Best cigar shop in center city Philadelphia. The manager Anthony and his entire team are a brilliant bunch of highly knowledgeable guys. If I ever have a question or need they are always there to assist. The shop has a vast selection of sticks and a nice little lounge with a good set of regulars in the back. Also they have regular events and amazing specials when different brand owners and reps come to town. So keep an eye out for those dates on their IG profile. If looking for a new spot to buy cigars, and maybe even stay a while you can’t go wrong!

I love going here. I think it love it too much actually. The gents there are always super helpful and friendly and it's just overall an inviting atmosphere. It's not at all pretentious, even if you're new to cigars and only spending a small sum to get started. They have a great selection of cigars of all types and styles but also great accessories like cutters, lighters, etc. I keep forgetting to ask for everyone's name to become better acquainted for when I visit, but this review is for them all. Hopefully post-Covid the upstairs cigar bar will open up again and I can check it out. A+

Very pleased. Fresh cigars, super fast order processing and accuracy, UPS delivery also a plus. I had a Padron 1926 stick with some mold once, they refunded it with no fanfare and the customer service by Jackie was not only pleasant but very efficient.

I reall love this cigar shop. It has been a great place for me to find great cigars for a good price . I do not visit the store even though I live in the Philadelphia PA area. The Pandemic is keeping me from going to certain places . I have ordered my cigar needs on line and had no problems receiving them. But I also dont use USPS either, because we are having mail delivery problems. So to be honest I highly recommend this store.

I had a great experience at Holt's Cigar company. First of all the sales person Michael was extremely knowledgeable about what I wanted but more importantly he o py sold me what I needed. And told me to come back when I'm ready to upgrade. He could have sold me a ton of stuff, but instead he treated me like a real person and was teaching me what was important. I'll be back for sure. The shop is also huge and has an amazing selection and a nice room in the back to smoke.

On a recent business trip to Philadelphia, I stopped in to Holt's for a visit and was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful cigar and pipe tobacco shop. Carmen Cipriano, Sales Associate, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The humidor is quite large and the selection and prices are very good. The lounge in the back of the shop was comfortable and welcoming. Great shop!

This is the best cigar store I've ever been to. The employees, when asked, give AWESOME advice. Advice at almost every other cigar store is awful and "high pressure". I can send the wife, and she comes back with a bunch of cigars I'd of picked out myself. Highly recommended.

Great cigar store in Center City. The front of the store is a showroom for humidors, pens, etc. Walking back you enter the walk-in humidor. The tobacconists were very friendly and made excellent recommendations. The very back of the store has a smoking lounge. Looking forward to my next trip.

Realistically 4.5 stars Great location / competitive prices / professional staff The best value for buying cigars is of course the internet.. However Holts does a great job being competitive with brick and mortar stores, especially with those in Philadelphia. Holts creates its niche as posh cigar shop / lounge. The humidor is top notch - I have yet to get a cigar from Holts that has been dry, but the lounge is a little less impressive. The furniture shows its age and frequently the cigar lounge is overcrowded. The staff is great - very helpful at making recommendations to people who come looking for cigars as gifts or to change up their own personal taste.

Just order a box of 15 Montecristo Artisan Series for 89.00. They cost like 280 a box and I ordered a sampler pack for 49.00. Which is 3 5-packs of cigars you get to pick from a selection. I also got Montecristos in my sample pack also. Free shipping I ordered on Monday and I got them on Thursday and I stay I'm Florida. Amazing company and great deals. Holts please don't change a thing about your prices. A1 company and prices, hands down.

Wonderful, and polite professional people wwork at Holts! I am going to Townsend Rd. Monday since the store on 15th and Walnut has not opened because of the virus! It may be a challenge getting there after at least 5 to six years! Got to get my Holts smoke on,CIGARS!

Upstairs, the door is just the right of the main cigar store. Great ventilation with every whiskey known to mankind. I sat at the bar, had a double JW Black lable enjoyed my smoke, Cuban Romeo y Jolietta. Outstanding cigar, great break. Upstairs doesnt open until 3pm.
