Found this place using google and decided to give them a try with fixing my boyfriend’s flat tire. Got there right when they opened on Saturday morning and were seen right then as well. No waiting at an auto shop is rare in my experience, so that was awesome! Friendly and knowledgeable staff was able to quickly assess the tire flat and fix it. Overall, I would recommend this place for your tires needs.

I had two recent trips to Dominion tire and was very happy with the services provided. The first was to remove and plug a nail from my tire - Ish was super nice and helpful. And the second time was to get a new set of tires. Josh was knowledgeable and helped me pick the right set, then got my tires switched out the same day - I think he even stayed late to finish the job. The total price very reasonable and I highly recommend.

Took my Tesla Model 3 Performance here to get winter tires put on. Got several bids and this place was the cheapest. They ordered them and they were delivered and installed the following day. They let me watch and learn about the machinery involved. There just happened to be another Tesla in front of me that they were working on as well. They were incredibly savvy and efficient. I was here 10 minutes before closing time, the guys were so professional and kind. They saw my frustration. They told me to cool it, we'll take care of you. They put air in my tire and they plugged it in for free as well. When I said they got rid of the stress, I was happy afterwards. The team is stellar and stacked with really laidback and easygoing professionals. The customer service was spot-on. I called to have my tires and rims replaced. I didn’t have an appointment and they were able to get me in within 10 minutes. Although they informed me that it would take about two hours to complete the job, they completed it in 35 minutes. Please note that this location is off a highly populated road and the parking lot is extremely tiny. Don’t stress, with patience everything will work out. Also, if you are required to wait, there is an adjacent coffee shop that has decent food and friendly service.

Not only did the Dominion hook me up with tires $100 installed less than the competition, they welcomed my older truck with enthusiasm and excitement to work on. True gearheads. Don’t waste your time going to those fancy places like Just tires, mr tire to mention a few, they don’t care about ur business as much as this guys here! We needed four new tires for our Audi S5. After dealing with another tire place closer to us, who were inept at best (couldn’t find the replacement tires we needed and when they did they doubled the originally quoted price) and then even considering the outrageous dealer pricing, we found Dominion Tires. We had such an efficient, effortless experience at a very competitive price, we decided to have them replace all four tires on our Audi Q5 as well. Both times they were able to have the tires delivered and installed within a day. Great customer service, entertaining and quality technician. Dominion Tires was courteous, professional, and prompt. I needed to swap out the factory installed summer performance tires on my 2022 X5. I originally had an appointment across the street at Arlington Auto Care. Arlington Auto care was short staffed and did not keep their word on when could install my new all season tires. I waited over 3 hours at Arlington Auto Care only to have them tell me they couldn’t get to my car! I went across the street to Dominion and man, it was a world of difference—professional, courteous, and they kept their word on being able to install my new tires in an hour. I will definitely be going back to Dominion for all my tire needs…they know what they’re doing, are honest, and reliable.

I had a great experience with Dominion Tire of Arlington! I had a flat on my way to DC. I was able to get the spare on, but I didn’t want to drive the 2 hours home with the spare tire. I found Dominion because they are close to my friend’s house. They determined that my tire was not reparable and found me a replacement tire and mounted it — and they did all that in less than two hours! And they didn’t try to upsell me or make me buy a super-expensive tire. They found one that matched the other tires on the car and that was that. I really appreciated the courtesy, honesty and professionalism that everyone in the shop showed me. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

These guys helped me out so much. I had a slow leak due to a nail in my tire. I took my car into a nearby shop (Mr. Tire) which said they couldn’t fix it due to the nail being too close to the rim of the tire and proceeded to tell me I needed 2 new tires and an alignment (for a small fee of $700 of course :) ). I brought my car here and they were so quick and helpful. They assured me they could plug the tire and send me on my way. And that’s what they did. Thanks for your help!!

2022-05-03. Ordered rear tires (P30535ZR19) for my 2017 Shelby GT350. They find tires for my car even when the local Ford dealer cannot. Tires are delivered and installed in 48 hours. Awesome service! 2021-08-17. Ordered front tires (P29535ZR19) for my 2017 Shelby GT350. The clerk was very friendly and professional in ordering the tires, contacting me when they arrived, and assisting me when I came in for service. I road tested the tires this weekend and they were perfectly balanced. I will return to order my rear tires when they are ready to be replaced. 👍🏽👍🏽

Best tire shop in the region! They will bend over backward to help you repair/replace tires as quickly as possible. Able to get me “hard to find” tire size/type when others (e.g., Costco) could not during height of Covid.. Plugged a leaking tire on the spot, even on a busy day. Employees are helpful, friendly, courteous and no nonsense if they don’t have what you need, etc. Will also provide great recos on other car maintenance shops.

My tire was leaking air around the rim. After taking it to several places including Pohanka Lexus who couldn’t fix it I found Dominion Tires. I came in to replace a flat tire on my Golf R, which was quickly taken care of. I was amazed they had the right tire in stock. While I was there, the technicians suggested I might want to consider a sturdier, higher-performing tire for the heavily pot-holed streets in DC. The next week they replaced all four tires, giving me a credit for the one replaced the week before. I wasn’t expecting to experience much of a difference, but it’s been night and day! The car rides smoother, handles better, and takes bumps more easily than I could have imagined just from a tire change. Thank you Dominion!

Had a slow leak in a tire. Called ahead and was told I could come right in. My husband took the car in and they took it back right away. They found the nail and patched the tire all in under an hour. Cost about $50 which was much better than the cost of a new tire. Very happy with the quick service!

I was happy to find out that it is a family business because they are going the extra mile to really bring great service because they have a reputation to lose. I got a new set of tires, watched them putting them on and was even offered to bring a new windshield wiper and they would put it on for free. Having bought tires at a big chain stores before, I can tell you that this certainly would not happen in those. It opened my eyes to the value of small family operated businesses and what great service they bring to us. Oh, not to forget: Included are all nail repairs and rotations, and the balancing is that good that no further alignment is necessary; how cool is that? I found my tire place for good. I woke up to a flat tire about a month ago and chose Dominion Tires of Arlington after reading the reviews. I have never more pleased with the attention and service from every person at the shop. I strongly recommend this business to anyone needing their services. I was a walk-in as soon as they opened and they got me right in, quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered me a new tire (it is an odd size/type), and installed it at my convenience within a couple of days. Throughout the process, every person was extremely courteous and the communications were frequent and informative. They even credited me back some money for a mistake made by their supplier in tire price quote rather than pass the cost along to me. If I ever need any service in the future that this business provides, they are my first, last, and only business that I will trust to work on my car. They are honest in their dealings and really care about their customers.

Amazing customer service, friendly staff, fast and high quality repair! I somehow drove over a vape pen that pierced right through my tire (still have no idea how that happened), I thought I would have to buy a new tire but they repaired the hole perfectly at a reasonable price ($45) and now my tire is good as new! I hit a curb hard and blew my front passenger tire out completely last week. Though I was initially disappointed to hear that Juan (the owner of T&J Auto next door) no longer owned the tire company there, I spoke with Glenn and he assured me that my car would be in excellent hands under the new owner, Ishmael. So, I had my car towed there after hours on Tuesday, and when I called to see if they had had a chance to look at it at about 11 on Wednesday morning, I was told that the car was already completely finished and ready for me to pick up! Ishmael himself got on the phone and explained everything perfectly, and answered all my questions patiently and in detail. I was able to pick it up that afternoon, and everything is working perfectly. All for a great price. (And as someone who unfortunately has car and tire “incidents” on a somewhat regular basis, I know what constitutes excellent service and great prices—they were excellent on all counts.) So, thank you Ishmael for a wonderful tire replacement experience. I’ll definitely be back! And thank you to Glenn and Juan for continuing to run T&J Auto, the fantastic auto repair and body shop next door. My service here a few days ago was superb. I had a slow leaking tire that caught a nail earlier in the day. The owner immediately told me that I could come in to have the tire inspected. As soon as I arrived I was immediately assisted. The gentlemen that worked on my vehicle, did excellent work and have great attention to detail. I did not have to wait long. Ishmael and crew deserve 10 stars! Not only did he tell me that he could service my car immediately, when I didn't get there within the time frame he expected ( because I was further away than I thought ) he called me to check on my safety. Once I got there, I was in and out in 15 minutes with an explanation about proper tire pressures. No high pressure sales, but a full explanation of why I should probably get two new tires and then he sold me great tires at an extremely reasonable price.

Dominion Tires took care of a leak in my front driver's side tire on my old, 2013 Tesla P85 Model S. I had driven down with my kids to see my mom in Arlington, and had developed a tire leak where I had to refill every other day. I called Tesla first, but they had no service availability in the area for a few days, and I was leaving the next morning. I wanted this fixed immediately. Dominion scheduled me within the hour. The tire guru, Marley, quickly identified the leak, and patched it in about half an hour. He pointed out some other issues, like water ingress in the wheel's lug nuts that caused them to expand and not fit the standard wrench, and excessive wear on the inside edge of the repaired tire. Anyways, Dominion was very responsive, identified and fixed the problem efficiently and effectively - and they got me home to the Boston area with no issues. Great folks! Highly recommended.

These guys are truly life savers. I got off work and noticed my tire was completely flat. I was completely bummed out of course, and started calling around to various tire shops in the Arlington area. None of shops said they had the tire I needed in stock at the moment. It wasn’t until I called Dominion Tires that I was saved. They let me know on the phone they may be able to repair my tire versus me having to buy a new one. Since my spare tire is bad, they were able to get me a tow truck to my location in less than 10 MINUTES! The tow truck driver, James was awesome and was the best tow truck driver I ever met. They patched my tire in like 5 minutes and I was back on the road again. They also gave me recommendations for the best tires for my vehicle, and let me know they had the best prices in town. THIS is customer service. They turned what could have been a bad day into something GREAT. I was back on my side of town an hour away before sun down. None of the other surrounding tire shops around went the extra mile like these guys did, so I will continue to support Dominion Tires of Arlington and spread the word around!!! I don't usually take the time to write reviews like this, but, my experience with Dominion Tires of Arlington, and with Ishmael and Josh, was absolutely great. My front right tire went flat and after searching several locations nearby, I decided to try to patch it instead of replacing both front tires, which were way past their expiration date. Ishmael was frank about how the tire could not be repaired, but replaced, and offered some suggestions for tires for replacement that they had on sale. I got a great deal on the tires, and most importantly, the wait time was only around 30 minutes to replace the front tires. However, my story does not end there - I had a slow leak in my rear tire and when Josh tried to fix it, it turned out that I had 3 separate nails embedded in the relatively new tire. Ishmael explained that such a tire could not be repaired either, but, he did not pressure me to buy new tires for the rear or to upsell or to put any pressure. He explained the situation, and I decided to just get new tires for the rear as well. This took only about another 20 minutes or so, and since the tires were on sale, I got a GREAT deal on nice Vredestein tires. Best of all, I didn't have to deal with the ridiculous wait time and uneven, sometimes-rude service at the Costco tire center, and I actually saved more money at Dominion than had I gone to Costco. Most importantly, Ishmael and Josh have zero trace of shadiness, they were very customer-friendly, polite, down to earth, and explained things for me to understand. People have had bad experiences with local shops and getting ripped off, but the entire experience at Dominion was great. Great prices, short wait times, and for me, very close to my office. If you are in need of tires, don't go to the big stores - go to Dominion - I guarantee you will not be disappointed. VERY HIHGLY RECOMMENDED! Needed tires replaced. I ordered 4 tires online and had them shipped to myself, and just needed a tire shop to balance them and install them. Multiple other shops couldn’t do a same day appointment, even if I came earlier in the day. The owner was the first person I talked to, and he was friendly and told me he’d take care of it. Adding some new review content. My 10 month old tire got destroyed by a piece of metal and Dominion Tires makes sure that the warranty was in place and that a new tire same make and size was ready for me within 24 hours. They handled all the paperwork and thanks to covid my mileage was under the limit for a free replacement. The only cost was to change the tire balance and install. These guys are tire guys. They get it and they only replace what is needed. They evaluated my minivan that day as well and agreed with me that I only ended two tires not all four and stated as I knew that the backs were really good. I appreciate the honest approach, speed and pricing that they work hard to come by. They are responsive and they know what they do best which is getting people tires getting them on and out the door. Not the sales hype you get from the chains. I asked them if i Needed an alignment in the van which I knew I did and they said they would recommend one but immediately said they can't do them in the shop. Once I get those two tires on I'm going to ask for their recommendation as to who does the best alignments locally because they continue to impress me and steer me in the right direction. No pun intended. Spent hours looking for the tires I needed for my fusion and fortunately Dominion Tires were able to help. Not only did they help but they took into account that we are in a pandemic and also helped with the price. I prefer to shop and use local service centers and they get a 5 Star rating from my family. I called several national tire centers (12 to be exact) locally in Arlington and they all said they couldn't provide me with the tires that I preferred due to the fact that they would need to be ordered and it could take 3-7 business days. I found that strange and when I called Dominion and spoke with the owner he said let me call my distributor, I'll call you right back. He did exactly what he stated, had my tires ordered within 10 min, scheduled an appointment time for me the next day. And then followed up the following day to tell me the tires were in and to go ahead bring the car in. No sitting and waiting for hours on end. I went in for a tire change in May because one of my tires was gradually losing air. I was assisted by Ishmael, who was super helpful and courteous and gave me a review of the condition of my tires. He took the time to show me that a couple of my tires were balding, in addition to the major nail in one of my tires. I was due for an inspection and was grateful for his thoroughness because I decided then and there to change the tires that he recommend I change and stayed with the ones he said were still in good condition (because I had replaced them more recently). Then when I asked, he gave me a great referral to another local spot in Arlington to get my inspection done! He even waived a fee that saved me some $$ and although I did not expect that at all and insisted to pay all my payment he kindly declined. The visit to Dominion Tires was easy and straight forward, they are efficient, knowledgeable, and they take care of their clients. I get tires mounted and balanced at least 5 times a year across all or my cars including race compound tires. This was my first time coming to Dominion and it was worth it. Very kind folks that don't talk down to you and go above and beyond to give you what you asked for.

Found Dominion Tires thru a google search. It was close by and I needed a tire fix. So happy I took a chance on Dominion! They figured out the problem immediately, explained why they could not patch the tire but before trying to sell me a new tire he suggested I check for a warranty with the dealer as my car was only 4 months old. This place was awesome !!! Ismael (the owner) really took care of us - and we weren’t even looking seriously about buying tires for a 2006 Mazda 3 car !!! We went in to inquire about issues with front end struts and when Ismael found out one of our tires had a possible leak, he took care of us by checking the tire for a flat as well as the valve. Came to this place after my wife recently bought a new set of tires for her Lexus. Met the owner and he helped me select new tires so that my car could pass inspection. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his business. Told me I could bring my car in for the life of the tires and they will rotate and rebalance them for free. Even if I only do this 3 times that’s conservatively $100 savings. Same thing with tire plugs. Run over a nail? Don’t spend $20 at a gas station, take it up here for free. Had me out of there in half hour. Prices are competitive too. I hope these guys do well.

Finally accepting that my tires had rotted into an undrivable condition, I went to several tire shops in Arlington to see about replacing them. Of these, Dominion Tires appeared to be far and away the most straightforward and economical. To be fair, I’m worthless when it comes to car repair, so they could have been taking me for a ride (although it was substantially less expensive ride than the place down the street, that tried to hawk me a set of bargain bin “house-brand” tires for over $200 more after installation and unnecessary incidentals) I didn’t ask for (and they didn’t try to push me on) any extraneous bits like insurance or tire pressure monitors, so I can’t speak to any of those superfluaneous bits. They pulled off the old tires and installed the new ones in an expeditious manner and got me back to my own business with a minimum of overhead or typical auto-shop runaround. Like I said, I’m hardly an expert, but they’ve got my recommendation, and if my truck somehow hasn’t cratered by the time I need new tires, ill be going back for the replacement set. As a sidebar, the parking lot can get crowded and congested very quickly. Although it's north Arlington, so not having that issue would be damn near miraculous.

Okay, here’s the short review: excellent service, reasonable prices, and genuine honorable customer service. I absolutely recommend this place, and Ishmael, who runs it. The longer story is that I called around looking for four new tires for my older model Prius. Ishmael was so helpful, not-pushy, knowledgeable and friendly, that I decided to go with Dominion on the spot (although I’m usually a check-all-options-first kind of guy). I was not disappointed. He called when he had the tires in, I dropped the car off, and could have picked it up in under an hour. But I needed an inspection sticker, so I asked if they could do that too. He said “no”, but volunteered to run the car across the street to the garage that could do that for me. Great. Turned out there was a hole in my muffler, so that needed to be fixed before it could clear the inspection. He said the garage could do the work for $350, but encouraged me to shop around for other quotes. I decided to do that. A few minutes later, he called back and said that one of his guys could do the work for $250. I was so impressed by this place (and I know that muffler work is not cheap) that I readily agreed. They did the work, got the inspection, and picked up my car, now ready to roll, by the end of the day! Great. AND – I just got a phone message from Ishmael (a couple of days after the work) to make sure everything is good with the car, and to remind me that with my purchase, I can bring the car in for a free tire rotation every 6,000 miles! ANDDDD – if I get a nail or screw in the tire, they will fix THAT for free as well!!! Could they BE any nicer? I think not. So that’s why I say, “Great work Ishmael, and Dominion Tires!” My highest recommendation.

great pop-in tire shop. Been going there for years when I hit a pothole too hard or get a slow leak in a tire. They can deal with it either with another tire, or a plug, or even fixing the rim seal. Convenient spot just a block from Silver Diner and the rest of central Clarendon -- good for waiting if you show up at a busy time or live nearby ! Usually they fix right away, but I have grabbed lunch at the Diner instead of waiting too

Arlington tire was awesome when I went there with a flat today. I showed up at noon, said I had a flat, and was wondering how much a patch was. The person at the desk said $45. He drove my car in right away, told me it would be about 20 minutes, and I was paid and out of there at 12:17. It’s been a few days and the pitch is solid, I would highly recommend! A note for queer folx: they’re queer friendly!! I have a trans pride flag and a rainbow pride flag on my Subaru, and my debit card is a pride flag as well. I’m also visibly not cis. Had a flat and called Arlington Tires. The manager, Lou, said they could plug/patch the tire right away for $20. If a new tire was needed, that would take longer. He also suggested calling Sears (where I purchased the tires) to see if I had warranty left in case I wanted to take it back to them for a free repair. That was a respectable thing to suggest which meant he wasn't just in it for the money. In the end, I brought my car to Arlington Tires and although they had a walk-in new customer they were servicing, Lou was able to accommodate me since he had already said they could fix it right away. The work was done in 15 min or so.

I ordered tires from BJ's and they falsely claimed that they would be installed before a planned roadtrip. I went to Domenion to get the flat fixed only to learn the obvious; all my tires were dry-rotted. Dominion got my tires overnight; installed them first thing and I was on my roadtrip as planned. Came in on a late afternoon on a Monday and saw a 'guy' on the phone outside while I was trying to reverse my car into a parking spot. We sell tires! Me: I KNOW! I'm trying to park! Ish: OH! LOL Ish was super informative and had me feeling really confident about coming into Dominion Tires. He and staff were no frills and very transparent with my transaction. He had originally suggested a pair of tires that I agreed with, but come to find out he didn't have them in my car size in stock. He then proceeded to suggest another tire that he trusted that were a little cheaper. Ish and the front desk lady then rang up my refund/new transaction. I highly suggest Dominion Tires! Will be back.
