Wonderful place in Manhattan and very welcoming people. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Jesus Martinez, but I send my greetings to him and his staff from Montreal, while I'm enjoying a Flatiron Maduro with a rhum from Guadeloupe. Very good construction (pictures don't lie) and pleasant smoke. Look forward to coming back in NYC to taste their other puros.

Was showed mad love. The place isn't really big but the service is great. It's one of those spots where you can chill all day. Great atmosphere. Wish I could have been there when they are rolling the cigars. I saw the video about this place and had to make it 1 of my stops. Was not disappointed. Dude hooked me up and even gave me a smaller hand rolled to smoke on the way out the door. Thanks again for making a brother feel welcomed. Really appreciate it

I hired Martinez Cigars for my wedding in Sept '21. John, Jesus, and their cigars were amazing, i couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone loved the cigars! John and Jesus were both great with communication over 2 years, and offered a very reasonable price. They made it as easy as possible for me, which is really appreciated while trying to plan a wedding. They were on time and their presentation was awesome. Their custom bands were great too! I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I stumbled on this little neighborhood cigar shop back in 1990 and remember it as a nice little factory shop with friendly people and great cigars and you could hang out and smoke and watch the roller work. It had tremendous character. Well I looked for it online and was happy to see they are still there. They have quite a selection of blends and sizes. I placed an order for some samplers (I prefer torpedoes and larger ring gauges with medium to full body and natural wrappers) which I received several days later in nice boxes and well packed. Wow are these high quality cigars. Perfectly rolled and perfect even burn and long tight white ash. I’m a regular Davidoff smoker and I must say these are equal in quality. Obviously made by a master roller. No soft spots, perfectly even burn right through the entire smoke. The flavor is full and satisfying. The combustion is excellent. I’m sharing some with friends for NYE. They will become a proud part of my regular rotation and I’m going to be sure to stop by the shop and meet the craftsmen there.

Using Martinez Cigars for our wedding was the best absolute best choice!! I had the opportunity to work with John and he was absolutely phenomenal. From the second I inquired, I knew I came to the right place. He was so sweet from our first conversation, patient, and professional. He really made me feel like I was part of the family. He showed up to our venue, did his thing and it was AMAZING. People are still talking about the cigar roller and the amazing experience it was. He made sure my husband had plenty of cigars to bring along on our honeymoon. Our relatives keep calling to ask if they can have some more. All in all it was a wonderful experience and we would use them again in a heartbeat!!

Walked about 30 min out of our way to check out this hand rolled cigar shop. It was absolutely hands down worth the walk. Customer service was top notch and the cigars are excellently priced. One of the best smokes I have had to date. If you enjoy a great cigar this is the place for it.

Last week I visited good old NYC. I believe that half of the time I was @Martinez Cigar on the 7th Avenue/29 Street. If you a hand made fine cigar lover - this is HEAVEN!!!! I mean it, HEAVEN! Super cool Will, Jesus Martinez, Momo, and the entire rollers team are AMAZING! Best cigars I smoke ever, extraordinary quality, wonderful Dominican hospitality, heaven.... Not bad at all. I stopped in and purchased a few well rolled cigars. Excellent. The place itself is okay, but as far as being a lounge and smoking, not recommended. There are only 2 chairs and the NYC pedestrian traffic can be a tad distracting. The cigars and staff are great.

We strolled into this place and it was like heaven! The people were so friendly and kind. It was so much fun visiting, my buddy and I were there for a week and we went back multiple times.Great atmosphere and great people. Way better than the Cigar Inn! The cigars are cheap in price but the quality is never to be matched. Their 6 dollar cigar was far bettor than the Museum cigar I had at the Cigar Inn that was 45 dollars! I will definitely go back here every time I'm in the city!!! I RECOMMEND YOU GO TOO!

Wonderful place to visit, atmosphere very friendly, the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. The cigars are SUPERB! They have 3 stations right there with artisans rolling cigars as you watch. I bought two boxes of cigars that were better than cigars I've paid twice and more as much for. I've been 3 times. The first I didn't know much and felt intimidated. They asked what I like and I didn't really know. They were very nice and accommodating and suggested a mild cigar, I bought it and left. The next two times I was a bit more confident and immediately felt like I was part of the family. You should go with a little time on you hands and hang out there for a bit. Jesus Martinez is the owner and is usually there. They have so much pride in the shop!
