First time trip as a pilgrim to the Holy Land. As a Pastor leading a group, I was thoroughly impressed with our guide, Charlie. Charlie was fun, deeply rooted in biblical knowledge and cultural history. He was also a good shepherd to our large group of 44. He scheduled our visits to holy sites to perfection. Due to his organizational skills, we were able to see many sites and without the large crowds. Our driver, Mike expertly drove us to more than 6 cities and supplied us with cold water for our journey. Be sure to ask for Charlie and Mike, my new best friends in Israel. Shalom until we meet again!

We got to to see SO much in our seven days, and I felt like we didn't miss out on anything. My first, but hopefully not last, trip to the Holy Land! On the front end, our coordinator Adrian was easy to work with when needing to change our departure city. Once in Israel, our guide, Charlie, and driver, Mike, were both amazing to work with. They took our large group of 50 through the many sites with efficiency and yet I never felt rushed. I was very impressed with the wealth of information that Charlie shared and the joy with which he shared it. I hope to take a group from my church soon and would definitely want to have Charlie and Mike guiding us again!

Traveling to the Holy Land with Travel with Friends was the trip of a lifetime! Our tour guide Adam honestly made the trip. I can’t imagine traveling to Israel without a local guide to not only take us all the places that we need to see, but also to explain all the history of the holy sites in a way that is both accurate and reverent! My trip to Israel and Egypt was truly a trip of a lifetime. This was my 4th trip to Israel and I really felt like I was traveling with friends. They place you in beautiful hotels and the food is incredible. Egypt was exciting seeing the pyramids was a bucket list check off. I always felt safe everywhere we went. The days in the Holy Land were simply AMAZING! Everywhere you turned there were sites that you had read about in the Bible. Our guide, Charlie, was awesome. Besides being an incredible wealth of knowledge (especially Biblically), his engaging personality, patience and humor were so appreciated by everyone. The Pyramids, Sphinx and the Egypt Museum were as advertised - incredible! Unfortunately, the trip getting there became a long 2 day bus trip with a stop at the St. Catherine Monastery and Mount Sinai. We were very road weary when we arrived in Cairo. BTW, Cairo is IMHO a complete disaster (no fault of Friends). We saw just a few stop lights in a city of 22M people and it was proven right before our eyes that you can fit 10 cars into a 3 lane highway! Despite the long road trip through the desert to get to Cairo, the trip was as memorable as we had hoped for. There are so many other sites to see in Israel that I am tempted to say that we may return one day!

My family got to travel to the Holy Lands with Travel with Friends! It was a UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE! Everything from the pickup at the airport, hotels, wonderful experiences on all the tours to the return at the airport went without any problems! I would so recommend Charlie has your guide and Mike as your bus driver! We had a wonderful time and we hope to go back! Truly, the Bible came to life! We walked were our Lord walked and we worshiped were he was!

My son and I had a great 2 week experience in the Holy Lands of Israel and Jordan. Our guides - Charlie, Ibrahim, and Amir - were exceptionally knowledgeable, personable, and fun!! They shared detailed information and evidence about the significance of each sit, as well as historical information. They even shared sites not listed in our travel arrangements that provided us with further glimpses of where Jesus and his disciples traveled (ie Valley of the Doves). Hotels were first rate and comfortable (but you really don’t spend much time in your room!). Meals provided by the hotels were superb! Mostly local dishes, but enough familiar food to keep everyone well-fed and fill! I want to especially point out the meals at Caesar’s in Tiberius and the new 5-star Petra Moon Luxury Hotel in Jordan. Wow!! (Don’t worry, you will walk enough to work off all of this amazing food!). The reason for the 4 stars was the travel arrangements made by Travel With Friends. We didn’t receive our travel itinerary, airline tickets, or packet until just 2 weeks before our departure date! We were on a different airline from the rest of our group of 30, we arrived and departed 5 hours different from our group, and we had no seat assignments for our flights. We were told we could take care of the seating at the airport gate on departure date. (I paid extra so we could sit together for the 14 hour flight to Tel Aviv. The return flight I was able to select adjacent seats because 3 weeks in advance there were still those seats available. If TWF would have purchased our airline tickets earlier this would not have been an issue.). I do realize situations come up where in a large group specific travel accommodation requests may not happen, but a combination of all of these situations led to a lot of unnecessary stress before a trip that took almost a year to plan. And when I contacted TWF 2 weeks before our trip to ask what our flight arrangements were, there was no reason suggested as to why this happened. We signed up for the trip early, paid TWF well before the payment deadlines, and were in communication with our rep Mia about all of this. I would highly recommend you make your own flight arrangements as there was no reason for our flights being booked only 2 weeks before a trip that was almost a year in the planning.

This trip was a life changer for sure. The Bible will never be the same and I’m grateful for my church and our Pastor JR for planning the Holy Land Tour. If you ever want to go to Israel I highly recommend Travel with Friends. I plan a lot of trips for our family and it was so nice to know that I could go and know everyday I was taken care of. Money Mike our bus driver drove us safely around the cities and traffic. Adam our tour guide was so informative about all the sites. He let us try yummy local food and a wide variety of stores to shop. Mike and Adam are a funny team and made the trip so much fun.

Absolutely Top Notch! I am sure that if they could help with jet lag, they would have done it. Adam (Guide) and Neil (Driver) were an awesome pair. An Immensely informative trip. Every question was answered. Adam's Sense of humor was a very nice touch. We traveled with a Church group from out of state and everyone had a great time meeting new friends. Be prepared for a fair bit of walking. According to Fitbit the distances were five miles with many days with a maximum of 7. Don't let the mile count concern you, there are plenty of breaks while you drive between locations.

Our group booked a trip with Friends Tours before the Covid pandemic began in 2019. They worked with our group and rescheduled twice until we finally got approval from Israel to travel to their country in 2021. The staff was very helpful every step of the way from assisting with airline and hotel reservations to picking us up at the airport and driving our group throughout Israel safely. Our guide Adam was outstanding in his depth of knowledge of the Biblical history and description of the sites we visited. I highly recommend this tour company to anyone considering a tour to Israel. It was a trip of a lifetime!

This was an awesome 10 day trip and the Tour guide Charlie was the most knowledgeable of the Bible and excellent in Commuinications Skills, Time Management and Coordination of the sites we visited. I just returned from the Holy Land tour and it was amazing! Travel with Friends did an excellent job giving us the best experience possible. Each day was led by our Tour Guide, Adam. His knowledge and expertise were invaluable. He took care of the details and reservations each day so that we could fully enjoy each site and experience it to the fullest. His insights and knowledge of Israel’s history, culture and each site added a rich depth to our visit. Our bus driver, Neil, did an excellent job of getting us where we needed to go each day! We (44 of us) are in the airport returning from an incredible 10-day tour of Israel. This Travel With Friends tour was all-inclusive (airfare/hotel/meals/transportation/sites included) and very reasonably priced. The accommodations at 3 different locations around Israel were fantastic, breakfast and dinner were always included, and we visited multiple sites each day. But by far the highlight of our trip was our tour guide Charlie. He expertly choreographed our visits to make sure we didn’t wait in long lines, but more importantly he had an incredible depth of knowledge of the history and significance of each site and its relationship to the Bible. He used portable headsets at each site so everyone could hear, and was so fun and friendly and organized that I can’t imagine a better guide.

The scheduling, logistics, and traveling from site to site was handled incredibly well. It allowed us to focus on the trip, and not the travel details, and made it a wonderful experience. Our guide, Charlie, was phenomenal. His depth of knowledge relating the the Bible and to the numerous sites we visited made the experience highly educational in addition to being spiritual. He brought a degree of academic credibility to his guiding which I greatly appreciated, and which actually enhanced the trip significantly. He also worked extremely hard arranging and modifying our schedule to maximize our time at each site actually visiting and touring, as opposed to merely standing in lines. Our driver Mike was also top notch, handling the large bus like it was a minivan, negotiating the tightest of spots with ease. The experience exceeded my expectations!

We traveled to Israel as part of a 44 pilgrim group. Friends Travel with Friends travel agency support was wonderful. Our guide, Charley, and our driver, Mike were excellent. In 10 days we saw so many religious and historical sites that the trip far exceeded our expectations. Charley’s English was easy to understand and his stories and explanations made each site come alive. A few of my “Favorite times” were sailing on the Sea of Gallilee and affirmation baptism in the Jordan River with Pastor Daryl Bush. We would like to thank Pastor Kelly Gabriell and Marie for their work making the trip possible. We are humbly grateful to have walked in many places where Jesus walked. We recommend this trip and if you go please ask for Charley for your guide if possible. He makes it come alive.

Overall, the trip was great after a miserable initial flying experience. We did not learn of our travel arrangements until a few days before we left so we could not adjust them. We had to fly from Columbia SC to Houston TX back to New York and then to Tel Aviv. 12 hours of travel before we even got on the plane to Israel. I give 0 stars for booking this flight. After that everything was great. The hotels, food, tours were wonderful. Our tour guide Adam was amazing and Mike the bus driver was entertaining. There was very little rest time due to the jam packed schedule but that was fine. I can rest at home.

This trip was the first time any of our group had been to the Holy Lands and Adrian and Travel With Friends made the planning of our trip so easy. Upon landing in Israel we were met at the airport with someone that helped us navigate the customs and immigration process and then we were handed over to our tour guide CJ who would be the tour guide for the entire trip. CJ was a wonderful tour guide who was very knowledgeable and made our experience that more special. If you are wanting to plan a trip make sure you ask for CJ as your guide. You won’t be disappointed. We were also lucky enough to meet Kelsie and Kara from the home office and the owner took time out of his day to meet us in Jerusalem and introduce himself. Those special touches just added to our trip. I would recommend this company over and over again and can’t wait to plan another trip with them in the future!
