While visiting Philadelphia.....I asked around about where I should go to relax....unwind and enjoy a cigar. Several people told me the exact same place...SMoKE Cigar Lounge. I looked them up on my GPS...and off I went! Upon entering I was immediately greeted by Kosta and Eli who made me feel welcomed and right at home. Their selection of cigars while boutique were exquisite and complimented my pallet quite well.....shout out to Eli for his recommendations! The Lounge's decor was very calming and relaxing and the couches were as comfortable as slipping into your favorite old pair of jeans that you misplaced then re-found when you needed them the most! What made my time at SMoKE Cigar Lounge even more pleasant was how well it's members made me feel.....special shout out to Rashid and Erica.....(and that Basil Hayden's Toast) SMoKE Cigar Lounge epitomizes the LOUNGE aspect of a cigar lounge in every way.....my Steelers didn't win that night...but in meeting Kosta...Eli...and SMoKE Cigar Lounge.....it certainly made accepting the loss a little easier to swallow! If you're in Philadelphia....go visit SMoKE Cigar Lounge.....you absolutely won't regret it. The Disabled Vet

This place is really great! The lounge areas are very comfortable and the service by the hosts will make you feel right at home. I've been here twice with my wife and our friends and the cigar-tenders are knowledgeable, very courteous and always find good smokes for everyone. The cigar selection is not vast, but it is definitely curated by someone who knows their stuff. I'll go back just to find specific cigars they have that no one else seems to carry. Bring something to drink - they will provide the glasses, ice and just about anything else you need. Outstanding experience!

Smoke cigar lounge is the single best hookah bar I've been to in Philly. Our server - Will - was extremely attentive and awesome. The hostess - Rachel was awesome. The hookah was great. The environment was very low and relaxed vs the extremely hype vibe that many hookah bars in Philly are. I really appreciate how it ended our night

It was ok...hookah prices were a little expensive and, my friends said the flavor was weak. BYOB but $10pp to drink your own liquor. Ventilation needs to be better. Furniture and decor needs to be updated.

Came here with a friend not to long ago. Do have some critiques but they’re minor in relation to the overall experience we had. When I first walked in the selection of cigars seemed a little low. I was not familiar with most of what was available and described what I usually smoke to Eli. He made recommendations and I’m glad I took them. His recommendations were phenomenal smokes. Don’t be discouraged by the “small” looking selection when you walk in, especially if you know what you like as Eli can confidently recommend you something. Pricing was fair for the cigars we bought as well. Not over or under priced. The lounge itself was also unique. It isn’t one large general smoking lounge like most shops but rather semi-private sections with couches around tables. There is a members area for more open seating if that is of interest. I forgot my lighter and cutter on this trip so Eli provided those services. I say services because he cuts and also lights your cigar for you. While most shops have loose cutters and lighters floating around their lounge, this place did not. If you need to relight your cigar or make a second cut (for those that slobber all over your cigars), you’ll need to seek that service out. Eli functioned like a waiter in restaurant, checking on the tables and the likes. There are some additional notes worth mentioning. Members are exempt from these (which makes sense as they pay for their membership). Non members are held to a 2 cigar minimum per person to smoke in their lounge and BYOB is $10/per person so my friend and I decided to forgo our adult beverages that evening. The shop does offer more than just cigars here as well if cigars are not your thing. The 2 cigar minimum didn’t bother me as I smoke cigars regularly but my friend does not. If you do decide to become a member, non of the above will apply to you but will apply to any guests you have. My biggest takeaway was how well Eli knew the cigars he was selling. Through small talk, Eli shared that he thoroughly checks out every cigar he sells and knows everything about them, literally everything. He can tell you what the binder, filler, and wrapper are made of, where they came from, how long they’re aged, and how they’re made. To go with this extensive knowledge, he’ll further share how the different components will mix to create the flavor profile of the cigar. He understands the “why” behind the cigar and clearly communicate that to you. I’d definitely return to the shop if I’m in the area. It was different experience than what I typically encounter. My ideal experience is to remember my cutter/lighter (rookie move) and forgo the byob option here. I also think my experience would be completely different if I was here by myself rather than with my friend. Thanks for recommendations Eli as I have included those cigars into my personal humidors. Looking forward to your next recommendations.

Great cigar bar in Manayunk. Lots of space and tons of seating. Big screen tv's. BYO. $1.50 for every beer you bring. Bring your own glass or cup, (that's what I did). Good cigar collection. Laid back and chill with a good cross section of people; old school cigar afficianado's, and people just getting into the scene, its all here.

Philadelphia has a good handful of cigar purveyors scattered throughout the city and surrounding counties. Each of them have their own little charm. Some are store fronts for cigar manufacturers and distributors while others are more of a “club” with a retail component attached. Smoke is one of those rare locations that’s there because the owners just love cigars. Kosta and Eli have a combined lifetime of experience in all aspects of the cigar industry. They even have their own personal blends rolled for them to sell in Manayunk! They have relationships with many manufacturers and are able to provide some of the very best at affordable prices. They have an amazing selection of cigars, awesome hookah bar, super comfortable lounge and a great location. But, what keeps me going back is the non-pretentious, always welcoming, forever helpful and friendly information sharing customer service that each and every staff member presents to all of their customers. I walked through the doors of this place 3 years ago without knowing a single thing about cigars. They welcomed me since day one and I haven’t stopped going back. I appreciate that they are always willing to share their extensive knowledge, they don’t try to sell you the most expensive item, they go out of their way to make you feel appreciated and above all they operate with honesty and integrity. Put it to you this way. I literally drive past two prestigious cigar stores to go to Smoke above all others. So, if you’re looking for one of or if not the best cigar store in the Philadelphia area. Look no further than the experts at Smoke Manayunk.

The staff really know they information about cigars, can give you knowledge on the ones they carry anytime you ask. The atmosphere is very calm cool and collect. Huge area to bring friends and smoke cigars together, good selection of premium cigars. Very big space, can't stress enough the feeling of executive treatment once you come inside. Once we entered, the gentleman closed off the are for seating and asked if he could assist,, but was not very familiar with the medium blends and that same gentleman assumed that I (none of the ladies) didn't smoke because after we purchased our cigars. Eli with the good hair is a god! Cigar knowledge makes me shimmy! What a wonderful space. If you are a true cigar smoker this is a must visit. Convenient parking right across the street at a cheap lot and indoor/outdoor seating at the lounge along with hookah.

Was passing through Manayunk when i saw a cool rustic sign that said SMOKE. But also a sign advertising the stores own cigars. Being a cigar lover i popped in. The gentleman that greeted me was polite, chill, and knowledgeable. I asked him about the store brands and was specifically looking for lanceros. He gave me a full breakdown of the blends in each stick including the filler, binder, and wrapper which is just awesome service. His knowledge of cigars was clear and made the impression that much better. Ambiance seemed dim and relaxed. Loved the set up. Awesome little spot and would definately recommend if your in the area looking for some boutique smokes.

This place is easily one of the most accessible cigar lounges in Philly. Comfortable sofas set up conversation-style so its great for a group outing. The humidor has a nice selection and the service is excellent. They know their stuff. The BYOB is $6/person for wine or liquor and $1.50/beer bottle so add that to your expenses. Highly recommend by me & my friends.

Awesome place! New in town and they welcomed me like family. The humidor has one of the largest selections of boutique brands I've seen anywhere. Fantastic staff - I dealt with Eric and Eli, both of whom recommended some great cigars. I was also fortunate enough to have lively conversation with one of the owners - Kosta. The lounge itself is massive with a huge projector to watch the game and some of the comfiest seating around. The perfect spot to grab a stick in you're in Philly!

Konsta is the owner and has an incredible palate and is extremely helpful picking out the best Cigar for you. Hands down the best cigar bar in Philadelphia. I recently picked this hobby up and I'm glad I found this place. The staff are extremely friendly and more than willing to help when it comes to selecting a cigar in your price range and what you are feeling flavor wise. The staff treat you as if you have been a long time friend, and they always make me feel at home. The customers as well are all very social and easy to talk to. The owner Kosta is constantly improving the building, every time I come in (once a week) there is always something new. Case in point the lights under the bar and the new chalkboard wall. It's a great atmosphere to come and relax, I can easily spend 2 hours here and leave excited to come back. The couches are INSANELY comfortable and there are two HD projectors. I drive 40 minutes just to come here because I think it's just that great of a place. I recommend it to everyone I know who likes a good cigar or hookah!

Nice spot to relax and smoke. Great cigar collection they even have their own house brand. They also have hookahs. Con: after 8pm they charge you when you bring in your own bottle and ask for glasses, $6 per person is too much when it's byob and still have to pay if you want ice. A straight setup fee for glasses and ice would be better for customers. Also have to buy a cigar to sit and stay. Ventilation could be a little it better too

Went about two weeks ago for the first time. There were two special events going on so it was rather crowded. Can't beat the fact that it is BYOB. However, the smoke smell was really bad. Didn't really notice it until I left. I frequent cigar bars but the next day I got in my car it smelled like I was still in the cigar lounge. The smell was really strong and got in my clothes way more than normal. Not sure if it was because they also do hookah there or if it was just really crowded and didn't have the ventilation to support it. I'm willing to give it one more shot because I did have a good time. However, if I experience the strong smoke smell the next day in my personal items, it'll be my last time.

Nice variety of tobacco, nice staff, and good vibe. However, just because it's a smoke shop doesnt mean you shouldn't invest in a more effective ventilation system. I love the smell but my guest whom I brought in for hookah could barely stand being in the room. Smoking is smoking but having cigars deafen the room makes the hookah loose flavor and defeats the purpose of hookah being a slightly better alternative to actual tobacco smoke.

Smoke is a very special place! You can come in with a group of friends and have a blast actually being able to spend time with each other (which is hard to find in the crowded college bars in Manayunk) or come in by yourself and spark up a conversation with one of the awesome regulars. I've spent many days and nights in Smoke with my boyfriend and have left with some new friends and really fun memories. Sam (male), Sam (female), and Spencer are the greatest employees and if you're lucky enough to become friendly with the owner, Kosta, you'll probably end up with a lifelong friend. Kosta remembers everyone that comes through the door and always introduces himself to people he's never seen. A kid walked down to Smoke for a cigar during a snow storm and Kosta offered to drive him home just because his heart is as big as his beard (big). Smoke is the best, great cigars, BYOB > bars, comfy couches and awesome people ***drops mic***
