Best place to purchase name brand tires. Their prices are low and their service is excellent. What is great about them is that when you purchase a tire from them, they will (if fixable) fix a flat on it for free for the life of the tire. I recommend them to my family and friends.

I went to the tire shop and got a tire for $70 and the tire went out on me almost a week and a half later I called and was told that it was only a 7 day warranty however the owner Rick reached out to me after my review and made sure to get me a refund even though I was over the time limit he went out of his way he is a very sweet guy I appreciate him and all of his help I definitely recommend going here for a tire still he has excellent customer service and I definitely recommend tire world🌟

They installed my own suspension parts at a fair price. The process was simple, I gave them a list of what I wanted installed which included rear struts, complete front control arm refresh. My car is a 2008 E60 550 and it’s difficult to find a good shop outside of euro specialist to work on it yet alone install my own parts. Anyhow, great service, they did what they said they would do at the price quoted and had my car done when they said they would. My go to place for tires, alignment and suspension.

All I can say is "Wow"! Today I tried to avoid an object on W Hillsborough but wound up driving smack dab over it. I kept wondering if any damage was done but everything seemed to be okay. I was stopped for a red light in the left lane at N Highland Ave when I realized my tire was now as flat as a pancake! I looked to my right and there was Tire World shining like Emerald City!! I crossed two lanes to get into the parking lot (a miracle in itself, thank you Jesus!) and was able to have my tire serviced. These folks are compassionate, more than fair and eager to help. I was on my way again in a mere 24 minutes. I am forever grateful to the staff and Jose for turning my hazardous situation into an afterthought.

Two outstandin experiences , 1st after local Subaru dealer diagnosis I questioned their recommendation and went to Tire World which do my Oil Changes and recent new Tire purchase. They reccomended replacing the rear differential. Followed thru and they solved the issue. Last week pulled in when check engine light illuminated. They reported possible catalytic converter issue but reset and said let's see if it repeats the error. One week of driving and no error report.

Talk about a life saver. My daughter and I were on our way for her to take her driving test. She pulled out of school from a steep incline and her car’s bottom plate hit the bottom becoming loose dragging. I started looking up shops on the way to her test and found Tire World. I told them my dilemma and her appointment was in 20 minutes. They came through in a big way took her car immediately fixed it in less then 10 minutes. I went inside to pay and they told me no charge. I couldn’t thank them enough. Taking the time and understanding doing a small favor like that I’m now going to be a returning customer. I can’t thank them enough and recommend. Those small acts of kindness go along way. Thank you Tire World 😁 and btw my daughter passed her driving test.

Tire World on Hillsborough is wonderful. They took very good care of me when I had a 1997 Geo Prizm and will tell you everything needed with the price upfront, and they always fix it right. Also, The tires I bought there may have been like $20 more, but their tires are better quality and lasted well beyond two years longer! The vehicle I have now is mostly under warranty from the dealership however if its anything the dealership won't cover I def will run right back to Tire World because they are Great! Tire World is literally the only place that didn't try to rip me off. Definitely highly recommend Tire World on Hillsborough!

Great service for average needs. I went in to patch up a slow leak on a Thursday (which I discovered is Ladies Day -- 10% off!) around 12-1 and there were several people before me, so the wait was about 20 minutes, but my service took only 10 minutes. My mechanic, Jose, provided some helpful information to me as well as did a minor repair that may have cost an arm at a leg at a body shop. (NOTE: this is not a body shop, but he went out of his way to do this minor fix out of the kindness of his heart). The patch was only $20 and there is an option to add a cash tip to a credit or debit charge. Great prices and fast, friendly service. I will be going back for any tire-related work!

Patty, Ken and Jose were great. You call request your tires and then they call you back when they have them in. Price is better than any other tire spot I found and they do it fast. Goodyear says 2.5 hours for 4 tires. Tire world did not need no 2.5 hours. So worth the drive to Tampa. If you want better tire options and don't want pay an extra 200 to 300 for no reason check them out. Got new wipers too.

Service is great. bought new set of tires in aug, 2020 at the best price I could find among competitors, jose installed them quickly, since then i have had two different occasions where I got a nail in tire that needed repair & jose did both times & got job done quick, the people at front counter were nice, friendly & helpful. BEST PLACE EVER. I’ve had all my tire related services done here for my last 3 cars. The two ladies who are always at the front desk are so nice and personable, and the services are always super quick and more affordable than anywhere else. Purchasing tires here is super painless and they give you tons of pricing options—plus they have discount days for a lot of different things. Only place I’d ever recommend.

Patty was great! I called early in the morning to order one tire for my dodge ram truck. She called me by 12 noon, had me on my way in 35 minutes. Only downside was when i got home i checked my spare tire and the technician had put it back upside down and loose under the truck. 1 * off for that however price was good and patty did a good job. I have been doing business with Tire World for over 10 years. I found them by looking in the phone book. I compared pricing with 2 other establishments so that's why I started going there. I appreciate the 'personal service' and whenever I have tire issues or anyone that I know, I send them there and tell them to ask for Patty. She's going to give them name brands and prices and will answer any other questions to get them the best quality and for the best price. I am comfortable enough to send my car by tow truck, make a phone call, and know that it will get done and done right. I've even had my car repaired also. Part and labor was much cheaper and I didn't have to go back. Never had unnecessary service recommended and when a service is/was recommended, I have it done there! Won't go anywhere. I will put my spare on if it's after hours or just put my car down until I can get there. I don't trust anyone else. The cat is kool too!

I had all 4 tires changed out recently. This was my first experience with Tire World in 2014. The staff was very friendly, especially Patty and the work was done at a reasonable price and the wait was not bad either. I did have to return because I had gotten a nail in my tire, but again the wait wasn't long and the patch was done free of charge. I have always had a good buying experience at Tire World. The lady at the front desk (Patty) has always been pleasant and accomodating. However, the last time I bought a set of tires for my Mercedes I later found out they were not a good fit for my car. The Mgr of a Tires Plus told me the tires were not what I should have put on my car. He recommended a different tire and guaranteed me a smoother ride. He was right, a much smoother ride on the tires I bought from him. Now in all fairness to Patty, I did request the least expensive tires I could get but I would have preferred not at the expense of a rough ride. I would have preferred Patty steer me away from the cheaper tires and flat out told me they wouldn't be the best tires for my car, even though they were the cheapest.Sometimes comfort has to trump price. No hard feelings on my part as I have always received courteous and friendly service AND in a timely fashion. I just would have preferred being encouraged to spend a little bit more money for a better ride. If I move back to Tampa, I would still go back to tire World. I have and in fact still recommend Tire World to my friends in Tampa.

I have had two sets of tires mounted in the last two weeks. One was a spare and two were on the vehicle. Both times they were mounted and balanced quickly and professionally. The directions from me for the pair were a little convoluted but Tire World followed what I asked for. The price was reasonable. The service was great.

The only reason I did not rate this a 5 is due to pricing. Although I got a good deal on 4 tires, I was really intrigued by the $100 off and $100 rebate. Didn't realize the additional $100 rebate only applied to specific customers. But nonetheless, the process was quick and customer service was superb. From the moment I entered the building to the second I left, I was thoroughly entertained by Vic. He was great. Made spending my money fun, which seems like an oxymoron. I feel safe and happy with my four new tires. Thanks.

If I could give more than five stars, I would. These people are AMAZING!!!! Not once, but twice in as many weeks, they proved they are far more concerned about honesty and building relationships than they are about making a quick buck. Many other garages would have easily taken me for thousands of dollars between these two visits (with two different cars). I've spent far less than $100 combined. This is now 'my garage' and where I will go for all my repairs, and where I will bring my daughter's car for hers. Honest, friendly, efficient, and capable. It doesn't get any better. Got a 10% discount for Ladies Day (Thursday) which was nice. Was told there was also a 5% cash discount, but didn't receive a lower price once I showed I was paying in cash. I can, however, understand this as I was told they don't make much money on diesel oil changes due to the high price of the oil. Asked that they look for a transmission leak, but I think the mechanic missed that note so I'll have to take it back for that. Considering it was close to the end of the day when I took the car, it was speedy service and I paid what I was quoted. Would probably edit my review later if I had more substantial work done other than an oil change.

Recently purchased a new set of tires for my 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback with 256,000 miles at Tire World. After install I noticed a strange noise, took it to the Subaru dealer who reccomended replacement of struts and shocks. That made no sense to me as they were 2 years old. Took it back for 2nd opinion at Tire World. They isolated the noise to the rear differential. They found a used one, but it was no better. Found a second user which corrected the problem. I believe when you are in difficult areas, replace other parts. So a Spindle bearing, cv shaft and wheel bearing were added as I didn't want to come back down the road. The first new wheel bearing was defective, so they asked for more time. The second was great. The noise is gone and sitting in traffic no longer has vibration or noise. First class work. Fair prices and persistence until perfect.

A few weeks ago, I had the tires replaced on my car. As I was paying for that service, I was informed that I also needed to have something called a right camber kit (or something like that) installed, as well. When the mechanic took the car for a drive, he said the car was pulling slightly to the right. I informed them that I would return later to have the kit installed, after we returned from a long road trip we were taking. Earlier this week, I took the car back to have the camber kit installed. I was told it would cost approximately $90. I waited the 1-2 hours for the car to be completed, and received a call from Patty telling me the camber kit they thought needed to be installed didn’t. For some reason, the car wasn’t pulling to the right anymore. We suspected maybe the road trip somehow resolved the pulling. In any case, no camber kit was needed. Now here’s the thing: Could they have said they installed the camber kit and charged me for it? Sure. Would I have known if they actually installed the kit? No. Frankly, I wouldn’t know a camber kit if it came up and bit me on the ass. They could have easily lied to my face, charged me for something they didn’t do, and I wouldn’t have known the difference. But they didn’t. When you stand at the front desk, look to the right. On the wall is a big sign. Read it. It is their commitment to quality and to being an honest and reputable shop. And on this day, they proved that to me. They demonstrated their commitment being honest and upfront. They showed a characteristic that some other mechanics in this town don’t. Something that is lacking in our society. Namely, integrity. And for this reason, I will continue to use Tire World for my car’s repairs.

I love the convenience and friendliness of the staff here. HOWEVER beware: mechanics don't always put your car back together. On multiple occasions we have had tires not put back on properly (nearly causing an accident) and today they neglected to put the OIL CAP back on our tank and nearly wrecked our engine. Great deals, but make sure you QC the condition of your car before leaving the property.

I had my car's windshield replaced. As I told the business manager, somehow their technicians disconnected the cars horn and, hence, the alarm. I took it to a shop, they spent an hour fooling around with it and told me to take it to the dealer (the car is a Honda Civic Hybrid). My son told me about this shop, where they take their cars. Since I was at his house, we drove there and left my car. They were busy. Not even an hour later I got a call from them that my car was ready and, since there was nothing wrong with it, it was free of charge! Now, who does that nowadays? Not too many people. When I picked up the car, I asked what was wrong and they told me.... someone disconnected the horn. I found the shop where I will be taking my car from now on, and I don't live in Tampa! I am very thankful to them and have recommended them to my friends.

I got there first thing when they opened Saturday morning and was in and out in about 45 minutes. They were kind and welcoming (especially for a Saturday morning). My only advice would be to make sure you're there right when they open on a Saturday - it was pretty busy within the first 30-60 minutes of being open.

Need to keep your paper work! Went in to get my tire changed didn't have my paper work and they won't change it for free even though there computer says I can won't happen till I find the paper work on my tires. It took them 5 hours to change my tires the first time figured I paid top dollar my tires would be insured and I be fine even though it took 3 hours longer then they said. Honestly couldn't be happier with Tire World. Had a hydro locked engine due to a torrential Tampa flash downpour. Scion Air filter sucked up water. They negotiated with my insurance company, placed a BRAND NEW engine in my car (which they allowed me to purchase and have shipped from California) and they changed the clutch while the engine was out. The only thing I had to pay for outside of insurance was the parts for the clutch, a fouled injector, coil and some plugs. Purrs like a kitten now!

I brought my Audi A4 B6 in to get an AC charge after I had replaced the AC system myself. They had no problem finding a leak, fixing it and charging it up. Lots of places are afraid to work on an Audi because of the nose having to be removed for a variety of repairs. I got American car labor charges, which is a rarity. I brought my 1999 mustang cobra in for a new clutch. These guys did the job right. I have Maximum Motorsports firewall clutch adjuster, pedal limiter among some other mods. This type of install requires a lot of adjustments beyond a standard OEM install. The specs are tight. The clutch was installed as well as any pro shop could have done it ..hell, probably better. All I have to do is stab at the clutch to shift. **Tire world also kept the car in the bay a week while they waited on my AL flywheel to get back from McLeod. Yup.
