I rode the the TransEuropa with TDA in the fall of 2021. Covid was complicating almost all travel but TDA smoothed the way and made the trip happen at a time when other companies were cancelling. They have a 'can do' attitude and some very well trained and motivated staff that make sure their riders are safe and well cared for. I can honestly say that riding with TDA was the most deluxe bicycling touring experience that I have experienced.

I have been on several long tours in exotic countries where I could not tour on my own. Excellent support, It sets me up to go cycling through fascinating countries and usually the other riders are experienced travelers and enjoyable company. I like the long rides and I like the independence on the road; we are not expected to ride in a group; I can ride with who I want at whatever speed I want. I don't worry about food or accommodation; it will be provided as well as circumstances allow.

This is so professionally managed, yet you ride a tour as if you are on your own with just that extra support (logistics and emergency backup) you need. I cycled their flagship Tour D'Afrique in 2019 and it was an incredible experience all around. They didn't pamper us but they fully gave us the support we needed to accomplish amazing things. They know the ins and outs of the areas we went through - no small feat considering all the rural areas we went to in the middle of nowhere. They are just out there doing tours that nobody else is doing. With TDA, you really get to explore off the beaten path and have experiences all those people in the tour busses could never imagine. Highly recommended!

I'd say they provide once in a lifetime experiences, but then I did another tour... in the same year! The routes are amazing, never missing the beautiful city sights and bustle, nor an opportunity to go off the beaten path and experience unique and awe-inspiring scenes of nature. The touring staff are phenomenal, some I'd even say legendary in their own right, truly going above and beyond. The places I've seen and people I've met, fellow cyclists, staff, and even people I've met along the way have remained good friends with whom I have precious memories. And man have I got great stories for grand kids someday! Just do it ;)

Through TDA my wife and cycled through 46 countries over 52 months. TDA took us to places and on routes we would not have found on our own. The TDA staff were superb. My age for these rides was 62 to 67, and I am not a super-athlete. If you have the opportunity to do a TDA ride, take it.

The TDA staff were amazing and supportive and bent over backwards to help me work out how I was going to ride across the entire African continent (EFI baby!). Wow what a tour of epic proportions. Experienced beautiful countries and peoples on the North American Epic expedition. TDA support while on the tour exceeded my expectations. The tour was challenging with incredible climbs, and intense days of beauty, and gradure. Every day was an experience to remember. Loved experiencing the changes in terrain and climates along the journey from Canada to Panam. From 24 hour days of light in Canada to hot days of desert riding in Baja culminating with exhilerating climbs and descents in Central America. Didn't have to worry about anything but riding. "NICE"

About three years ago, I googled Cairo to Capetown town by bicycle. I expected to come up with blogs about tough guys who ate snakes for breakfast and pushed their bikes through raging sandstorms. Instead I came upon TDA and the Tour d’ Afrique. After much back and forth emailing, I signed on. Everything promised was delivered. I am just an average recreational cyclist and I was supported beyond my wildest expectations. TDA is a top notch company with first rate people….sign on and you will have the adventure of a lifetime

They looked after us every step of the way and we got to do the endless kms And see the heart and soul of Africa and learn heaps about ourselves along the way. Above and beyond crew. We had someone fall off their bike with a serious concussion. They were there with him from the arrival of the ambulance to his hospital care, and went back and forth to the hospital to make sure he was being taken care of. All in a country which spoke a different language. Top notch.
