This place is only 15min away from Asheville regional airport, there are 2 Ingle’s grocery stores with gas stations and Starbucks inside, ACE hardware store, Walmart and everything else you need for your stay. The house was very clean with new carpets, comforters and pillows, bathrooms are stocked with eco friendly soaps and shower gels. Kitchen is equipped with Keurig coffee machine with a good choice of K cups and ground coffees. Appliances are new, Internet is fast, and cable tv offers plenty of channels. Biltmore estate is 40min away, Asheville-35 with plenty of good restaurants and places worth visiting. Highly recommended place to stay!

We had an amazing week, it felt like we were in the Clouds! The house was perfect and the views were amazing. The only suggestion would be for the main master suite to have a king size bed. We will definitely return!

Great rental property enjoyed every moment of it excellent property manager to make sure that all necessities and information is provided. Anything you may need they are promptly on it not any thing is lacking at the house whatsoever. Will be back again for sure highly recommend and honestly the best vacation rental which have been many that I’ve ever stayed at and a lot of it has to do with the property management and they’re inviting hospitality. Super clean very beautiful house and an amazing view with multiple options for activities the extended weekend we stayed it rained every day but was still very enjoyable and never ran out of fun ideas to enjoy on the property.

This mountain retreat was beyond our wildest dreams and just what we needed to reconnect with our children after they had been at camp. The view of the mountains from the fire pit and outdoor seating area was outstanding! The home has all necessities and even more! It is comfortable, the beds are so cozy, and with 1 and 1/2 baths with one on the second floor, everyone is taken care of! We will definitely return and are SO grateful we found this amazing home!!! We stayed at the Avondale Ridge property up in the mountains! And wow! Amazing property! So beautiful and in a great location too. Pete and Theresa were great at communicating and responsive to any thing we needed. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine! They were so helpful even when our wedding got postponed due to Covid. Highly recommend any of these properties as we will be checking out others as well.

Incredible! My family and I spent 5 nights here and absolutely loved it! Definitely the nicest vacation rental we’ve stayed in. The house was gorgeous, my kids loved the oversized hot tub and ping-pong table. I would recommend this house to anyone. The road to the house is in good shape but pretty steep, if there’s any snow or ice you may need a 4wd to access property.

This home exceeded our expectations! Beautifully appointed with exceptional view of surrounding mountains. House was very clean and many if not all furnishings appeared new. Although this trip included just the 2 of us and our dog we decided we’d love to come back and rent again with some friends and family. We wanted to be close to Lake Jocassee and surrounding areas and this was perfect for our trip.

Pete Key properties makes booking easy. Check in and check out are seamless with timely texts and clear instructions. The house we rented was comfortable and had everything we needed. The updated bathrooms were nice and there was adequate lighting throughout. Well stocked kitchen and even laundry facilities.

This cabin is the perfect mountain retreat. It's in a neighborhood so I didn't feel cut off, just perfectly secluded. It's 30 minutes to the airport which I didn't realize because as the crow flies, (or on the map) it appeared to be 10 minutes. I could easily have checked the time, but it was a lovely drive to the airport past meadows and farms and wildflowers so it worked out fine. I was there two nights alone and felt safe although I did keep the bedroom windows closed - for bears. The kitchen is nice and has most things you'd want for a vacation retreat. The outdoor firepit area is actually bigger than it looks in the photos and was a grand gathering place. Too hot for a fire, but it sure looked like fun. Everything was super clean and nicely set up. Also, Brevard was so close and we went to a wonderful breakfast in the "hipster" area called "Morning Social." Big with bikers.(not motorcycles). Have the grits! The best I've ever had.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our villa was gorgeous, clean, open and uncluttered, and offered everything you can think you might need (except food and drinks of course.. but included coffee). We love the location has a huge deck with outdoor fireplace on the deck as well as indoor fireplace, both are wood burning. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. It feels classy but homey at the same time and the sun room/dining room is my favorite place in the world. If you tend to be hot natured, in winter the bedrooms tend to be much hotter than the rest of the house. We had to open the bedroom door with the ceiling fan on to bring in the cooler air from the rest of the house. We could tell bear had been on the deck but never saw them. My only recommendation was that they add a lot of light to the deck so it is usable at night after dark so you can see if a family of bear or other wildlife are nearing you for a visit or add latching gates at each end of the deck at the steps so they can't easily just walk up on you without a few seconds notice to get inside. Overall the property was AMAZING! We will go back for sure. They offered everything you and your family would need to stay, cook and clean after yourselves including washer and dryer and dishwasher as well as some family games. It was very clean and neat with great cell service, Wi-Fi and cable in the living room. I believe everyone that stays here will fall in love with it.

A beautifully appointed cabin (“Little Mountain”, Pisgah Forest NC), with plenty of comfort and space. It has a rustic, yet calming atmosphere, including a lovely mountain view. We enjoyed our small family togetherness, and we hope to book this property again without looking anywhere else in the region.

This is a great place to stay (the 26 E Chestnut Street property) if you are visiting Asheville. Very easy to walk to downtown but also a very relaxing and cozy place to just be after you have had a full day! Hope to stay here again on future visits!!

The description of the house and property were accurate. We enjoyed the location which was close to both Pisgah and Dupont forests for daily hikes. Although the road outside of the house is busy, the property itself is large and inviting. It was great for our dogs to romp in. Nearby Brevard is a great little town with some nice Brew pubs and restaurants.

Due to rare circumstances, not in their control, at the last moment they changed our reservation to a comparable home ! We were totally happy with our exchange as it worked so well for the nine of us that were coming from different areas to meet up! Stayed at the Blake House Inn in the Rose Room. It was just as described. The antique decor was beautiful. The bed and sheets were so comfortable! Loved the large tub and gas fireplace. Perfect place to stay for a romantic get away. The door had a code for you to check yourself in. The community patio had tables, fire pits and string lights. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I recently visited Brevard N.C. and stayed at 63 Montview Circle. It is a spacious and welcoming 3 bedroom, 2 bath home that was exactly what we needed. Since we were doing all of our own cooking the spacious kitchen and dining room were perfect, especially when our son and his family came to dinner. It is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, near a large grocery store and minutes from downtown Brevard. We would definitely choose to rent here again.

We booked a 7-night stay at "Vaquero", a Pete Key property, in September of 2020 and were quite pleased overall with the experience. Pre-booking communication and information flow was fast and thorough so we arrived fully informed of particulars like access codes, keys, check in/check out times, etc. It's natural for a couple minor questions concerning a booking like this to arise during a week-long stay at ANY property so we were pleased at how accessible and responsive Pete was to acknowledging and addressing our questions. Initially we found this perfect vacation home rental through VRBO but, following this experience, will seek to book directly with Pete Key Properties expecting the same favorable experience but without siginificant VRBO booking/processing fees.

Had a great stay at a little A frame in the mountains! The views were outstanding and the house was everything we needed. Directions to the house were spot on through winding roads and forests of Rhodedendrons. Our family of 3 were very comfortable! The kitchen is tiny but incredibly well stocked with every pot, pan, or utensil you could possibly need. Definitely would recommend!

We had a fantastic experience during our long weekend stay at this beautiful home! The hosts were very responsive and reached out to us to make sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and there is a charcoal grill for use as well, which was great for us as we cooked all of our meals. Also, it was private, with a beautiful view of the mountain, and the house was immaculately clean. We would absolutely recommend and plan to return in the future!

Very nice stay. We selected because of it's proximity to the College, and we were not disappointed. Close to everything but tucked away at the same time. Lots of space for all of us to work and relax. Loved the large kitchen, and REALLY loved the heating vent in the bathroom for the chilly morning! Will likely book again.

We loved this property. It was very clean and cared for. Beautiful view of the mountains, pond and fields. Plenty of room to play corn hole and we brought can jam. My son and family live 10 mins away. We had them over for a Barbecue and they had us at their place. Our friends had a dog and he loves his time running around the outdoors. The area is full of hiking and beautiful waterfalls. We will return and definitely rent again. Thanks for the wonderful experience ❤️

The house was extremely clean and comfortable and convenient to many hiking trails, waterfalls, etc. Pete Key Properties is first class! Very professional and hospitable. Thank you, me and my family enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. It had all the amenities that a home should have for enjoyment. The view from your home was beautiful. It gave me decorative ideas for my home and my fireplace. We love your master bedroom bathroom and the bidet. What was most enjoyable for me is your outdoor fire pit. Just one little suggestion more lighting outside the back part of your house. Even with that you could see the stars in the Darkness it looks as if the stars are right there at your reach. I can't say anything bad nothing but praise concerning this house. Again thank you so much. I highly recommend renting this property.

This house has a gorgeous view. It’s very clean and comfortable. Only one bathroom makes it a little difficult. A little dated, but really charming. Loved the real indoor and outdoor fireplace. Driveway light wasn’t working, so it’s very dark pulling in. Owner aware but couldn’t get it fixed during our visit. Overall a great stay.

It was a lovely space. Quiet and Relaxing area that only took us minutes to drive to the Biltmore Estate.

Pisgah Retreat home was a family treat. As a larger family, hotels just don’t offer suitable accommodations. We are also a very tidy family and our standards for cleanliness are very high. It is also important that CDC guidelines are followed by housekeeping in order to keep our young children healthy. VRBO’s have been our most suitable options over the past few years. This mini vacation beat all others in so far as the accommodations are concerned. I can’t count the number of times my husband remarked on the ease in which Pete Key Properties was able to provide to our family. We had everything that we needed, the home was cleaned to our standards, the decor was minimalistic and in all the right places, instructions were provided (and easy to understand) for the in home surround sound, board games and a gaming system were a hit with our 4 boy crew, colorful plastic children’s plates and cups, wine glasses, and coffee pods were provided. Having owned several vacation homes, we are very familiar with property management agencies. Pete Key Properties does not strike me as being typical as they pay close attention to the details that matter. As a guest in their home, I was pleasantly surprised to receive weekend texts checking in to ensure we were pleased with the accommodations.

Booked Pastoral Vistas from Pete Key Properties in Asheville, NC. The owner of the company met us at the property to give us a quick tour and answer any questions we had. Terese the reservationist was super helpful getting everything booked. The property was 3 bedrooms 2 bath and the property was super clean and organized well. We had plenty of room and the views of the mountains were great. Loved having the fire pit out back to enjoy sitting under the stars at night while staying toasty warm. There is a hot tub being put in soon and were cannot wait to come back for another stay. The property was a great value compared to what is would have costed for a few hotel rooms, this was a great option 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, NC. Pete Key properties stayed in touch with us throughout the stay just checking in with a text here and there to see if they could be of any further service. An outstanding experience!! The house was everything we needed and had all the amenities ready for our stay. Check in and out was a breeze and there were clear instructions posted on the refrigerator as well through text. We had a great week at Little Mountain Lodge! The cabin was modern, well appointed, and very clean. The view from the screened in porch was amazing! Lots of parking, a very nice propane grill, and good WiFi are just some of the features. The kitchen had just about everything you could possibly need to cook for a large group. A special call out for Terese, who answers all text after hours and on weekends, willing to do anything to make your stay better. All of our family is viewing to rent this place soon!

The pictures were accurate regarding the house. There was Sonos throughout the house which was quite nice. Views are amazing and the decks were great. This comfortably slept seven adult males without difficulty. Kitchen was well equipped and large dining room table comfortably seated all of us. Wi-Fi was strong. Several small things to note if you rent the property are there is limited cell phone service but again the Wi-Fi was able to make up for this. There are very limited Ubers but a Local service took us into town the day we went brewery hopping. You could get an Uber back from Asheville. The only negative was a lack of grill but not enough to detract from the five stars.

We enjoyed our stay in the mountains. The deck, view , and fireplace were perfect. The master bed was super clean and comfy. The housecleaning could be better. We had to rewash a few things coming out of the cabinets, and the baseboards had a thick layer of dust. Also, the house became buggier each day, but hey….when you are in the mountains, I think it’s an up hill battle. Overall, we created many happy memories here! And we’d rent this home again.

Sunset Cottage has gorgeous views and is in an excellent location. Close to downtown Asheville and yet a very secluded and private location. I read some of the previous reviews stating that the house was not clean and full of dog hair. But we did not find that to be the case. It was quite the opposite- very clean. TV is great and the kitchen is wonderful with plenty of utensils and cook ware. Be mindful of bears- we had bear sightings 4 x during our stay. The only con is that the bathroom can be a bit buggy and the toilet runs slow. All in all it was perfect for us- just what the doctor ordered.

A beautiful home with everything you’d need for a perfect vacation. We stayed for three nights in July and the cabin had everything our families needed for all meals and entertaining kids. Stayed at the house with my husband, our dog, and my parents and had a wonderful experience. The house itself is adorable. It's well maintained and was incredibly clean upon our arrival. It is within walking distance of the historic town of Brevard, which was so fun and allowed us walk to lunch and dinner. The area around it is incredibly cute as well, lots of beautiful neighborhoods, a farmers market on the Saturday we were there, and lots of cute little shops. Very close to some great hiking (with waterfalls!) as well. I would highly recommend a stay here!

What a great place! The location could hardly be better! The house was clean and set up well for us. We loved the layout of the house, great to entertain and very private. Most places in western north Carolina are a bit dated inside, same here but everything works well and was very clean. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Our vacation was fantastic! The Pisgah Forest cabin was modern, clean, and comfortable; perfect as our base of operations. My family planned a 60th birthday celebration for my wife with forest trail and mountain hiking. Of course there was rest and relaxation for everyone too! The Pete Key cabin had unexpected amenities that weren't even mentioned and was instrumental in making this very special family occasion an absolute success!

This house was perfect for our mother daughter weekend. We were four. 2 large bedrooms. Large bath. Living room and kitchen all decorated so comfy cozy. We all loved it. It was immaculate. The front porch is really cute. Beautiful flowers on the property. So much nicer than staying in a hotel. Everyone was super helpful with any questions we had and anything we needed. I highly recommend this home. Location was great. One block away from Trader Joe’s and downtown . We would definitely stay here when we visit again

Pete, Becky & Jay were great to work with. Took care of anything that came up. The property was as described. Clean. Well stocked kitchen with regard to utensils, plates, cups, etc. A few more wine lasses would be nice. Comfortable beds, nice showers, pretty view in back. Great rear porch. WiFi worked well. Large TV in living room. Brought our own ROKU set up so did not use their Apple TV set up. AC in master bedroom and living area but not in other bedrooms. Cooled down at night so that was not an issue. Road up to house is paved, two lane albeit narrow in places, steep in places but doable by taking your time. About 1.8 miles up the hill. Good location to Brevard and closer to Dupont State Forest for hiking and biking. Can take a 5 mile mountain bike ride into the park from the bottom of the hill. Enjoyed our stay. Typically we don't go back to the same places for vacations but Pete has other properties that we would look at.

This charming house in Brevard, NC was the perfect spot for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary/trout fishing trip. It is roomy, spotlessly clean, perfect for a family stay...our son, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons joined us on Friday. I highly recommend this house in this charming college town and will definitely stay here again! If you are lucky, you may even spot a white squirrel!

We had the best time at The Treehouse rental. Perfect size for 2-4 people. Super close to downtown Asheville. 5 minute walk to nearest craft coffee shop (High-Five). Plenty of super plushy towels and comfortable beds. Never ran out of hot water sharing with 3 girls for the weekend. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved this place. It was private and secluded yet close to town. The house was clean and classy. The internet was faster than any rental internet I have ever encountered. The beds were comfortable. The views from the enclosed porch were peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time. Of note, a tropical storm did pass through while we were there, and subsequently, there was no power for over 24 hours of our stay. Fortunately, we found some candles and a lighter and were still able to use the gas stove.

We had a great week in Arden, NC. We spent the week biking at The Riveter and hiking in Pisgah National Forest (our boys are 8 and 10). We loved this house -- great layout, updated and clean with all the amenities, awesome game room/movie theater, fabulous hot tub, etc. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time in this cute little mountain cabin. The place is small, cozy but has all you need. One recommendation to the owners: needs new cookware, TV's can use an update (although not there for watching...but), outdoor sitting too. Overall we all enjoyed the time and plan on staying there again. For a pet friendly place it was clean but would be better with LVP flooring.

Nice cottage or cabin in the woods feel. Rustically charming and adequate for a weekend visit. Beds are comfortable. Some furnishings are quite worn, and there was a strong disinfectant odor which was quite disagreeable when we first arrived, so the house needed to be aired out. Outdoor grill was also in need of a good cleaning. Nevertheless we were comfortable, and just rolled with the imperfections to have a nice time.

We have rented numerous vacation cabins and homes over the years. Renting with Pete Key Properties was by far the easiest rental process we have ever been through. They were so easy to do business with and were very communicative during the process and leading up to our stay. We also really appreciate the electronic door locks so we could go directly to the home instead of needing to go to a rental office in town. The property was exactly as advertised, was well-kept and was well-stocked. We are VERY happy with the entire experience! We would definitely rent with Pete Key again without hesitation if we find ourselves in NC again in the future.

We spent three nights at Pisgah Ridge cabin in Pisgah Forest. The cabin is spotless, spacious and very cozy. We highly recommend this property if you're planning to stay in the area. We took advantage of the hiking trails with amazing waterfalls in Dupont State Forest. We visited Oskar Blues brewery in Brevard (dog friendly and outdoor heaters too!). There are also some amazing restaurants in Brevard. We recommend The Square Root and Jordan Street Cafe. All within about 20 minutes of Pisgah Ridge.

Nice space from a terrific owner. Conveniently located to major highways and walking distance to all the fun of downtown Asheville. Important to note that there is no off-street parking, and the space is a work-in-progress. If you're looking for a polished hotel feel, you may want to look elsewhere, but if you're content with a comfortable space with all the basic amenities done well, then this is a true gem. Will visit this place again!

We stumbled upon the Rose Room while searching for a rental location online for our trip to Asheville. The Rose Room was located in the perfect spot between our planned downtown activities and our Pisgah Forest hikes. The private entrance and ample parking made arriving and departing simple and we were comfortable coming and going as we pleased. The room is a large size which was great for my fiance to lounge while I was able to finish some computer work in the afternoons. Everything we could have needed was conveniently located in the Rose Room and the homeowners were very friendly and said hello when we ran into them several times!

My wife and I stayed at 58 Maple St. in Brevard for a brief WNC getaway. We found the house to be very clean and well-stocked with a brand-new full-sized gas range, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. This house is within easy walking distance to downtown Brevard and centrally located for hiking in Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests. We needed to extend our stay an extra night and had no problem contacting Pete Key Properties the day before our scheduled departure and making the arrangements. We are seasoned vacation rental guests and would wholeheartedly recommend this house to couples and families staying in the Brevard area.

Goodness, we loved staying here. I love older houses that are lovingly maintained, and this one is a gem inside and out! Great light, gorgeous views, perfect location--we walked to downtown lots; took advantage of being walking distance from Trader Joe's, Greenlife, and Harris Teeters; ate at the diner around the corner; were able to get to West Asheville quickly; took a 3min drive to get to the lovely botanical gardens; AND discovered a nearby playground for our busy toddler. Best of all, Pete and Elisabeth were gracious hosts. When I ran into Pete our first evening there, he assured me that the sounds of a toddler above were sweet. 5 fussy nights later (teething!!), he may not have agreed, but never said anything. We would recommend the apartment to anyone!

Wonderful vacation rental close to town and the Brevard Music Center! This property has two king beds and three bedrooms total. It is on two levels and provides privacy for separate couples. It is clean and well maintained and was very comfortable during our stay.

Disappointed not worth the price paid: • Clean no bugs or fur (is pet friendly) • The light in fridge did not work, and it was not totally clean • Only 1 load worth of soap for the dishwasher • the view was ok but not what as billed – trees blocks view from inside the house • Most of the outside lights do not work • Lots of light switches, no clue what they control • Charcoal grill was dirty • sign post on fireplace ask you to be conservative due to the cost of firewood but No firewood around • Not worth top dollar for the mountains, needs a lot of attention o Weeks over growing garden o Missing rails on walkway from garage o Steep driveway, this was for warned o Be prepared to carried luggage 40 or so feet over uneven surface • Most windows have issues: will not open or if they open, they don’t close without assistance. One was broken. • Heat works great, a/c only on bottom floor – where bedrooms are, upstairs to cool the house needed to open doors • Dining room chair broken (missing slates) • Furniture well used, but comfy • Not handicap friendly • Hot tub not open during winter – this was not in advertisement as such • Deck isn't level, has a well warn spot at the best viewing spot • Old fashion baby gate, and works great!

Being the only rental room @The Blake House Inn, it was very quiet and we loved the chairs to sit and read both inside and outside. The queen size bed was wonderful. The delightful owners live in The Inn and and were very helpful. It's between Asheville and Hendersonville and is a very short distance from the Biltmore Estate, which we enjoyed visiting again.
