Im so glad the storefront is open again. I haven't been here since everything shut down last year and its good to see this place open for walk in business. The selection of cigars remains the best that I have seen outside of the city. Every new release I read about over the last year and every 2020 Top Cigar was in stock and at fantastic prices. The staff as always was attentive even when they were unloading stock. They actually drop what they are doing to put the customer first over their daily tasks. I also like the new set up and the store clerk was right it adds more class to this place and it prorects the high end items. This is one of the few places in the area that I buy cigars from in person and it will stay that way. The staff is knowlegeable even the lady that seems to have just started knows more about cigars than some workers at other places in the immediate area of Metairie. Great Place

All right all right! These guys are opening up on monday, after a bunch of construction. I give them five stars for their selection, they had my favorite cigar which I travel the country looking for. I normally order my cigars online fm Neptune cigar.com, but they've been out of my favorite selection of la floor Dominicana and have been unfriendly after all my years of patronage. But, Somehow, after visiting a half dozen cigar sellers in NO, Habana Port Cigar Merchants had several boxes of the most exclusive and delicious cigar in the world. I was very pleased that they took my call. They were very accommodating and told me their inventory before I drove the 5.2 mi from Bourbon Street to their location to retrieve the most delicious smoke of my life. I purchased a box, 20, of my favorite smoke. Curbside! :-) I'm very thankful to have found these guys. I wish them well, and I hope they maintain the love and integrity that us cigar aficionados appreciate. Thank you so much gents! I will definitely be doing mail order and or returning when I'm back in the area. The only reason why I did not give them five stars, was because I couldn't get inside and see the beautiful humidor and decor. If I was to start a cigar store, I would call it humidor and decor. Just kidding. Not really. :-) -happysmoker

Arturo is the man when it comes to cigars he is very knowledgeable and friendly. Have not been inside the shop cause of remodeling and covid but can’t wait to go. They have a large selection even the opus X which is so hard to find will definitely make many morel trips thank you Arturo

Great store that is fully and neatly stocked with more cigars than, unfortunately, I’ll ever have the opportunity to smoke. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind to take the time to really tell you specifics about each cigar. They even know what cigars I want before I do.

I can't speak from experience since I'm a new comer to cigars, but I can speak to customer service. Today I went looking for advise for cigars for a college expecting his first baby boy. He happens to like cigars from Nicaragua, so I rushed there at 9:30 am and patiently waited until 9:45 or so. I proceeded to politely wait for him to set up the store and asked if he sold cigars from Nicaragua. His reply was just to gesture around the store as if to say to "take a look." He made no effort to be helpful and seemed almost annoyed at my questions. I gave it 2 stars because it is a nice looking store and maybe he was just having an unusually bad day. @@@UPDATE@@@@@ I went back now 2020 and have made it my go to store.

Friendly, helpful staff; good recommendations on cigars. I especially appreciate that they set up a table outside to comply with COVID-19 regulations! Even with the inconvenience of that the service is reasonably quick!

The pictures do this place no justice. You have to see it for yourself. Very broad selection of brands and flavors. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Great, competitive pricing very approachable guys. Only short a smoking room, master roller, and bar, but it's not needed for this place. You will not regret making this you snatch and grab cigar spot

This place is awesome to get cigars from. The owner and Sons are super nice, polite and very helpful. Always have a great selection I started buying from Habana Port since I moved down from Miami 8 years ago when they were in Covington. Now I shop at their Metairie store.

I can't say enough about this store! This store is in New Orleans. I am from Canada and stopped by. Great prices. Incredible service. The owner and staff spend time with us. They gave us information about cigars and pricing. Great people just to talk to. I would highly recommend stopping by. We stayed in bywater and took a 25 minute Lyft to the store. So glad we did! Next time in New Orleans I'm going back.

Roberto is extremely well versed in cigars. The selection is amazing. There are some hard to find sticks hidden in this place. Great place to go if you need to get more for your humidor. Just wish there was a smoking area.

I wanted to take some cigars with me back to U.K. and this shop has an amazing selection. Roberto was really helpful making suggestions and spending time with me. Nothing was too much trouble, I can highly recommend a visit here. Parking is available too.

My boyfriend smokes cigars. I saw that they had lampe berger fragrances and wicks. I asked the young associate what was wrong with my wick, as I did not snuff it. They are ceramic. He made a snide comment and rang up the new wick I ordered. If you can't answer my question, don't answer with a snide comment.
