told us some nice stories about the area. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that I expected a hike, but it was a really a short walk. Also, the guide was friendly and helpful for sure, but I did not appreciate it that he asked for tips three times.

I had two great experiences with Bikes and Hikes LA! I did the Official Hollywood Sign Hike and Beverly Hills Tour by bike. On the Hollywood sign hike, our tour guide, Chris, was great, very friendly and personable and also had a lot of knowledge about the history of LA and Hollywood that he shared with us! On the Beverly Hills tour, our tour guide, Liz, was very nice and easy to talk to. She took us all around Beverly Hills, stopping to share little tidbits along the way. Both great experiences all around!

Excellent tour! Emily and Gill were awesome tour guides. They provided water and sunscreen for those in need. Due to time constraints on our own schedules, we chose the 90 min version of the tour. There were multiple stops up the gentle climb to point out facts, answer questions, and allow the hikers a little time to rest. Keep in mind that the 90 min version of the hike does NOT go to the top. The 2.5 hr version goes much higher and closer if not all the way to the top. We had a lot of fun on our shorter version and would highly recommend it. If you have the time in your schedule and can handle a longer hike, I would certainly recommend the longer hike too. Thanks again to our awesome guides Emily and Gill!! You guys rock!

We did a private tour with Harris who was awesome - super fun, knowledgeable, but kept it nice and relaxed - perfect. Being out on the bikes, you really feel like you see so much of LA and start to get an understanding for the city - much more so than if you were stuck in boring tour bus! What a fantastic tour! Mickey was our guide for this full-day tour of LA and he and the whole staff were welcoming, knowledgable, fun, and professional. We were greeted with a smile, issued helmets and bikes, and then we had a brief safety explanation before beginning the tour. I was curious what a full-day tour of LA would include and whether or not it would be too much biking, but the e-bikes are the key to the experience. We rode through Beverly Hills with little to no effort (of course you can use less assistance if you want a workout!) and saw celebrity homes, breathtaking views, and rode along quiet, tree-lined streets. Then we dropped down onto Santa Monica boulevard where we rode to lunch along Venice beach. Then it was off to the Venice canals before riding back through various LA neighborhoods to create a full loop. All of the neighborhoods that we saw were different and our guide did a great job of providing background and history about each of them, as well as telling us what we could check out on our own after the tour. This full day tour gave us a great overview of the city and I highly recommend it for anyone in LA for the first time or those wanting to see all of the city in just a day!

This was a great tour to see the famous Hollywood Sign. Our tour guide Dylan was very informative and did a great job explaining things as we walked up to the sign. He was attentive to our needs such as water, stopping for breaks from the heat and making sure that everyone was okay. He is also awesome at taking great pictures for our memories. I LOVED this tour. Erik, top notch person and tour guide. I press you to find anyone as nice and genuine as Erik or any member of the staff. You can tell they all love to ride, but more importantly, they love the customer experience first and foremost. To say they bent over backwards is an understatement. Very cool tour - did the West Hollywood/celebrity tour. Saw a couple famous peoples houses - Erik had a ton of stories to share as we rode. Get the E Bike. Spend the extra money - there are hills! It’s called Beverley Hills for a reason! 100% will be doing another tour.

Hike the Hollywood Sign The view at the top the Mt Lee is terrific. Gil, our tour guide, has been very supportive with everyone of us, encouraging relations and suggesting awesome photo spots. 5 stars for my first hike in LA. Myriam took great care of our group and ensured everyone was comfortable along the way offering water bottles, sunscreen and some great information on Griffith Park. We did the 90 minute Hollywood sign hike and it was great! We went on a Saturday morning in August 2022. Our guide's name was Gil, he was great and shared lots of interesting facts and was very entertaining. We drove to the meeting spot and parked along one of the streets and it was fairly easy to find close parking. The hike itself was quite easy and my teens did not complain at all :) So they take you up to a certain point and then you have two options, continue further or turn back on your own. We saw what we wanted to see so we went back and they give you a landmark so as not to get lost, it's pretty straight forward. I would recommend the tour rather than going on your own if you aren't familiar with the area because he did mention that if you follow google maps it won't lead you to the sign (apparently homeowners in the area managed to change the official address/location on google maps). Overall I definitely recommend!

Timing is everything when traveling and early hike and no breakfast is hard I’m from Colorado and trying to decide to eat or drive safely through LA traffic can create an issue… just know that these issues can be factual so stick to the timeframe you’ve given us. We had a small group for our hiking adventure including a small child. Chris was ready when we arrived, had extra water, snacks, sunscreen and electrolytes if there was a need. He was personable ,shared some history of the area, offered to take photos and was mindful of his group as we hiked 3.5 miles 90% up to the top of Mount Hollywood. It was beautiful and challenging at times! I thing the description of the hike should clarify a little on the level of difficulty to moderate.

I got the hurricane version of the Electric bike tour of LA. Mickey, our tour guide, was amazing! Really went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and had a tier 2 fun time - (tier 2 - a little tricky during the experience but so glad I did it). It was only misting rain at 10am and the forecast was for continued mist. But an hour into our bike tour, the rain was pouring and the wind was howling. Mickey had us off our bikes and gave a great tour of Greystone Mansion. We carefully road in the rain through Beverly Hills with Mickey sharing info about stars homes and the choice of trees for each street in B.H. Mickey picked a place for lunch that was indoors so we could get out of the rain and, by consensus, we decided to ride back to the shop after lunch; all the while Mickey was telling us about the reasons why they named the streets the way they did. I would highly recommend!

Five stars for Mickey! I was a little nervous about riding a bike in LA traffic, but Mickey makes you feel very safe. Gives interesting information about area. And has a nice singing voice. We signed up for non-electric bikes, but changed to electric. The first part of the tour the hills are pretty steep, so was very pleased the “check in guy” suggested electric bikes. Confirmation (e-mails) note: **Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time of your bike tour (noted above). WE ARE NOT ABLE TO WAIT FOR LATECOMERS AS THERE ARE OTHER GUESTS JOINING THE EXPERIENCE AS WELL. We had “late-comers” so we didn’t get to go through Rodeo Drive due to time constraints. Maybe make the “Latecomer verbage” more pronounced on your website. Thanks again Mickey!

6 Hip Tips to Book the Hollywood Hike Tour You can create memorable moments, scenic photographs, and smiles if you book this hike. As an avid hiker that typically uses intuition or a compass, it was refreshing to have a guide. The main reason is that hiking restrictions are constantly changing with access to the sign. When you book a tour, you learn more and get more for the price. Essentially, priceless. We went on a Tuesday, slightly overcast and max temp. was 73°. There was a group of 16. Athleticism ranged from avid hikers to couch potatoes. Even those that never walked a block, were able to make it to the iconic sign. No bathrooms. Not even at local gas stations. You'll have to hold it or release it in nature. I would recommend this trip for ages 9+. Perhaps these tips may convince you to book it! Sarah, the guide, is vivacious, high energy, humorous, and passionate with history. Tipping is good karma. My 11 year-old was so impressed with Sarah's presentation that she commented, "Sarah is very personable. That's a nice quality in a woman." Go figure. Best time to go is overcast day. Photos are still beautiful. If it's sunny, it will be hot and uncomfortable and for some unbearable. Views, vistas, photo ops, scenic, angles, IG friendly and picturesque moments. If you live in San Diego or Santa Barbara this would be a freakin' cool day trip adventure. Totally recommended for bachelor/bachelorette activity (take tequila for a toast at the top). Memorable for couples, families, mature couples or date one or date 100. Booking, email communication and reminders was professional and timely. Let me know how these tips worked for you.

The positive: Tour guide was great, very friendly and knowledgeable about history of the area, good length between stops, varied places to see. The bikes were amazing, this was my family’s first time on electric bikes and they were super fun, very easy to use, made the hills a nonissue. The negative: Tour did not start on time because a couple people were late, then went even later due to what I would consider a little bit too much exposition on the Hollywood Sign. We were expecting a 1pm end to the tour and at 12:45 we had not even entered the Hollywood Walk of Fame part, so at that point the estimated end time from the guide was 2pm. Not entirely the fault of Bikes and Hikes given some clients were late, but we had a flight to catch and planned based on the posted length of the tour, so ended up with a mad electric bike dash through Hollywood on our own to get back in time to turn in the bikes and get to the airport through the famous LA traffic to make our flight, which we did with no issues. We were not clear about our deadline so maybe partly our fault too. Bottom Line: The lateness was a little stressful but we loved the tour and otherwise it was a great experience. Highly recommended for families, just don’t plan anything for right afterwards and be OK with it running a little long. YMMV, could be dependent on the guide, ours was Eric and he was awesome!

This review describe my first time visit impression. More than your average neighborhood bike shop. They do bike tours, advocate for bikers, small cafe although I haven't tried their cafe because there wasn't any indication that the cafe existed. They sell new and used bikes at good prices that served as their tour bikes. Their electric bikes are high quality LIV (Giant) brand and some other I forgot. My experience buying a used e-bike from them is that they are honest people who won't try to upsell you and give you advice on how to save. I will see how they perform as I take my bike to maintenance next time.

I personally would not recommend this tour. There was one tour guide for 20 people and we had to stop every few steps to wait for the group. It’s easier to just do the hike alone unless you want to learn about the history everything. We signed up for the longer hike and just left with the group who signed up for the shorter hike.

My family of 5 did this tour with Noelle on August 27th, at 9 AM, as part of Go City package. Noelle was amazing, funny, helpful, taking breaks and providing great info on the history of the sign. She also offered water for those that didn't bring it and offered her own sun scream for those that underestimated the sun of Los Angeles. We got amazing pictures there and Noelle also offered to take them, in some "instagramable poses". I would recommend this tour to everyone, including those with small kids. We got SO close to the sign.

It was a clutch decision by our organizer to hire Erick Martinez from Bikes and Hikes LA Tours to guide us up Mt. Baldy to the summit and back. It was invaluable to have him as our guide. He not only helped us physically but also kept us from veering off in the wrong direction and kept our morale high. If our snacks had run out, he had water and extra snacks. If you are not an avid hiker, hire a professional guide to lead your group. Invest in your safety and experience.

It's not everyday that I actively decide to hike 5.5 miles on an incline as intense as the Hollywood Hills in Griffith Park, but I am so happy that I took part in the sunset hike with Bikes and Hikes LA! What a stunning way to explore Griffith Park and see the beautiful city of LA in ways I couldn't possibly have imagined. Our guide, Elizabeth, was incredible! Absolutely elevated the whole experience with her amazing energy and never-ending knowledge of the surrounding areas. As well as an over abundance of quirky/fun stories throughout the entire hike. As beat as I was by the end of the hike, I wish it could have lasted longer because I'm sure Elizabeth had many more stories to tell - would have loved to find out all about the many locations 500 Days of Summer was shot at (her specialty). Overall, such a great experience and friendly/supportive staff. Look forward to returning to LA and trying the bike tour! Also! Don't be afraid to go alone! There were quite a few single hikers who very quickly made friends with other hikers in our group and not to mention, Elizabeth was very kind to help everyone get that perfect shot for the Gram.

So much fun!!! I have done a number of bike tours in various cities around the world and this was the most entertaining! The guides were fantastic. Chatty, engaging, friendly! What more could you ask?? The tour itself was awesome, we saw so much of LA and learnt so much random trivia along the way. There are definitely some hills (Beverly Hills isn't just a pretty name!) and you cover a lot of ground so be prepared for a sore butt if you are like me and don't ride in your day to day life. So worth it though! The team provide water and snacks and lunch was available for purchase at Venice Beach. Perhaps most importantly, an ice cold beer was also provided back at the depot at the end of the tour. What more can I say? Do this tour!! You wont regret it!

The Griffith Observatory Hike was very challenging, but very rewarding! While the description of the hike indicates it is a 3.5 mile hike, it seemed like it was longer. This hike will test the avid hiker, but a beginner or novice hiker can complete the hike just as well. However, BE PREPARED! Bring plenty of water, dress appropriately, wear a hat, and make sure you have comfortable sneakers or hiking boots. The most important thing though is to have an excellent tour guide and we had one with Liz from Bikes and Hikes LA! She was very knowledgeable about the points of interest along the hike, gave a ton of encouragement to the weaker hikers in our group, and brought along all the essentials that any of the hikers needed so that we could all complete the hike happily and safely! She was a wealth of general and specific knowledge about LA and Mount Hollywood in particular and we learned so many unique tidbits of information, that we came away from the hike feeling like we had lived n LA for years! My wife, two children, nd myself thoroughly enjoyed the hike and we highly recommend Bikes and Hikes LA for this type of excursion! It was reasonably priced and gave us a great hiking experience! After spending nearly 8 hours traveling to LA, the last thing I expected my partner and I to enjoy was a 3+ hours hike up a mountain, but it turned out to be the perfect break between the crush and rush of airport travel and the conference that brought us to LA. It's a credit to the majesty of Griffith Park that the hours felt like they went by *too* fast and we finished the hike wishing we had more time to explore the trails. Griffith Park's beauty -- the vistas, birdwatching opportunities, and desert flora -- was a wonderful way to begin our time in LA. Making the experience even better was our guide, George, whose positivity kept our group's energy and spirits up. Radiating good vibes and cheer while espousing his love for LA and its history, George made an already memorable experience even better. Our entire party was out-of-towners, and between trivia about the park and LA, he also provided suggestions for eateries, bars, and entertainment near our conference. 10/10 - Go hike up a mountain with George! You won't regret it.

Stopped by Melrose ave, LA farmers market, paramount studios, la brea tar pits, walk of fame… amongst other places. Definitely recommend this tour. Harris is very knowledgeable about the area and about LA history in general. Was great talking to him and found it to be very educational and a great outdoors activity

Such an amazing experience! Erik was the best tour guide. He made the whole experience exceptional. He has so much knowledge and fun facts which made the tour so memorable. He was patient and ensured that all the riders were comfortable. The other associates were delightful too. I would recommend everyone visiting LA (and locals) take the tour. On a side note: I would suggest to anyone who hasn't ridden a bike in a while or may not be the most physically active, pay the few extra dollars for the ebike option. It doesn't do all the work for you as you would still need to pedal but the ebike will help keep your momentum going as it gives you a boost every now and then so you can keep up with the group. It made all the difference for me.

My tour ended up being private due to cancelations and I enjoyed every bit of it. Bike through Beverly Hills, saw celebrity houses, went window shopping on Rodeo Dr, took pics with a sexy Santa and at the pink wall! The guys at the shop are all super friendly too. Today I took the LA in a Day bike tour with Eric, and he was the BEST tour guide I’ve ever had(and that’s after I’ve traveled to 14 countries & 28 states). My family and I recently traveled to West Hollywood and did a bike tour around Beverly Hills, central Hollywood, and other city parts. The tour was gorgeous and scenic specially when biking up the Beverly Hills and seeing the beautiful architecture. We had a great tour guide, Sara.
