Superbowl !!! I learned how to smoke cigars. Rule #1: Don't inhale, Rule #2 Don't swallow 😜. So I had to take some pics of the "cigar room" for the lay people. For those of you who are familiar with cigar smoking, it is the humidor room. The temperature is kept out of perfect level. Normally, food is not served at this location. However, today is Super Bowl Sunday, and in honor of the celebration, there are a light bite that are available. Soda and water are available for purchase for only $1. You can't beat that price even at that dollar store. The young lady in the pic, Alice, is the one who gave me the two rules of smoking cigars!

The owner was very helpful for the new enthusiast of the cigar world. He explan and guided to the perfect selection. The space offered indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely run, great selection and friendly people. They carry various name brand favorites, such as Padron, Davidoff and Fuente, as well as other smaller, obscure brands (Houston favorite - Bocock Bros.). The pricing is standard, however the service and expertise of the employees is outstanding. If I lived in Houston, I would definitely have inquired about a membership. Overall, a quality place to enjoy a cigar within the Galleria area.

Love everything about it, my home lounge !!! Always treat with the utmost respect, the cigar culture is truly at its best here. Great leather seating in the public and private sectors. Very comfortable outdoor seating also. If you get hungry there's menus of all the great eatery that surrounds the place. Gotta love options that they provide for the customers.

Stopped by last night with a cigar aficionado friend and had a great time. I'm surprised by the comments about the staff; there was a very kind lady at the counter, and a gentleman who not only assisted us in the selection of our cigars, but was also running around, taking care of business around the place, non-stop the entire time we were there. I had a few meetings in their lounge and have had a great experience each time. The lounge has a classic feel with lots of solid wood, dark tones, and dim lighting. Fine cigar smell fills the air and it’s comfortable enough to watch a game and elegant enough for a professional conversation. I have not visited the retail side, this review is based on the private lounge.

Nice location. Well ventilated with a nice selection of cigars to choose from and helpful staff. This was my first time going bit would definitely go again. Inside and outside seating available. Talked to one of the workers and was informed that purchases over $50 can be shipped anywhere nationwide for free so that is a plus. No food or drinks available that I saw but its near The Galleria so there were plenty of options around.

Great store with a fine selection of cigars and accessories. Relaxing leather furniture inside and comfortable furniture on the patio. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating. They even loved my assistance dog. Oh yeah, this place is huge inside with lots of private humidors and a members only lounge. Elegant without pretense and refined without judgement; a place where all are welcomed regardless of economic status. I’ve shopped here on and off for several years and is my most favorite cigar store of all that I’ve visited.

The staff are all knowledgeable and very helpful. The thing I like is their rewards program. Every $10 spent you get 1 pt. Once you get 10 pts you receive a $10 credit. I mean any other cigar spot in Houston not doing this. So I figure why not I'm going to spend the same amount of money somewhere else why not get the credit.

This is a great cigar store and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The humidor is nicely stocked, they have all of the big brands and some cigar lines that are difficult to find. The prices are typically about a dollar higher than some of the other stores in town but still very competitive. They definitely aren't the most expensive in town. I highly reccomend you take a visit here.

Discovered this place in Oct 2018. This was my first time ever buying a cigar so I was clueless on what to get. Before walking thru the door there is a nice patio lounge area for guest to relax. As I entered, I was greeted by two men behind the cash register. Sorry I do not know their names. But I told one of them that I needed help picking a cigar. He walking me into a cellar filled with an overwhelming selection of cigars. He made a recommendation and I feel in love with it. They also have a lounge type atmosphere with TVs throughout, where you can enjoy your cigar. Will definitely visit more often!

The please is huge inside, if you have enough clout or money to have a locker then you have just about made it in life. This place in one of those place you have to see at least once in your life. Came in to buy a Christmas gift, completely clueless about cigars and not knowing what to expect. Gerson was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and took his time helping me gather the perfect box of cigars. He asked questions about the person I was buying for and even packaged them nicely in tobacco leaves and a cigar box, with a lighter. I’d recommend them to anyone!

I took my dad there to get him some proper cigars since he decided to take up cigar smoking at 86 years old and I didn't want him smoking el cheapos any more. There was a great selection but I think it was a bit overwhelming for a novice. Staff was friendly. It's a byob place, but they don't have ice or glasses to drink from and you have to leave your bottle in your vehicle. My dad said he'd like to go back on a nice evening and sit outside with a brandy and a cigar.

More looks than speaking...but a great spot to still hang out and smoke. Open late. You can definitely do you here. Be you. More on the bright and live side. I'd recommend to go and try a few times to get the different feels.

This is the only place you should ever go if you're looking for cigars in Houston. And if you're not in Houston but close enough, Stogies is worth the drive. They've got the second largest humidor in the nation, a selection of cigars beyond your imagination AND great people that will take the time to help you select the right cigar(s) you're looking for. They've got lots of seating as well so you can enjoy your cigar. Comfy leather couches, tables and even card tables. The coolest part - the private members only area. You get your own locker, seating twice that of the open area. Private card rood and lots of TVs. They even have a couple of small business booths with desks where you can work and enjoy your cigar. A bar with all you need for byob as well.

My husband came in after eating dinner. I loved the setup right when we walked in and were greeted right away. We walked into the humidor and the angels sang. This room is enormous! We weren’t sure where to begin. There’s no descriptions so just go for it. If you’re not sure, ask one of the employees. I talked to a lady there and she knew her stuff. She directed me to several that were great for me and told me about a “buttery” stick. It’s not a style I normally enjoy but decided to try it anyway. She said if I didn’t enjoy it, just bring it back and she’d get me a different one. Awesome! We saw a large group enjoying one of the bigger sitting areas in front of a tv and a few other people scattered around. There was also space outside. After sitting inside and feeling a little too distracted with TVs to talk, we headed outside and sat with strangers. We were welcomed and chatted with two men. Stogies began to close down but they never rushed us out. They kept the TVs on even while several were outside smoking still. Great place, nice customers, and knowledgeable staff. We’ll be back some time.

Update from my initial review. Stogies is without question one of the best cigar shops in the country. The attention to detail, and uncompromised level of service is hard to find. I live an hour away, but have no problem making the drive to this incredible shop. Jorge and his team always treat me like a VIP, and I've seen it done time and time again with lots of customers.

Great selection. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Probably the largest humidor in Houston. If you can't find a cigar here you like you probably can't find one. There are plenty of TVs to watch whatever sporting event you'd like. There's plenty of parking although it gets a big crowded during dinner time do the restaurant that shares the parking lot.

I came in with my two non-smoker friends and they had a good time lounging around while I shopped around. Said the problem was on their end and would honor the price for me. Didn’t realize their free shipping on orders over $49 would be two day! Totally surprised when my order showed up just shortly after placing it. The packing was extraordinary. The quality of the packing materials far exceed what other on line retailers use. They even threw in a Stogies cutter. I was surprised by all of this. Purchased a box of the Herrera H-Town broadleaf lanceros. Give me a lancero wrapped in a Connecticut Broadleaf maduro and I’m in heaven. Without a doubt this lancero is the best tasting broadleaf I’ve had the pleasure of smoking and that includes Tatuaje, The Tabernacle, and others! Really pleased with Stogies! I’ll be back...

As a contributor to one of the world's most renoun cigar magazines and an author...I cannot tell a lie; Stogie's is the best cigar establishment in the country (I've been all over the U.S). Jorge has always been good to me and my clients. These guys and gals (Love you Jenny) are so sincere, friendly; and above all have such extensive knowledge. When I'm home in Houston, this is my home base 98% of the time (yes, I've visited other ships and lounges but none compare to my Stogie's [family]. Great prices.
