My kiddo and I had a blast at the Matanuska Glacier in February with Bill and Greatland. Booking was easy, staff was helpful and responsive, Bill communicated and picked us up on time and, along the drive, shared some fun info about the area. At the glacier, he was knowledgeable, answering questions and had a genuine interest in making sure everyone had a great experience. As a side note, I liked the early departure (we beat the other tours so we had a nice, quiet experience and nice light) and the smaller tour. As we were leaving, we saw two large groups with another tour and I really appreciated the smaller tour we were on; it afforded us a more personal adventure. We definitely plan to trek back to Alaska again and, when we do, we'll go out on another tour with Greatland for sure!

This was such a wonderful experience! Our guide, Bill, was professional, knowledgeable, and overall such a cool person. I booked this activity for my partner and I for our anniversary and we are so glad we did it. It would have been difficult to do it alone without a tour guide or someone who knows the landscape and safety guidelines. Bill taught us a lot about Alaskan mountains and glaciers, and the overall outdoor culture in Alaska. I highly recommend this trip to anyone, whether in a group or traveling solo. Other guests were easy to talk to and everyone got along well! Lunch was also included as stated in the package (some reviews says it doesn’t). Bill took us to a delicious spot with a wide variety to choose from. Thanks so much for the amazing experience!

We spent 4 amazing days with Bill from Greatland. From Anchorage to Fairbanks— we hiked the Glacier..took a Talkeetna Air tour went Snowshoeing in Denali and mingled with the Sled Dogs and Reindeer… Bill made the adventure fun, educational and a wonderful family experience. Thank YOU!

We booked a tour with Greatland Adventures to do the Matanuska glacier walk. This company was easy to book with, provided clear concise communication and alerts prior to our tour. Our tour guide (Matt) was GREAT! He reached right on time, and was friendly, knowledgeable and fun! He ensured our drive (2 hours each way) was smooth. He brought extra gear for us incase any of us needed to warm up more. He provided great insights to help us along the glacier. Most of were new to -20°F weather, so we needed that extra guidance and Matt was amazing. He patiently took our pictures and gave us all time to aclimate. A lunch is also included in a nearby restaurant (Long Rifle Lodge) as part of the tour. Overall, a GREAT GREAT experience and an amazing tour guide. Highly recommend!

I had an absolutely amazing experience working with Greatland Adventures for the Northern Lights tour. The online booking process is easy. The communication with Steve was very open and honest. The day of, we received a phone call regarding the trip. He was very clear about the forecast and our chances of viewing the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, like Steve had warned us, due to the weather, our chances of actually seeing the lights were low and it so happened that we didn't get to see them. Even with Aurora being a no show, the trip was worth it. The tour guides Mike and Luke made the drive and the whole experience so amazing. Luke, gave us information on how the Northern Lights form. Mike took some beautiful pictures of us with the Big Dipper. Hot drinks, water, snacks and warm clothing is provided and restroom stops are also made, as needed. Seeing the Northern Lights remains on my bucketlist and I'd book with Greatland Adventures again in a heartbeat!

There are not enough words to explain how incredible the northern lights tour is. Steve was the absolute best guide with TONS of knowledge. We trusted him and he lead us to the PERFECT spot to see a spectacular show. We took the private tour with our two boys who are 6 and 9. They slept in the van while we chased aurora and we woke them up when lady A was showing off! Do not hesitate to book this tour! Thank you Steve for the unforgettable experience. I don’t usually leave reviews either but the folks at Greatland Adventures deserve it! It’s been almost a week since we were in Fairbanks to see the Aurora Borealis and I still can’t get over it - it was such an amazing experience! Everyone we dealt with - from making the reservation to our forecast call to our actual tour - was awesome. Our guide, Mike, was so easy to talk to - it was like we had known him forever - and we instantly felt comfortable around him. There’s a whole science behind the lights and Mike was very knowledgable and took the time to explain and share info. You could tell how passionate he was about his job. His excitement added to our excitement = pure amazingness! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience 💕

This was a fantastic tour! I was crossing my fingers all week that an Aurora show would occur and Greatland made sure that when it did I was able to see it. The van was stocked with warm snacks and drinks, it was comfortable for the long ride and the pick up was easy. Gabe was a fantastic guide. I will be sure to use Greatland next time I’m in Alaska and recommend it to anyone traveling by here!

I'm from California and have been to Alaska 5 times and had experienced many excursions and tours. The hike on Matanuska Glacier is my favorite of all. The drive from Anchorage was scenic, the lunch was delicious. This tour would not have been so fantastic without our tour guide "Sean"!

Excellent tour to see the northern lights! Easy sign up process, very friendly guy coordinating (Steve), and great experience/conditions all around. The van was clean and well-equipped. We had snacks, hot drinks, and hand warmers at the ready. Marty, our guide, was awesome. Could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and friendly person to lead the trip—and it was evident that he genuinely enjoys his job, which is refreshing and made the trip a lot more entertaining, for us. We had awesome visibility and got some incredible photos of the Aurora. I would recommend this company and tour to anyone who is coming to Anchorage in the winter.

We did the aurora viewing tour out of Anchorage with Jacob. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour—the drive to and from was pleasant and Jacob explained a lot to us about the science behind the aurora and his experience chasing the Northern Lights. Once we were setup, we had a beautiful picture and viewing opportunity for many hours. Jacob was professional, helpful, and very accommodating (he served hot chocolate and hot coffee at exactly the right moment—my fingers were freezing!). If you want to have a great experience when you try to see the Northern Lights, I’d recommend trying to go with Jacob. Nothing is guaranteed (all the right things need to come together to see the aurora) but the overall experience was first-rate. I would cite this as one of the best tour experiences.

We did an amazing hike on the Matanuska Glacier with Greatland. The transport, hiking, and guides Matt and Bill were fabulous. They did such a good job of tailoring it to our diverse little group. The were funny, knowledgeable, patient, and knew all the right spots to take the best photos. I would recommend Greatland to any visitors to Anchorage. A must do!

This was the coldest day of our lives, as we’re from Hawai’i, but the cold was barely noticeable for the majority of the tour because we enjoyed it so much! Awesome experience and Bill was a great tour guide! Highly recommend to anyone from any climate!

We went out with Jacob to see the aurora. From the beginning, Jacob displayed tremendous knowledge and made us feel very welcome. Our van had warm beverages, snacks, water, and was kept on during our 3+ hour viewing which allowed us to stay out and also warm up intermittently. The actual aurora did appear to the naked eye several times, but what was particularly stunning is the quality of photograph that Jacob captured. In addition to seeing the swirling aurora in person, we were able to observe the light picked up by the professional grade equipment which was a total joy. I would highly recommend this package tour. The ride to the location, photo opportunities, conversation and company of Jacob was a 10/10 experience and one that I will recommend to anyone seeking to see the Northern Lights.

I had a great experience! The guides were very knowledgeable and clearly experienced in the harsh conditions Alaska can have. I went in the middle of winter right after a snow dump and thought it may not be the best time, but the guides made hiking the glacier easy and we had a lot of fun along the way!

My boyfriend and I did the Matanuska Glacier tour. Matt and Sean were excellent guides. Fantastic communication on pick up and drop off. Great information and safety tips along the way. The glacier itself was breathtaking of course. Unbelievable how ever changing the landscapes really are. Lunch was delicious and the view was freakin wild! We tried different companies operating tours from Anchorage and Greatland Adventures is definitely THE BEST one in town: professional, helpful staff, on time and on schedule, small tour groups, amazing tour guide (very knowledgeable and approachable) yummy snacks and highest quality gear: from jackets to boots, mittens, etc! The Matanuska Glacier Tour was absolutely incredible. Bill and Dawn were amazing guides for the day and this experience truly made my brief trip to Anchorage for a conference even more memorable. From the beautiful, scenic drive with great information about the area shared along the way to the hours we spent hiking and exploring in the snow and ice to the great meal we shared with our group after, it really was a perfect day. I also had a Northern Lights Tour booked with Greatland Adventures that was canceled for my two available nights due to weather conditions, but they did a great job communicating about the weather/cancelations. I will definitely use Greatland Adventures again when I return to Alaska, and I would especially love to do the Matanuska Glacier Tour again during summer to see the differences between the seasons.

What a great tour! I booked the 8 hour Wildlife Tour for July 1st for 5 people. Steven looked after the tour himself, arrived on time and delivered an excellent tour. All 5 of us are wildlife photographers and we were not disappointed. Our tour stopped at several spots where we saw Moose including a first year calf, Bald Eagles, Dall Sheep and Arctic Terns feeding the babies. We also stopped at a great BBQ Restaurant for lunch at his recommendation and the food was amazing. The van provided had more than enough room for us 5 even considering we were all carrying cameras with fairly large lenses plus gear bags. The feedback from the other 4 participants was positive and I would highly recommend booking with Steven.

My friend and I booked the Northern Lights tour and had the best time. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Daniel our guide was fantastic and answered all of our questions and knew so much. He also took all the pictures we wanted (eagerly waiting to receive those!) We booked the Matanuska Glacier Tour the next day since the company was so great. Once again Mike our guide was awesome and explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. This was also a once in a lifetime experience and we loved every single moment of it! We did two tours with Greatland during my daughters 10 year old birthday trip to Anchorage. Stephen took us to Happy Trails Kennel and it was incredible. Our trip was to experience mushing and see actual sled dogs racing What a great memory for my daughter and I. We got to mush and learn about the dogs and meet the athletes and the pups. Stephen was a great guide and took some incredible pics for our memories. Personable and engaging - Stephen made is a great day for us. Greatland Adventures couldn't have been easier to work with.

Greatland Adventures was recommended to me by a friend. We choice the Aurora tour in Fairbanks. Upon arriving into Fairbanks, we met with Chris (our guide) almost immediately after landing and did not have to travel far for pickup (seriously, like 2 minutes from the airport). There were snacks and water for us along with big heavy jackets and pants to wear in case we were cold. And cold we were! Chris was so enthusiastic about seeing the lights, he made half the fun. He drove us to a small cabin about 40 minutes out of town. We could see the Auroras from the van and immediately upon stepping out, we were awestruck by the Auroras. Chris took our photos (professional Nikon camera) , created a fire for us to stay warm (inside the cabin), and made us soup and cider. Worth every penny we paid and I highly recommend Steve's company, Greatland Adventures to anyone. Rochelle was really amazing helping us book our reservations. We had trouble paying and she was kind enough to assist all the way through. I'm so very happy! Huge thank you to everyone at Greatland Adventures. I'll never forget this experience, thank you for being a part of it.

We went with Greatland on a Northern Lights tour and a Matanuska Glacier tour and can't say enough about both experiences. Our guides, Daniel (for Northern Lights) and Jonathan (for Matanuska), were both so friendly and full of knowledge. We were blown away by how much we learned and the sights we were able to see. Walking inside a glacier and looking up at the brightest Milky Way were truly bucket list experiences for us both. Can't recommend Greatland enough -- these were adventures we won't ever forget!

MUST DO!! We had the best time aurora watching with our guide Gabriel. It turned out to be the perfect night as we were able to see the lights even with naked eyes. Absolutely amazing! Gabriel ensured to stop at the right spots so that we can experience the aurora at its best. The tour was quite informative and Gabriel kept us engaged throughout the night with his knowledge on aurora. He set up his camera at each spot without fail and took so many pictures of everyone. Most of us didn't have the right gear to take the pics, so it helped a lot!! Can't wait to get the photos from your team. Outstanding company to tour with! I took the Northern Lights tour on two nights. The first night, the lights unfortunately didn't appear. However, Gabe was a wonderful guide and did his best to make the experience enjoyable. The second night was EPIC. Jacob is such an enthusiastic guide and took us to a clear spot where the Aurora danced for HOURS. The forecasting/seat guarantee is 100% worth it, and these are honest folks who set expectations and then go beyond with their service. HIGHLY recommend choosing Greatlands.

My wife and I did the matanuska galcier tour today and had an absolute blast. Sean was our guide and he was awesome. From pickup to drop off he answered every question we had and provided great knowledge about Alaska. We arrived at the glacier and geared up to go hiking. I'm so glad they provided all the gear because we were not fully prepared. The glacier was incredible. You could hear the ice moving and Sean helped navigate us the safe way around. He took many pictures of us along the way and explained in great detail how the glacier works. We finished the hike and had a great lunch with awesome views. We highly recommend to anyone in the Anchorage area. Thanks again Sean.

My family and I went on the Winter Glacier Hike on the Matanuska glacier today. Matt was our guide. We had an awesome day! Before our trip, all of our questions were answered very promptly. Greatland Adventures took care of every detail. They provided all of our outerwear, down to hand warmers for the gloves. They even provided boots, so that we did not need to buy heavy-duty cold weather boots beforehand. Our hike was amazing on the glacier and Matt was a wonderful and attentive guide. The lunch afterwards was in a great location with food that was perfect after our hike. I can’t think of anything that could have been done differently to make the day better. Thanks to Greatland Adventures for a wonderful day!

Greatland Adventure Glacier trip was amazing experience and everyone should do it. Sean was a very professional, friendly and all round great tour guide. As a solo traveler I usually veer towards group tours and make my decisions based on ratings. Greatland Adventures definitely lived up to their high ratings and awesome reviews. I have booked several tours with them. From the beginning it was a pleasurable experience with Steve and Rochelle who have excellent communication with their clients and ensure you are fully accommodated for your tour. I did the northern lights tour with Mike who is an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable and he captured some excellent photos of me! I completed the glacier tour with Bill who is also very knowledgeable and ensured we had a great experience at the glacier by getting us there before others arrived and allowing us to safe explore all the accessible crevasses. I absolutely recommend this tour company they are amazing!

I booked the cruise around Prince William Sound for the beautiful landscape and views of the glaciers, with my fingers crossed that maaaaybe I might spot a whale along the way. Well. We saw a couple of humpback whales, a lot of sea otters, seals, seal lions, a big bear swimming closer to shore, and the absolute highlight, a pod of Dall’s porpoises racing the boat. I will never forget the feeling of standing on the bow and looking down at porpoises playing below my feet. The captain was so great about making sure everyone saw everything there was to see, pausing to let us take pictures, and getting as close to the glaciers and animals as was safely possible. I will never forget this afternoon.

Our original tour guide that was booked didn’t show , we had waited 2 hours for them and finally we gave up it was my boyfriend’s 40th birthday and the only thing he wanted to do was walk on glaciers special thanks to our bell man at captain cook for reaching out to greatland adventures they made this day so special for us Christian took us on a private tour they really went above and beyond and turned this day around for us we are so thankful and happy I highly recommend this company if you In Anchorage Alaska they are very very amazing people from the receptionist to the tour guide thank you’ll !!!

My coworker and I came to Anchorage for a work related trip but arrived a few days earlier to explore Anchorage. Our tour guide was named Bill and he was an amazing tour guide! He picked us up promptly and was very friendly and informative. He answered all our questions and was great about stopping the van and having us take some pictures of moose we saw on the road. The Matanuska Glacier was so beautiful and he made sure we were well equipped for the hike and was very knowledgeable about glacier formations. It was nice we were there on the off season (1st week of May). We got our own private tour and had the glacier to ourselves for over an hour before people starting coming in. Other tours would not have taken just 2 people but Greatland Adventures was wonderful about it. We got a nice lunch that was included on our package after the hike and great tips for activities and restaurants to go elsewhere in Anchorage. I would definitely recommend them again!

I booked a tour with Greatland Adventures to see the Northern Lights in Fairbanks. It was cloudy and challenging for a few days but Brad is very knowledgeable about what to look for and he took us out to the perfect spot to see the auroras. They are super friendly and professional. We had just gotten back from an outing when we got the call to go that night vs. the following night because of the weather. And we're glad we did. It was more than worth it. Gabriel picked us up, and we headed out. He was great with information, history, and insight on the way out and provided snacks and hot chocolate. They also offered additional clothing if you needed/wanted it - which we ended up using as it was -6F that night, and we stood outside for quite a while The first stop didn't show much, so we pressed on, and it was worth the drive. I'd recommend being patient, as even during the visit, it changed several times.

And set up the tour. We went on the tour and very much enjoyed it. We got very lucky to have our own private tour. We got to see some beautiful ice caves. Touching the glacier ice was really a awesome experience . Not real cold as you would think since it's ice. I highly recommend to take the Matanuska glacier tour and I suggest you take it with Steve. This was a wonderful experience! Definitely recommend. They provide extra warm gear and let you play with all the dogs and get to know them. Our guides were very knowledgeable and helped us to have a wonderful time in negative weather and a true Alaskan experience.

Took an amazing day-long Matanuska Glacier Hike with guide Bill Thompson. His love for Alaska, its history, geology and its natural beauty was infectious. Bill was even more excited than we were that conditions had changed and allowed us to walk farther in than other groups had previously this winter. We had very good experience on our matanuska glacier walk tour . Our tour guide was very friendly and kind person. Bill listened to my son's never ending questions and answered all of them with patience. My 12yr old son had great time with him. Bill was accompanied by second tour guide(sorry I forgot her name ) she was lovely person. During the walk they made us walk in one single line and I was usually the last person with multiple photo stops .She used to wait and make sure i walked safely. If cost is not a factor i will highly recommend this tour for everyone for multiple reasons. They provide all boots,crampons,walk us safely through the glacier(extremely important) Though this is road accessible glacier and you think renting a car is cheaper i guess we made a good decision on taking this tour because they came on time as promised ,my husband was off the wheel relaxing while they did the driving in that unpredictable weather. It was raining and a small portion of the drive is mud road which was bit scary. I was surprised when they took us to good restaurant for lunch instead of providing some sandwiches unlike tour that market saying 'lunch included' . I would love to give 5 rating but i was not truly not happy with the glacier itself. All glacier surrounding area is covered in silt, couldn't walk very close to the glacier due to safety issues .I didn't see lot of light blue glacier like i imagined. it was very cloudy and couldn't take good pics. We flew into Alaska not knowing what to do . We are so grateful we found Great Land Adventures!!! They set up the most amazing time for us . We did a couple of group tours and a private tour . The tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area , land and animals . There is no way our trip would of been this amazing with out them ! Great people and great value . . We give them 100 stars out of 5 . Will use them over and over again why in Alaska . If only we could take them on adventures out side of the state of Alaska .

Greatland was great! We visited Alaska in early September and seeing the Aurora Borealis was definitely on our list! The team communicated with me for the pickup time and picked us up at our hotel. They then drove us out to an area where they set up tents with hot chocolate and tea. They had extra warm coats and gloves and boots for everyone who needed the extra warmth. The tents even had heaters in them! They took their time and we waited and even though the sky wasn't the best to view with the naked eye they had a special camera that captured the lights! It was beautiful and I am so thankful that we took the chance and went out with them! They sure know how to take care of their customers. I would highly recommend them and if I am ever back in the area I will use them again for some of their other excursions!

To start with they are very conscientious. The night we were scheduled had high clouds in the forecast and projected low Northern Lights activity. They called to let us know about it and we rescheduled for the following night. Our van driver Brad was very friendly and helpful. He took us to the remote spot outside Anchorage for the best viewing of the Northern Lights with the other vans. The team made sure that we were warm and comfortable. They had tents with heaters and hot cocoa. They also had heavy jackets for everyone. The view in the sky of the Northern Lights on that September night left us awestruck. They took pictures of each of us with the Northern Lights that will be cherished forever. I highly recommend this tour of a lifetime with these great folks!

I happened to search out Greatland Adventures which offered Matanuska Glacier tour nearly everyday? Online booking was smooth, and I got confirmation letter in no time(by the way, I like its layout design that gave me pretty good impression on the company). The glacier was amazing obviously. But I just would like to say our tour guide was kind as well; he kept asking if we’re warm on the trek.... We’r foreigners, and because of the oral English skills we didn’t have many conversations; but we all felt the guide was very friendly, polite and was willing to help. He tried starting conversation topics and even talked with our kid. I believe he is knowledgeable in not only local Alaska but also outdoor activities. I’m impressed by Greatland Adventures because of our guide. Will choose Greatland again whenever come back to Alaska. BUT, why didn’t our guide introduce himself to us? And it’s also weird that we didn’t ask his name either :-D Wish I have had known his name...

Highly recommended! Even though I traveled to Alaska in a “slow season” and couldn’t see the Northern lights, I had an incredible experience going to the Matanuska Glacier. Sydney, our guide, was professional, knowledgable, attentive and very nice. The experience of was absolutely incredible! Definitely a “must” on the things to do in Alaska. I wasn’t lucky enough to see the northern lights, but I did go on the tour on the last day I was in town and Jonathan, our guide, was very nice and warmth, he seems to know Alaska very well and made some great recommendations on what to do/see. Prior to going on the tour, Steven and Brad were very communicative and on the days where the probability was null they did let me know upfront and always maintained clear expectations that the probability wasn’t the best during the days I was available; however, I decided to give it a try, and well... I had no luck, but I hope there will be a next time.

Excellent Tour Operator Review of Greatland Adventures Pending review We used Greatland to book a series of tours for our visit to Anchorage. And were never disappointed in either the tours we booked or the customer service. The staff on the phone helped us to set up tours and dates that worked well for our trip. They took the time to answer all of our questions and even helped with recommendations on hotels and restaurants and other things to do (like which museums to see). Steve and Sandy even answered questions after hours. It was not unusual for me to fire off a quick email and then get an answer right away (even though I didn't expect an answer until the next morning). Brad was our guide on the glacier-hiking adventure. He was personable, helpful, outgoing, and was simply great company. He also gave us a list of restaurants and hot spots to hit in Anchorage. We loved the tours, loved the people, and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering an Alaskan vacation.

An absolutely wonderful experience hiking on the Matanuska Glacier with Greatland Adventures! Guides Steve, Bill, and Sydney were super friendly, knowledgable, and took really good care of everyone in our tour group making sure we’re safe, warm, and comfortable. They even pulled over on the way to the glacier so we could take pictures of a moose couple that they spotted in distance. Matanuska Glacier is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to, I highly recommend going there with Greatland Adventures - they have the gear, warm clothes, they’re very professional and reliable, and they know where to walk safely on the glacier.

Wonderful experience! One of the few companies that evaluates the prospect of seeing the Aurora with technology and will roll your trip over to the next day if the probability is poor. Went out with Chris and two other people at 11 PM. Because it was clear, they took us to their lob cabin about an hour out of Fairbanks. The lights start slowly and just keep building. It was amazing! Chris was wonderful - took great care of us as it was very cold - got to 40 below! They bring extra clothing and heat warmers and have drinks and snack. On the way home he stopped on the road and we all got out as the Aurora was literally dancing over our heads! No photos of that as we were not set up but the experience of a lifetime!

I wanted to take my crew on something extremely special and memorable this time around. We originally had the Northern Lights tour booked but Mother Nature had other plans and it wasn’t in the books. We booked the tour last minute. Communication was good & tour guides were very nice. We were dissapointed that we didn't get to see the lights through the naked eye but they were slightly captured through the guides camera. I shared my experience with the company and the owner, Steve B., Personally replied. He addressed my concerns and welcomed my feedback. This level of service is unheard of now a days hence, why I gave them a 5 star. I will not hesitate to use and recommend them to our guests as I work in the travel industry.

Good customer service but honestly very pricey for things you could do yourself for alot less expensive. The Kayaking I think it was worth it But the Matanuska Glacier hike was way over priced and not worth having a guide when you can go out there yourself with some ice pick shoes and do it for less than 3x than this tour company charges Northern lights tour I also think was way over priced and not worth having a guide when you can go out on your own to same location and see it yourself

The glacier itself was a beautiful thing to see and experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Alaska in general and we really appreciated that. However, we got picked up by a van that didn’t have a heater so we had to go back to the office to switch it up. When we got to the office we were told to grab anything we needed from the equipment but there were lot of limited sizes. (Even though we got asked when we did our reservation what sizes we needed). We wonder what would of happened if we didn’t have had to switched vans (would we still have stopped at the shop for the equipment they said they’d provide?). According to our guide we were already running late (because we had to stop to switch vans) to our tour and throughout our time in the glacier he kept looking at the clock and being in a hurry to get back. We had great a great time but we had a lot of logistical issues along the way.

It is a little overpriced, considering the fact that seeing the aurora is not guaranteed. They do provide a forecast ahead of time. Our guide picked us up from the hotel and he had a professional camera to see the lights (we couldn't really see them with the naked eyes) and they sent us the pictures to email the next day. Husband and I did our bucket list adventure to glacier hike on matanuska glacier today with Brad as our guide. We did a lot of touristy cookie cutter adventuring on our trip to Alaska, but we wanted this to be different. This tour company was far from cookie cutter, and we loved every minute of it. We are now thinking of returning to Alaska in the wintertime and asking greatland adventures to take us mushing and seeking the aurora borealis! We'll certainly ask for Brad again!

Happened to go to northern lights tour with GLA guys. Below is my experience and opinion : 1) Well skilled guys. They predict precisely. They know the perfect spots to find the northern lights. 2) well disciplined, polite and friendly. Capable of addressing all the issues and questions during the tour. 3) They showed us the northern lights occurance in 3 different places untill morning 3am (Started at 7 pm). 4) They ensue everyone are provided with winter gears which is very much needed. 5) Snacks and hot beverages were taken care onboard. 6) Photography is taken care by the organizers which is included in the trip fare. Pictures are perfect and vivid. 7) Pick up and drop at the staying place made it easier. Finally, the best tour agency for a comfortable and satisfying experience.
