It’s a cigar lounge inside an old cathedral with well crafted drinks and a very tasty food truck. What is NOT to love. The ambiance is chill in a Saturday afternoon. Food amazing. Those may be the best onion rings I’ve had in a while. They have live jazz wed and Thursday at 6, other music live on weekends. There’s a reserved room for club members. I hear it’s boss. Might wanna know more. If you haven’t been, you are missing out. The back patio will be THE spot to be at come cooler weather. I had the confessional and my friend had an espresso martini. I hear Alyssa is the best in the biz. ;)

I love what they did to this location. I'm a longtime fan of great cigars and the selection there is excellent. I believe there is an association with the Arturo Fuente family which is very well-known name in that industry. The bar is great the layout is amazing I can see Halloween being just an absolute blast. The girls tending bar are fantastic and attentive and they have a great outside patio in the fall and winter would be just amazing. Stop by have a cocktail and a smoke.

I’ve been to many Cigar Shops in my day from NY all the way down to the southern tip of FL. There is no Cigar shop I’ve been to that I feel at home like Grand Cathedral. The staff is knowledgeable, the bartenders, wait staff are friendly as well as customer oriented and the ambience is amazing. I only wish I could articulate how beautiful it is inside and out. A day here you feel like you’re home. The Cigar selections amazing and every stick I’ve ever purchased has an amazing burn and produced a hell of an ash. I’m embarrassed to say but I love the house Maduro Cigar the best. Trust me once you come here with the staff, ambience, price and friendliness of the patrons you will never want to go anywhere else.

A very chill unique vibe in Tampa! I believe there’s a good selection of cigars there, I went there having never been to a cigar bar before. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! It was themed very well and there were multiple floors that you could sit back and smoke. The have a large bourbon selection which made the drinks expensive but good. They also had live music playing, which I believe is nightly. Would recommend if you want to change it up from your everyday outings

Overall this a cool place to have a cigar. I had the Jesuit cigar (a house Connecticut) it was very well constructed and I did not have to relight it once. Their cocktails were good. The live music was amazing. Overall could be a little cleaner and a little friendlier. Their outside atmosphere was amazing and their food truck Sandwichi had pretty good food. You get a free house cigar if you give 5 stars.

This wasn’t my first time at Grand Cathedral, but it was probably the most impactful. From its opening last year, I’ve loved the concept and the actual space, it the visit on Sunday that exemplified why it’s such a wonderful place. Dominic is a big reason for that. His accommodating nature and informative suggestions were great. I asked for something lighter and possibly a bit sweet, he suggested the perfect pairing for what I desired and it was amazing. I know I’ll return and will find Dominic to make sure he can point me in the direction of a good cigar for my tastes that day. As far as the overall vibe, it was excellent. Grace, our server was on point and genuinely friendly. The clientele was laid back and courteous, not over chatty or intrusive. Amazing cigar and a great vibe at Grand Cathedral brought my crazy busy work week to a wonderful close.

Wonderful place to enjoy an exquisite cigar. Plenty of unique seating areas, while the cigar selection is vast, I couldn't find any sweet cigars to satisfy my wife's palette. The owners are truly gracious hosts and the staff are diligent in their work. It was a wonderful visit and am thankful for the experience.

Not all cigar bars are created equally and that’s not shading anyone nor is it a bad thing. Fortunately, they tend to all have their own vibe and Grand Cathedral is one of the special vibes out there. The venue itself is unique and very inviting. While there’s ample seating o it side and lots of days that you could enjoy great Tampa weather with a smoke on the patio, being inside the tabernacle is just so much a vibe. Dominic is that guy! He’s hospitable, extremely astute about cigars and always hit Ms you with a great recommendation no matter what you’re in the mood for. If you’re visiting Tampa and don’t have it on your list of must-do stops, go back to the drawling board. Your list is incomplete. If you live in town and haven’t visited, what are you waiting for. But if you know, you already know. Grand Cathedral is a wonderful spot to enjoy a stick, grab a drink,reconnect with your people or just grab a bite at the on-site food truck or all the above.

This is one of the coolest cigar lounges I have been too. Especially being here in cigar city (Tampa). Live music, great atmosphere. They have a member's area, a couple of outdoor patios. An absolute hidden gem in the heart of Tampa! The atmosphere is incredible, the cigar selection is comprehensive, the staff is friendly and the service, even on a busy Friday night was quick and attentive. Management was fantastic and made sure everyone had a comfortable place to sit even when we had to come inside when it was raining. A must visit cigar lounge and great experience for locals and visitors. I look forward to making this my regular cigar spot.

Beautiful architecture, thoughtfully restored, and a great atmosphere. Staff was all very friendly and knowledgeable, cigars were well maintained and an expansive collection. Good ventilation as well. It was raining so I only took a quick look but the outside area looked like a perfect place to hang out.

An outstanding experience I will say! I came with my buddies and as we walked in we encountered Dom. He was extremely professional and kind. He gave us an in depth tour and an answered any and all questioned we had. The atmosphere was engulfing as you don’t go inside of an actual historic cathedral to smoke cigars. The music was upbeat, the decorations on point. Overall an asking experience. If you ever need a date spot this is it. As long as your date doesn’t mind smoke inside, that is. We will be back as this is definitely our new spot to relax to music and the pond outside with actual koi fish in it!

I’ve been to lounges all over the world, this place is quite amazing. The vibe is what you want in a cigar lounge. The outdoor patio is secluded, and cozy my wife was very comfortable there. Running into “the man Arturo Fuente” in the humidor was pretty cool. The drinks and staff are excellent it’s a must-see if you're in town.

A great smoking experience....the Cathedral is a beautifully renovated church separated into a huge full humidor, a seated bar and multiple seating areas. Additionally there is a large outdoor area with heat lamps, fire pits and covered seating. And the cigars themselves...fabulous!! The hardest part was finding the right one to smoke since there were so many to choice from!!...All my trips to Tampa will include a stop at the Grand Cathedral Cigars store!!!

An experience. Great selection of cigars. The venue is not even describable. It has the feel of a lodge and an amazing humidor. It wood work and finish in this building something to be seen. The outside patio has plenty of seating for as many people as you would like to meet. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly. Very cool spot. One of my favorite cigar shops/lounges I’ve been to for the aesthetic. It’s massive, a huge place but still feels intimate and warm. Good cigar selection and very friendly service. Only complaint is that for as big as they are they have very little seating available for the general public. However if you wanna spend big bucks and get a membership there seems to be more available seating upstairs. As a visitor from out of town I would have liked more lounge options for myself. But honestly this isn’t a complaint just a minor nuisance. I still very much enjoyed my experience here.

Visited here today and I was impressed! Of course the building itself is cool, both inside and outside. Outside there are several places with tables and chairs to enjoy a cigar. Inside has a huge humidor, full bar, places to smoke a cigar, and a members-only 2nd floor for enjoying cigars. The cigar selection is awesome. They also have me a 10% discount for buying a whole box of cigars. Great place!

Enjoy coming here so much. Love the atmosphere so much and the kind servers are fabulous. I wish they could work on the ventilation a little bit though. And, brush up on their martini skills. We received brown vodka martinis!!! Also, there was a man skulking about in all black giving everyone dark glaring looks all night. He made himself known as if to intimidate folks having a good time. Not sure his purpose but he was evident and obvious. Never seen that before, it WAS always a warm welcoming establishment.

Love Grand Cathedral Cigars! Great venue, especially the huge patio, with coy pond, fire feature and several seating options (outdoor lounge seats, tables & seating walls). They did a phenomenal job renovating this old cathedral into a casual, comfortable & cozy lounge. I love the exterior lighting at night, the Cathedral & patio are very well lit such that you feel like you are in a plush & intimate jungle garden! They have excellent live music!!! I just wish they piped it outside, I know they are trying to be good neighbors so they don't want to disturb the neighbors with loud music, but the musical artists are so good, those on the patio should be able to enjoy the music as well, even at at low volume so as not to bother the neighbors. if they did pipe the music outside then those on the patio would also get to enjoy the quality & varied live music as well as those who are inside. The Humidor is massive with an awesome selection of cigars. I love their 'house' cigars!! They are a great way experience various flavors & options, especially of you are a novice cigar smoke. The staff are awesome, friendly & work hard to ensure everyone enjoys every visit. They are very knowledgeable about their cigar offerings and love chatting with the customers about their various cigars, flavors & history. The have a food truck on site which offers a tasty nibbles & eats!!

The upper levels of the cathedral are for members only however but depending on the time of the day you shotbe able to find plenty of seating for us regular folks. With the help of the amazing staff, specifically Dom, he was able to recommend their Sweet Connecticut “the Jesuit”! This was an amazing smoke especially paired with a coffee. Because of the service and advice Dom provided, I will be coming back a lot. The selection of cigars and the service provided by the staff is topped off by the amazing atmosphere around there. The patio is a beautiful place to enjoy an evening, the inside is an exquisite place and fits the cigar environment. Simply amazing, who in the world would think to repurpose an over 100 year old church into the must see destination of Ybor City.... aka the cigar capitol of the world? The GCC has set the bar for cigar lounges across the country if not the world. Just pulling into the parking lot of this grand building is impressive, but it is only the start of your experience. The monstrous size out door patio is not only huge, it has very comfortable furniture, fire pits to warm you, it is lighted and the water features are just insane. Talking about insane, once you walk into the Cathedral look to your right and stare in amazement of the over size humidor filled with some of the best, rarest cigars in the world I was like a kid in the candy store seeing box after box of rolled gold. Once you get over your hyper ventilating experience called the humidor continue inside and you can hardly believe what awaits you once you get into the heart of the Grand Cathedral Cigar experience. It opens up into this amazing 4 level open area including a large number of TV's and an old fashioned style bar that reminds me of a Saloon from the 1800's in Arizona during the push out west. I have to finish this review by mentioning that the staff here some of the most knowledgable, courteous people you will ever have help you in any business. Angela, thank you for making your business feel like home to my wife and I. We will be seeing you very soon!

They took a local historical building and transformed it into the Tampa Mecca for Cigar smokers. This location has it all from a vast indoor open air feel of the brick lined walls to the breath taking outdoor patio area which will make one heck of a first impression .As soon as I made my initial steps onto the grounds I was left with a feeling as if took a trip back in time to the feel of the Old Tampa Cigar City days. While walking around inside I could visualize hearing El Lector reading famous novels to the cigar rollers working diligently on the factory floor. Thats how simply taken back I was by the Grand Cathedral... Heck even Carlos Fuente III has an office upstairs..... So if you truly love and enjoy the cigar lifestyle this should and must be on your bucket list while in the Tampa area.. trust me
